It is the gross overreaction of certain government and business leaders to the Wuhan coronavirus of 2020, otherwise known as COVID-19, that is the danger to the United States, not the virus itself. The abundance of data show that the virus is far less dangerous than the seasonal flu, and if the overreaction is not stopped and reversed immediately, it will severely damage the economy and the lives that depend on it.
Number of people who will die of COVID-19 illness will be a small fraction of those who die of the flu every season
The Center for Disease Control (CDC) estimates that during the 2019-2020 flu season since September 29, 2019 approximately 23,000-59,000 have died of the flu out of 231,654 confirmed cases. That’s a confirmed case fatality rate (CCFR) of roughly 10% to 25%. As of April 1, there have been 5,157 fatalities among 216,529 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the United States. That is a CCFR of about 2.4%—which is only about 10% to 24% of the CCFR of the flu. However, because most people with non-life threatening symptoms don’t present themselves to health facilities to be tested or counted for statistics, the CCFR for both illnesses vastly overestimate the actual chance of dying if infected: the infection fatality rate (IFR). To calculate the IFR, the number of fatalities is divided by the estimated number of people infected.
So how can we know what the IFR is for contracting COVID-19? If people who manifest similar symptoms are both hospitalized and tested for COVID-19 as they would be for the flu, then we can make a rough comparison between them. It is estimated by the CDC that about 38 to 54 million people have contracted the flu during the 2019-2020 season. If we divide the flu fatalities stated previously, by the estimated number of infections, it would mean a flu IFR that ranges from about 0.04% to 0.16%.

If we know that the CCFR of COVID-19 is about 10% to 24% of the CCFR of the flu, then the IFR of COVID-19 is most likely a similar fraction of the IFR of the flu: 10% to 24% of 0.04% to 0.16% results in an IFR for COVID-19 of approximately 0.004% to 0.04%. If that fatality rate holds, and a similar number of Americans contract COVID-19 as contract the flu, the total number of fatalities in the U.S. from COVID-19 would be at most about 21,600—almost all of whom would be very elderly and infirm or immune compromised. Even after the virus has run its entire course, under the worst case scenario, you would be about ten times more likely to be struck by lightning in your lifetimethan die from COVID-19.
Given those numbers, it becomes clear that the number of people who will die of COVID-19 illness will be a small fraction of those who die of the flu every season. So we should be asking questions that the hysteria promoting media are apparently avoiding:
Why haven’t states or the federal government ever taken these kinds of measures before for any other illness in history?
If the country is not shut down because of the flu, and wasn’t for the H1N1 swine flu of 2009, why shut it down for COVID-19?
How do the confirmed case rates of growth and fatality rates of growth in states with business closures compare with states without business closures?
What kind of effect can we expect the economic destruction caused by restrictions to have on long term health and mortality, including suicide?
Wouldn’t it make more sense to encourage the vulnerable to self-isolate, than to close businesses and restrict everyone?
If there is a safe and effective treatment (hydroxychloroquine/azithromycin) and a vaccine, why continue the restrictions?
Are these the kind of measures we can expect from now on for the seasonal flu or outbreaks of similar illnesses which regularly occur several times per decade? If not, why not?
If COVID-19 can remain viable on surfaces for days, what is the likelihood of not coming into contact with the virus when grocery stores, hardware stores, banks, and post offices remain open and people still handle store items, shopping carts, money, credit card terminals, and the daily mail?
If shopping at grocery stores is allowed, why is shopping at any other store different?
How is it moral to have the government prevent small businessmen and their employees from earning a living and then demand of them the tax money to pay government employees who are not working during that same period?
Where can people find the constitutional authority for the federal or state governments to shut down businesses, and restrict gatherings and internal travel?
What are the limits to government powers under a declaration of emergency?
A state-by-state examination of the graphs of COVID-19 confirmed cases and fatalities indicates no correlation between the imposition of business shutdowns and either the growth rate of infection or the growth rate of fatalities. On the other hand, it is well documented that economic decline leads to a decline in health and life expectancy. That makes sense. Wealth is dependent on productivity. Higher productivity creates a greater abundance of goods and services on which our health depends, which makes them more affordable: the basic resources we need, the quality of our medical care, the quality of our place of residence, greater freedom to engage in professions that are less hazardous or stressful, and time-off for relaxation and self-improvement. Sudden economic decline, particularly business failure, bankruptcy, and unemployment are also significant contributors to death by suicide. Ultimately, our health depends on our ability to keep doing, without interference, what each one of us does best.
Health will not be the only casualty of the overreaction, so will the American way of life and what we are conditioned to tolerate. Freedom to do what we do best as individuals and to trade freely with others with reliable currency, under a reliable system of laws that protect our rights, is the reason that Americans enjoy such a high standard of living in general. So far, various leaders in both major parties have undermined all of those things. Americans are being threatened with arrest for going to going to work, going to church, operating and patronizing businesses, and being told that their currency will be inflated to pay companies and individuals for doing nothing—none of which have any basis in the federal or state constitutions. Those on the left are already calling for using this opportunity to nationalize industries, socialize medicine, explode the debt, universalize the welfare state, and to violate constitutional rights and liberties. If we allow these un-American precedents to be set over the pretext of dealing with an illness that could be less dangerous than the flu, is there any reason to believe that the American way of life and our current standard of living is likely to continue?
Many individuals and small businesses cannot survive weeks of no income
Whatever your talent, skill, job, or business, do you believe that government interference helps you produce more and better goods or services at a lower cost? If not, then how would the emergence of a new virus change that? If the mandates, closures, and restrictions were not imposed, there would be no panic. Individuals and businesses would always move to fill any need, whether it be treatments and supplies for a fighting a disease, or new demand for certain household goods. Any shortages of ventilators, hospital beds, treatments, tests, and cures are the result of the heavy regulation over the field of medicine—many of which have come to the public’s attention due to the announcements of the temporary easing of some of them. The shortages in masks, toilet paper, and shelf-stable food items are caused by anti-gouging laws. Without them, prices could be temporarily raised to meet demand and discourage hoarding. What is worse, finding what you need at a temporarily elevated price, or not finding what you need at any price? Virtually everywhere you see shortages, government interference is responsible. Make no mistake: it is not the virus that is causing economic destruction: it is the government.
Many individuals and small businesses cannot survive weeks of no income. Not only will the proposed handouts not make up for their staggering losses, incurring debt to distribute printed “stimulus” or bailout money will cause even further economic destruction from inflation. If the state and federal governments ruin the economy with their overreaction, people will lose their jobs and businesses, goods and services will become more expensive, and quality of life will diminish. Time wasted in mandated idleness can never be recovered.
Many people will be misled to believe that the same government policies that caused the problems should be increased to solve them. That will make the adoption of a total welfare state, socialism, and a centrally planned economy more likely: all of which will permanently decrease quality of life and increase mortality far beyond what COVID-19 would ever have caused.
Our enemies are watching closely
Also, our enemies are watching closely. If we paralyze ourselves and destroy our economy because of something that is not even as bad as the flu, they must be imagining what would we do to ourselves if the virus had been more deadly. What reason would they have to not use that form of attack? This kind of weakness must not be shown to our enemies.
The precedent should never be set that this is the way to deal with a new contagious disease: putting people in a panic with grim tones and dour faces, getting people accustomed to dictatorial edicts, violating people’s constitutional rights with shutdowns and travel restrictions, increasing debt for “stimulus” and bailouts, and getting people used to receiving checks for doing nothing. It would be much better instead for the government to do nothing. That way, they won’t further interfere with the ability of the free market to meet people’s needs, including solving the problems caused by this illness or any other illness.
If politicians feel the urge to deflect media criticism by taking action, they should take the opportunity to make it clear to the American people that they have determined that COVID-19 is less dangerous than the flu, approve the existing vaccine for immediate use, repeal anti-gouging laws, and cut or eliminate the payroll tax. They should also immediately end all restrictions, and stop with the bailouts, handouts, and “stimulus” bills. In fact, every American should contact their governors, congressional representatives, and the White House and insist on those things.
Now is not the time for passive acceptance. Our health, wealth, liberty, and way of life are at stake, and so is our country.
Whomever you are, whatever you are doing at this very moment, the Chinese communists and their greedy, supremacist warmongers have ruined your lives. I can speak only for my life however, and here I will.

We don’t know the fate of the American economy, the best in world history under President Donald Trump. It probably lost trillions as well as America’s economic future—as America’s progressives are high-fiving each other because the Chinese have given it to The Man. 9-11 cost the US $1 Trillion. We are way past $3 Trillion in subsidies right now—and add the $8T market wipeout.
The cost in lives and treasure is incomprehensible.

All told, through massive corruption, self-dealing, pay-to-play and illegal activities, Obama arguably removed a trillion dollars from the public treasury to get himself re-elected.
The collusion, cooperation, coordination and conspiracy of America’s progressive elites to progressively fill their coffers, will become legend. While doing that, they continue to aid the Chinese communists to gain global supremacy.

Time sensitive indeed, if you don’t get it done now it may be too late. God forbid that you may actually have to act as a responsible person in America.
But the term “time sensitive” has a double entendre. Maybe it’s “time” for some of us to die and the unborn to live.
Seem too harsh? Remedy for that – witness an actual abortion and then when you can actually sleep at night again – grow up.
Abortion has sunk like a stone in the American psyche so deeply that even provoking someone to apply a miniscule dab of conscience to the subject seems offensive.
This writer has had people question me when I declared the well-known fact that, since 1973, 60,000,000 (sixty million) unborn human beings were discarded like ordinary refuse.
Others have asked me in total unbelief just where it is that the Bible describes a nation of ancient people that actually offered their infant children to an idol in a sacrifice. (Lev 18:21) Both the idol Molech and Baal called for infant sacrifices.
Those that asked the question were offended with the idea that human wickedness, (idolatry) and selfishness, (abortion) could be equally compared. But ignorance and selfishness have always shared the same throne.
Even a general theologian could answer the question of whether God does intervene in the affairs of men to bring judgments, calamities, pandemics et al. The simplest answer is all that is needed – yes!
But exactly when and how God acts in response to our deep immoralities and perversions would take a theological treatise. Let’s take the most direct route with what is known as the “great law of reciprocation.”

Has the coronavirus pandemic qualified under the great law of reciprocation to be labeled a return for our worst behaviors? You can answer for yourself, but for me, there is little doubt.
No one seemed to consider what to do with the massive amount of wind turbine blades once they reached the end of their lifespan. Thus, the irony of the present day Green Energy Movement is the dumping of thousands of tons of non-recyclable supposedly renewable wind turbine blades in the country’s landfills. 1

What’s even worse is that the amount of wind turbine blades slated for waste disposal is forecast to quadruple over the next fifteen years as a great deal more blades reach their 15-20 year lifespan. Furthermore, the size and length of the newly installed wind turbine blades are now twice as large as they were 20-30 years ago.
The wind turbine blades are a toxic amalgam of unique composites, fiberglass, epoxy, polyvinyl chloride foam, polyethylene terephthlate foam, balsa wood and polyurethane coatings. So, basically, there is just too much plastic-composite-epoxy material that isn’t worth recycling. 1
More than 720,000 tons of blade material will be disposed of over then next 20 years in the United States—a figure that does not include newer, taller higher-capacity turbines. Disposal of these blades—a byproduct of increasing wind generation—is becoming a growing problem. 2
A typical wind turbine has a foundation, a tower, a nacelle and three blades. The foundation is made from concrete, the tower is made from steel or concrete, the nacelle is made mainly from steel and copper, the blades are the most environmentally problematic at end of life since there are currently no established industrial recycling routes for them. Disposal at the end of life cycle must be considered but has been lacking. 3
Germany now has 29,000 wind towers. The nightmare of scrapping and decontamination has already started, with 250MW decommissioned last yer. Close to 10,000 towers must be decommissioned by 2023. One tactic has been to ship the toxic parts and rubble to African states to deal with the problem. 4
Other wind turbines have a six-figure decommissioning costs
There’s some public record material about decommissioning US wind farms, and it’s not reassuring. In Minnesota, the ten year old Nobles Wind farm has 134 turbines of about 1.5MW and is operated by Xeel Energy. Xeel estimates the cost for scrapping each turbine at up to $530,000 or $71 million total. Each turbine has a tip height of 120 metes. Just to scrap one 40m blade, involves crunching composite material weighing more than 6 tons.
As American Experiment points out, even $71 million doesn’t finance a thorough clean-up. The contracts oblige Xeel to restore the land to a depth of only about one meter, whereas the foundations go down 5 meters. Moreover, underneath the 56 square miles of this Minnesota wind farm is 140 km of cabling and pipes. The documents don’t say if the cables would stay or go. (4)
Other wind turbines have a six-figure decommissioning costs as well. According to utility documents for the Palmer’s Creek wind facility in Chippewa County, Minnesota, it would cost $7,385,822 to decommission the 18 wind turbines operating at that site, a cost of $410,000 per turbine. 5
The waste disposal site located near Casper, Wyoming will soon be filled with over 1,000 decommissioned wind turbine blades and motor housing units. The Wyoming House of Representatives recently agreed to the introduction of a bill that would ban the disposal of wind turbine blades in the state. Wyoming House Bill 217 would make it a misdemeanor to dispose of turbine blades and would impose fines of up to $1,000 for convictions. 2
Nationwide, there are nearly 50,000 wind turbines, with 2,700 being decommissioned, since the energy boom of the 1970s. Bloomberg New Energy Finance is expecting up to 2 gigawatts worth of turbines to be refitted this year and next. Each turbine blade will need between 30 and 44.8 cubic years of landfill space, using a total of 448,000 cubic yards of the 2.6 million yards set aside for construction and demolition material. This nearly 20 percent of total landfill space is enormous, given the amount of construction and demolition material disposed of in the United States. To prevent acres of abandoned and decaying wind farms, Wyoming laws require companies to provide bonds to cover the cost of decommission and disposal of turbines once they are taken out of service or abandoned. 2
Recycling turbine blades is more regulated in countries that have had wind power for decades. The European Union, for example, has waste management rules. Some European companies sell older and less efficient parts to customers in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Veolia, a German global utilities and waste management company, found that decommissioned blades can be crushed and burned along with other components in cement kilns where the blades transform into solid fuel that can be used in the cement industry. One American entrepreneur believes the blades can be recycled by grinding them up to make chocolate chip-sized pellets which can be used for decking materials, pallets, and piping. But, this option does not begin to deal with the massive disposal problem ahead for those countries well into wind generation, which is rapidly including the United States.
With an increasing dependence on wind generated electricity and the ever growing size of the turbines, the issues of waste from wind turbines is significant and evolving. Most state governments did not provide for the disposal of wind turbine blades despite implementing renewable standards that require the generation of electricity from wind or other forms of renewable energy. It appears that many never even thought about the potential side effects of mandating new forms of energy generation such as wind and solar, and are only now learning the consequences of their edicts. Some states have ridiculously high percentage requirements for renewable generation that only exacerbates this problem. 2
In short, disposing of wind turbines is a significant problem, with negative impacts on communities and the environment.

In Portugal, we have since Q42015 a left government. The first 4 years were a Socialist government with a kind of explicit support of Communist and Extreme Left. Since last year’s elections, the Socialists are again in power but now with an implicit support from the other two left parties. Portugal enjoyed a “nice” economic recovery, despite this left coalition based on two major things: Gold Visa programme (a law from previous right Government) and Tourism. The Gold visa will be canceled soon because the left says it’s only for criminals/money laundering and tourism… well we know that’s going on!

They all agreed that their targets have been Trump and Johnson as well as Merkel and the Netherlands. “this morning, I wanted to ship xxxxx and xxxxx to Greece, and as long as there is the virus blockade, there is no shipping possible.
Besides, at the post office, they gave me a flyer because of new, world-wide regulations of World Postal Union and International Post Corporation that letters up to 2 kg have to be digitally registered beforehand, since Jan. 2020, so that the recipient country knows about the content before shipping – the declaration can here be done online for free or at a post office with an extra fee….
But anyhow, they told me that they won’t be able to accept anything at the moment….
So the envelope will wait here until there is better “virus weather”… ”

REPLY: Yes, this is all about money. They want both taxes and to prevent people from shipping gold, cash, anything that can be used as a monetary instrument. Keep in mind you are also dealing with the lowest level of government workers. I tried to send as a gift a Roman coin in a necklace. They said it was illegal to send money in the mail. I tried to explain this was a Roman coin from a government that ended in 476AD. They said it was still money and illegal. I didn’t bother anymore. I took it back refiled the form and called it an antique and then it was fine.
Perhaps there has never been this sort of in-your-face abuse of power than what is going in in the justice system. Roger Stone is awaiting a 40-month prison sentence while Andrew McCabe enjoys life as a high-profile CNN commentator. Both made false statements, yet one is to go to prison and the other is untouchable. It does not stop there.
The whistleblower who created the Trump impeachment is so protected, and no one is allowed to even know his name. However, we have Julian Assange and Edward Snowden who they seek to imprison for life. There is something very wrong with the justice system. It has become a toy for political persecutions.
HOW TO REFORM THE LEGAL SYSTEM
I urge people to forward this to every politician you can and CC the White House. The justice system is out of control and ONLY the RICH can even afford to defend themselves. Congress can literally pass a law that you must kill your firstborn. They can do whatever they like. We have no right to even argue against such a law. The only person who would have such an opportunity must have what is called STANDING. That is created by the attempt of the government to ENFORCE the law. So in other words, if they prosecute your neighbor for refusing to kill their firstborn, you cannot go to court unless they prosecute you for the very same crime.
This is seriously a denial of Equal Protection of the Law. It allows for political and selective prosecution. They can put Stone in prison for life but they have the discretion not to prosecute McCabe. That is a gross injustice and it allows for political prosecutions as if we lived under Stalin.
The only way to solve this crisis is to REMOVE the discretion of prosecutors to indict people. They should submit their case to a committee in Washington that must approve every indictment. If this is done, then we can at least restore some justice to the system.
HOW TO REFORM THE SUPREME COURT
We then have the problem that Congress could pass a law that says you must kill your firstborn. They only way to challenge such a law is to defend against their attempt to prosecute you for violating that law. The Supreme Court should be expanded with another layer of Justices below who should rule on every law passed by Congress BEFORE it is enforced. In this manner, the poor are protected whereas only the rich can afford the tremendous cost to go all the way to the Supreme Court.
Anyone who thinks for one second that I am exaggerating by calling this a global coup does not know me very well. I do not buy into conspiracy theories. I rely upon qualified sources – not rumor or conjecture. I have WARNED that we are facing a leftist coup of major proportions. I have warned that this virus was not a real threat from the beginning. It was not a biological weapon spliced with aids or a leak. This has been an intentional misrepresentation. My sources suggest it existed in the previous flu season in China.
The United Nations, and their World Health Organization, is behind this coup as well. The death toll is far less than the annual flu (about 10%) but the press is so happy to support this Marxist agenda. The journalists who are following orders from their managing editors are sealing their own future and that of their families and children. They used this virus for there is no vaccine but there are plenty of independent sources saying the medicine to treat malaria have been working with no deaths in France and elsewhere.
The United Nations has now produced a 26-page report outlining an action plan to address the various socio-economic impacts of COVID-19 and the DESTRUCTION of the world economy that has been intentionally carried out by the left. The United Nations has been using Climate Change to try to create a one-world government order, but they have run into way too much resistance. Climate Change is now dead. They have moved on to something that allows them to threaten that people will die IMMEDIATELY unless they surrender all their freedoms. The agenda of the Climate Change was to seize industry and effectively nationalize them. They will do that now by virtually bankrupting them and the state will just take them over. This is the scheme that was even talked about in Germany to nationalize companies since they cannot bail them out.
This is the oldest trick in the book. The United Nations is seeking the power to IMPOSE a 10% global tax on everyone for what they are describing as a “global health crisis unlike any in the 75-year history of the United Nations.” This is because they conspired to create one out of a hyped up virus. You would think this is at the level of the Black Death.
Everything we have ever believed were our human rights are no longer valid. The left was trying to shut down all gun sales. Trump called gun shops essential for protection in light of rising civil unrest. This is the left moving AGGRESSIVELY to force their failed agenda to the ultimate power grab. The pension system is collapsing. All the promises they have made since World War II are crumbling to dust.
