The budget debate is an all too familiar fake crisis routinely employed by Democrats seeking money for their social engineering projects. The turmoil seems to always come with the phrase, “If the budget isn’t passed (with our added extras), the government will be shut down!” And since a rational media does not exist, the American people are told of the impending calamities that await. Even though government shutdowns in the past have never caused the left’s predicted disasters, the fear tactic is often enough to get Democrats all the extra pork they want.

Bailey’s article questioned the accuracy of predictions made around the time of the first Earth Day in 1970? According to Bailey, “The prophets of doom were not simply wrong, but spectacularly wrong.”

According to Bailey, some of the highlighted expert predictions in 1970 were, “By 1985, air pollution will have reduced the amount of sunlight reaching earth by one half.” “Urban dwellers will have to wear gas masks to survive air pollution.”

Peter Gunter, a North Texas State University professor, wrote, “By the year 2000, thirty years from now, the entire world, with the exception of Western Europe, North America, and Australia, will be in famine.”

Enter the latest “expert” predictions regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. An April 2020 AIER article showed the immensely incorrect forecasts published by the Imperial College London (ICL) that predicted 2.2 million deaths in the United States. The current number of deaths in the U.S. is 99,013.

In a Real Clear Markets April 2020 article, The CDC projected that 2.4 million to 21 million people in the U.S. could end up in the hospital, overwhelming emergency wards and ICUs. As of the writing of this article, total cases in the U.S. are 1,676,460. These forecasts by the experts were both extraordinarily shocking and extremely wrong.

While running out of witchhunt investigations to fill their pages and time slots, Dempnets exploited the fears raised by such desperate estimates by attacking the President for not doing enough to save American lives.

Even though medical experts with decades of experience were massively off the mark with their predictions, Trump was supposed to see through the deceptions coming out of China and possess the unlimited resources needed to overcome poorly run state governments and a depleted Strategic National Stockpile (SNS).

OVID-19: Once again using the red flag strategy of fear

The silver lining surrounding the COVID-19 cloud resides in the wakeup call to those Americans passionately following the predictions of other “experts” who give the earth less than 12 years because of Climate change.

Dempnets can be excused for their many deceptions and falsifications since they are only doing their jobs and producing what they are supposed to produce.

Scientific experts are people, and people make mistakes. However, they are also people who can be compromised as easily as any other group of people.

They have destroyed their economy and the tourist industry will be finished this summer. Is Canada More Cult Than Country?

Cults are often described as a religious sect considered to be extremist or false, typically under the thrall of a charismatic leader. However, even religious cults meet the general description “Obsessive, especially faddish, devotion to or veneration for a person, principle, or thing.”  In a broad secular sense, it could be said that cultists are devotees of false, reality-challenged, principles.

Is it possible that “conventional society” itself could become a cult? At first glance that would seem impossible because not everyone believes the same things. The point is, in a democracy, you don’t need everyone to believe the same thing, you just need enough believing voters to gain political power. Boom, the cult rules over everyone.

Psychological And Emotional Manipulation

Cults have to pick and choose their targets carefully, typically seeking those who are stressed or emotionally vulnerable with tenuous family connections. The grooming begins with “Love-bombing” whereby targets are showered with praise and affection.The feelings of validation and acceptance provide a sense of belonging and help build loyalty towards the group.

Isolation follows. People are physically and intellectually separated from outside influences of friends and family that could provide a reality check and contradictory information is censored. This allows the cult to gain control.

Maintaining control requires keeping the members ignorant and off balance, typically with a mixture of terror and love. Dissent is punished and obedience is lauded. Fear isn’t enough as people will break down and become a problem, so the cult provides a safe space to run to. The combination of fear and safety guides their path.

The brainwashing makes it exceedingly difficult for people to escape. Control of information stagnates intellectual development and prevents growth and understanding and without outside allies, it is hard to break the emotional bonds that have been developed.

It’s easy to look down at people who’ve been taken advantage of by a cult, to mock their emotional weakness and insult their intelligence but are we as a nation guilty of swallowing barrels full of kool-aid ourselves?

The Country Sized Cult

Psychological manipulation through emotional control and intellectual ignorance are the keys to a cult’s success and both can be managed if one controls the message. For the most part, our media and educations systems speak with a monolithic voice on all important matters.

While cults have to be careful in their target selection, a country sized cult has no restrictions because every citizen is targeted. The goal is simply to convince enough citizens to gain political control. Unfortunately, success forces everyone to live with the cult’s rules.

Censorship is evil, as are those who engage in it. It doesn’t protect us from “bad” information, it ensures conformity by restricting the information available for consumption and contemplation. It boxes us into an intellectual corner thereby setting limits on societal understanding. In other words, censorship keeps us ignorant and ignorance is an exploitable condition.
Emotional control tactics come in all shapes and sizes, from subtle persuasion to vile coercion.

Virtue signalling is a type of love-bomb that says, “look at how good we are, and how bad you are”. It has a dual personality that reflects both submission and superiority. By submitting, one is warmly welcomed by acceptable society where they can show superiority by shaming and excluding from the group those who refuse.

Reusable shopping bags and COVID masks are great examples. Unless kept meticulously clean, reusable bags are unsafe when they turn into bacteria and virus farms. COVID masks don’t prevent catching the virus because they aren’t sealed, and some have pores larger than the virus. They virtue signal concern but virtue signalling is not an act of virtue because virtuous behaviour is that which honors and respects truth and reality.

The phrases “willful ignorance” and “lack of nuance” are more aggressive forms of emotional manipulation that insinuate the target lacks the intellectual capacity to properly understand the situation. They are used to emotionally bully opponents into accepting one’s own beliefs about the subject. For instance, one is willfully ignorant if they don’t accept the scientific consensus on “climate change” that the sun has little to do with it. Nuance can be viewed as the weighing and measuring of information at the appropriate time and place in the thinking process. Some information is irrelevant or overwhelmed by other factors. Dismissing such data isn’t a sign one “lacks nuance”, it’s an indicator of intelligence. Using the phrases as slurs, however, is an obvious attempt to coerce, not teach.

The vilest manipulation tactics are direct attacks on a person’ character and can induce a mob mentality within the cult. Indiscriminately labelling people who disagree as some form of racist, xenophobic, bigot can cause people to lose their livelihoods and sometimes their lives when the mob starts braying for blood. They are typically used against those whose understanding and expertise threaten the state of ignorance that has been carefully and deliberately crafted in the cult.
The underlying theme of Cult Canada is government is good, big government is better, and totalitarian government is best.  Climate and COVID alarm are media manufactured fears where more government is the solution.

An Admission Of Ignorance

Norway’s health chief admitted that they could have controlled COVID-19 without the lockdown and avoided some of the unfortunate impacts of the lockdown.  It’s an admittance they acted hastily in ignorance, a refreshing dose of honesty sadly missing in the Canadian landscape.

Some of us warned back in March that we were making an incredible mistake. It wasn’t a guess. It was the knowledge that the media does manipulate emotions in service to an agenda and that the data challenged models could only be guessing. They, and the experts, were absolutely ignorant. That, and logic rule number one, bad information leads to bad consequences.

We’re willingly destroying ourselves so tell me, how are we not a cult?

Refusing to Wear Masks in the South

Journalists have not gotten the message — they are now viewed even below police as a trusted ethical profession in society. They spend all their time trying to scare people and disregard the economic havoc they have caused, no less the massive job loss and futures they have destroyed. About 30% of mortgages are behind and commercial property has crashed and burned. Even our landlord is on their hands & knees pleading for us to renew, offering sizable discounts, just so they can break even.

Economically, it’s a different picture altogether in the South. Millions of people here don’t know a single soul who has become sick, but they know plenty of people who have lost their jobs. Those I know who got sick are in New Jersey and New York.

When I go out, the only people with masks are the employees and many have them just below their nose so they can breathe. On the street, perhaps I have seen one person out of a thousand with a mask. Nobody in my area knows anyone with COVID-19 down here. This is becoming like CNN’s forecast for a hurricane that we were all going to die and a “10-foot wall of water” was going to rush in. Perhaps it reached the top of my big toe.

German leaked of a document confirming that this entire Coronavirus scare is nonsense has surfaced. The government lied to the public and claimed it was just the opinion of one employee. The German press, like the rest of the lot, attacked the report for they love the scare tactics of the virus to try to sell advertising and boost readership alongside many who question what are they supporting and why.

This was a 93-page report titled “Analysis of the Crisis Management” that was drafted by a scientific panel appointed by the interior ministry and composed by external medical experts from several German universities.

The leftist press prefers bogus models and Bill Gates to real science. What they have done to the people is outrageous. The leftist press is simply not defending the people. The press is only inspiring civil unrest and they should tread lightly, for they have advocated the destruction or people’s jobs and their future which will only lead to violence.

The Lincoln administration also fasted a hostile press and turned a blind eye to the First Amendment in the interest of national security. The culprit was the New York Tribune’s Horace Greeley who privately at first supported the south. Greeley eventually came to support the fight to restore the Union. This raises interesting precedents that Trump perhaps should look at when also facing such a hostile press which is clearly now threatening national security.

Legal confusion on the wearing of masks is evident. Eighteen states have laws on the books that forbid face coverings in public for reasons ranging from concealing identities to wearing one with intent to commit a crime, harassment or intimidation.

Mask bans first came about in response to the Ku Klux Klan’s infamous donning of hoods as a cowardly disguise. More states instituted anti-mask laws following the rise of Occupy Wall Street (OWS), Antifa and other rioters that relied on face coverings to avoid prosecution.

Officials’ heavy-handed dictates to don ineffective face coverings have been accepted by a deliberately frightened populace, separating them physically and emotionally from family and friends

Added to the mask twist are the head coverings and veils that some religious sects employ citing modesty, though even those have been known to be employed to thwart identification after engaging in illegal activity.

Along comes COVID-19 aka the Wu-Flu, Kung Flu, etc. and, in the blink of an eye, masks are all the rage purportedly to protect from a virus so small it’s breathed right through the weave of the fabric or the fibers of the paper.

The critical word here is rage. The otherwise benign face covering has taken on a new, compound role.

The first is using the mask to condition individuals to, without dispute, follow orders from government “experts” who flout their own statistics about the coronavirus and call it science. Whatever administrative edicts are signed into effect, the general populace has been complicit in the duplicity by not bothering to check the facts. (That does not include the censoring fact-checkers’ invented and corrupted data flooding social and mass media.) Officials’ heavy-handed dictates to don ineffective face coverings have been accepted by a deliberately frightened populace, separating them physically and emotionally from family and friends.

The irony is that, in those 18 states, complying with the facemask mandate means breaking the law. Consider France where they’re having a difficult time reconciling orders to wear facemasks with the fact that burkas and veils have been outlawed to combat terrorism .

The second twist of this whole mask debacle is the criminal free-for-all that has been loosed upon the country. Even before the outbreak of violence over the tragic death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, there was a rise in the number of robberies by out-of-work petty criminals who were emboldened to steal merchandise from shops in broad daylight. It happened across the street locally at a Dollar General as well as a Dirt Cheap warehouse outlet a few weeks ago.

With this in mind, it’s not surprising that raging rioters used the anonymity of the now ubiquitous surgical mask to loot, trash and burn businesses across the nation. Hardworking citizens’ lifelong dreams and efforts are being destroyed for the sake of selfish sods letting off steam and snatching kitchen appliances.

This is what happens when the government pays people to do nothing – they get bored and bite the hand that feeds them. Welcome to socialism and the death throes of a once noble nation.

But there’s more to the convoluted legal morass of mandating mask wearing and social distancing, and that’s the reality of the First Amendment rights of both free speech and free expression of religion. In one instance, far overstepping her authority, Chicago’s health commissioner, Allison Arwady, threatened churches with closure and implied demolition if they exercise their religious freedom to worship according to their doctrines.

Government entities have already run-up against religious conformities where some sects instruct followers to wear hijabs, niqabs and even the body covering burkas. In instances where the government cannot make a case of compelling public interest for removal, those so clothed may keep their coverings.

Creating a universal visual of covered mouths

Thus, the opposite may be true in that government cannot force individuals to wear a mask if such a face covering counters their religious belief that a virus with a smaller annual mortality rate than diabetes is not stronger than the healing power of God. (Here could be listed any number of supporting scriptures: 2 Timothy1:7, Exodus 15:26, Psalm 103:3, Jeremiah 17:14, Isaiah 53:4-5, 1 Peter 2:24 and on and on.)

The argument has been adjudicated before where health department officials have tried to force individuals to receive medical treatment against their religious beliefs. Nor are the two arguments severed in that true statistics of COVID-19 mortality prove that not wearing a mask is no more a threat to public health than an individual refusing “life-saving” surgery or therapy.

Of course, the fact that public health often withdraws the option of life-saving therapy to persons comatose or suffering from a terminal illness creates another crimp in the scope of legal health mandates. (Check Oregon and other states’ euthanasia laws.)

The overreaching mask directives enacted by many state, county and municipal officials have one more devastating effect on the general populace – creating a universal visual of covered mouths, virtually shutting up opposition. Facemasks hide identities, conceal emotions and, more importantly, induce silencing of the tongue and the limiting of free speech.

How many times has it been said that a picture is worth a thousand words? This is the image that prohibits speaking the thousand words.

With most churches remaining closed for this Pentecost Sunday, the mission of ‘New Normal Messiah’, the Most Reverend Dr. Anthony Fauci, may be complete.  The Coronavirus Pandemic he predicted back in 2017—which already cancelled 2020 Holy Week and Easter Sunday’s commemoration of Our Lord and Savior’s Resurrection—will now, just as dictatorially, cancel out Pentecost.

For the few churches that may remain open under enforced social distancing and mask wearing for attendees, receiving Holy Communion is too risky—even if it involves only the distribution of Holy Communion without the cup.

In other words, you are safe as the proverbial church in a bar where doctors like Fauci say you aren’t likely to catch the virus—but more likely to expose yourself to it when receiving the Body of Jesus Christ.

How to ensure that the mask-wearing romantic partner you picked up through an app like Tinder is telling the truth when they say they are “feeling well”?

If you thought churches should be Houses of Worship serving the sheep for The Shepherd, you’re behind the times in Marxist-coached Messiah Fauci’s coming “New Normal”.

I have spent a lot of time since early March in the woods, in the company of birds, geese, a wild rabbit, a fox visiting my yard daily, squirrels, a racoon, five deer who enjoy the grass in our back yard at dusk, one coyote, wasps, bumblebees, a majestic eagle, a water snake, the river, flowers, grasses, two ospreys, and a lot of mud.

The daily trips to the woods saved my sanity when everything around me turned irrational and abnormal, “socially distancing” from other humans as if they had the bubonic plague, the “new normal” as the Democrat leaders turned Stalinists and their lackey mainstream media have been telling us non-stop for twelve weeks now.

Insane lefties took up the crusade of forcing everyone to wear face masks outside, in the woods, in state parks, in the house, in stores, while jogging, biking, in grocery stores, and in their own cars when they were driving alone.

A fashion industry has quickly popped up with useless face masks of various shapes, sizes, thickness, colors, and messages that fit the submissive and scared-to-death personality of the wearer. One famous individual expressed herself with a crocheted mask with holes.

We must wear a face mask at the bank, coupled with seeing eyeglasses, and it seems that it is now legal to do so. Who would have thought that looking like a robber would be acceptable and necessary in a bank?  But here we are.

I used to walk across a fishing pier where two ospreys were nesting. I enjoyed photographing them while the male was bringing his mate fish in his beak. But the governor closed the pier and the occasional 5-6 fishermen had to move alongside the river’s edge, clustered together under the railroad bridge. How else could they tell each other tall fishing tales and drink beer? Humans are social creatures and need other people to remain sane and healthy. And the catfish and snakeheads fed their families. Thanks to the governor’s crazy policies, the fishermen are now unemployed and unable to provide for their loved ones.

The governor left state parks open but closed the bathroom facilities – too much to clean properly, the ranger explained one day. But they brought in unsightly port-o-potties which had no hand sanitizer and were sprayed by a park employee with Lysol spray. Who can argue with the logic of a governor, who is a doctor, that a port-o-potty with exposed fecal matter and urine is cleaner than a restroom?

People could stand on the river’s sandy beach and fish or exercise, but nobody could sit in a chair or on the sand – it must be crawling with Covid-19 viruses. How in the world have we ever survived so far on thousands of crowded beaches around the world without social isolation or physical distancing! How lucky we were! It is a “miracle” that Dr. Fauci and Dr. Brix saved us on time. It was worth every penny of the six trillion dollars in debt and the millions of permanently unemployed.

Arbitrary rules of physical distancing euphemistically called “social distancing” were established, a form of social isolation which varied across the globe, from 3-6 ft, even though a cough or a sneeze can travel much farther, 18-24 ft.

Then the leftist and regressive population, whose agenda was never about liberty of any kind, started to turn into the Gestapo, vociferously shaming anybody who dared to show up without a face mask—How dare you endanger my fragile health? Go home and hide under a rock! Worse yet, the left turned into the Stasi Karen(s) and called the police on face mask violators.

And the police, being the vigilant defenders and protectors of the law that they are, started arresting parents playing with their children, church goers, partiers in private homes, restaurant patrons who violated totalitarian lockdown orders, towed their cars, fined citizens for daring to open up businesses, and for eating inside restaurants or bars.

People became so conditioned that, while walking in the woods to get fresh air, they wore masks alone and with their spouses and children. Shrill women were shouting twelve feet away from other humans, “stay away from me,” as if they were aliens in the invasion of the body snatchers.

Irrational and panicked, these individuals have lost whatever sanity they have ever had. I can now fully understand how the lynching of innocents happened when crowds reached a frenzy of hatred towards helpless humans exercising their right to exist.

People now cross the street to avoid each other and make no eye contact or attempt at any human interaction. We have become invisible to each other, “contactless” humans.

A park employee was collecting parking fees one day using a fishing net with a long handle. The drivers had to put their money in, and the attendant retrieved the said cash from the net following the “contactless” dictates of the non-stop PSAs.

“Contactless,” “safe,” “stay safe,” “safe distancing,” “together alone” (an oxymoron), “new normal” became the indoctrinating phrase of the new generation of supine and scared humans who would rather exchange their freedom for temporary “safety.”

The extreme cowardice and almost overnight submission to totalitarianism without a whimper or logical argument and questioning were painful to watch.
