For his weekly monologue today, U.K pundit Neil Oliver looks at the climate change agenda, energy policy, and the constructs of how the new green agenda manifest to create new ways for people to die.
We aren’t allowed the energy available from a century of gas beneath our feet here in Britain – because it’s not Green. But we’re paying top dollar for nine billion cubic litres – twice as much as last year’s order – of gas fracked out of the ground in the US. WATCH:
[Transcript] -Winter arrived last week – and with it a dose of reality. All that talk about wrapping up warm in the house, putting on an extra jumper, hot water bottles, full-size onesies – it’s dangerous nonsense. It might be fine for a while if you’re a healthy adult – but it’s a tragedy in slow motion for babies, young children, the elderly, the sick.
And it’s only the second week in December. It’s a long time until Spring.
Even if layering up and donning a hat were enough to keep a body going, once cold properly gets a grip of a house, it too starts to die in its own way.
The creep of dampness that takes its own toll on house and health alike. Frozen pipes – followed by burst pipes – and not enough plumbers to go round. People who can’t afford to heat their homes are likely struggling with spiking food bills as well.
All of this in a first world country that was home to the industrial revolution that changed the world for the better and lifted billions out of poverty. Now the grannies saved by locking down the world until its heart stopped beating, are sitting down to die alone of cold and hunger. It’s amazing how inventive the Establishment has proven to be in coming up with ways to invite the elderly to die miserable lonely deaths.
Our so-called leaders tell us all of it is a price worth paying – by which they mean worth paying by us, the little people. All the decisions are being made by those who have no intention whatever of spending so much as five minutes in an unheated home. Turn up the thermostat and fill out the expenses claim – that’s the order of the day for our elected representatives.
All around them are those that can’t afford to heat their own homes but are forced to subsidise the warmth of the sociopaths that put us here with their hubris and eco-vanity.
Regardless of what nonsense they spout about the causes – Putin, climate, whatever – at least know that the misery here now and that lies ahead for millions is entirely the consequence of decades of wilful destruction in the name of saving the world. A Green agenda that absolutely is not green.
Where we are now is entirely the consequence of politicians competing with one another to see which of them can take the title of world’s most psychopathic hypocrite. We aren’t allowed the energy available from a century of gas beneath our feet here in Britain – because it’s not Green.

A report published by Lancet reminded the world that around five million people die every year on account of climate extremes.
Of those deaths, 4.5 million are caused by cold compared to five hundred thousand attributed to heat. In our time on this planet, an interglacial between ice ages, it is always the cold that is far more of a deadly threat to human life – ten or 20 times as deadly.
And yet still the priests of the new religion of climate fear preach that we must cool the world.
You’ve probably heard that 97 per cent of scientists are agreed that humans are the cause of climate change. It comes from research carried out in 2013.
Do you know how that team obtained that number?
They gathered nearly 12,000 scientific papers dealing with global climate change. They didn’t read the papers – heavens no, that would have been proper research – instead they looked at just the summary paragraphs on the front covers.
On that basis they grouped them into four piles. 3,896 papers agreed humans were to blame for climate change; 7,930 took no position either way; 78 rejected the idea of it being humanity’s fault and 40 were uncertain altogether.
That initial pass gave a figure of just 32 percent blaming humans for climate change. Obviously, that wasn’t nearly scary enough. So then came the gross and clumsy cheat: the 7,930 papers that took no position on whether humans are to blame were removed from the final analysis.
With them gone, the figure of 32 percent went up to 97 per cent. And the likes of Barack Obama and Al Gore have been quoting it ever since.
If my interpretation is correct, this is the kind of deliberate tampering with evidence that underpins the Net Zero madness that is being pursued by the zealots running our countries, or rather ruining our countries.
In a book published in 1997, physicist Carl Sagan wrote the following:
“We’ve arranged a global civilisation in which most crucial elements – transportation, communications, and all other industries, agriculture, medicine, education, entertainment, protecting the environment, and even the key democratic institution of voting – profoundly depend on science and technology.
“We have also arranged things so that almost no one understands science and technology. This is a prescription for disaster. We might get away with it for a while, but sooner or later this combustible mixture of ignorance and power is going to blow up in our faces.”
In this context, it’s our leaders who either fail to understand science and just parrot whatever propaganda lands in their inbox each day – or they do understand and they’re lying. Either way, it’s the prescription for disaster predicted by Sagan.
Remember a few months back when a few hot days in a row occasioned yet more fear porn about imminent climate catastrophe? Now the temperature is below zero and all we hear is cheery twaddle about clear blue skies and hopes for a white Christmas.
For anyone still concerned, I’m here to tell you the polar bears are doing fine – I’m told numbers are on the up as never before and the ice in Antarctica is getting thicker every day.
And if one more tv presenter waxes lyrical about the joys of one-pot meals and watching telly while wrapped in a duvet …. Where is the outrage on behalf of millions who can’t afford to turn on one radiator in one room? In a country where centuries worth of energy lies beneath our feet.
Putin didn’t order the West to put him in control of the energy required to keep the lights on in Europe. Everyone used to go cap in hand to Russia. Europe’s leaders outsourced energy production so they could crow about cutting emissions at home.
Agenda 2030 – Net Zero – is a second Titanic – and this time the whole world’s being herded aboard like cattle. The passengers on the original Titanic had no way of knowing what lay ahead for them in the North Atlantic.
This time around though, millions of people who could and should know better – who have no excuse now for not knowing – who could and should have realised long ago that they were being lured and lied towards disaster – are actually buying tickets for the ride on Agenda 2030 … a ship of fools. 1,500 people were lost when Titanic went to the bottom. This time it’s the lives of billions.
I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it. What lies beneath all the madness that is keeping so many millions of people perpetually on edge … knowing … just knowing that something, somewhere has gone very badly wrong … is an attack on humanity itself. This fact above all others must be understood.
We are described as useless people; we need to accept smaller, colder, hungrier lives; we should swap beef and chicken for beetles and worms.
And if you’re white you’re the product of original sin – bad from birth and owing creation itself an apology just for being here.
Last year in Canada, 10,000 people died by euthanasia – three per cent of all deaths in the country
A disabled veteran and former Paralympian – retired corporal Christine Gauthier, says she was offered euthanasia instead of waiting any longer to have a stairlift fitted in her home. After years of asking, Gauthier was told by a health worker:
“Madam, if you’re really so desperate, we can give you medical assistance in dying now.”
She only wanted a stairlift! Canada’s euthanasia programmed is soon to grow wider. Next year there are plans to offer death to people who are mentally ill – which hardly bodes well for the clinically depressed. Plans are underway to help under-18s die too, if they want to.
Human life is being devalued as easily as our currencies.
Last week there was yet another variation on the theme of stripping us of more of what it has meant to be human and alive. Also lurking under the darkening umbrella of Agenda 2030 is climate lockdown. It’s here already in the form of the 15-minute city.
In Britain the scam-scheme is being rolled out first in Oxford. Everyone will be confined to one of six ghettos inside which they might live out their lives on foot, or perhaps by bike. The Labour/Liberal/Green council responsible says it will go ahead whether people like it or not.
Every resident must register their car with the council, which will use number recognition cameras to monitor their movements around the clock.
Anyone driving out of their designated ghetto more than 100 times a year will be fined. This is about one agenda and one agenda only – keeping people apart … increasing the atomisation of society, the deliberate division of people into smaller and smaller dependent units.
This outrage proposed in Oxford is the tip of an iceberg. Because we humans, we useless people, we hackable animals, are so sub-optimal, so contemptible in the eyes of our self-appointed superiors, we must be watched at all times. It’s not just in Oxford.
In every city there are cameras monitoring everyone’s every move. Forget the nonsense of the 15-minute city, it is simply and plainly the bars of the cage of climate lockdown. Covid ran out of steam and so the next excuse for total control is the weather.
Here in Britain, it starts in Oxford, but the 15-minute-city nonsense is already all over the word. Plans are in place for London, for Paris, for Milan, for Krakow in Poland and in scores more places besides. In Melbourne, Zero Covid zealot Dan Andrews, the premier recently re-elected by those in favor of seeing fellow citizens brutalized in the street by black-clad storm troopers, waxes lyrical about a 20-minute-city.
Don’t bother with the details, remember just one word: lockdown. A word that came from prison parlance is now all around us. The excuse keeps changing … but lockdown remains the same.
What should we do? For a start we can stay awake – and not be distracted by bread and circuses. Ignore the self-pitying of Royal narcissists, for a start, and pay attention instead to better examples by far.
Remember those who stood up AGAINST totalitarians, against those who despised fellow human beings and would take away their rights and their lives.
Last week we lost squadron leader George “Johnny Johnson”, last surviving member of the Dambusters raid.
He was born into relative poverty. He lost his mum when he was three. His dad was less than kind to him, to put it mildly. He was mostly raised by his big sister.
He volunteered for service in the second world war and eventually made his way into 617 squadron, the Dambusters.
He was married and raised three children. After the war he was a teacher, in primary schools and then helping patients at Rampton Psychiatric Hospital. He served as a local councilor.
He was a warrior, a teacher, and a public servant – in that order. He was a husband and father.
Given a choice between multi-millionaire self-obsessed, self-publicists and self-serving politicians and a selfless man like Squadron Leader George Johnny Johnson, MBE, Distinguished Flying Medal. I know who I’d stand beside.
Here’s the thing: we’re being constantly goaded to see our own species, this human race, as the source of all ills. I say we are not. The technocrats and authoritarians want to treat us like lab rats. It is time we all got up on our hind legs and remembered what we are truly capable of. (LINK)

… Both were targets of the U.S. government’s use of Twitter and social media to manipulate election outcomes.
While current conservative headlines are filled with discussion surrounding revelations of Twitter being used by U.S. government officials to control and manipulate public opinion, it is worthwhile reminding everyone how this process was first triggered – and then look at how the intelligence community applied the lessons to the USA in 2020.
The Obama administration first created the public-private partnership with Twitter and Facebook to support the “Arab Spring” uprising. As a consequence, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak was the first elected official to be taken out by former President Obama’s deployment of Twitter as a community activist tool for revolution in 2011. In direct and consequential ways, Egypt was the BETA test for a process that surface a decade later in the United States during the 2020 election.
Using and influencing social media was a tool created by the Obama state department, as noted years ago in Mic.Com:
[…] In countries like Egypt, Tunisia, and Yemen, rising action plans such as protests made up of thousands, have been organized through social media such Facebook and Twitter. “We use Facebook to schedule the protests” an Arab Spring activist from Egypt announced “and [we use] Twitter to coordinate, and YouTube to tell the world.” The role that technology has taken in allowing the distribution of public information such as the kinds stated by the aforementioned activist, had been essential in establishing the democratic movement that has helped guide abused civilians to overthrow their oppressor. (NationalPulse) The most popular Twitter hashtags in the Arab region in the first three months of this year were “Egypt”, “Jan25”, “Libya”, “Bahrain” and “protest”.
Nearly 9 in 10 Egyptians and Tunisians surveyed in March said they were using Facebook to organise protests or spread awareness about them. All but one of the protests called for on Facebook ended up coming to life on the streets.
These and other findings from the newly released second edition of the Arab Social Media Report by the Dubai School of Government give empirical heft to the conventional wisdom that Facebook and Twitter abetted if not enabled the historic region-wide uprisings of early 2011. (link)
Fast forward to 2020, and those same elements deployed against the Egyptian government were deployed in the United States in a coordinated public-private partnership with Twitter, Facebook and social media.
The U.S. government control over these social media platforms is ultimately what lies at the heart of the latest Twitter Files release.
Within the Twitter file release, you will find Twitter’s lead censor, Yoel Roth, meeting with an official from the U.S. Dept of National Intelligence (DNI). From the testimony of FBI Special Agent Elvis Chan, we know that official was Shelby Pierson. Chan was speaking under oath in an ongoing first amendment lawsuit against the Biden administration for manipulating and censoring speech on social media.
To see the connective tissue between the events in 2011 (Egypt) and the events a decade later in 2020 (USA), it is worth noting a discussion that took place in early 2020 between Shelby Pierson and former CIA Director Mike Morell.
Mike Morell was made CIA Director after General Petraeus was removed in 2012 by then DNI James Clapper at the behest of President Obama. With his new position, Mike Morell was the Obama official who gave testimony to congress about CIA operations in/around the Libyan Benghazi compound attack on 9/11/11. Morell was put into this position to protect Hillary Clinton and President Obama for the crisis they created in Libya, the covert arms sales to Libya, and ultimately the Benghazi attack that stemmed from State Dept and CIA efforts to retrieve those illegal weapons.
During the 2016 Presidential election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, Mike Morell was a key voice helping to frame the narrative that Russia was planning to interfere in the election. Morell, no longer in government and working for Clinton, was another 2016 vector seeding the Trump-Russia narrative to the media while Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele worked outside sending various files to FBI allies to assist the fraudulent framework.
Mike Morell is a key Clinton/Obama loyalist and tool of the national security state. Morell is now a CBS intelligence analyst and contributor.
Back to Shelby Pierson…. In early January 2020 Ms. Pierson and Mr Morell were discussing the upcoming presidential election from the perspective of how the U.S. Intelligence Community would be engaged. Emphasis mine:

Keep in mind, Shelby Pierson is the key official from the ODNI office, talking to FBI liaison Elvis Chan about frameworks for social media censorship and the specific needs of the U.S. government in October 2020. At the same time, it is Shelby Pierson who is coordinating withe Twitter Executive Yoel Roth.
I urge readers to read the full CBS transcript above get a sense Ms. Pierson from the context of her conversation with fellow traveler Mike Morell in January 2020.

February 23, 2020 – […] Sending shockwaves through the intelligence community, it was reported yesterday that newly appointed Acting DNI Richard “Ric” Grenell asked the intelligence community, specifically including Shelby Pierson, to produce the underlying intelligence within the briefing she gave to the House Intelligence Committee.
Well, what do you know…. All of a sudden today, anonymous intelligence officials are reporting to CNN that Ms. Pierson “overstepped” her position, was “misleading” in her briefing, and “mischaracterized” the underlying intelligence. Imagine that.
Washington (CNN)-The US intelligence community’s top election security official appears to have overstated the intelligence community’s formal assessment of Russian interference in the 2020 election, omitting important nuance during a briefing with lawmakers earlier this month, three national security officials told CNN.
The official, Shelby Pierson, told lawmakers on the House Intelligence Committee that Russia is interfering in the 2020 election with the goal of helping President Donald Trump get reelected.
[…] “The intelligence doesn’t say that,” one senior national security official told CNN. “A more reasonable interpretation of the intelligence is not that they have a preference, it’s a step short of that.
[…] One intelligence official said that Pierson’s characterization of the intelligence was “misleading” and a national security official said Pierson failed to provide the “nuance” needed to accurately convey the US intelligence conclusions.
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, where Pierson is a senior official, did not respond to CNN’s request for comment. (more)
Why would Shelby Pierson and Joseph Maguire intentionally blindside the White House?
The briefing was obviously spun by HPSCI Chairman Adam Schiff and democrats on the House intel committee; and there was no intelligence presented during the briefing to support the claims made by Pierson, Democrats and media. (2020 LINK)
What you see now surfacing is evidence of the framework of 2020 election manipulation from the DNI office. That government manipulation later manifests in the public-private partnership between the U.S. government and Twitter, as highlighted in the releases of the Twitter files.
One note of caution. I will draw attention to a very similar framework now rolling out with the Twitter File releases that we saw in the John Durham investigation. Notice how both Bari Weiss and Matt Taibbi are drawing attention to the Twitter executives, but NOT drawing any attention to the government officials. This does not appear to be coincidental.
Bari Weiss could have easily identified the head of the Twitter head of the “Strategic Response Team” an intelligence official named Jeff Carlton. She didn’t. Similarly, Matt Taibbi could have identified the official from the DNI office in contact with Twitter executive Yoel Roth, ODNI official Shelby Pierson. He didn’t.
Just as John Durham structured his public investigative releases to cast the unlawful shadow on only those people outside government, so too is Weiss and Taibbi structuring their public reviews of the Twitter files to draw attention only to the Twitter executives outside government.
The officials from the U.S. government, who are transmitting through the DHS portal to Twitter, are not being named and identified, why not?
From Taibbi and Weiss and Taibbi again, we are getting an outline of actions taken by Twitter officials, but we are still blind to how the information, requests and demands come into Twitter from the U.S. government, and who specifically is sending them.

Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema has courageously announced today that she has left the Democratic Party and has registered as an independent. What is so impressive is that she is calling out the absolute corruption in our political system. She stated that she was abandoning the Democratic Party and turning her back on the “broken partisan system in Washington” that prioritizes denying the opposition party a win rather than “delivering for all Americans.”
This is precisely what I warned at the WEC. It no longer matters what anyone says that they stand for in either party. When they get to DC, they are told they will vote however the Party tells them to vote. You can run for or against Abortion or save the whales. When you get there, all that means nothing.
She is absolutely correct and this is the very reason the United States is collapsing. When Biden came to office, he went out of his way to reverse everything Trump did regardless if it was correct or not. Washington has simply become a political war where one side must vote against whatever the other wants. This has degenerated into simply war and it is no longer about the people or the country. It is about voting against whatever the opposition wants.
We need to return to this spirit of independence where a candidate actually does what they claim they stand for. As it is right now, all we have is a bunch of monkeys who need no brains and never have to do what they say they stand for because they just raise their hand when told to do so. We need to return to real Independents who will vote for what they actually run for.

Twitter File Release #3 come from Matt Taibbi – SEE HERE – and includes a review of some internal documents and internal communication in the lead up to the 2020 election.
As noted by Taibbi, “as the election approached, senior executives – perhaps under pressure from federal agencies, with whom they met more as time progressed – increasingly struggled with rules and began to speak of “vios” as pretexts to do what they’d likely have done anyway.”
“Vios” is a short-hand term for violations.
Internal Slacks, communication chats within the organization, show Twitter executives discussing various relationships with federal agencies, specifically the Dept of Homeland Security (DHS), various elements of the FBI and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, ODNI. Twitter’s main censor Yoel Roth plays a key role in the discussion. Mr. Roth organized many of the communication chats that surrounded the election.
The slacks (communication chats) contain channels to create sub-sets of topics with smaller groups of internal officers assembled to prioritize the discussion.
The reports being cited by Taibbi are, “based on searches for docs linked to prominent executives, whose names are already public. They include Roth, former trust and policy chief Vijaya Gadde, and recently plank-walked Deputy General Counsel (and former top FBI lawyer) Jim Baker.” … “On October 8th, 2020, executives opened a channel called “us2020_xfn_enforcement.” Through J6, this would be home for discussions about election-related removals, especially ones that involved “high-profile” accounts (often called “VITs” or “Very Important Tweeters”).”
There was internal discussion about how they should describe their contact with federal agencies who were involved in the process of filtering the public discussion. Essentially, what were these Twitter executives going to say about how they are coordinating with DHS, FBI and ODNI? Policy Director Nick Pickles, eventually led a discussion to label the government contacts in the generalized term “partnerships.”
Twitter was partnered with the FBI, DHS and DNI to control the content of the platform. Using existing portals to communicate, various government officials within these agencies (and others) could send instructions to the Twitter team, and action would be taken based on a review of the government concern.
Taibbi draws attention to an internal chat on an UNKNOWN DATE showing Yoel Roth meeting with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. However, Taibbi doesn’t identify who from the ODNI was meeting with Mr Yoel Roth:
However, thankfully from depositions related to the Missouri and Louisiana AG lawsuits, specifically about censorship on social media, within the deposition of San Francisco FBI Agent Elvis Chan [Page, 255 – Transcript], the ODNI official was a woman named Shelby Pierson.
Given the fact that DNI John Ratcliffe was publicly saying the Hunter Biden laptop story did not come from hacked information, and the Hunter Biden laptop information appeared to be genuine according to his office, we can assume Ms. Shelby Pierson was telling Twitter (via Yoel), that their decision to censor the New York Post article based on hacked material, was not valid.
However, it is also likely true Ms. Shelby Pierson was not communicating the Twitter meetings with Yoel Roth to her boss, DNI John Ratcliffe. So, willful blindness might be applied to her end of the conversations.
The rest of the Twitter Release #3 is essentially a walkthrough of instances where the Twitter filter team were engaged in controlling the public conversation as the election was getting ever closer. They focused heavily on the Twitter account of President Donald Trump and applied internal flags and various control mechanisms to his content in order to control distribution.
Yes, the Twitter executives were censoring the President of the United States. And they were quite happy with their ability to do it. READ THE RELEASE HERE
Shifting focus, again the issue who is controlling the released materials becomes important. How are these journalists getting the information? Who is giving it to them? Who is doing the redaction of the files? Are these zip files from preselected material that are then given to Weiss, Taibbi etc? So many questions.
The basics of how this information is surfacing has not been explained except for Taibbi saying, “the reality is the data sets are enormous and we’re still working through them.” Something about this just is not feeling right. I am not the wisest person I know, far from it, but I am wise enough to know to ask questions about the source material before giving any credibility to any narrative that is coming from the voices sharing the material.
Additionally, Elon Musk stated last night that Twitter was going to roll out software to allow current users to see if any of these internal mechanisms are being used against them. “Twitter is working on a software update that will show your true account status, so you know clearly if you’ve been shadowbanned, the reason why and how to appeal” (link). This seems silly.
Why not just get rid of the functionality of a system that Twitter previously denied they created. Instead of getting rid of the filtration and control mechanisms, Elon Musk is developing software to show users if the filtration and control mechanisms have been deployed against them.
The only way it makes sense to retain a corrupt system they previously denied ever using, is if various interests (agencies, governments, influence types) are requiring the platform to retain the ability of throttling information they deem adverse to their interests. If that is indeed the case, then Elon Musk should say that.
Something akin to, ‘free speech Twitter doesn’t want the ability to control your reach and engagement, but the stakeholders of Twitter are requiring we retain it’. In lieu of not being able to disable the flagging and information control system, we are going to provide users with the ability to see if they have been flagged and controlled. Is that what Elon Musk is essentially saying?
We keep watching…. In the interim, at least our suspicions of DHS, FBI and ODNI control and influence over Twitter are no longer conspiracy theories to be dismissed. It looks like everything CTH has ever postulated about the platform is coming to light as true… So, that’s a good thing.
I have yet to see a single data point from any release that runs counter to the basic outline, in the background of Twitter you find DHS.
DHS has been in ever increasing control of Twitter since the public-private partnership was formed in 2011/2012 (Arab Spring deployment). However, it’s not just Twitter. The same fundamental intelligence relationships are now at work within Google, Microsoft, Apple, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.
The larger objective of U.S. involvement in social media has always been monitoring and surveillance of the public conversation, and then ultimately controlling and influencing public opinion.

When it comes to congress and the graft that is Ukraine, nothing should come as a surprise. Last month, the Biden administration asked Congress for another $37.7 billion in support for Ukraine. If that passes, and it certainly will, Congress will have approved more than $100 billion in Ukraine-related spending.
To wit, yesterday congress slipped Ukraine Debt Payment Relief, into the 4,400 page National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which will make the Senate happy as the intent of the upper chamber is to continue the laundry operation.
(Via Fox News) – The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for fiscal year 2023 passed the House Thursday afternoon in a 350-80 vote. Included in that 4,400-page bill is a section on “Ukraine Debt Payment Relief.”
That section says the U.S. treasury secretary will instruct U.S. representatives of international financial institutions to “use the voice, vote, and influence of the United States to advocate that the respective institution immediately provide appropriate debt service relief to Ukraine.”
It instructs Treasury to commence “immediate efforts” with other governments and commercial creditors to “pursue comprehensive debt payment relief for Ukraine.”
The language talks only about debt payment relief, and not forgiveness of the assistance given to Ukraine this year to defend itself from to Russia’s invasion. (read more)
