Retired Four Star Admiral Arrested for Bribery

(VIA DOJ – May 31, 2024) – […] As alleged in an indictment unsealed today, from 2020 to 2022, Robert Burke, 62, of Coconut Creek, Florida, was a four-star Admiral who oversaw Naval operations in Europe, Russia, and most of Africa, and commanded thousands of civilian and military personnel.

Yongchul “Charlie” Kim and Meghan Messenger, both of New York, are the co-CEOs of a company (Company A) that provided a workforce training pilot program to a small component of the Navy from August 2018 through July 2019. The Navy terminated a contract with Company A in late 2019 and directed Company A not to contact Burke.

Despite the Navy’s instructions, Kim and Messenger then allegedly met with Burke in Washington, D.C., in July 2021 in an effort to reestablish Company A’s business relationship with the Navy. At the meeting, the charged defendants allegedly agreed that Burke would use his position as a Navy Admiral to steer a sole-source contract to Company A in exchange for future employment at the company. They allegedly further agreed that Burke would use his official position to influence other Navy officers to award another contract to Company A to train a large portion of the Navy with a value Kim allegedly estimated to be “triple digit millions.”

In furtherance of the conspiracy, in December 2021, Burke allegedly ordered his staff to award a $355,000 contract to Company A to train personnel under Burke’s command in Italy and Spain. Company A performed the training in January 2022. Thereafter, Burke allegedly promoted Company A in a failed effort to convince a senior Navy Admiral to award another contract to Company A.

To conceal the scheme, Burke allegedly made several false and misleading statements to the Navy, including by creating the false appearance that Burke played no role in issuing the contract and falsely implying that Company A’s employment discussions with Burke only began months after the contract was awarded.

In October 2022, Burke began working at Company A at a yearly starting salary of $500,000 and a grant of 100,000 stock options. (read more)

Pentagon: $6.2 BILLION in Ukraine Aid Missing Due to Accounting Error

Armstrong Economics Blog/Corruption Re-Posted Jun 22, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

The nation was distracted by the 24/7 news coverage about the submarine that went missing while cruising around to see the Titanic. It seems that there is always a big news story put forth on days when undesirable information is released. We know the entire conflict in Ukraine was planned many years ago (see: “The Plot to Seize Russia”). We know that Biden is in bed with Ukraine – bought and paid for. Now, the Pentagon is admitting that “due to accounting errors” they LOST $6.2 BILLION!

Did the money go to contractors? Politicians? Ukraine? The government refuses to say. Deputy Pentagon press secretary Sabrina Singh explained that they originally thought $3 billion went missing, but the figure they are admitting to the public is closer to $6.2 billion. “We have confirmed that for FY23, the final calculation is $3.6 billion, and for FY22 it is $2.6 billion, for a combined total of $6.2 billion,” Singh said. “These valuation errors in no way limit or restricted the size of any of our PDAs or impacted the provision of support to Ukraine,” she added, as if taxpayers think that we aren’t doing enough for a foreign nation when America is a desperate state.

Everyone should be outraged. That is a HUGE sum of money that this indebted nation cannot afford to misplace. This entire situation reeks of corruption. If this happened under Trump, there would be a never-ending investigation from every angle. If you or I paid a penny less on our taxes, they would hunt us down with the full force of the law. That money was taken from hardworking Americans who pay their taxes. No taxation without representation is a faraway dream. WE DESERVE ANSWERS.

A Kennedy to Challenge Biden in 2024

Robert F. Kennedy Jr, a moderate by the Democrat’s standards, has filed to run for president against Joe Biden. JFK’s nephew broke party lines when he began to speak out against vaccinations. He even wrote a book in 2021 entitled, “The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health (Children’s Health Defense).”

Many Democrats are outraged and have called Kennedy an undercover Republican. His own wife, a popular actress in Hollywoo(D), publicly stated that she does not support her husband’s views. “My husband’s opinions are not a reflection of my own. While we love each other, we differ on many current issues,” she stated. If you can’t win the support of your own family, it won’t be easy to convince the majority of the nation to vote in your favor. His sister Kerry who runs the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights group, has also publicly voiced her opposition to her brother, calling his ideas “dangerous.” Some believe he is a nepotism candidate who has succeeded as a result of his last name.

“If I run, my top priority will be to end the corrupt merger between state and corporate power that has ruined our economy, shattered the middle class, polluted our landscapes and waters, poisoned our children, and robbed us of our values and freedoms. Together we can restore America’s democracy,” he stated before announcing his bid.

Anyone is better than Joe Biden, but his mental impedance makes him the ideal puppet for the Deep State since he cannot form his own thoughts. Kennedy’s views do not align with the Democrat’s agenda and he will struggle to find support from the DNC. A Democrat who opposed the COVID power grab is unheard of. Still, Biden struggles to speak coherently and his people are decreasing his public speaking engagements to hide his mental incompetence. The 2024 US Presidential Election will be an absolute fiasco if it is even permitted to take place.

I Want to Report A Possible Correction

Armstrong Economics Blog/Correction Re-Posted Mar 1, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

COMMENT: Marty,

Regarding the article referencing recent firings of Air Force commanders, I hate to report that you received bad info on this particular incident.

The two-star general is … at Barksdale AFB; …  they were relieved had absolutely zero to do with objections or insubordination to the President. Let’s just say it has everything to do with that unit’s ability to execute a mission only the President can order.

You know I’ve been a longtime reader and fondly remember shaking your hand in Philadelphia back in 2013, so I feel compelled to correct the record when the topic hits so close to home.

Keep up the great work! All the best,
