Desperate Times in Lebanon

Armstrong Economics Blog/Corruption Re-Posted Aug 16, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

Desperate times drive people to desperate measures. A Lebanese man made international headlines after holding 10 people hostage in a seven-hour standoff with authorities before surrendering. This man was not attempting to steal from the bank and had no intention of harming anyone. He is a victim of Lebanon’s economic catastrophe, and this is a very sad story of what can happen when banks fail.

Lebanese banks have placed harsh limits on withdrawals since 2019. The man, who entered the bank with a gun and gasoline, was pleading for $35,000 of his own money in order to pay for his father’s healthcare.

The Lebanese lira declined by over 90% against the USD. The country’s GDP fell to $20.5 billion in 2021, and real GDP per capita declined 37.1%. The World Bank deemed the crisis a “deliberate depression” that was “manifested by a collapse of the most basic public services; persistent and debilitating internal political discord; and mass brain drain.” Inflation in Lebanon reached 210.08% in June, and the lira is utterly worthless. Food prices have spiked 332.35%, transportation 462.4%, and housing by 132.38%.

Billionaire Prime Minister Najib Mikati, one of the richest men in the Arab world, has done nothing to help the people. Time has run out for Lebanon, and the people need a complete political transformation to regain any quality of life.

FBI Seized President Trump Passports During Raid on Mar-a-Lago

Earlier this afternoon President Donald Trump revealed yet another shocking piece of information related to the FBI’s raid of his private residence in Mar-a-Lago.  Sharing in a post written on Truth Social President Trump notes, “In the raid by the FBI of Mar-a-Lago, they stole my three Passports (one expired), along with everything else. This is an assault on a political opponent at a level never seen before in our Country. Third World!”

The unprecedented DOJ and FBI assault against President Trump continues.  President Trump gave an interview to Fox News to discuss:

(Via FOX) – […]  In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital on Monday morning, his first since the raid, Trump said he had his representatives reach out to the Justice Department to offer to help amid outrage over the FBI’s unprecedented raid on his private residence last week, in which agents seized classified records, including some marked as top secret. Trump is disputing the classification of those records, saying the records have been declassified.

“The country is in a very dangerous position. There is tremendous anger, like I’ve never seen before, over all of the scams, and this new one — years of scams and witch hunts, and now this,” Trump said.

“If there is anything we can do to help, I, and my people, would certainly be willing to do that,” Trump said.

“There has never been a time like this where law enforcement has been used to break into the house of a former president of the United States, and there is tremendous anger in the country — at a level that has never been seen before, other than during very perilous times,” Trump said.

Trump told Fox News that his team “has not heard yet” from the Justice Department on whether they will accept his offer for help.

“I think they would want the same thing — I’ve never seen anything like this,” Trump said. “It is a very dangerous time for our country.”

He added: “I will do whatever I can to help the country.”

Trump, reflecting on the “years of fake witch hunts and phony Russia, Russia, Russia schemes and scams,” said that “nothing happens to those people who perpetuate that — nothing happens with them.”  (read more)

Using Familiar Leaks, the New York Times Frames the Case Against President Trump 4.0

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on August 14, 2022 | sundance

State Dept use CNN.  CIA/IC use Washington Post. DOJ/FBI use New York Times/Politico. These are the constants in an ever evolving, ever changing, yet always consistent narrative engineering roadmap.

The New York Times frames the newest version of the ‘case against Trump.’  This is technically update 4.0, from the original 2015/2016 targeting effort.  Version 2.0 was Robert Mueller. Version 3.0 was the impeachment revision built upon 1.0 and 2.0.

In the latest update, 4.0 carries the same intent but a modified and expanded design.

New York Times – […] Last year, officials with the National Archives discovered that Mr. Trump had taken a slew of documents and other government material with him when he left the White House at the end of his tumultuous term in January 2021. That material was supposed to have been sent to the archives under the terms of the Presidential Records Act.

Mr. Trump returned 15 boxes of material in January of this year. When archivists examined the material, they found many pages of documents with classified markings and referred the matter to the Justice Department, which began an investigation and convened a grand jury.

In the spring, the department issued a subpoena to Mr. Trump seeking additional documents that it believed may have been in his possession.

[…]  In an effort to resolve the dispute, Mr. Bratt and other officials visited Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla., in early June, briefly meeting Mr. Trump while they were there. Two of Mr. Trump’s lawyers, M. Evan Corcoran and Christina Bobb, spoke with Mr. Bratt and a small number of investigators he traveled with, people briefed on the meeting said.

Mr. Corcoran and Ms. Bobb showed Mr. Bratt and his team boxes holding material Mr. Trump had taken from the White House that were being kept in a storage area, the people said.

According to two people briefed on the visit, Mr. Bratt and his team left with additional material marked classified, and around that time also obtained the written declaration from a Trump lawyer attesting that all the material marked classified in the boxes had been turned over.

A short time after the meeting, according to people briefed on it, Mr. Bratt sent Mr. Corcoran an email telling him to get a more secure padlock for the room. Mr. Trump’s team complied.

The Justice Department also subpoenaed surveillance footage from Mar-a-Lago recorded over a 60-day period, including views from outside the storage room. According to a person briefed on the matter, the footage showed that, after one instance in which Justice Department officials were in contact with Mr. Trump’s team, boxes were moved in and out of the room.  (read more)

That’s essentially the nub of the current DOJ/FBI effort to target/remove President Trump.

According to the narrative, President Trump isn’t allowed to have any records of his administration.  So goes the origin of the targeting.  All other presidents are permitted to have documents, but not Trump.   Trump bad. All others, good.

…”the footage showed that, after one instance in which Justice Department officials were in contact with Mr. Trump’s team, boxes were moved in and out of the room.” Yeah, well, kind of hard to respond to whatever they wanted, without actually touching or moving the boxes; but ignore that… we need to make it suspicious or something.

NBC Legal Analyst Barb McQuade showcases the current DOJ plan as outlined by the Lawfare crew. [link]

To anyone concerned, I would simply say ‘relax‘.  Be angry, but not despondent.

The effort is as much intended to wear YOUR psyche down as it is to attack Trump.  Remember the Alinsky strategy: Ridicule, Isolate, Marginalize… This is the essential goal of political lawfare.

Yes, political lawfare is corrupt, horrible and infuriating.   However, at the end of the day it is based on weak arguments and fear.

The problem they face against Trump is simple.  In 2020 President Trump earned 75 million votes in the election.  75 million.  How can they duplicate the election fraud to defeat 75 million voters, without the benefit of covid mail-in ballots?

That’s their problem.  They cannot defeat him or us.

They must remove President Trump because he/we represent an existential threat.

They will fail…

….There are more of us, than them.

Sunday Talks, Adam Schiff Claims He Has Seen No Evidence That President Trump Declassified Documents, a Ridiculous Lie

The agenda around the targeting of President Trump and any documents held in his Mar-a-Lago home is obvious. However, the framing of the media narrative around the targeting effort is even more ridiculous than the Trump-Russia conspiracy narrative.  [Transcript]

Appearing on CBS Face the Nation, current HPSCI Chairman Adam Schiff, a man of notoriously deceitful disposition, claims he has seen no evidence President Trump declassified documents prior to the end of his term. A ridiculous lie debunked by years of statements and documents from former DNI Ric Grenell, former DNI John Ratcliffe President Trump himself, and documents from the White House to the DOJ that are now part of the public record.  WATCH:

I know it is painful to watch these deep state participants spin their nonsense; the sanctimonious nonsense from the CBS narrative engineers is even worse. However, it is only by watching the narrative pushed toward the audience that you can truly absorb the intents and motives of the deepest Deep State liars, which includes republicans.

[Transcript] – MARGARET BRENNAN: You are typically told about covert operations, ongoing national security threats. Do you have any sense at this time whether the information that Donald Trump had in his Florida residence posed any kind of threat to national security?

REP. SCHIFF: Well, all I know about the actual materials is what was in that search warrant inventory, but from that alone, you can tell there was a serious risk to disclosure potentially of sources and methods, because some of those documents were marked top secret, sensitive compartmented information. That is among the highest of designation in terms of the- the extremely grave damage to national security that could be done if it were disclosed. So, the fact that they were in an unsecure place that is guarded with nothing more than a padlock or whatever security they had at a hotel is deeply alarming. And I have asked for, along with Chairman Maloney, a damage assessment by the intelligence community and a briefing to Congress.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Will you get one? Have you heard from the Director of National Intelligence?

REP. SCHIFF: I have not heard back yet. But I’m confident we will get one and I’m confident the intelligence community will do a damage assessment that is, I think, fairly routine when there has been the potential risk of disclosure of national security information or classified information. What is, to me, most disturbing here is the degree to which at least from the public reporting, it attempted- you know, it appears to be willful, on the President’s part, the- the- the keeping of these documents after the government was requesting them back. And that is- adds another layer of concern.

MARGARET BRENNAN: So, if there were truly materials of this classification level, and it’s been publicly reported elsewhere, that there were materials related to nuclear programs, for example, if there was that sensitive level of information being held, why did Justice Department officials wait 18 months after the end of the Trump presidency? What changed that made this immediate?

REP. SCHIFF: I don’t know. But if the Trump people represented that they provided all the classified or national security information and didn’t, that’s a serious problem. I can tell you anyone in the intelligence community that had documents like that marked top secret SCI, in their residence after authorities went to them, you know, they would be under serious investigation.

MARGARET BRENNAN: You know, the President has broad declassification authority when he is in office, but typically a declassification is memorialized in some way. Can you seek out the answer to the question of whether there actually is record of whether Donald Trump declassified that? That’s his defense here, that anything he had, he had already declassified.

REP. SCHIFF: Yes, we should determine, you know, whether there was any effort during the presidency to go through the process of declassification. I’ve seen no evidence of that, nor have they presented any evidence of that. The idea, first of all, a former president has no declassification authority. And the idea that 18 months after the fact Donald Trump- Trump could simply announce, well, I’m you know, retroactively declassifying or whatever I took home had the effect of declassifying them is absurd. But nonetheless, the statutes the Justice Department are asserting in the search warrant, don’t even require that they still be classified. If they would be damaging to national security, it’s a problem. It’s a major problem. And finally, I’d like to add the reaction of many of my Republican colleagues and those around the former president to attack the FBI over this and endanger FBI agents is just another damaging level of irresponsibility.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Well, also, we learned this past week that your colleague, Congressman Scott Perry, who leads the Freedom Caucus- the Justice Department seized his cell phone as part of their investigation into the attempts to overturn the election results in 2020 and that slate of fake electors. The committee looked into his actions and the slate of fake electors. We heard during the public testimony about that, and some conspiracy theories that he had been talking to Mark Meadows, the Chief of Staff, about. Are those two parts of those investigations overlapping here?

REP. SCHIFF: Well, to the degree that the Justice Department appears to be investigating the fake elector plot, then yes, our investigations would very much be overlapping. What is to me most striking about the seizure of that phone is in order to do that, of course, they would have to make a showing to a judge or grand jury about there being probable cause that there was evidence of a crime on that phone and the fact that it was a member of Congress’s phone, I think, would make the Justice Department all the more certain, or need to be certain, that they had the probable cause. And that also suggests the Department thinks that this fake elector plot was a violation of law, which I think it certainly was. So, I think it’s very significant. All those respects.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Yeah, and just- that is its own federal investigation there. On another topic, I want to ask you, we are coming up on this one-year anniversary of the U.S withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the Taliban takeover of that country. You said at the time of the withdrawal, that you would have liked the military to stay on as long as necessary to get Americans out and fulfill our obligation to our allies. You had pledged vigorous oversight. We haven’t seen the White House or State Department after-action reports on this. The country is just in utter devastation under Taliban rule. Did it really have to be this bad?

REP. SCHIFF: Well, I certainly don’t think the withdrawal had to go as it did, and the loss of American lives during the withdrawal, and the degree to which it took months and months and we continue to try to help people escape from Afghanistan, I think could have been handled differently. But I do think that we- we have demonstrated, the administration has demonstrated with the killing of Zawahiri, the number two in Al-Qaeda under Bin Laden, that it retains the capability, much as it said it would a year later to go after those that threaten the country

wherever they may be, in this case, the heart of Kabul. I think, you know, the killing of Zawahiri, shows both the danger and also our capability. The danger in that I think clearly high elements of the Taliban government had to know that he was there and were giving him safe harbor at the same time.

MARGARET BRENNAN: –Is Al-Qaeda an ongoing threat?

REP. SCHIFF: Al Qaeda is an ongoing threat. I think, though, that the threat from al Qaeda is probably greater outside Afghanistan than it is in Afghanistan.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Chairman Schiff, thank you for your time this morning. We’ll be back in a moment. (read more)

Think about it…. Any documents that would show a corrupt deep state targeting effort against Donald Trump would be considered a ‘threat to national security,’ as defined by the people doing the targeting against Trump.  It’s the issue CTH has been outlining for years.

Yet More Problems at Problematic Baltimore Drug & Vaccine Production Plant—Plenty of Taxpayer Dollars Burn Away

TrialSite Staff Posted on Aug. 14, 2022, 10:30 a.m.

A drug and vaccine drug production facility in Baltimore plagued with problems was shut down by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in early 2021. Apparently suspended due to contaminants, the FDA allowed the production facility to go back online just months later in August of 2021. Now about 135 million doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will need to be destroyed due to yet more quality mishaps at the same facility. Other production problems at an Emergent BioSolutions production facility reported by this media led to the destruction of 400 million vaccine doses last year. According to a statement by Johnson & Johnson has ended its relationship with Emergent BioSolutions. The New York Times covered this latest quality debacle late last month.

Emergent BioSolutions benefited from multiple federal contracts during the pandemic yet couldn’t keep the quality together to avoid the wastage of hundreds of millions of vaccine doses.

Emergent BioSolutions was a costly partner for AstraZeneca as well as Johnson & Johnson. A manufacturing partner in America they were apparently the cause of vaccine safety issues at the now notorious Baltimore plant run by Emergent BioSolutions. The most recent quality debacle was more widely reported in places such as India.

While Emergent BioSolutions has been plagued with production errors, they still benefit from ongoing federal government grants—meaning ultimately taxpayer-funded research.

Why aren’t the feds more concerned? TrialSite reported just a few months ago that the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) granted Emergent BioSolutions funds for yet another vaccine development effort. This time the funds went to Emergent BioSolutions to conduct a Phase 1 study evaluating an early-stage vaccine for Eastern Equine Encephalitis virus (EEV), Western Equine Encephalitis virus (WEEV) and Venezuelan Equine Encephalitis virus (VEEV).

Perhaps the quality issues plaguing the Emergent BioSolutions Baltimore production facility won’t be an issue for the development of investigational products for this novel vaccine?

Big Picture, Review all DC Activity from June 3rd with New Eyes

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on August 13, 2022 | Sundance

As many people start to recognize, perhaps some for the first time, the scale of corrupt DC activity, specifically as it surfaces in the unprecedented August 8 raid of President Trump’s home, it is important to emphasize a point.

As noted by President Trump and numerous lawyers in/around his office, the U.S. Dept of Justice and FBI visited Mar-a-Lago on June 3, 2022, to review presidential documents kept in storage boxes there.  After that visit the next contact with DOJ and FBI officials was the raid on August 8th.

With this timeline in mind, and knowing how the DC administrative deep state operates, all current evaluations must consider these dates carefully.   Many people have puzzled over why the DOJ and FBI waited. Good question.  However, the better question is…

…What was DC doing between June 3 and August 8?

The original exploration of Mar-a-Lago took place before the first J6 hearing ever happened.  The first J6 hearing took place June 9, a week after the DOJ and FBI initially went to Mar-a-Lago.  Do not be naive.  Intellectual honesty would accept the results of that June 3rd review were part of the larger Trump targeting dynamic.

Do not rush yourself.  Take the time to re-review all of the activity inside those dates.  Do not think only about the Joe Biden administration or the democrats who have already exposed their intent.  Remember, anti-Trump targeting is NOT a partisan issue.  The republican powerbrokers in the DC system have facilitating motives just like Democrats. This is a UniParty aspect.

For the sake of transparency, as an identified J6 target CTH had encounters with the J6 investigators during this timeframe.  However, that is ancillary -and obscure- to the larger point, but it does give us a ‘sense’ of what the priorities of the DC system were -and their expressed sense of urgency- at the time.

The Trump targeting is not a democrat -vs- republican issue.  The two political clubs hold an almost identical vested interest, albeit admittedly one side needs to publicly pretend they are not assisting.

We must always remain aware; this is national political power at its highest and most corrupt level.  There are trillions at stake for the interests of both clubs.  Donald Trump represents a unique threat to all DC stakeholders.

All future posts on this issue are likely to be password protected.   However, in the interim the primary point today is to contemplate what you see unfolding against the backdrop that each political club Washington DC is operating in their own interest, and in their unified interest.  Some coordination is almost certain.

That said, the power interests on the republican side of the equation had full knowledge of what the intents and motives were of the DOJ/FBI following that June 3rd visit to Mar-a-Lago.  Republican political interests operated within that window, June 3rd to August 8th, to establish the current political landscape.

On the Democrat side of the club, they began the J6 committee offensive a week later, June 9th….

…. But what did the Republican side of the club do, to capitalize in advance on what they knew was coming?

This is the context for looking around at current events on the GOPe side of the equation.  You avoid battered conservative syndrome when you look back upon the path you have followed without knowing who paved it and why.  What did the republican club do, and plan to roll out, between June 3rd and this week?

The republicans knew what was coming.

We have been through too much together, we have documented far too much together, to pretend these DC operations are organic or partisan.

Everything that has happened since June 3, 2022, needs to be look at with new eyes.

I do mean everything, including the actions, scheduled activity, and responses from the professional political class to these recent events.  The actions of all political candidates need to be re-reviewed, while looking at the timeline with new eyes.

A New Hoax: Did Trump Declassify Seized Documents?

The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show originally Published on Rumble on August 12, 2022

Interview: Trump Raid Deathblow to Democracy

Armstrong Economics Blog/Armstrong in the Media Re-Posted Aug 13, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

Commentary from Greg Hunter:

Last month, legendary financial and geopolitical cycle analyst Martin Armstrong said the time to prepare is now for the chaos that is coming in 2023.  The destabilization of America has been kicked into high gear early with the FBI raid on President Trump’s Florida home this week.  Armstrong explains, “This really is unprecedented . . . . In the United States, we are supposed to have civilized transfer of power.  That’s all coming to an end.  I am not being dramatic here.  From a legal perspective, this is completely unprecedented.  The danger of this is once they have done this, if the Republicans are ever allowed to get back into power, they would only end up doing the same thing to the Democrats. . . . It’s striking a real deathblow to the very idea of a democracy.  We are not, at least we were not until today, someplace like Guatemala where you throw the opposition in jail, kill them or whatever you do.  This is what’s going on.  They are so afraid of Trump running in 2024 that this is just over the top.  Once they did this, there is no end.”

The Managing of DeSantis, Five Days in the Bunker and a New Press Secretary

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on August 12, 2022 | Sundance

Bunker boy Ron DeSantis has completed five days of silence and is scheduled to re-emerge tomorrow in Arizona as part of the TPUSA national tour.  Those of you who have walked the deep weeds of national politics, know exactly what is happening.  Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has entered the managing phase of the GOPe candidate process.

[The TLDR version is HERE] – The well-liked Florida Governor has remained silent and invisible for five days, ever since the FBI raid against President Trump at Mar-a-Lago, in West Palm Beach, Florida.  {Go Deep} The governor of the state has said nothing and avoided any opportunity where he may have been asked for comment.  Instead, he has transmitted two pre-recorded statements from the bunker.

The silence is deafening transparency for those who accept how the professional republican club operates; the key word is “accept.” Unfortunately, there is a jaw-dropping amount of denial.  We are seeing the outcome of Ron DeSantis being professionally managed by the GOPe club.

Now we move into the phase of re-branding where risks are mitigated, and positions are modified.  Earlier today, while still in the bunker, DeSantis’ press secretary Christina Pushaw announced her exit.

As the rebranding takes shape, Ms. Pushaw is now moved away from the principle (that’s Ron) and becomes a part of the campaign team.

(FLORIDA) – Christina Pushaw, Gov. Ron DeSantis’ Press Secretary, departed her administrative role Friday to join the Republican Governor’s re-election campaign.

The Florida Standard, a conservative new media outlet, was the first to report Pushaw’s shuffle and published her resignation letter, which Pushaw sent to Chief of Staff James Uthmeier and Director of Administration Dawn Hanson on Friday. She will become the campaign’s Director of Rapid Response beginning Monday.

Deputy Press Secretary Bryan Griffin will step in as lead Press Secretary on Monday, where he will report directly to Communications Director Taryn Fenske. (more)

DeSantis has no primary challenger, so the club timing right on schedule.  He emerges from the bunker with a few weeks to break in the new alliance, new team, new campaign motive and new brand image.  Bold becomes pastel.  Tomorrow the GOPe club kick-off the relaunch through the aligned TPUSA organization, which they have now taken control by purchasing Charlie Kirk.   Remember, in club politics it’s the money that changes things.

The script will follow the customary mapping.  DeSantis will start a national enhanced branding effort, increased exposure to unfamiliar audiences, and simultaneously absorb the MAGA aspect the GOPe need.  MAGA bona fides will come from appearances with names like Kari Lake and Blake Masters, under the auspices of endorsements.

On its face, it is supposed to look like DeSantis is endorsing Kari Lake and Blake Masters, two strong MAGA candidates.  However, the actual club motive is to transfer the MAGA currency of Lake and Masters into the pocket of DeSantis.

The club gets much more out of it than Lake or Masters.  The club gets the stealth benefits that people never pay attention to. This is part of the brand image for DeSantis and club strategy.

Whether Ron DeSantis knew of the DC/FBI targeting effort before Monday is a moot point.  What DeSantis did know was that this week a new branding effort would begin. It started with the “Dear Governor DeSantis” commercials. The subtle shift is to nudge him out of Florida politics into a more prominent national role

All of this is coordinated by the national club.  Nothing is just random, but the presentation to the voters must retain the illusion of choice.

Everything now is about club branding and club management. That’s why I knew four days ago that Pushaw would depart, and I started to deliver statements on Twitter toward that end. Many people became upset.  However, I do not take such a severe position, as I did on Monday, without overlaying all of the data-points we have assembled. I know it sometimes shocks people, they get mad at me, but as you watch it you will see it unfold. This is simply how the club operates.

It’s not DeSantis fault per se’. He doesn’t really have many options. He holds no independent wealth to keep the club away from influence.

DeSantis is being managed now. He’s shifted into the Pence, Jeb, Haley, professional wing of the club. Things change. He’s accepting GOPe grooming (bunker silence). Simultaneously risks are distanced (Pushaw departs official orbit), proximity mitigation. It really is just a mgmt/branding effort.

Now he will begin a national tour. A book (written for him) is looming. The pattern never changes.

The “professionals” will now enter the picture. The orbit of DeSantis will be more controlled. Representatives will come from the professional political class. Speeches and remarks will be filtered and approved. Risks will be mitigated. Control mechanisms in place.  However, the illusion of authenticity must be retained.  This is the club weak point (see Cruz and Haley).  This is what the club will try to modify with DeSantis and Kristi Noem.

At first, whenever DeSantis reemerges – likely tomorrow, you will notice a subtle shift, perhaps an awkwardness. A slight change in the authenticity you used to love. A more careful and deliberate speech pattern. Longer thoughts before responses. More appearances on Fox News. Brett Baier et al, w/ the assist.

The technique is Norman Rockwell (optics) and Ward Cleaver (tones), soft hues and gentlemanly pastels.

Club branding is subtle on the image front, but very clear on the substantive messaging side. Social issues selected to maximize camp coalition, and influence base.

Consistently present political messaging where the republican voter base can say “yes.” Keep the “yes” messaging at the forefront (social emphasis). Focus on values. Schools, kids, safety, woke pushback, media bias etc, keep the audiences nodding yes.  Ultimately, it’s a sales technique. Identify with the target to influence their decisions.

Issues around multinational & corporate economics, hard lines, foreign policy, all these things must be avoided – except in general terms.  The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is not to be challenged, not really.  Keep the message social and build the emotional connection. It is harder to break an emotional bond than a logical or cognitive bond.

These are the political techniques of Lee Atwater that still make up the bulk of the GOPe club playbook.   The greatest skill of the professionally republican is to present the illusion of choice in such a way as the voters do not see it.

Keep in mind, back in Washington DC both clubs are collaborating on the Trump removal program because both clubs’ benefit.

If we watch closely, we will see a MAGA-lite, professionally controlled republican go from five-days as a pupa (now) to chrysalis (next), to national club butterfly.

Hi Karl.
