World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab stepped down from his chairman position at the organization on April 20, 2025, amid accusations of fraud. Our computer had forecast that the WEF would enter a declining trend with the 2024 ECM turning point. This staged coup happened about 37 years after the first Davos meeting (8.6 x 4.3). From our model’s perspective, this was right on time. Now, Schwab and the WEF are working to repair ties.

An anonymous whistleblower claimed that Klaus Schwab and his wife collaborated with USAID to steal tens of millions in funding. The whistleblower has always been anonymous, and it remains very suspicious that the very organization he created would turn on him after receiving an anonymous letter that they admitted may not have been credible. Something like this would never be acceptable in any court of law, especially if it’s anonymous. It would be the worst or the worst hearsay, where you cannot even point to who made the allegation.

Back in April, the WEF said its board unanimously supported the decision to initiate an independent investigation “following a whistleblower letter containing allegations against former Chairman Klaus Schwab. This decision was made after consultation with external legal counsel.”

Now, the WEF is attempting to repair its relationship with its founder ahead of the next Davos meeting. Bloomberg reported that the WEF would like to “normalize their relationship [with Klaus Schwab] in order to safeguard the forum and the legacy of the founder.”

Peter Brabeck-Letmathe has replaced Schwab for the time being, but is less of a commanding force. Schwab’s sudden departure has caused instability in the organization and its ongoing mission. Board members are concerned that support for the organization will begin to decline as this situation remains unresolved.

Davos is the Problem

The World Economic Forum’s annual revenue in 2024 was 440 million francs ($543 million), with the majority of proceeds coming from member companies and fees. Yet, the number of people registered to attend the 2025 Davos event is on par if not slightly exceeding the number of participants from the year prior.

WEF Schwab You Will Own Nothing

Schwab’s departure has damaged the Davos brand. There is a possibility that the organization is attempted to rebrand after Agenda 2030 failed. The WEF attempted to move away from its zero tolerance stance on ESG initiatives after they became widely unpopular among the big industry players and shifting governments. The brand has attempted to integrate the importance of digital transformation and AI to remain relevant as the tech gurus grow in power and popularity. Those who are familiar with Klaus Schwab know the phrase, “You will own nothing and be happy.” These words have been widely unpopular and caused a type of sinister chaos to surround the brand that was once respected as the high-brow institution of globalist elites.

European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde was slated to replace Schwab in 2027 when her term ends, and all reports claimed that he was prepared to remain in the chairman role for an additional two years to ensure Lagarde could take his place. What changed seemingly overnight that would cause the organization to discard Schwab before he was due to retire?

Schwab denies any misconduct and filed lawsuits against the whistleblowers, calling the accusations “calumnious” and “unfounded.” He believes “character assassination” was the premise of the claims.

I am no fan of Klaus Schwab, as everyone knows. I disagree with his theories from start to finish. Nevertheless, something doesn’t smell right here. This appears to be an internal coup, perhaps to distract attention from the question of alleged funds for the WEF from USAID, or to try to salvage the failed Agenda 2030. Perhaps they will claim that no misconduct had occurred since DOGE did not raise concerns or there is a possibility that those behind the internal coup are concerned that Schwab’s counter lawsuit could uncover new corruption. The investigation into Schwab has not concluded, but after only three months, the WEF would like to wrap it up. It appears that the WEF does not want to welcome Schwab back; rather, they would like to ensure an amicable resolution to maintain both the brand’s reputation as well as the founder’s.

The Oreshnik Missile

Russia is increasing production of its Oreshnik missile system as NATO pledges an additional $40 billion to Ukraine. The nuclear-capable Oreshnik missile is a powerful system with the capacity to travel 3,415 miles, effectively enabling Russia to strike anywhere in the West from Europe to the United States.

“Serial production of the latest Oreshnik medium-range missile system is under way,” Putin told a graduating class of military cadets in televised comments. The system became operational on November 21, 2024, and used in an attack whereby it carried multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles (MIRV) payload and six warheads that were each capable of releasing submunitions. The first use of the system involved dummy warheads that still caused destruction due to hypersonic kinetic energy. It is widely believed that the first use of the Orsenhnik system was more of a psychological move than an actual strike. In fact, Moscow notified Washington 30 minutes before deploying the missile. Moscow wanted to reveal to the world that it is ready to employ this new lethal technology.

This technology effectively intimidates the West with its long-range capabilities, although Moscow states it is only ramping up production of its mid-range missile system. Moscow needs the West and NATO to know that it has the capacity to attack if cornered. Putin has claimed that this weapon cannot be intercepted and has the capacity to evade missile defense systems. Traveling at 3 km per second, existing defense systems simply would not have the time to act. The Oreshnik can also be controlled mid-flight through aerodynamic control surfaces or gliding warheads, which masks its route. Putin has also stated that this system has the power to ruin underground targets without using nuclear payloads.

It remains to be seen whether the Oreshnik missile system is “impossible to intercept,” as Putin claims. The weight behind the increased production is a clear indicator that Russia is preparing to defend itself against NATO if needed. These weapons would benefit Russia in a global conflict and are not necessarily strategically necessary for its current battle in Ukraine.

The House Oversight Committee has been investigating the autopen scandal under Joe Biden’s opaque presidency. Who was authorizing legislation of the president’s behalf? Neera Tanden, the former director of Biden’s Domestic Policy Council, testified that she received authorization to direct autopen signatures.

Tanden admitted that she did not know who was providing final clearance. In fact, she said she had very limited interaction with Joe Biden directly and never received confirmation on who was providing the final approval to use the automatic signature tool. Members of Biden’s inner circle intercepted memos prior to approval and sent them back to Tanden. Who was at the helm of the decision-making process?

“I just spoke with the House Oversight Committee, Majority and Minority Council. I answered every question, was pleased to discuss my public service and it was a thorough process. And I’m glad I answered everyone’s question,” Tanden told reporters after a five-hour interrogation. She insists that there was no attempt to hide Biden’s mental health, and in fact, his mental health was not largely discussed.

Dr. Kevin O’Connor is due to appear before the committee. O’Connor, Biden’s personal family friend, was responsible for affirming that Joe Biden was mentally “fit for duty.” Dr. O’Connor claimed Joe Biden was a “healthy, active, robust 81-year-old male who remains fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency.” Arthritis and sleep apnea were his only cited medical issues. The validity of his claims came into question when Biden revealed he had suffered from late-stage prostate cancer, a condition that would have been nearly impossible for his personal physician to miss during examinations. Every specialist has affirmed that Joe Biden undoubtedly has had cancer for years, with most stating it takes nine to 10 years for someone to develop this form of aggressive cancer.

They hid Biden’s physical and mental health from the American public. Someone in his inner circle was providing clearance and using Joe Biden’s signature without the approval of the chosen president, completely obliterating any resemblance of a democracy. Jill Biden and others are also set to testify in what may be one of the most disgraceful cover-ups in American history.

Britain Warns Its People Prepare for War

The UK government has warned that the nation must “actively prepare for the possibility of the UK coming under direct threat, potentially in a wartime scenario”, following a tense 12-day war between Iran and Israel, which threatened to spill over at any moment. The UK has also acknowledged, as has the US Department of Homeland Security, that domestic terrorism is likely because of the Iran-Israel War, but also war with Russia. The UK government said that “confrontation with those who are threatening security,” with Russia’s war in Ukraine described as “the most obvious and pressing example of this.” They added “Iranian hostile activity on British soil” is to be expected and that they will attempt to disrupt critical supply lines and energy infrastructure.

Israeli Courts Drag Netanyahu Back into Scrutiny – President Trump Sends Message of Support

The timing of the Israeli judicial system against the backdrop of recent events seems to highlight the accuracy of our prior presentation about the internal political dynamics at play. [Go Deep] and [Go Deep]

According to a message of support sent by President Trump, the Israeli judiciary are now back to targeting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for removal.

We suspect this would not have happened, at least the timing herein, if President Trump had not just executed a bold strategic move to disconnect U.S. interests directly from the interests/influence of the Israeli government.

This response from the Israeli deep state is in alignment with our expectation.

Emissary Steve Witkoff Discusses Next Steps with Iran and Expansion of the Abraham Accords

Presidential envoy Steve Witkoff deserves a great deal of credit for what followed in the aftermath of President Trump’s final elimination of the Iranian nuclear threat.  Throughout the 12-day war, Witkoff maintained a diplomatic connection to the Iranian delegation in order to position a ceasefire upon conclusion.

The Trump administration is now taking a more firm stance toward who in Iran they will accept negotiations with.  As noted by Secretary Rubio, the use of intermediaries has exhausted its usefulness.  While Qatar may play a role as an interlocutor to bridge the two sides, the time has come for direct face-to-face discussions with Iranian officials.

With the potential of a peace agreement and increased stability throughout the region, there is an opportunity for an expanded investment and economic zone throughout the middle east, not just in Iran.  As CTH noted regarding the threat to close the Strait of Hormuz, technically it is not the Iranian government who closes the strait, but rather the maritime insurance companies who refuse to underwrite an enlarged risk.  The same concept applies when the absence of conflict becomes the norm.  Steve Witkoff draws attention to this background context within his remarks.

An ancillary benefit in the Russia-Ukraine conflict comes from a very public display of FAFO outcomes.  None of the principle characters within NATO, the EU, the U.K nor Ukraine or Russia want to face the Godzilla FAFO strategy that President Trump is willing to deploy.

The reason why the NATO partners responded with great deference to President Trump in the Netherlands is no global observer wants to face Godzilla in FAFO mode, militarily or economically.  Even before the dust settled from 70 tons of massive ordnance detonation deep underground in Iran the leaders of the world knew things would be different now.

How different?  We saw the outcome at the Hague.

He flew eight B-2 stealth bombers halfway around the world, undetected into Iran in the middle of the night and dropped 70 tons of high explosive deep underground into hardened nuclear sites, with another ten tons on another upstream site just for good measure….  Then turned them around, brought them home safely and brokered a ceasefire before bed.

Vice-President Vance and Secretary Hegseth Confront an Incurious, Manipulative and Deceitful Intelligence Community Media Operation

I’m just going to outline this post as it is framed by Vice President JD Vance without anything…

JD Vance – “This is such a revealing clip. The American media is full of the least curious, least insightful people in our country.

To recap, an out of context, “low confidence” and incomplete intelligence report was selectively leaked to the media. The media reported on the findings without any real effort to figure out whether they represent any part of (much less the full) truth. The way the media has presented the report is contradicted by the IAEA, the Iranians themselves, and the administration’s political and defense leadership. More importantly, the media’s reports are contradicted by common sense.

[Vance, cont…] “To summarize: a dozen 30,000-pound bunker busters were dropped on Iran’s main nuclear site. (The other two sites that were targeted suffered heavy damage too). No one disputes they hit their targets. No one disputes the explosive or destructive power of the weapons. No one disputes that a week ago, Iran could have easily assembled a nuclear weapon and now they can’t.

The entire debate–even accepting the press’s dishonest framing–is not about whether Iran can now build a nuke. They can’t. It’s about how much rebuilding the Iranians would have to do in order to achieve a nuclear weapon. In other words, after a wildly successful military operation with no American casualties, the American media is trying to blame Donald Trump for the existence of facilities *that haven’t even been built yet.*

(Set to the side Iran’s willingness to rebuild their program. As the President himself said, they now know there are serious consequences for rebuilding. They also learned that we can very easily set their progress back.)

There is actually an interesting story here, if the media was interested in telling it. Why are members of the intelligence community leaking incomplete reports against the elected leadership of the country? Why have the same reporters who have gotten so much wrong learned so little? What is the purpose of these leaks–who is behind them, and what are they trying to achieve?

The media won’t investigate that story, though it would be in the public interest to do so. So pay attention to the reporters who are laundering talking points from junior careerists in the intelligence community.
