New Flu – China Identifies New Coronavirus at Xinfadi Food Market…

New coronavirus reports from Beijing are very sketchy. According to Chinese authorities they have identified a new strain of coronavirus at a massive wholesale food market in Beijing called the Xinfadi Market.  They are blaming “European Salmon”…

Beijing officials have reported 79 cases over the past four days, the biggest concentration of infections since February. The spate of new cases prompted officials in many parts of the city to swiftly bring back tough counter-epidemic measures, with at least three districts entering “war-time mode.”

Measures imposed included erecting round-the-clock security checkpoints, closing schools and sports venues, and reinstating temperature checks at malls, supermarkets and office buildings. CNBC REPORT:

There have been several economic reports that China’s manufacturing economy is contracting. Considering a desperate dragon…. It would not be out of place to consider that Beijing would react to losing an economic war, or even economic position, by trying to unleash a globally mitigating virus intended to target their geopolitical adversaries [Hong Kong, Taiwan and the U.S.]

This zero-sum outlook is EXACTLY how the Chinese red dragon thinks!

We have been engaged in an undeclared economic war.  Perhaps it’s time we made an official and public declaration; and strategically, openly, aligned all U.S. interests toward economic combat.

Trump Administration Outline Background of Tomorrow’s Executive Order on Police Reform…

The White House provided some background information to media in advance of tomorrow’s executive order on police reform.  Details Below:

[Transcript ] –  First of all, I want to thank everyone for being here. Tomorrow, we plan to do an executive order that the President has been working on for the last couple of weeks. This is not a new thing. We started our police commission a couple of months ago in the beginning of the year after we did criminal justice reform.

The President is a president of action and I’ll go through what this executive order is going to be talking about.

We developed this by talk- — working very closely with law enforcement professionals and their representatives, as well as with families of people who were killed by law enforcement and also their representatives.

The goal of this is to bring police closer together with the communities. We’re not looking to defund the police; we’re looking to invest more and incentivize best practices.

The executive order has three main components to it.

♦The first component is going to be about — it’s going to be about creating credentialing and certification. We’re looking to incentivize best practices. There are a lot of great standards for use of force throughout the country. However, a lot of the police departments that have had problems are not using the most modern standard. Whether you look at Minneapolis or if you look at Ferguson or if you look at Baltimore, a lot of their training materials and standards are outdated, and this is something that we want to incentivize people to get certified on their practices and hopefully that will encourage better training and action.

♦The next thing is going to be about information sharing. That gives us the ability to track people who have excessive use of force complaints so that people can’t leave one law enforcement department and then get hired at another. There should be a place for people to know about people’s backgrounds so we can keep bad cops out. And nobody hates bad cops more than good cops. And we want to make sure that we can track that and take action.

♦The last part, which is also going to be critical, is with regards to mental health and homelessness and addiction. We want to be able to have co-responder programs where we’re going to incentivize. A lot of the work that police officers are doing today deals with medical issues and homelessness. And we want to make sure that police officers can do policing and that they can implement best practices throughout the country to figure out how they can deal with a lot of the other issues that come up along the way.

We think that this will be something that both the law enforcement community, as well as the community advocates have been asking for. This is something that our law enforcement commission, the Attorney General, and all the people that we’ve been talking to feel like is a very necessary development now in law enforcement.

So we think that this is steps that will actually make a big difference. And again, the President is going to call on Congress to hopefully pass legislation that can make a difference. And we’re looking forward to tomorrow and for the President to have the opportunity to have a discussion where he has both police officers and police officer representatives in the room with families of people who were killed by police officers, to have the discussion that the country needs to have so that we can turn the anger in the country right now into action and hopefully bring some unification and some healing.

I will say that this President has been about solutions. A lot of the President’s policies have been addressed towards solving the problems in the inner cities, whether it’s for advocating better schools, whether it’s trying to bring access to capital and more investment into the poorest areas through Opportunity Zones, bringing more money to higher education in historically black colleges, or even addressing criminal justice reform, which he was able to do with the historic passage of the FIRST STEP Act and a lot of the work we’ve done on second chance hiring.

The President promised, when he ran for office, to work hard for the forgotten men and women of this country. And his actions today, his policy platform, have achieved great results. And this is just another example of how, working with law enforcement, the President has been able to make adjustments that are able to hopefully bring the country forward and bring law enforcement and communities closer together by promoting practices that are state of art for community policing.

I’ll pass it over to [senior administration official]. Maybe you want to finish up on that.

SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL: Sure. Thanks so much. And so, this reform is very impactful because it’s all focused on community policing. We know that, in certain areas, the police have been disincentivized to stay in the car and not walk the beat, and that’s made communities less safe. And so what we want to do is thread the needle on having more cops, community police, but at the same time, build trust with the community. And that’s what this reform effort is all focused on.

And so we had the opportunity to not only work with various different police groups, but several faith leaders and groups that represent families.

And so, one of the big reforms that everyone agrees on and that we think is going to be revolutionary in the way we do policing is the creation of co-respondent services, which focuses on bringing on social workers who will go on a response with police for nonviolent response calls, specifically focused on mental health, drug addiction, as well as homelessness issues.

We find that law enforcement finds themselves dealing with these issues more often than not. And in many cases, they’re not the best one to respond to these type of efforts. And so though we have a database, we also made sure that this database system accounted for privacy and due process for those officers because we want to be fair in how we set up this system. But again, as my colleague reiterated, most good cops — all good cops, the biggest thing they hate is bad cops. You know, and so they want to be able to have a system that they can trust and that no one can go around the system.

And then we also really want to focus on retention and recruitment — specifically, recruiting people from the communities that they live in. We want police officers who are in the police department to be a part of their community. And what better way than recruit directly from that community?

And so we look forward to tomorrow’s event. And I’ll sit back for any questions.

Q Hey, this is Franco Ordoñez with NPR. Thank you so much for doing this. I had a question about unions and accountability. One of the concerns was how difficult it is to have accountability for officers. Derek Chauvin of Minneapolis, he had, I understand, 17 number of complaints against him. How does this address the issue of accountability, particularly what some say are roadblocks from unions — police unions?

SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL: So there’s a lot of accountability in the credentialing process. Many of these local accountability (inaudible) is going to be put on local mayors who maybe not take the time to get their police department credentialed. And so we’re going to really need them to hold accountability for their local law department, local laws.

I mean, there’s so many different police departments around the country that could’ve done a better job if they just took the time on the front end with doing the credentialing. We’re, of course, going to put some incentive in place by rewarding police officers and police departments that do the right thing. But we think there is certainly some accountability from local leaders to help us do this.

You know, the federal government can only do so much, so we do need local partnerships. But we’re going to do all we can to use our platform to bring police and communities together.

Q Hey there, it’s Michael Moates. I’m with the America First Project. I just wanted to ask you: If you look at the numbers from the different leadership across, you know, Atlanta, Seattle, Minneapolis, obviously there is a lot of Democratic leadership there. Is there going to be withholding of grants? Are you all looking other options of discipline for those who don’t comply?

SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL: What we found is prioritizing funding really changes the way that people go around seeking funding from the federal government. And so you don’t necessarily have to demonize them or withdraw funds, but if you create an equal system based off of best practices, there’s going to be more so a race to create the best application to get access to the funding. And that’s usually how it works, which is why we’re prioritizing the funding, rather than trying to do anything that would seem like we’re trying to defund police departments.

SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL: And what we’re finding is that there is actually a fairly good ecosystem of standards and training behaviors. And, you know, some places do it great and others less sub-par. And, you know, what we want to be doing is incentivizing people to take on those best standards, and improve their training, and do the retention of good officers. And by doing that, that will be the way that you can hopefully start doing it.

But you’re never going to solve this problem by demonizing the police. You have to solve this problem by working with law enforcement and with the police to make progress together. And there’s a lot of willingness, and I believe that this executive order will have the support of all the major federal law enforcement groups in a very, very positive way.

Q Hi, it’s Andrew Feinberg with Breakfast Media. Thanks for doing the call. I have two questions. Shortly — shortly after the President took office, in 2017, the DOJ’s COPS Office stopped doing investigations and publishing reports into problems in local departments. And shortly before Jeff Sessions resigned as Attorney General, he issued a memorandum directing the Civil Rights Division to stop doing pattern-and-practice investigations and entering into consent decrees — making it harder to enter into consent decrees with police departments to stop civil rights abuses.

Those types of investigations and consent decrees were widely considered to be some of the strongest tools in the DOJ’s toolbox for dealing with abuse and misconduct in local police departments. Would the President consider directing the Attorney General to rescind that memorandum and allow these investigations and practices to start again? And if not, why not?

SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL: We’re focused on bringing the police and the community together. We think going in a certain direction may dis-incentivize police from going to high-crime areas. You can look at some localities, like Baltimore, that had consent decrees. And now, plenty of neighborhoods in Baltimore are being victimized, and crime is on the rise because police officers are afraid to do their job because there is no protection for police officers.

I think we have to think about this: Most people want to be able to call the police if they need them. Just because some bad apples don’t perform their job, that doesn’t mean you throw out the baby with the bath water.

And so what we’re trying to do is create a system which brings police and community together and focuses on public safety. With that public safety narrative, we have less of these bad interactions and more of the positive ones. And so that’s what we focused on.

Q Yes, hi, this is Carrie Sheffield with JusttheNews.com. I had a question about, specifically, what the executive order is going to include in terms of what pieces might there be that need to be passed through legislation. And, I guess, specifically, the three components that you mentioned, are these all going to be through DOJ? What’s the legal mechanism for how these will be enforced? And then, what, if anything, is not going to be included, in terms of executive power and your just making of the suggestion? If you could differentiate those two.

And then, a quick question for [senior administration official]. You mentioned that there are a lot of officers who are not from the community. Is there any steps — or evidence to say that this is a problem or it is more common, that it is — there’s results, in terms of seeing that it’s better to have officers from the community?

SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL: Yeah, let me start by saying that a lot of the law enforcement is local. Right? And so, at the federal level, there are certain things that we can impact and there are certain things we can’t impact. And so what we’ve been trying to do with this executive order is work with law enforcement to try to set some guiding principles and incentivize best behavior at the local level.

We’ve — you know, we launched the first — you know, we launched a commission earlier this year, right after we did criminal justice reform, to study improvements with modern technology and what could be done in policing now throughout the country.

Once this is signed, the Attorney General will then take the principles from the President and work to turn that into specific guidance. And then also, Congress is going to need to look at it, and we’ll call on them to work on different areas to see if they can both provide funding and legislation to put some of these programs into place.

And do you want to —

SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL: Yeah. I was just going to — I can just add to that, that there is a lot of — here that certainly can be put into statutory law. But the President wanted to act. He didn’t want to have to wait on Congress to act on it this issue, because bringing the community together now is extremely important, specifically for public safety. We’re speaking on behalf of many communities that want more law enforcement there to help protect them and keep them safe.

And so we’re always going to — the first business of the President is protect people. We’re always going to make sure that happens.

Insofar as the stats on community policing, that comes from my experience, but a number of community advocates have asked for more of that and also the police. And so that’s an area where everyone has had common ground.

Q Hi, this is Jeff Mason with Reuters. Thanks, everybody. The question I have, just as I’m thinking about how to write about this, is: What exactly — how exactly does the executive order fulfill these objectives that you’re talking about? When you say you want to incentivize best practices and information sharing, and the piece about mental health, does that mean the executive order will tie funding around the country to this or will mandate the funding — federal funding be tied to these things? Just connect the dots, if you can, for us about exactly how the order will work.

SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL: So it’s not tying; it’s incentivizing. I mentioned, earlier, priority points. It’s creating that ecosystem that rewards good behavior. One of those good behaviors: If I’m applying for a federal grant, maybe you want to look at accreditation that makes you more competitive. You got to understand that most of our discretionary money is competitive. So if you put in the ecosystem that we’re going to prioritize funding if you have this, then they’re going to do exactly what that is.

I mean, a lot of these police departments follow whatever the rules are to the T. And so we if we put that as the priority point, it’s going to change the way that they apply for this and they’ll do that accreditation.

Q Hi, this is Shannon Pettypiece with NBC. One of the issues that people have raised is the issue of racism in police forces or racial stereotypes among police officers. Is that something that the President is going to address tomorrow? And is that a concern that he sees needs to be dealt with?

SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL: So, look, I think that there was some misreporting out about this earlier. And tomorrow is about working with law enforcement and the families of those who have been killed, you know, unfortunately, and trying to bring people together with policy that will bring the country forward.

And I think that, you know, the President sees, you know, law enforcement as — vast, vast, vast majority — as great. They do a great job. They keep our communities safe. He stands with them. And he wants to figure out how to do things to eliminate situations where you have bad officers.

I think, you know, he was horrified and, you know, we were all horrified by the video that we saw with Mr. Floyd in Minneapolis. And we want to make sure that we can continue to give the resources to the local communities to get closer with the — with their police forces to do better, to build more trust.

But again, it goes back to the President’s full suite of policies that help the forgotten communities, where he’s looking to — where he’s looking to help people have opportunities to go to better schools and get better jobs and have access to capital. And hopefully that brings more opportunity to the community, which will lead to less crime and more safety.

But, [senior administration official], you may want to address that.

SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL: Sure. I think [senior administration official] hit the nail on the head. There is no one issue when it comes to the community. There are a lot of historic factors and disparities that’s brought us here today. Everything COVID did on shining the light on a lot of disparities such as access to capital and public health. And then we had the protest that came about.

But the President created infrastructure to help with the disparities long before any issues happened, because he was very proactive about giving everybody a chance at the American dream. And so it’s only allowed for us to bring more partners on the local level. We’ve had a hard time having local leadership lean into actually dealing with the problems of some of these communities. Hopefully, (inaudible) this executive order comes out, more of them will come to the table to partner with this President.

SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL: And what the President has been very clear on is he’s willing to work with anybody he wants to address the issues if they arise. And, again, if you look at the suite of actions that he’s taken over the last three and a half years, he has a big record of success of really focusing on forgotten communities and trying to deliver for people, regardless of their race, religion, creed.

SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL: Last question.

Q Hey guys. Thanks. This is Christian Datoc from Daily Caller. I’m just curious: If Congress were to pick up any of these components in future legislation, would the President sign that piece into law, even if it included provisions on qualified immunity? Kayleigh McEnany stated last week that that’s a non-starter for the White House. Just wondering if anything has changed on that front.

SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL: Yeah, I would — I think Kayleigh’s words still hold today. And again, the President is always flexible and he’ll look at what comes to him. But I think that would be a very — a very high hill to climb. I don’t see anything that has that in there passing Congress any time soon.

But, [senior administration official], do you want to just make a few final comments?

SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL: Yeah. I think the meat of this executive order is focusing on those certification bodies that will work on training people through de-escalation techniques, use of force standards, including those policies that prohibit chokeholds except in those situations where deadly force is allowed by law.

And we’re leveraging our ability to execute discretionary grants and prioritizing those police departments that take the time to get that credentialing. And so that’s the meat of this, and we think that goes a lot further than anything that anyone has put on the table right now.

SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL: All right, that’s it, everybody. Thanks so much for the call. The embargo is now lifted. Remember, this is on background and can be attributed to senior administration officials. Thanks so much for the time.

COVID Madness – Chicago Ministry of COVID Compliance Introduces “Social Distancing Ambassadors”…

Comrade Lightfoot explains why the Chicago Ministry of COVID Compliance needed to cancel the days-off for all police officers, and extend all shifts to 12 hrs per day.

According to the Chicago Mayor, the city will be deploying “Social Distancing Ambassadors” to help citizens accept their social responsibility.  The monitors will assist the public remaining disengaged from human contact as the Ministry begins permitting citizens to exit the confines of their homes.  Drone enforcement could likely assist.

No word on the specifics, but Chicago scientists have apparently identified a hybrid form of the virus that will attack outdoor residents who enter a six foot danger-zone in proximity to another person.  The ministry has determined Blue state residents are safe at distances exceeding 6 feet.  However, inside that zone, at 4 or 5 feet or less, the virus creates a rapid death spiral and attacks with increased ferocity.  It is currently unknown why the proximity strain of the virus responds differently in Red states.

Blue State proximity infection is dangerous. Unless, of course, the proximity variable is influenced by the third factor of vegetables or groceries; which have been identified as generating a safe zone as outlined in local supermarkets.  As a consequence, jogging without groceries requires the proximity police, aka “Social Distancing Ambassadors.”

According to city officials, these new exterior compliance officers should help reduce the influx of residents currently jogging in grocery stores.  Remember, we are all in this together; and to prove how critical this is to the fabric of our society, we must all stay apart.

The COVID-19 virus seems incapable of keeping up with the speed of passenger vehicles, buses, airplanes and trains.  However, once you exit your COVID compliant transportation, the Blue State virus can swoop down and attack you if you are in the proximity of a open-space park or beach.

The Ministry appreciates our compliance in avoiding the dangerous virus freedom zones; and is thankful for compliant citizens who do not question the complex data analysis that goes into regional scientific tracking systems.

The Red State rebel alliance has noted the specifically random viral targeting appears much more prevalent in the regions where people formerly wore genitalia on their heads.  However, despite the obvious correlation, there is not enough conclusive scientific data assembled to quantify the merit of this claim.  Confirmation efforts remain ongoing.

The Unified Blue State Ministry would like to remind you the greatest danger is the type of purchasing you make.  Large box retailers with dense populations are safe-spaces.  Smaller business with less density are hazards; and houses of religious worship are death traps due to their propensity to promote the most critically dangerous activity of all, fellowship.

Larry Kudlow Discusses Economic Reopening -vs- Media COVID Panic – Meanwhile, New York Manufacturing Index “Unexpectedly” Surges…

The U.S. media are in ideological alignment with blue state governors and congressional democrats to hype COVID-19 panic as a method to keep the economy from reopening.  To advance this narrative the crowds during mass protects they approve of are ignored; but any crowd at an event they do not align with is used to push panic. Everyone can see this.

The New York manufacturing index shocked everyone earlier today showing a strong rebound.  The index “unexpectedly” surged 48 points in June surprising all economic forecasters.   Meanwhile, National Economic Council Chairman Larry Kudlow appears on Fox News to discuss the dynamics.

.

As Kudlow notes, President Trump is looking to use any potential phase-4 legislative package to inject a massive ‘America First’ boost, via tax incentives for manufacturing business interests to return to the U.S.  The administration does not see a need for additional direct spending, bailouts, or continued payments; however, this is an opportunity to provide tax incentives to boost U.S-centric economic activity.

It’s important to remember the dynamic of U.S. multinationals (Wall St), and how many of them align with Democrat and media efforts to hold down the U.S. economy. There are trillions at stake.

Wall Street multinationals are attempting to retain their prior investments in China and southeast Asia; the last thing they want is an incentive program (expensing, tax relief etc) putting pressure on them to return jobs and manufacturing to the United States. The multinationals prefer their decades-long built globalist supply chains that they paid congress to create.

Because of the specific interests, and the ideology, the multinationals, U.S. media, the resistance movement and democrat politicians are in alignment to support Wall Street against President Trump’s America-First agenda.

The singular force fighting for the benefit of Main Street USA is President Trump and his economic war council. In essence the Trump administration is in a battle against all the global interests, foreign and domestic, who are determined to keep the U.S. economy from expanding and getting stronger.

These are all simply different battles, with varying levels of escalation, in an economic policy war that has been waged for over three years. President Trump is fighting to deconstruct a globalist system created over decades. We are now at the apex of the battle where no political weapons are out-of-bounds… including the weaponization of viruses; and the political deployment of highly controlled racial reserve units.

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Manufacturing activity in New York State stabilized unexpectedly in June after three months of broad weakness brought on by coronavirus-related business shutdowns, and companies’ six-month outlook shot to a decade high, the New York Federal Reserve said on Monday.

The regional Fed bank’s Empire State Manufacturing Index surged 48 points to a reading of negative 0.2 from negative 48.5 in May. Economists polled by Reuters were looking for a reading of negative 29.8, according to the survey median. (link)

The Silence of the Shepherds

Shepherds surrendered the Church to the State

The Silence of the Shepherds

Collectively, they put up little-to-no resistance to the State-ordered closure of their sanctuaries.

Technically, their congregations or denominations own the space, not them.  They are merely the shepherds of those who sit in pews, entrusted with leadership over the lambs, in religious matters.

The urban dictionary defines “folded like a cheap suit” to mean: “To give in on something you felt so strongly about only a moment ago”.

Most clergy folded like cheap suits when their state government gave them the order to shut down worship

Most clergy folded like cheap suits when their state government gave them the order to shut down worship.
Now, as many re-open, it will be time to do a damage assessment.

What was the impact of closure on church finances? How many of those who could not come, will now come back? While the bricks and mortar churches were closed, how many parishioners found meaning in voyeuristic participation in remote worship on live TV, or in YouTube streaming? Or via radio broadcasts, that flood the airwaves on Sunday mornings?

Meanwhile, some advantages will have come to those who adjusted to remote worship.

No travel time to church. No worries about social distancing. No passing the collection plate.  No dress codes.  Attendance permitted in P.J.’s, even underwear.  Breakfast during the sermon on a TV tray, or a coffee table while watching a Joel Osteen wannabee. Or, in larger churches, the regular preacher addressing a near empty room, may be perceived as only pretending to be speaking to a live audience.

More than a few who once sat in the pews will have, during their months away, grown accustomed to distance worship as equivalent in value to live participation in a large room with friends, in spaces where, in small rural congregations, now deceased parents, aunts and uncles once sat.

Distance worship through a screen, with preachers in the company of working stage hands, deletes congregational singing.  But, then, in several of the old dying denominations, many have already found the liturgy redundant, and the hymns unsingable.

There was scant resistance from the shepherds when their flocks were divided and sequestered at home

Those legacy congregations that now offer “contemporary” worship as an option to the “traditional” format are logistically out-classed by large non-denominational churches that pioneered the contemporary motif decades long ago. They often hire stage talent. Because it’s partly show-business.

By and large, America’s clergypersons didn’t challenge the government logic of keeping Walmart, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Home Depot, Target, Kroger Grocery Stores, et.al. open and well-stocked with shoppers who move around the aisles often within a foot of each other, while church sanctuaries, like that pictured above, were closed, to all but the church mouse.

There was scant resistance from the shepherds when their flocks were divided and sequestered at home—except for essential trips.  Church not being essential.

How hard would it have been to social distance in a sanctuary capable of seating, say, 400-600 with parishioners sitting six feet apart? And masked. Only a minority sing anyway, and often not all that well. But it’s the effort that counts.

All those seats usually filled on Easter Sunday, could have been spread out over multiple assigned shifts of attendance.  As many as necessary. Those with last names beginning with A-H come at X time. Those I-O at Y time. Etc. It wasn’t impossible. But it wasn’t at all, because the shepherds complied when the Government ordered.

The shepherds surrendered their flocks. Because they were told to by the State

Except at the Temple Baptist Church in Greenville, Mississippi.  There worshippers had been attending church while seated in their vehicles in the church parking lot, listening to their preacher’s sermons on radios.  But then Mayor Erick Simmons issued an executive order—it’s what executives do to feel important—in mid-April, that closed Temple Baptist for both in-person and drive-in church services.  Those who defied the order were fined $500.

The 2020 shutdown of worship in America’s churches should end, once and for all, the notion of separation of Church & State—however you define it.

The shepherds surrendered their flocks. Because they were told to by the State.

It was a milestone event in American history. Though it’s hardly been noticed.

Arguably, the best textbook on “A History of Christianity” written in the 20th Century was by Kenneth Scott Latourette(1884-1968).  He wrote this about the early church (pp. 261-262):

“The various churches, including the Catholic Church, creations of Christianity, and the visible vehicles by which it was transmitted, were clearly institutions.  Even before Christianity was accorded toleration by the state, and while it was still subject to chronic or intermittent persecutions, not a few of its bishops were accused of striving for prestige and were entering into intrigues and exerting the kind of power which was akin to that of the dignitaries of the state. Indeed, it is a question whether any visible institution, especially if it becomes large, can avoid falling victim in part to trends in the direction of the power which crucified Jesus.

The danger to Christianity was augmented when the state made its peace with the Church. Until then, Christians tended to keep aloof from government and many, perhaps the majority of the Christians, believed that loyalty to Christ was inconsistent with holding civil or military office or serving in the army.  Beginning with Constantine, that attitude was weakened…Christian officials had to make choices for the state among courses none of which was in full conformity with Christian principles, and to take action which entailed the use of the kind of force on which the state was built. Emperors exercised their power to interfere in the affairs of the Church.”

So it went for months in America. As the Shepherds surrendered the Church to the State.

Patriot’s Response: ‘Stop Talking About Anarchists & DO Something About Them

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan's Summer of LoveCanada Free Press dear friend, columnist Tony Mangan, ‘The Cowboy Poet’ has some sage advice for ‘Team Trump 2020’  on their latest Law & Order fundraiser.

“It’s past time for Democrat Mayors and Governors to get tough. Violent thugs are running rampant – these people are ANARCHISTS,” says the fundraiser.

“While the Fake News has been inciting hatred and chaos, President Trump is working around the clock to restore LAW AND ORDER in these communities where liberal leadership has FAILED.

“It’s time for this madness to END, but President Trump cannot do it alone. He needs to know he has your support during this unprecedented time.

“We’re sending him a list of EVERY PATRIOT who steps up and publicly shows their support, and we want to make sure he sees YOUR NAME.”

Says the ‘Cowboy Poet’ never known to mince words with all due respect:

“You people are poor fund raisers.  You should work for the Democrats, their rank and file are stupid enough to go for this.

“If the protesters are anarchists (and I think they are), why are not the people who are supporting them (Democrat mayors and governors) being arrested for aiding and abetting the anarchists—as they themselves are also ANARCHISTS”.

“Anybody?!

With America still burning in fires set by angry, out of control mobs, and residents of some downtown streets of Seattle being held hostage by CHAZ (Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone),  isn’t it time to stop pussyfooting around by just talking about the anarchists instead of DOING something about them?

Over to you, Mr. President!

America Is Gone With The Wind!

This is not America, the country we have today is becoming hell.

America Is Gone With The Wind

The United States of America will never be the same, it will be a much worse place to live and work.  Amid a three-month pandemic there has been a three-week cultural revolution, ignited by the brutal death of African American George Floyd in Minneapolis, that has changed our country forever.

Our country is a great experiment, a diverse nation of 50 states united by a founding document that enshrines God given rights that people in other countries can only dream of realizing. The United States has become not only the world’s only superpower, but also a country that has been a beacon of hope and freedom to the world.

Evil forces are succeeding in permanently changing our great country

Unfortunately, evil forces are succeeding in permanently changing our great country. It was difficult enough for the nation to withstand its first national economic shutdown, but the troubles were multiplied when the nation witnessed the gruesome killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer.

Floyd’s death was captured on video and it sparked nationwide protests. The peaceful marchers were soon overwhelmed by looters and rioters who wanted to burn and steal. Mayhem was encouraged across the nation as liberal media outlets celebrated the demonstrations as a justifiable outpouring of anger after Floyd’s death.

The results were catastrophic as thousands of businesses were burned, looted, and destroyed. In Minneapolis, the carnage was breathtaking as 360 businesses were damaged or destroyed by an uncontrollable throng of criminals.

Sadly, in many cities, the police were resistant to engage outlaws, stung by accusations of brutality and racism. The National Guard had to be deployed in 23 states to quell the violence.

According to the U.S. Attorney General, the demonstrators were supported by the radical extremist group, Antifa, along with other leftist organizations. The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating how the demonstrations could multiply so quickly across the country. There is plenty to investigate, such as mysterious busloads of demonstrators being driven to protest sites. Also, there are conflicting reports about pallets of bricks oddly appearing in downtown areas.

Tragically, the victims of the madness were often African Americans. Dozens of people were seriously injured or killed by the rioters. For example, an African American St. Louis security guard and retired police captain, David Dorn, was killed outside of the pawn shop he was trying to protect.

The political left is following the maxim “never let a good crisis go to waste.”

While Floyd was remembered with multiple funerals and worldwide expressions of grief, Dorn and other victims of the rioters have been practically ignored.

The political left is following the maxim “never let a good crisis go to waste.” The attacks on businesses and innocent people have also developed into regular attacks on police officers. The battle cry of many of these protesters is to “defund the police.”

Such a policy would be total lunacy. While some police officers are racist or unstable and need to be removed from their departments, the vast majority do a tremendous job of protecting and serving the public. We need to properly pay and honor our police officers instead of attacking them.

A country without “law and order” is a country that will soon disintegrate. This is exactly the goal of some of the radical left protesters. In Seattle, a seven-block area of the city has been seized by anti-government demonstrators. The area has been renamed the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, nicknamed CHAZ.

Before relinquishing their hold on the area, the protesters have stated that their list of 30 demands must be met. The list includes “the abolishment of imprisonment,” and the “abolition” of the Seattle Police Department. Instead of removing these anarchists from her city, the Mayor of Seattle views the protesters as patriots who are having a “block party,” and a “summer of love.”

The radical left not only wants the police to be disbanded and defunded, but they also want all monuments to “white supremacy” destroyed. Thus, mobs across the country have spent the past three weeks pulling down monuments to Christopher Columbus, confederate generals and any individuals deemed to be offensive in any way. No police were stopping these hooligans, who should all be arrested for the destruction of property.

This cultural jihad is extending to the universities where professors who do not parrot the correct talking points on these protests and the demands of the Black Lives Matter movement are being targeted, suspended, and fired.

Almost 300 companies, including Amazon, have expressed their support for Black Lives Matter

Almost 300 companies, including Amazon, have expressed their support for Black Lives Matter. Any Americans objecting or even saying “All Lives Matter” face the wrath of the mob. The victims include a Sacramento Kings broadcaster who was fired for such a tweet and a New Orleans Mardi Gras captain who is facing the total desertion of her krewe membership for daring to show support for “All Lives Matter.”

The mob has also succeeded in forcing the cancellation of two popular television shows, Cops and Live PD. Supposedly, the programs glorified police officers too much. Even more ominously, the Academy Award winning classic, Gone With the Wind, voted the most favorite American movie of all-time, has been removed from the film catalog at HBO Max. The censors at the network are busy crafting suitable language condemning the racism of the movie. Once that is finished, the movie will be returned to the airwaves, but this time with a disclaimer that will air before the movie begins so that audiences can be properly educated.

What is next America? It could be book burning or other draconian attempts to squelch free speech or free expression. In America today, only groupthink is allowed and anyone daring to have an opposing point of view will be ostracized, fired and it is not unimaginable to think, one day, imprisoned.

This is not America, the country we have today is becoming hell.

Dear Dad, You Were Right!

Donald Trump, victim of constant media abuse and criticism, could be our very last chance at some much-needed GRACE

“When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished by how much he’d learned in seven years.”Mark Twain.

Away back in the year nineteen hundred and seventy, a bunch of us kids threw a rock concert in one of our city’s parks. We were raising money to help us beat the school board into allowing us boys to wear long hair in our high schools. My father, having seen the flyers around town, told me that I was absolutely not to attend the concert. And he told me that, in the event he discovered I had attended said concert, he would murder me. That being the case, you can certainly understand why I could not tell him that I had to attend—since I was one of the concert’s organizers. The day of the concert, a beautiful sunny Saturday, he and my mother drove into the park and up behind the big flatbed trailer we had rented for our bands’ sound stage. Our big generators could not be heard over the roar of the great rock music. My father left Mom sitting, got out of the car and strode determinedly toward my girlfriend and me. He politely asked me if he could have a word with me.

Dad was a prophet. At the time, I thought he was an idiotic relic

That Saturday, dozens of frisbees were flying at our tremendously successful gathering. There was a hint of marijuana smoke (still a BIG felony back then) mixed in with all the incense sticks smoldering amongst the thousands of attendees. Everybody must have donated at least a couple of bucks each because we wound up with about 10 grand in the kitty. We were elated. But, I was suddenly living what I then believed were probably my last moments of life on this earth. My dad and I walked over to one of the huge oak trees that sheltered that screaming semi trailer. And just short of yelling (in competing with the band playing) he narrowly looked at me and smiled and said, “You guys just don’t realize what sort of a horse you are dragging into our town.” Of course his allusion was to the Trojan Horse given by the Greeks to the Trojans—stuffed with fully armed Greek soldiers who would slip out of the horse that night and kill a bunch of drunken, sleepy Trojans. I looked at him and said (in my typically dizzying intellectual tone), “What exactly do you mean, Pop?” He said, “Everybody here has already forgotten why most of the guys my age went to Europe and fought Hitler. Trust me, by the time your grandchildren are old enough to start college, a lot of them will no longer have the sense to understand why we have locks on our doors.”

He was a prophet. At the time, I thought he was an idiotic relic. But he knew of what he spoke. And today we are living in the midst of a bunch of silver ponytails and idiots of all ages who don’t have the common sense to see that our actions these days have absolutely nothing to do with logic or even the most cursory knowledge of world history. As a society we are now entirely shaming the shed blood of our nation’s founders. And all the men and women who put themselves in harm’s way during the past nearly 300 years in ensuring our liberties—to them, we owe a bottomless apology. We have squandered the historically singular gift we are only inches away from completely losing. And the riots of looting pillagers we are watching every evening, before toddling off to our comfortable beds, have about as much to do with mourning the loss of a senselessly murdered American, as I, a six foot 10 inches tall stocky man, have in common with legendary gymnast Nadia Comăneci.

The events currently going down here in America are what the generations of our enemies—who don’t have a nodding acquaintance with the liberties we Americans daily take for granted—have been longing for since our inception. The silly myths and fairytales that have been pumped into our heads by a trillion warm televisions have successfully drowned out the reason big city’s downtown apartment dwellers have the array of deadbolts and chains on the cubicles they pay thousands of dollars rent for every month. Yes, it’s true that we can ride around in computer-driven taxis. We have sound systems that give our music a more accurate reproduction than when it was performed live. We have television monitors that deliver a clearer image than our retinas can differentiate from reality. We have boutique drugs that can lull us to sleep or seemingly give us enough momentary relief to justify living another day. But most of us all have lost sight of the FACT that mankind has never, in all its existence, been more blackhearted, filthy minded or cold-blooded than we are today. The devil, like a pool shark about to make his career shot, has at least all of America right in front of a corner pocket. And only a comparatively few can see that we are perfectly set up for a fall unprecedented in our wildest imaginings.

Politicians lend credence and give support to the ‘anarchists’

I never thought I would see the day when—after having watched several minutes of commonly available, precisely obvious video documentation of an elderly white-haired man feeling up all sorts of clearly uncomfortable little girls—that the very same man is now powerfully and respectfully proclaimed to be at least half our nation’s beloved favorite candidate for president. How in the world could such a thing happen? [I have explained that phenomenon in other stories which the reader should take the time to examine.] But if you had, just a few decades ago, told me in detail, about any number of the events now happening around us daily, I would have spit on the ground and sworn that you were out of your mind for making such insane predictions. Yet today my newspaper’s lead story photo shows a skinny reveler armed with his crowbar, standing on top of an abandoned police car with its windows smashed in and filthy words spray-painted on the doors and hood. And the horrid death of George Floyd is only a reason, but certainly not the excuse, for any of that. A colossally wicked human being (who happens to be white) dressed as a policeman – BECAUSE THE PEOPLE WHO GAVE HIM HIS UNIFORM WERE NOT PSYCHICS—killed a black man, and all of what’s left of our country is now effectively held hostage because most all of us have seemingly lost our ability to think rationally. But it gets worse …

Politicians lend credence and give support to the ‘anarchists’ (in this instance, rather like calling a rabid dog by a more respectful name) around our nation who are smiling as they ‘protest’ simply because they are bashing in store windows and ‘shopping’ without having to spend any money. And politicians, and movie stars, and all manner of contemporary ‘dignitaries’ are applauding these demons AND PROFITING BY IT mostly because the general public has gone mad and lost its ability to think rationally for more than an hour ahead. No, the bottom line—THE REAL TRUTH BEHIND THIS MESS—is that a very real devil saw his sweetest opportunity in a uniformed tyrant who never grew up, fatally bullying a gentle and sweet Christian man. And, just as satan thought he had won the day 2000 years ago when he crucified Jesus in a crowd of hypocritical priests, one of our Lord’s innocent, believing children was senselessly killed surrounded by a group of police who were equally as hypocritical as those devil-driven priests. And now much of America seems to be totally incensed because the people we trust to honestly report our news have further helped satan to use this evil tragedy to bring indictment on anything or anyone they want to paint with their lies and non sequitur sleight-of-hand.

Joe Biden will serve to do little more than grease the chute to total chaos and destruction

And, on top of all this, as I said in my last article, ‘has anyone yet given a proper answer to the coronavirus problem’? Jesus, in Luke chapter 21, Matthew 24 and elsewhere in Scripture talked about all the perplexing dilemmas preceding His second coming. Amongst His list of horrors, he mentions “PLAGUE AND PESTILENCE” as part of the problems accompanying the HARD-HEARTEDNESS of mankind, wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes and floods in diverse places—open your own Bible and read all about what is happening around us right now. And how many of us Christians have been regularly going to God and crying out for His glory, help and gospel to rescue a lost and fumbling planet full of unbelievers?

When I think about the Lord quietly sitting on His throne and waiting—right prior to His finally losing His patience—I see a saddened and deeply thoughtful, TRUE GOD waiting for His creation to choose to come to their senses. And yet hardly anyone, not even many of His own blood-adopted children, are drawing near to Him seeking His will, comfort and omniscience in what clearly appears to be the beginning of this planet’s and people’s very last ‘time of trouble’.

It turns out that my father obviously never murdered me. But he was absolutely right in his predictions, given the limited material with which he had to work. His later born-again son took too long to catch up with his hard-earned wisdom. And I, very admittedly, eventually had to meet my Heavenly Father in order to achieve any ability to hopefully have made some sense in anything I have written above. Nevertheless, the fact remains that we are currently in way over our heads. The approaching, treacherous, final fork in the road of our existence is, I believe, directly ahead of us. And, judging by our performance to date (cutting to the chase), a Joe Biden will serve to do little more than grease the chute to total chaos and destruction. And Donald Trump, victim of constant media abuse and criticism, could be our very last chance at some much-needed GRACE. I pray that we don’t get what we deserve.

Youth Attack Berlin Police

In Berlin, last Friday evening, up to 500 young adults gathered at the Berlin Gleisdreieck for a party. Most of them were drunk. The police asked them to leave the area. The young adults reacted partially with bottle throwing and assaults. The frustration over lockdowns is clearly leading to the rise of anti-police on a global basis. This is not just about abuse.

Gates Funding Genetically Altered Mosquitoes

Oxford-based genetic engineering firm Oxitec has announced a partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to develop a new strain of mosquitoes to combat the spread of malaria. However, while the Gates Foundation has focused on the Mosquito, there has been a covert engineering project to develop a mosquito that spreads vaccine instead of disease. This has already been achieved (see Science Magazine).

There are those who have simply embarked upon genetically altering the world in which we live without and consideration for the long-term consequences. Australia learned its lesson of what happens when you mess with Mother Nature. There were two species of beetles that were decimating sugar cane crops. The beetle’s larvae were eating the roots of the sugar cane and stunting, if not killing, the plants. The anticipated solution was to import the cane toad in 1935.

The scheme backfired completely became the cane toads cannot jump very high so they did not eat the beetles. Instead, the cane toads began going after everything else from insects, bird’s eggs and even native frogs. Since the toads are poisonous, they began to kill would-be predators. The toll on native species has been immense. Australia became invested with cane toads that kill everything other than the beetles.

All this genetic manipulation can have devastating long-term effects. As always, such people are incapable of understanding the long-term ramifications. Like a rain forest, remove on species and you set off a chain-reaction where others who relied upon that species as a food source die which in turn was a food source for yet another species. It is like Adma Smith’s Invisible Hand for the economy is never created by governmental design, but by individuals seeing an opportunity and filling that nitch.
