Watch Longshoremen Union – A Predictable Democrat Strategy to Weaponize Absent China Goods in Coming Months

[AUTHORS NOTEHaving attended the ASEAN conference to make contacts, after a brief respite at home I spent the past several weeks traveling Southeast Asia to research the likely impact from Trump’s tariff and global trade reset. Visits included manufacturing and distribution facilities in the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and South Korea. What I will share with you in the next few months is an overview from direct first-hand discussions, contrast against the MSM financial media outline.]

The predictable doomsday Wall Street Journal narrative includes a forecast for a massive drop in exports from China as shipping conglomerates begin to outline a drop in trans-pacific sea cargo and container carriers.

What I would say to concerned Americans is to filter out the political narrative and remind yourself of the expanded footprint throughout SE Asia that Beijing has already established.  Chinese companies, many of them subsidized by the CCP, are pre-positioned to begin transnational shipping. I have witnessed it first-hand.  However, here’s the WSJ narrative as it begins.

WSJ – The number of ships sailing from China to the U.S. laden with clothes, electronics, furniture and other goods is plunging, as an accelerating number of cargoes are canceled.

The scrapped sailings come after the Trump administration ratcheted up tariffs on China while giving a three-month reprieve on punitive levies for much of the rest of the world.

At the Port of Los Angeles, one of America’s biggest gateways for imports from China, executive director Gene Seroka told port officials Thursday that he expects a 35% drop in import volumes in two weeks “as essentially all shipments out of China for major retailers and manufacturers has ceased.”

The trade war between the U.S. and China has triggered retailers and manufacturers to switch their supply lines and rush products out of other parts of Asia, such as Vietnam and Malaysia. Companies are making hurried decisions about imports as they gear up for the peak shipping season this summer when retailers bring in supplies for the new school year and the fall and winter holidays.

Bookings out of China fell 60% in the past week after Trump imposed a succession of tariffs on China that reached 145% on April 9, according to Nathan Strang, director of ocean freight at Flexport, a San Francisco-based company that helps companies ship cargo around the world.

Importers that work with Chinese manufacturers that also have factories in other parts of Asia are pivoting: “They’re saying, ‘Today we are stopping China production, tomorrow we are starting Cambodia,’” Strang said.

Dozens of canceled sailings from China were due to reach U.S. seaports in the coming weeks. Freight demand from China to the West Coast of the U.S. could fall 28% next week, while demand at East Coast ports could plunge 42% the following week, according to Alan Murphy, chief executive of Denmark-based data firm Sea-Intelligence. ”The impact is staggering,” he said. ♦ Key point for consideration: Just because cargo comes from Vietnam, Cambodia and/or Malaysia ports instead of China, does not mean the product within the cargo is not Chinese.  In reality the tentacles of Beijing’s proactive positioning are very visible within each of the aforementioned nations.

It is also obvious from the approach taken by President Trump and his trade team; they are well aware of the belt-and-road hubs China established in the past decade.

Following the 2017 tariff hammer, China rapidly began leveraging their prior SE Asia investment as a workaround to what Beijing forecast as a tariff risk they strategically wanted to manage.  Chinese companies are now embedded throughout ASEAN nations.

Indeed, there may be fewer container shipments directly from China, however those alternate supply lines noted in the WSJ article are filled with mostly Chinese products.

The result: the containers that arrive to the U.S. from Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and even India, will likely be carrying a high percentage of products made in China, along with a combination of products from final assembly or finishing in the export hub.  [It is worth noting India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is well aware of this also.]

♦ Into this dynamic I would proactively note interested political followers in the USA should pay close attention to how the International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) responds to the corporate media narrative.

The narrative will be that fewer container ships from China (tariff impact) will have a negative impact on dock workers and tradespeople who work in the ports for U.S. imports.  Fewer imported cargo containers equal less work for the longshoremen; that’s the first part of this predictable corporate narrative.  However, in 2024 President Trump was forcefully out front in supporting the ILA union contract position.

Will the International Longshoremen’s Association stand with Trump, or will they drop support as the global trade reset emphasizes domestically manufactured jobs?  That will be an interesting aspect to watch because the dockworker union leadership will face massive pressure to comply with the anti-tariff narrative.

♦ The last political aspect for proactive review comes from what will predictably be a massive push at the end of this year to emphasize any shortfalls in product supply issues.  Democrats will blame President Trump for empty shelves, missing parts or finished consumer goods (true or not).  Even small sector products that might be missing will be dramatically emphasized.  Prepare for this, because it will be part of the 2026 election narrative.

Democrats, Wall Street multinationals, corporate media and all of those interests who are opposed to the trade reset and tariffs will seek to exploit and influence consumer anxiety as the holidays loom closer.

Meet Schwab’s Successor – Peter Brabeck-Letmathe

Peter Brabeck Letmathe

Peter Brabeck-Letmathe has replaced Klaus Schwab as the acting CEO of the World Economic Forum in what appears to be a stage coup. The 80-year-old Austrian businessman spent his career working for Nestle, moving through the ranks from 1968 to 1997 when he was appointed CEO, a position he held until 2008. He remained at Nestle as a chairman until 2017, when he was appointed as Chairman Emeritus.

Brabeck-Letmathe held board memberships with Credit Suisse, Roche, Exxon Mobil, L’Oréal, and Salt Mobile SA. He was the founder and chairman of the 2030 Water Resources Group (WRG), a public-private partnership within the World Bank.

The 2030 Water Resources Group (2030 WRG) is a global multi-stakeholder partnership that brings together governments, the private sector, and civil society to address the growing challenges of water scarcity and water management worldwide. This program was first launched at the WEF’s Davos in 2008, and naturally, Nestle is a major partner as well. Demand for water will outweigh supply by 2030, the group insists, and its goal is to manage the world’s water supply.

The one opinion, which I think is extreme, is represented by the NGOs, who bang on about declaring water a public right. That means that as a human being you should have a right to water. That’s an extreme solution,” Brabeck-Letmathe stated in a 2005 documentary entitled “We Feed the World.” He believes that everyone should have access to water, but only for essential needs, which he believes amounts to 50-100 liters of clean water per day.

Nestle extracts free-flowing water, bottles it up in plastic containers, and marks it up for a profit. The company has acquired water extraction rights across North America, permitting it to extract large volumes of water from public lands, springs, and aquifers, often siphoning far more than the law permits. The company effectively found a way to privatize access to water. Many communities have gone without water due to the company’s control over the water supply. The company has no concern for the environment or human rights, and this is merely the tip of the iceberg in terms of their corrupt practices.

What better way to control the masses than to control the water supply? Remember, the World Economic Forum has strongly advocated banning independent farming and gardening. Everything they ban is under the premise of protecting the climate, but as you can see, the new WEF CEO has never cared about the environment.

The WEF partnered with the United Nations to encourage “global policy coherence” and increased investment to manage the world’s water supply. It is no conspiracy – globalist entities are scheming ways to manage our water usage. These unelected entities believe they can deem what constitutes essential and non-essential water usage. Brabeck-Letmathe believes 98.5% of freshwater used for farming and agriculture should be classified as an economic good that is priced according to reduce waste. Controlling the water supply will permit them to also control the food supply.

Peter Brabeck-Letmathe has spent a lifetime studying methods for privatizing water. In the video above, Brabeck-Letmathe said that Klaus Schwab asked him why he wanted to focus on water over CO2 and the Earth’s warming. “I think our real problem is more urgent—it’s on the water side.” He later noted that governments must first believe that they have a water crisis and then partner with the private sector to solve this new problem. Agenda 2030 did not die with Schwab’s departure. There is a new leader at the helm and a new focus to usurp ultimate control over the global population.

There has been a Coup at the WEF for nefarious Reasons,, which we will discuss separately on the weekend

Biometrics Active – A Weird Thing Happened Returning Through Airport

Posted originally on CTH on April 24, 2025 | Sundance

As most of you know I have been traveling extensively. However, a strange thing happened today upon return through the airport.

Apparently, all of the test pilots for biometrics, real ID etc. are now linked and active.  As I approached the passport control kiosk with my passport in hand, the gentleman said “welcome back, enjoy the rest of your day,” and that was it.

I stood there for a second, asked if he needed my passport and he said, “no, you’re good. Go on through.”  It seems the facial recognition software is live.  You no longer need to show your U.S. passport or any ID when arriving through U.S. international passport control.

Now, I should say I have never signed up for TSA pre-check, Fast Track, or any other kind of Global Travel authentication.  I have always opted to just be a grey traveler with as little a footprint as possible.  I reentered the U.S. the same way in February and needed to show the traditional passport, etc. However, this time in April it was totally different. There is no longer any paperwork or documentation needed.  It actually, seemed a little weird.

I should also note the U.S. “opt-out” for facial scans is a little bit of a ruse; the reason is when you depart from a foreign country, destined to the USA, the facial recognition is mandatory.  The U.S. Dept of Homeland Security, TSA and Border Control, require all countries to authenticate the U.S. destined traveler at the point of exit.  It’s not optional in other countries, you either comply or you don’t get to come home to the USA.

Because it’s not optional in other countries, and because the database is connected to the U.S. border entry system, the fact you can opt-out of having your picture taken inside the USA is moot; your facial impression is already captured at your point of departure from the foreign country and shared with U.S. homeland security.

This appears to be how the interconnected systems are now recording travel.  By the time you reach the U.S. entry point, they already have a database of your biometrics to match your entry.  Cameras located facing toward the traveler as they approach the kiosk, cross reference the data and the passport control officer knows exactly what authorities for entry you carry as you approach.  Showing documentation such as your passport is no longer needed.

As I mentioned this on my X-account, several people affirmed to have recently experienced the same entry process.  Physical passports are no longer required regardless of whether you have opted-in to some pre-registration fast track travel system.  You simply walk through the passport checkpoints now and collect your luggage.

I have seen this in several countries with varying degrees of technological advancement.  However, it was usually when you are connecting from one flight to another within a singular international airport.  This is different.  This is the TSA/DHS database fully active with biometric, facial recognition scanning that you cannot avoid.

This process is obviously unavoidable now and given how much research CTH has done on the AI aspect to facial recognition (Palantir software), real id and enhanced biometrics that were being tested in various transportation hubs, it looks like the system is now fully active.  April 5th was the universal deadline for “Real ID” rollout, and I’m guessing sometime around then was the trigger date for the live activation of the system I just experienced.

All of that said, this notification by me is not to raise any alarms, it is simply to raise awareness.  The system is active, and you will likely experience it if you travel outside the USA and then reenter.

Everything seems cool, until you start to think about your biometric identity being attached to some form of travel approval.  Owe the govt money, you don’t get to travel until the issue is resolved etc.  You can see how this ‘slippery slope’ will likely play out.  Additionally, it does not take a deep weeds thinker to expand the consideration when this DHS/TSA system is in the hands of a certain type of political ideology in charge of it (weaponizing it).
