Crime in Chicagohas sent businesses fleeing. Four Walmart grocers recently closed, creating what many would call a food desert. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson absolutely refuses to address the real problem. Johnson and the Economic Security Project are now considering city-run grocery stores that will burden law-abiding taxpayers who will need to subsidize these grocers.
No one working in the Chicago city government knows how to manage money. Their heads are so far up their asses that they cannot see the real problem – light on crime policies and a culture that romanticizes crime. This is another opportunity for local government to get guaranteed income from taxpayers even if the stores operate at a loss. And they will operate at a loss since theft is practically legal. The globalists will have an easier time turning Chicago into a 15-minute city since the city government will already have control over the food supply.
The Chicago Police Department states crime spiked 25% in the past year, with theft rising 11%. These are simply the people they caught since it is common practice for criminals to run into stores, grab everything they can hold, and simply leave. Security is not permitted to chase after the criminals and there is no penalty depending on the value of the goods stolen. Both customers and employees have been hurt or killed by these criminals who have no regard for human life. A spokesperson for Walmart told the NY Post that their stores in Chicago have not been profitable for 17 years. No businesses will want to continue operating in Chicago at this rate. Will the city government take over every area too?
Let the people start a co-op and work together to create a community. No one is holding their neighbors responsible and the good people are the ones who suffer. The remaining businesses and smart money will leave the city if crime and taxes continue to rise. There must be actual penalties for theft to deter criminals, or the city will continue to deteriorate. Make crime illegal again.
The number of frauds coming in is endless. One is claiming to be the Post Office, and you must log in and pay $5 to get your package. The GEEK Squad is a popular one. I even get them from pretending to be FedEx and CVS. They typically say your card will be charged like $500 for some service.
Look at the email. When it is not coming from the company, and you see an individual name, it is FRAUD. They want you to click on something to enter your credit card or bank information so they can quickly relieve you of the burden of having money.
DO NOT respond to anything that is not from the actual company. This is widespread, and they are making a lot of money, especially for the elderly. And they want to go fully digital? You can report them to:

Lots of people are talking about U.S. FBI Director Christopher Wray discussing the agencies “partnership with the private sector” as it relates to modern FBI activity. However, I’m just that random oddball in the crowd who just wants to point out something, well, kind of a big picture issue.
I notice in all of the discussions surrounding the FBI activity, and there are a lot of discussions – including admissions and outlines from the FBI itself, there appears to be an element of the subject matter being overlooked. Here’s a segment from Wray at the World Economic Forum {Direct Rumble Link} as a precursor to what few are noticing. WATCH:
The FBI is a criminal investigative agency. Meaning, a crime is committed, and the FBI mission is to investigate it, solve it, and bring the information to the justice department for pursuit. At least that was the customary role of the FBI as it was/is commonly discussed.
However, please note that in Director Wray’s remarks, every element of the FBI mission is framed around “prevention” of criminal activity, or what we would call pre-crimes.
Stop for a moment and rewatch it if needed, you’ll see what I am talking about.
Um, please excuse my interruption.
While it might seem like an unusual thing to notice, this is not a small issue.
In the era following the 9-11 attacks, there was public outcry around the issue of “how” and “why” did law enforcement, specifically the FBI, not PREVENT the attack. In just about every conversation following the attack every framework was about how to prevent an attack.
The 9-11 commission itself was focused on learning lessons from the attack; thereby the direct and implicit message was to construct systems to prevent another attack from happening. Essentially to move the FBI from a reactive footing in the aftermath of a crime, to a proactive footing to prevent crime.
Now, what I am asking readers to do is to realize when the fundamental mission of an investigative agency changes from investigating the aftermath of criminal activity, to the prevention of criminal activity, we as a society open ourselves up to having severe restrictions on our liberty. After all, just about everything that we now see as an infringement on freedom, is some form of a proactive action by government.
Change the mission from the investigation of crime to the prevention of crime, and the entire apparatus of the mission fundamentally changes.
Criminals are no longer the target when you are preventing crimes. Criminals are only targets in the aftermath of crime. When you are preventing crime, everyone that could commit a crime is the new mission target. Everyone, regardless of their connection to – or association with – criminal activity, is now a potential criminal. Potential criminals must be monitored.
Potential criminals are now the target. You are a potential criminal. As a result of your potential ability, you are a target for pre-crime investigation. Within the process of pre-crime investigation, your archaic views of freedom and liberty are dispatched.
The office of the Director of National Intelligence was created to turn the terrorist radar internally. Every American is now a potential “domestic terrorist.” Thus, you see FBI Director Christopher Wray sitting on a stage and openly admitting the FBI partnerships with the private sector are key to the mission; a mission of pre-crime targeting.
Can you see how this rolls along?…
As soon as the FBI changes from investigating the aftermath of a crime committed to intercepting the potential criminal conduct, things get very opaque, sketchy and weird. When the FBI is investigating crimes, you have rights. When the FBI is preventing crimes, those rights are impediments.
Our entire legal system is structured around criminal accountability. An event takes place, and we hold the criminal accountable. Judges, lawyers, courts, systems, processes, protections, rights of the accused, fourth amendment, fifth amendment, etc. etc. Hundreds of years of rules and regulations within a criminal justice system.
We do not have a “pre-crime” justice system.
The current FBI mission is pre-crime enforcement.
Think about the ramifications; it shouldn’t be hard, because we are living them.
The shootings terrorized the Central Valley city of Stockton earlier this year as police searched for a man clad in black who appeared to be “on a mission” as he hunted victims for ambush-style shootings. He was also tied violence in Alameda County.
[…] Brownlee was initially only charged in the deaths of three victims in Stockton: Jonathan Rodriguez Hernandez, 21, who died Aug. 30; Juan Cruz, 52, who died Sept. 21; and Lawrence Lopez Sr., 54, who died Sept. 27.
The amended complaint, filed Tuesday, additionally charges Brownlee with the killings of Paul Yaw, 35, who died July 8, and Salvador Debudey Jr., 43, who died Aug. 11, in Stockton, as well as the Alameda County fatal shootings of Juan Vasquez Serrano, 39, on April 10, 2021, and Mervin Harmon on April 16, 2021.

Andrew and Tristan Tate are controversial figures in the industry of what has been called online influencing. There is generally a gray area when it comes to personalities who arise from one field of fame, in this case kickboxing, and then segway into other financial exploits where politics and pop culture are blended. One person’s hero is another’s archvillain.
Andrew Tate, and to a somewhat lesser extent his brother Tristan, are pop culture personalities who have been controversial, removed from various social media platforms and ostracized for conduct many have defined as toxic and misogynistic. CTH has limited knowledge of them but apparently the brothers have a considerable following online and in their various endeavors. They have strong supporters and strong opposition.
[FWIW, from the outside looking in, they look sketchy.]
Last night the pair were arrested in Romania on charges of running a criminal enterprise (what might be considered RICO violations in the U.S), human trafficking and rape. The two brothers, and two other people who are accused of collaboration in the enterprise, stand accused of luring women into the world of online pornography and forcibly holding them against their will. According to Romanian authorities, Andrew Tate had been under investigation since April 2022, after accusations from one American woman claiming to have been forced into their pornography business and held under threat and duress. Prosecutors said they found six women who the suspects had sexually exploited, and that the suspects appear to have created an organized group to recruit, house and exploit women by forcing them to create pornographic content to be viewed on certain websites for money, according to Reuters.
Reuters – Romanian prosecutors asked a Bucharest court on Friday to extend the detention of Andrew Tate by 30 days, after the divisive internet personality was arrested on suspicion of human trafficking, rape and forming an organised crime group.
Tate, a former professional kickboxer, and his brother Tristan were detained on Thursday for an initial 24 hours alongside two Romanian suspects, prosecutors from the anti- organised crime unit said in a statement after raiding their properties in Bucharest.
“Anti-organised crime prosecutors have notified the rights and liberties judge with the Bucharest Court with a proposal to remand the four suspects for 30 days,” the prosecutors said on Friday.
The brothers declined to comment on Thursday but their lawyer confirmed they had been detained. They appeared in court on Friday as they awaited its decision on whether to grant the prosecutors’ request.
Prosecutors said the Tate brothers had been under criminal investigation since April. “The four suspects … appear to have created an organised crime group with the purpose of recruiting, housing and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content meant to be seen on specialised websites for a cost,” prosecutors said in a statement late on Thursday.
“They would have gained important sums of money.” Prosecutors said they had found six women who had been sexually exploited by the suspects. (read more)
Andrew Tate was born in the United States and holds dual citizenship in both the U.S. and U.K. As noted by Reuters, “Tate, a former contestant on the UK reality show Big Brother, operates the ‘Hustler’s University’, which claims to have over 160,000 users who pay a subscription to learn about topics such as cryptocurrencies, investing and business.”
