The military provides fodder for the political games. I’m a Vietnam vet and Green Beret Officer and the government has never really cared about the vets. All they really cared about was the VA system and all the government jobs that were created — who voted Democrat and their unions funneled lots of money into the Democrat party — more jobs more campaign money the care never mattered.

Going to war against Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan is one thing with little risk of retaliation against the homeland other than individual terror attacks. No going to war in Syria id a totally different matter as Syria is a client state of Russia and Russia has bases in Syria. A more aggressive presence there will lead to a conflict much like the Cuban Missile Crises during the Kennedy Presidency. Neither Obama nor Hillary are Jack Kennedy and Putin is more than a match for either one. This is not a situation that we want to get into. Trump would never fake a war like President Johnson did or Bush or Obama have done. We need to end this and elect Trump!
