6th Grader Lauren Arrington Shows Curiosity is Everything Re-Posted Nov 13, 2023 By Martin Armstrong

Einsteing Curiosity

I have told the story before that when I was doing my reach early on at Princeton University’s Firestone Library, I became friends with a professor who had known Einstein who taught there. He said to me that I reminded him of Einstein. I was shocked because I was not making new theories in Physics. He explained that the subject matter did not matter. It was my curiosity in trying to figure out how empires rose and fell that inspired me.

He said that Einstein always said we will discover nothing unless we are curious. I came to understand that was the very reason Communism collapsed. They tried to eliminate the business cycle under Marxism and, in the process, reduce humanity to zombie drones denied free thought and stripped of curiosity. Thus, Communism fell by its own weight. There are those spreading the same nonsense that always begins with “equality” and the great divide in wealth. If we all have the same wealth, you destroy the very essential element of how society advances through the ages.

1903 first Ford

In all my studies, that statement to me about curiosity opened the door to understanding how society advances and declines. Schumpeter saw the boom and bust of the economy as waves of creative destruction. The invention of the combustion engine and the car’s development destroyed the horse and buggy industry, allowing the suburbs around cities to expand. This is Henry Ford in his first car, built in 1903. If it were not for his curiosity, we would have been in 15-minute cities riding our chariots through the streets, and the climate zealots would be arguing to kill all the horses for they are causing climate change as if the climate is supposed to never change.

Lauren Arrington

A Florida sixth grader, Lauren Arrington, has leaped into scientific fame with a startling discovery that could redefine our approach to invasive lionfish. She caught one in freshwater, where it was not supposed to survive. She conducted her own experiment, gradually reducing the salt in the water, and the fish survived. This has been a groundbreaking discovery that demonstrates how important curiosity truly is. We will discover NOTHING without it.

Encourage your children always to be curious.

That is the key to how society advances in the business cycle. Everything depends on it.

Congratulations Lauren. You will go far in life. Retain that Curiosity no matter what.

We Desperately will need it in this world of Equality.

Interview: Gold and the Dollar will Rise Together Re-Posted Nov 5, 2023 By Martin Armstrong

Watch the video above or click here to watch my latest interview with Goldseek Radio.

Head of Armstrong Economics, Martin Armstrong, outlines his gold market projections in lieu of unraveling geopolitical conditions.

Armstrong says, “You have a lot of uncertainty and confusing trends developing. When this materializes in people understanding what’s happening…the dollar and gold would go up together. Because you are looking at a flight of capital. Some people want to buy gold, some people want to get out of Europe, etc. Not everybody does the same thing. The two trends will come together. That’s what our computer is projecting, and it’s happened many times in history.”

– Epic gold breakout ahead!
– Convergence of economic themes – recession next year and escalating conflicts?
– Comments on crude oil.
– On the cusp of WWIII by 2025?
– How to foment de-escalation within the ranks of the power-hungry elite.
– Might societal decay accelerate?
– Tangible assets are key to surviving collapse.
– 90% silver coins remain an ideal survival investment.

James Sinclair Dies at 83

Armstrong Economics Blog/Opinion Re-Posted Oct 22, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

Many have written in saying how they came to hear about me was that James Sinclair, the call Mr. Gold, was publishing my handwritten reports from contempt.  Jim contributed to the promotion of gold post-Bretton Woods. I was purely an institutional adviser before the contempt. When the US put Conrad Black, who was a Canadian and British former newspaper publisher as well as a writer. I met Conrad when he and his son came to one of my Toronto Institutional sessions. When they put him in prison, he began writing for his newspaper. It was Conrad who inspired me to do the same. It was then that my writings expanded from institutional to general public. Jim aided me by publishing what I was writing and spreading the word.

As Socrates said, when sentenced to death, it was either a migration of the soul to see all your old friends or it was like a midsummer night’s sleep – so peaceful not to be disturbed by a dream. We will meet again, my old friend.

The Last World Economic Conference?

Armstrong Economics Blog/World Economic Conference Re-Posted Oct 19, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

Question: Mr. Martin Armstrong. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and Socrates. I rely on your models that have yet to steer me wrong when decoded. Your post was quite alarming. I purchased tickets to your conference and have been in communication with others that I have met throughout the years at these events. Everyone is concerned after your warning that this is the last World Economic Conference. Why?

Answer: The last World Economic Conference? Perhaps. But that question is not dependent on me. For you see, our long-term forecasts have been incredibly accurate. No one has tried to defy their projections more than me. But Socrates does not rely on personal opinion and I am willing to share the full truth behind its projections.

The models saw an uptick in the War Cycle starting in 2014, and accurately selected Ukraine as the hot spot. So from a pure data perspective, what is taking place is nothing new to history. This is all in a database that monitors one action and works out the path of reaction, kind of like plotting the path of a hurricane. When you have a long historical database, that is the ONLY way to forecast that Ukraine would be the place where World War III begins. Such things can not be accomplished from a personal “opinion” perspective year in advance even before the 2014 Revolution in Ukraine.

The road to 2032 is extremely volatile and leaves the most experienced traders vulnerable to trading off of emotions. I will explain in detail what the models have in store for us as we move closer to the 2032 Paradigm Shift as the world will look nothing like what you see today.

As for me, I am ready to call it in – beam me up Scotty. Yet I have perhaps a calling to reveal the truth to those brave enough to accept it. Americans will be required to obtain a Visa to travel to Europe next year. Travel will become increasingly hard as totalitarian governments restrict access to free movement. This may very well be the last year we can host an in-person conference with the same international audience. The convergence of cultures has become one of the most insightful aspects of these gatherings, and while virtual is always possible, this could be the last in-person World Economic Conference.

I am providing all attendees with a hardcover copy of my book, “De-Dollarization.” America’s reign as the financial capital of the world is coming to an end, and the dollar will suffer the consequences.

There are still tickets available. Reach out to my staff at CustomerService@ArmstrongEconomics.com or click here. What I have to share may be the most important convergence of cycles I have seen in my lifetime. The dates are November 17, 18, and 19 in Orlando, Florida. Everything will be revealed.

Can we All Get Along?

Armstrong Economics Blog/War Re-Posted Oct 13, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

COMMENT: Mr Armstrong,
THANK YOU  VERY MUCH !!!  for telling your readers of the true nature of the Hamas; God bless you for telling the truth.
Millions of the impoverished people of Gaza live in fear of these thugs.
History shows Jews, Arabs, and Christians CAN, yes, CAN live together in peace, and it is the politicians or extremist groups, inhuman groups like Hamas, that kindle the fire of hatred.

Human beings can be both strong and weak at the same time. When they fall into the trap of hatred, it is very difficult to get out of it; see what happened in Northern Ireland for many years.
No one in Israel gets up in the morning wishing to ‘take care’ of the Palestinians; they can take care of themselves if only their leaders will not rob them blind and stuff their brains with poisonous ideology.

George Soros: This creature that looks to have a human shape is not a human being at all; it is one of the most despicable creatures on the planet Earth.
God delays taking him back, I guess, because even God will be annoyed to have him around up there!

Wishing you always the best,
Ronnie

REPLY: I have been throughout the region. I have driven through the West Bank and spoken to both Israelis and Palestinians. I have explored the entire area and even took the first flight between Israel and Egypt when relations began. The common people get along. This documentary, The Heart of Jenin, is a 2008 documentary film written and directed by Marcus Vetter and Leon Geller. This film is important to watch for it reveals the story of Ismael Khatib from Jenin, a Palestinian whose son was shot by Israeli soldiers by mistake because he had a toy gun.

Instead of seeking revenge, he donated his son’s organs to Israeli children. In April 2010, The Heart of Jenin won the German Film Award for Best Documentary Film. What this film shows is the common people – not the political hatred of extremists who live for violence no different than our American Neocons who love war and have no problem sacrificing your children for their political agendas. When Field Marshall Goring was put on trial at Nuremberg, he explained something that is so true, but it is never discussed in school and certainly never by mainstream press, which has become the cheerleader for World War III.

Goring was absolutely correct. Those in charge love war and manipulate the people for their own objectives. Hamas wants Israel to kill Palestinian civilians for their own agenda. Suffice it to say I also have a source who knew those directing young Arabs to do suicide bombings. As the source told me, those people would NEVER kill themselves – they always preach others to do that for their agenda.

Our CI wanted to kill American civilians so they could blame it on Cuba to justify invading the island. President Kennedy said no way. That is why the CIA refuses to release all the Kennedy documents because most people believe they took out Kennedy.

THE MURDER OF JFK

I believe the entire Watergate Affair was set up by the CIA because Nixon knew the CIA had assassinated Kennedy. The Watergate scandal involved the five men caught on June 17, 1972, burglarizing the Democratic National Committee’s headquarters in the Watergate complex. Their two handlers were E. Howard Hunt of the CIA and G. Gordon Liddy of the FBI. They were Nixon campaign aides. Nixon wanted to end Vietnam and he knew the CIA was behind the Kennedy Assassination because they wanted war and BELIEVED that Russia was involved.

Before the Neocon Robert Macnamara died, he came out and admitted that they were wrong about Vietnam. That was nice, but 58,000 Americans died for that mistake, and untold millions of Vietnamese.

We are always looked down upon as their pawns to be played. If it is Hamas, CIA, or any government body, they will ALWAYS act in their own self-interest, which is NEVER for the benefit of the people. The only solution to war is to throw the warmongers in a closed room and let them fight it out and leave the common people alone.

The 1848 Berlin Revolution

QUESTION: You have mentioned that the 1848 Communist Revolution that swept all of Europe was a political contagion. Am I correct in assuming this is what you suggest comes post 2024 going in 2032?

Paul

The French 1848 Revolution

ANSWER: Yes. We all have heard of the 1846 -1852 Great Hunger/Great Irish Potato Famine. This Great Hunger was not confined to Ireland. It hit all of Europe, and this was a significant influence in promoting the Communist Revolution of 1848 that swept Europe. The 1848 Revolutions in Europe were unique, for they were a contagion. Neither the French Revolution of 1789, the July Revolution of 1830, the Paris Commune Uprising of 1870, nor the Russian Revolutions of 1905 and 1917 sparked a comparable transcontinental cascade as that of 1848 that swept Europe, including Romania. What is often overlooked is that this came on the heels of a major famine that killed millions- the Great Hunger.

The parallel with prosecuting Trump also existed, where they executed a German politician for supporting the 1848 Revolution. Robert Blum (1807–1848) was a German democratic politician, a publisher, and a revolutionary spirit. He was also a member of the National Assembly of 1848. He fought for a unified Germany and opposed what was happening then, the same thing unfolding today. He argued that no people should rule over another – that is, Prussia. Back then, Prussia was protestant, and they sought to overrule the Catholics of Bavaria. Today, the LEFT assumes seizing power, and they get to force their agenda upon everyone else. That is neither how Democracy works, and it is specific against the very purpose of civilization, where everyone benefits by joining together.

Hence, Blum was also an opponent of the Prussian occupation of Poland.  Blum also was against the rise of this idea of an ancient Arian race, and as such, he opposed the movement toward antisemitism. He supported the Southern German Catholic sect of Bavaria. He even argued for the equality of the sexes, which was ahead of his time.

Blum claimed immunity as a member of the National Assembly who, under the law, could not be prosecuted for his political position. That principle should have applied to Trump on January 6th. They were clever and had him arrested during a stay in Vienna, Austria, and this being a German politician was not recognized as an immunity outside of Germany. They naturally found him guilty and ordered his execution for his role in the Revolutions of 1848 in the German states.

The ex-CIA Chief has called for the execution of Donald Trump. That would save the CIA from having to assassinate Trump if he wins the election and blame some Mexicans this time. Trump now knows the game. There is no way the Neocons, FBI, CIA, and institutionalized career politicians, including the uni-party RINOS, will ever follow any order of Trump. They are blocking even RFK because he is also an outsider. How dare these people think they can be voted in to change government?

This is this coalition of anti-American actors’ last stand, and they are not about to lose control in 2024. We are staring into the eyes of some of the most evil people on the face of the Earth. They can taste power and lick their lips over the thought of defeating Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, Syria, and the Palestinians. From their perspective, this is their time.

A Strong Possibility Twitter Will IPO and Go Public Again, Here’s Why

Posted originally on the CTH on October 3, 2023 | Sundance

I wasn’t going to write about this, but so many requests and contacts have come in, and considering that my background conversations with people are leading to actionable positioning, that I feel it is only fair to share publicly what I am analyzing privately.

The predicate for all assumptions is several fold: {Go Deep One} and {Go Deep Two}. Most of the financial groundwork for analysis already exists. In summary, Elon paid $44 billion for the platform. Current valuations are around $15 billion.  Current debt service is $1.5 billion/yr (roughly $100m/mo).  Current expenses include $100m/yr AWS, $100m/yr Goog cloud (both contracts), +payroll and misc.

Approximately 9 months ago, Musk had $1 billion in cash reserve for Twitter.  The burn rate deficit was roughly $100m/month. That put timeline estimates for an inflection point on/around October 2023.  It is now October 2023.

Approximately a week ago, Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino made a bold statement.  Yaccarino stated that from her review of the current status, Twitter would start to turn a profit in the first quarter of 2024 {link}.  However, with $100 million per month in debt service alone, this statement seemed too far of a stretch.  At pre-musk levels of revenue, maybe; but that $1.5 billion debt service is a heavy nut to carry.

Timing – Remember, it’s October.  Last Friday, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) gave special regulatory approval to Bill Ackman’s firm, Pershing Square (hedge fund), for a new investment vessel called SPARC, whose purpose is to invest in private companies in order to take them public.  As noted by CNBC, “In a SPARC, investors will know what company the financing vehicle would be used to merge with before they have to pledge their investments.”  The financial mechanism avoids some of the issues with typical IPO’s.

•It’s October, inflection time.  •Yaccarino says a strategy is underway for profitability in Q1 2024.  •Ackman gets SPARC approval, and then suddenly:

[…] “The answer is I have a lot of respect for Musk. I think Twitter is a really important platform,” Ackman told CNBC. “I think he’s made tremendous improvements to the platform, and I think it’s a unique, very difficult-to-disrupt, kind of asset and one that could grow.”

[…] Though Musk hasn’t expressed any interest in working with Ackman to take X public, and despite the $13 billion in debt tacked to the company, Ackman has worked out a loose plan to make it happen, if Musk were interested.

“What’s interesting here is we could commit $2 billion to a transaction, set the rights price to $121 million, set it at $100 a share and announce a transaction,” he said.

“And then we tell the story and then the rights holders have a chance to decide whether to invest. As long as the rights have positive value, they’re all going to get exercised, and the IPO raises $13 billion.” (read more)

The heavy nut disappears.

Investors roll the debt into discounted shares of stock.  If Ackman can generate a $17-$20 billion outcome for Twitter, Musk nets $5b and retains 20-25% of shares.  Yaccarino gets well compensated.  It’s a win/win/win.

Critics would say the IPO would mean Musk compromising on the free speech commitment.  However, in reality Musk has already reinstalled many of the control mechanisms of the previous “safety council,” along with the “freedom of speech, not freedom of reach” outlook.  Musk and Yaccarino have also partnered with the Global Disinformation Index.

The compromises are already baked into the platform, and seemingly have been since Yaccarino became CEO.  The 2024 election is next year, and influence is a lucrative business.
