Russia Indicates Withdrawal in Position From Ukraine Capital, Kyiv

While the western propaganda about the Russian objective in Ukraine remains at a fever pitch, most intellectually honest observers have always held that liberation of eastern Ukraine was the goal of Russia and western Ukraine was never part of the objective.

With a decade-long civil war in eastern Ukraine preceding the current Russian operations, and with western forces supporting one side while Russia supported the other, it was always presumed -prior to the Russian military operations- that Vladimir Putin’s central goal was removing the NATO influence from eastern Ukraine.

That objective has seemingly remained visible throughout the conflict with Russian activity in western Ukraine limited in scope to targeting inbound NATO weapons and material support.

We might remember the 20-mile-long armored convoy that sat in place for weeks north of Kyiv while the media narrative was ‘any day now’. Those troops never moved on Kyiv, and in hindsight looked more like a strategic positioning of resources to keep western Ukraine in check while the more important goal of clearing eastern Ukraine was the ongoing operation.

It seems a little silly to point out the obvious, but everything Putin said about what he was doing in Ukraine is factually what has taken place. The western media narrative spinning his ‘true intents’ to be much more significant than his open statements, has never played out when reviewing the actual military operations. In short, Putin was then (as he said), and continues now, to be carving out eastern Ukraine and the Donbas region.

As the Russian operations in eastern Ukraine enter the clean-up and finalization stage, this report about the shift in Russian operations near Kyiv and western Ukraine makes a great deal of sense.  The Reuters spin is that Putin was losing western Ukraine, ergo he is reducing activity.  However, it never appeared that western Ukraine was part of the objective.

ISTANBUL/KYIV OUTSKIRTS/MARIUPOL, Ukraine, March 29 (Reuters) – Russia promised on Tuesday to scale down military operations around Ukraine’s capital and north, while Kyiv proposed adopting neutral status, in confidence-building steps that were the first signs of progress towards negotiating peace.

Their talks took place in an Istanbul palace more than a month into the largest attack on a European nation since World War Two. Russia’s invasion has been halted on most fronts by stiff resistance from Ukrainian forces who have recaptured territory even as civilians are trapped in besieged cities.

He made no mention of other areas that have seen heavy fighting, including around Mariupol in the southeast, Sumy and Kharkiv in the east and Kherson and Mykolaiv in the south.

Some analysts noted that Russia’s promise to reduce fighting mostly covered areas where it has been losing ground.

[…] Ukrainian negotiators said that under their proposals, Kyiv would agree not to join alliances or host bases of foreign troops, but would have security guaranteed in terms similar to “Article 5”, the collective defence clause of the transatlantic NATO military alliance.

They named Israel and NATO members Canada, Poland and Turkey as countries that may give such guarantees. Russia, the United States, Britain, Germany and Italy could also be involved.

The proposals, which would require a referendum in Ukraine, mentioned a 15-year consultation period on the status of Crimea, annexed by Russia in 2014. The fate of the southeastern Donbas region, which Russia demands Ukraine cede to separatists, would be discussed by the Ukrainian and Russian leaders.

Kyiv’s proposals also included one that Moscow would not oppose Ukraine joining the European Union, Russia’s lead negotiator Vladimir Medinsky said. Russia has previously opposed Ukrainian membership of the EU and especially of NATO. (read more)

Biden’s Approval Rating Reaches New Low

Armstrong Economics Blog/Politics Re-Posted Mar 29, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

Biden’s approval rating is now at its lowest point since he entered office. America is now at its worst point since he entered office. Biden has repeatedly shown the people that he is an incompetent leader. Even the White House has had to clarify Biden’s statements as a misstep while speaking as the POTUS could lead to a world war.

Around 71% of respondents say America is “on the wrong track” under the Biden Administration. Inflation has caused the cost of living to become unmaintainable for 62% of American families who stated they are “falling behind” on finances, and 63% said they do not approve of his handling of the nation’s economy.

Only 28% of respondents said they had a “great deal” (12%) or “quite a bit” (16%) of confidence in Biden’s ability to handle the conflict in Ukraine. Around 51% of Americans disapprove of his management of foreign policy overall. Everyone knows that Joe Biden is unfit to lead America at this point.

Public confidence is gone.

Houston – We have a Problem in Washington

Armstrong Economics Blog/Politics Re-Posted Mar 29, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

While it is true that all nations selfishly act to expand their geopolitical influence and power following Adman Smith Invisible hand be it internationally as well as domestically against their own people – i.e. endless regulations and rising taxation. Just two days ago, Blinkin had his wrists slapped with a club warning that he was propelling the world into a catastrophic war that would end all time telling Ukrainians they can win and that the US was demanding Regime Change in Russia. Then came the backtrack cleaning up what had been hurled at Russia and he pronounced the United States would NOT seek Regime Change in Russia and he was back to telling Zelensky to settle.

There is serious concern that Biden has really lost it. He has now come out again calling for Regime Change in Russia. Biden is off the chain and suddenly thinks he is really president. He came out and contradicted his own staff Monday claiming he has not retracted his comments on regime change in Russia.

“I’m not walking anything back,” Biden pronounced! “The fact of the matter is I was expressing the moral outrage that I felt.”

Hopefully, both China and Russia are well aware that Biden is out of control. If anyone desperately needs Regime Change, it is the United States. NEVER in the history of international relations has ANY complete collapse in civility ever taken place between the major world powers. Kennedy NEVER called Khrushchev a madman. That would have prevented any negotiations to calm things down. Biden is NOT competent to be the leader of the United States and he certainly cannot represent the West.  Kennedy was able to sit down with Khrushchev – nobody can imagine that taking place now the way Biden has handled the situation turning into a new COLD WAR that is close to turning RED HOT.

Nixon, on the other hand, did lose his cool and not just raised his index finger and was poking Khrushchev’s chest. In a bar, that is what they say are fighting words. Whether Nixon lost his cool or this was a deliberate attempt at intimidation is hard to say. However, Khrushchev is closing his eyelids at that moment which is clearly trying to psychologically block Nixon and ignore him. If Khrushchev was a lesser man and a hothead, that would have been war right then and there. But Nixon was the Vice President – not the President which diminished the act politically.

When Nixon became president, in 1972 he visited the People’s Republic of China, where he met with Chinese Communist Party Chairman Mao Zedong. Nixon was what most people called a Hawk in those days so they did not see him as bending the knee to communists. To a large extent, Nixon was seeking to divide and conquer. His hardline tactics with Russia would get him nowhere. Nixon had chosen to try to split Russia from China highlighting all the nukes and troops guarding the border with China.

Nixon’s visit to China was of particular significance. The US had refused to recognize the Communist government and continued to recognize the rebels in Taiwan and the real government. That was a real problem politically. How do you meet with a leader you do not recognize? Nixon pulled it off and began friendly relations with China v confrontational relations with Russia.

This time, Biden has threatened both and is undoing what Nixon sought to do for national security – divide China and Russia. There is great concern that Biden is becoming a loose cannon on the world deck in the middle of a hurricane. There is no telling which way he will shoot off his mouth next. He really should be removed from office for the sake of the entire world.

ECASH & Elizabeth Warren’s Hatred of America Linked to WEF

Blog/The Hunt for Taxes

Spread the love

QUESTION #1: Is this ECASH bill an attempt to do an end-run around the Fed raising interest rates and preparing to default on debt

EM

QUESTION #2: Martin:
Congratulations on your “scoop” regarding ECASH, however…..you have done an extremely poor job of actually describing what it is…who will have it…will it be mandatory for everyone…what if anything it will change in regard to bank accounts, brokerage accounts,,,,daily transactions…etc…etc…etc! Is this going to be something that will immediately affect everyone’s life in a major way, or is it something that most of us can ignore, if we wish, at least for the foreseeable future?
ALSO…what are the odds of it actually being approved by the house and senate?
Thank you.

KG

Set of Federal Reserve Notes issued by every branch

ANSWER: NO it’s not an end-run around the Fed with interest rates. It is terminating the Federal Reserve issue of paper money. The Fed will still be able to create electronic money buying in bonds etc as they do now. But they will not be issuing paper money so the question will be the next stage of how to actually cancel what is out there. They will NO LONGER be printing money from here on out once they shove this down the throats of the American people.

It is the en-run against economic freedom and forces everyone on the grid. So while Biden hurls insults at Putin for an autocracy, he is working hard to eliminate our freedom right here at home. Because you will ONLY be able to buy it from a bank account, by default, they will eliminate the cash economy and realize Elizabeth Warren’s wet dream – they will tax absolutely everything!

It is interesting how our economic freedom made America the #1 world economy and Warren turns to Schwab’s star economist on how to bring America down to its knees. The WEF goal is to end the United States as a superpower. I call that treason.

Warren’s adviser is not American – but the French Communist who lurks in the shadows. The World Economic Forum’s economic star celebrity – Thomas Pickety the French Economic Communist!

You will have to pay that 14-year-old girl next door for babysitting your kids with barter – chocolate bars, lipstick, cans of food, or just clothes on a shopping spree. It will be MANDATORY for everyone since the Fed will no longer be printing paper money. The only change to bank accounts is that they will eventually be required for everyone as Europe has already declared that it is a human right to have an account. Your bank accounts, brokerage accounts, and retirement accounts won’t change since they are already electronic book entries. That will be the WEALTH TAX in Biden’s separate bill. As far as daily transactions, in reality, you will be paying for something at a store the same but the cash will be like a Debit Card.

This will NOT be something that will immediately affect everyone’s life for it has to pass Congress. This is the time to start writing to every pretend representative we have. Come November, we really need REGIME CHANGE here in America in a major way but it is time to consider abandoning the Income Tax and moving to simply a retail sales tax to recapture our freedom. Then the “rich” will pay when they buy their $300 million yachts regardless if it is from a Trust, Foundation, Corporation, or personal Piggybank.

This will NOT be something that most of us can ignore if it gets passed. It will completely destroy our personal freedom. It is going to be a tough sell for all we need is just ONE Democrat to say NO. Otherwise, the Democratic Party will destroy our future and that of our children making sure that the United States will become just a footnote in the history books. That’s what will unfold for daring to follow Marxism just as communism fell officially on November 9th, 1989 (1989.85) with the collapse of the Berlin Wall. Guess what, 31.4 years from that collapse of Marxism, brings us to the rise of Marxism with the election of Joe Biden – 2021.25.

When Joe was practicing his speech in Poland, he was looking in the mirror saying:

“For God’s Sake, This Man Cannot Remain In Power”

The Democrats have declared war on the free markets and want to destroy the underground economy. If you are a bellman, get another job. This ends all tips unless it’s included in the tab, and when you have your mask on for the next manufactured pandemic, there will be no coins left for parking meters or vending machines.

Biden Cheat Sheet Shows How Team Behind White House Intended to Control His Cleanup

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on March 28, 2022

When Joe Biden appeared before the press corps today, the intent was to clean up the mess he created in his trip to NATO this past weekend.

When Biden makes policy statements and reads from the teleprompter, Joe Biden usually doesn’t answer questions.  Today was different.  Today, it was obvious the White House communication team needed Biden to clean up his NATO statements.

The evidence for that is very clear, as someone was able to capture a picture of the talking points that were prepared for him to read.  One pre-printed response even reads, “I was not articulating a change in policy.”

(New York Post) –  President Joe Biden once again referred to a printed cheat sheet as he doubled down on his unscripted weekend claim that Vladimir Putin “cannot remain in power.”

On Monday Biden, 79, told reporters he made “no apologies” for his remarks — made off the cuff and not part of his prepared speech in a nationally televised address from Poland Saturday — and did not view it as a provocation to Russia.

“It’s more an aspiration than anything. He shouldn’t be in power. There’s no  — I mean, people like this shouldn’t be ruling countries, but they do. The fact is they do, but it doesn’t mean I can’t express my outrage about it.”

His comments closely aligned with notes printed on a small piece of paper that he was photographed holding in his left hand as he spoke that began as follows (read more):

No one has yet provided a good explanation as to why the Biden administration has a stage set of the White House in a studio across the street from the real White House.

The specifics of this Potemkin administrations are opaque, but everyone knows that it’s not Joe Biden making policy or executing these communication points. Biden is a puppet, that is not in question. The majority of his administration staff are from the Obama terms in office; that too is not in question.

The people who were behind Obama appear to be the same people pushing this Biden agenda.

Did the Globalists Just Flinch on Russian Sanctions in Order to Keep Control of Global Climate Change Goals?

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on March 28, 2022

Something odd is happening in the background of the G7 energy ministers’ announcement earlier today.

Remember that moment {HERE} when Canada’s Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland seemed really uncomfortable and weird at the presser – just 36 hours before the Trudeau administration announced they were going to drop the Emergency Act banking sanctions against the truckers? {Go Deep}

Here is an encapsulation of what’s weird, and you don’t have to be an expert in geopolitics and international trade to see it:

The G7 countries (including the U.S.) announced today they were demanding that Russia accept payment for oil and gas in euros and dollars.  This is happening at the same time NATO is demanding (via sanctions) that Russia be blocked from accepting payments in euros and dollars.

Something is weird.  Keep in mind, the same nations in the G7 are the same nations in NATO with the exception of Japan (G7 only).

The only way this conflict could make any sense, is if the G7 energy ministers realize that forcing Russia to trade in non-euros and non-dollars will structurally undermine the G7 unilateral hold of global finance and energy policy.   In essence, the G7 see the non-sanction countries, particularly India and China, lining up to replace the petro-dollar, and that not only weakens their position financially, but it also weakens their climate change position.

Saudi Arabia is not returning phone calls from the Biden administration, and the extended OPEC-plus are not following the sanctions regime of the western NATO alliance.  Which makes sense, because Opec+ includes Russia, and the geopolitical dynamic appears to have fractured around the energy sector, with the western alliance chasing renewable energy and the non-sanction countries staying on course with oil and gas.

The conflicting position toward Russia, insofar as the G7 demands they keep selling using euros/dollars while NATO demands Russia stop receiving euros/dollars, remains brutally stark.  It is a conflicting interest, within the same policies, within the same geopolitical group.

Behind the G7 and NATO, we know the multinational corporations assembled in the World Economic Forum are ultimately the driver of political policy. The central bankers, finance ministers and politicians all operate under the guidelines of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank (WB) and World Trade Organization (WTO).

Together the WEF, IMF, WB, WTO, EU central banks and U.S. federal reserve, collectively represent what we call the globalists.  And the globalists are pushing the climate change agenda hard {WEF LINK}.

The conflicting position, with G7 energy ministers demanding Russia accept payments in Euros/Dollars, can only be reconciled if the globalist crew is worried about the fracturing we have previously discussed. {Go Deep}

However, if the globalist team only just now realized their sanctions have created a cleaving of the world energy trade system using dollars to pay for oil/gas purchases, and by extension this weakens their objective to force everyone to accept climate change objectives, they would be fools.

Something weird is going on here.  I’m not certain what it is, but I am confident something really odd is again happening in the background.

It is always important to remember the ultimate goal of the ‘climate change’ promotors is not an energy system that changes the global climate. The goal of the ‘climate change’ group is to create a carbon trading system; a new financial mechanism (a global tax program) to control human activity on a world-wide basis.  This system also needs a digital identity in order to work.

As a consequence, when we look at the fracturing of the global energy marketplace, it is worth viewing the divided group through the prism of the globalist carbon trading scheme.

My hunch is the demand for Russia to accept payment in euros and dollars is directly connected to the G7 worrying about losing climate change leverage with the non-sanction countries around the issue of energy.   For the globalists, it’s not just the loss of the petro-dollar at stake, it’s losing the accompanying leverage they have to enforce their climate change mission.

That’s the only thing that makes this internal conflict make sense.

We Are in Trouble, White House Journalist Asks Senior WH Official if Farmers Should Change Crops This Year

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on March 28, 2022

There are often questions raised about whether the crises created by the Biden White House policy are incompetence or intentional.  For the group that believes ‘incompetence‘ is behind the chaos, well, they gained a significant data point today.

During a White House press briefing a reporter asks, “My question is about how the White House plans to prepare for food shortages, particularly as it comes to wheat …. should U.S. farmers grow more wheat this year instead of corn and soybeans given the possible food shortages?”

The Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers, Cecilia Rouse, answered” …”farmers respond to price signals. So, with the price of food rising, they will be responding by making additional plantings and trying to take advantage of the increased price signal.  So, the market will work as the market will work.”  Please WATCH 16:32 Prompted

The reporter and the Chair of the CEA seemingly have no idea how long it takes to farm or grow a crop.  As if switching from corn to wheat was just a Monday decision.  Good grief, June/July harvests for winter wheat this year were planted in October of last year.

Changing a crop in the spring for harvest in the summer is not akin to changing your regular order of beverages at Starbucks.

Biden Questioned and Quoted With His Own Words Says, “That Never Happened”

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on March 28, 2022

Credit where credit is due.  The question from Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy was articulate, direct and very well presented.  However, the response from Biden was, well, just unreal gaslighting.

Peter Doocy questions Biden about three recent examples of his statements the White House had to clean up and clarify immediately.  When Biden was confronted with his saying ‘troops were going into Ukraine’, and ‘we will respond in-kind to a chemical weapon attack, and ‘Vladimir Putin has to go’, Joe Biden said those statements never happened.  This is almost unreal.  WATCH:

Germany Says G7 Reject Russia Demand to Pay for Oil and Gas in Rubles, Sort of

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on March 28, 2022

Behind the headline is a qualifier that most will miss. “We will urge the companies affected not to follow Putin’s demand.”  The problem for the G7 political leaders is that most of the transactions are between private companies.  The heads of the U.S, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Canada and the U.K, can stake a position, but the ultimate decision around the transaction in the hands of the private company buyers.

Russia can set the terms.  Whether the G7 political leaders shout ‘breach of contract‘ is seemingly a moot point.  In the big picture, the politicians have already breached the terms of prior trade agreements with sanctions.  Russia can turn off the supply or demand payment in rubles as terms of sale.

BERLIN (AP) — The Group of Seven major economies agreed Monday to reject Moscow’s demand to pay for Russian natural gas exports in rubles.

German energy minister Robert Habeck told reporters that “all G-7 ministers agreed completely that this (would be) a one-sided and clear breach of the existing contracts” for natural gas, which is used to heat homes, generate electricity and power industry.

The energy ministers of France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada, as well as the European Union energy commissioner, met by videoconference and reaffirmed that contracts “must be respected,” with most stipulating payments be in euros or dollars, a G-7 statement said.

“Payment in ruble is not acceptable, and we will urge the companies affected not to follow (Russian President Vladimir) Putin’s demand,” Habeck said. (read more)

It seems odd the G7, who triggered the sanctions to hit Russia with financial damage and block SWIFT currency exchanges, would want to force Russia to accept euros or dollars for purchase.  After all, they didn’t want Russia to have euros and dollars.

Unless, of course, those G7 ministers realize that by not using euros and dollars to trade energy supplies, the value of those currencies will necessarily diminish.

One could look at this demand by the G7 as a larger realization of what might happen downstream if they lose the petro-dollar as a control mechanism.

Are they starting to realize the unintended consequences they and NATO have created?

India and China just made big chess moves by: (1) India agreeing to purchase in rupees/rubles exchange; and (2) Beijing saying they will not adhere to the western sanctions.

It’s shaping up to be G7 -vs- BRICS…

Keep watching.

Chairman Xi Just Made a Big Move, China Announces They Will Keep Purchasing Crude Oil and Gas From Russia

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on March 28, 2022

Joe Biden said the western alliance would target any country that violated the sanctions against Russia.  Specifically, after a lengthy telephone call with Chinese Chairman Xi Jinping on March 18th: “President Biden made clear the implication and consequences of China providing material support, if China were to provide material support to Russia, as it prosecutes brutal war in Ukraine,” the senior administration official said, “not just for China’s relationship with the United States, but for the wider world.” (link)

Today, ten days later, China just called Joe Biden’s bluff.

China announces they will violate the western sanctions and continue to purchase crude oil and gas from Russia.

HONG KONG — Chinese state energy company Sinopec will continue to buy crude oil and gas from Russia, a top executive said on Monday, even as Western democracies step up sanctions in response to the country’s invasion of Ukraine.

The company, known formally as China Petroleum and Chemical, is involved in two major projects in Russia: an oil and gas production joint venture called Taihu in the Volga-Ural petroleum basin in western Russia with state-owned peer Rosneft, and the development of the Amur gas chemical complex and processing plant with Sibur in the Russian Far East, adjoining China.

Sinopec holds a 10% stake in privately owned Sibur.

During his company’s annual results call on Monday, Sinopec President Yu Baocai noted that it bought both crude and gas from Russia last year.

“We will also continue to do so in accordance to commercial principles and international trade regulations in the future with all trading partners in order to develop normal oil and gas trading cooperation,” he said.

Yu provided no figures, but said the buying is in line with the company’s strategy of “diversifying import sources.” Key considerations, he said, include supply types, price, transport costs, tariffs and supply stability.

Referring to Sinopec’s projects in Russia, Yu said that both are “operating stably in general for the time being, and there are no indications of impairment.” (read more)

As far as geopolitical chess is concerned, Chairman Xi just put Joe Biden in ‘check.’

There is no way Joe Biden is going to challenge or confront Xi Jinping directly.  However, the intent of the western alliance to change the landscape of economics, trade and finance for the rest of the world is now directly being tested.   We can also look at this like China testing NATO.

Your move Joe….
