Back in March 12, 2013, James Clapper committed perjury before Congress for which anyone else would go to prison for 5 years. He did not flinch at denying that the NSA was collecting data on Americans. The record showed:
“Does the NSA collect any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans?”

The stunning testimony at this time is that anyone takes Clapper at his word. He is professionally trained liar, but besides that, he is really grasping at straws. Clapper said the Russian government’s interference with the U.S. election went far beyond the highly publicized hacks of Democratic email accounts. He testified saying that was just one part of a multilayered campaign of propaganda and deception, and his description would equally apply to the American press.
Clapper, who has said he will resign because he would be fired anyway, said Moscow interfered with U.S. institutions. He has now provided hardcore solid evidence of Russia’s involvement in trying to influence the election and said that was classified and he gave a report to Obama on the Russian interference and other foreign attempts of influence in the U.S. election. Clapper said next week he will release an unclassified version to the public. He then claimed that Russia poses a major threat to U.S. government, military, diplomatic and commercial operations.
Clapper used as evidence that RT, funded by the Kremlin, “was very very active in promoting a particular point of view, disparaging our system.” This is his evidence of going far beyond the hacking. But RT is not widely viewed and any real influence on the elections is really doubtful. This is no different from the mainstream media endorsing Hillary and 77% disparaging Trump.
The bottom line is blunt and very clear. There are NO ALLEGATIONS that Russia hacked the Democrats and altered the emails. That means that the emails of Podesta were true. Therefore, no influence of Russia could have been accomplished had the Democrats been honest to begin with. All of this crisis is because the Democrats got caught. If this was a leak by an American, he would be hailed as a hero. They are attacking the messenger – NOT THE MESSAGE.
