FBI Supervisory Special Agent Joseph Pientka Testified The Review of Chris Steele was “Turned Off” By FBI Director of Counter Intel Bill Priestap

Within recently released transcripts of documents by Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham there is a deposition by FBI Supervisory Special Agent 1, Joseph Pientka.

SSA Pientka has always been a little bit of an enigma because his name, exclusively, has been redacted from every official government document within the full investigation of DOJ and FBI misconduct.  Even in tangential court documents (Flynn), related to Joseph Pientka and Peter Strzok’s investigative collaboration, Pientka is ALWAYS redacted from everything.   The system in DC essentially ‘ghosted’ him in all things.  Now, the nature of that motive is surfacing.

If the recent Senate transcripts are an indication of SSA Pientka’s side of the stories, it would appear the testimony and truthfulness of Pientka’s statements would be adverse to the interests of EVERYONE who framed the Trump-Russia narrative.

Within his testimony; and if we accept it is likely consistent with internal investigative statements to the IG and others; it appears Pientka realized the activity of the FBI was intentionally taken to hide the truth of how intelligence was weaponized against the Trump administration.

Joseph Pientka wanted to investigate Chris Steele in November of 2016 because he knew something was sketchy.  Following the use of Chris Steele to get the FISA warrant on Carter Page -and by extension the Trump administration- Pientka wanted to explore the motives of Steele and the contacts he was using to push his narrative.  That’s where FBI Director of Counterintelligence, Bill Priestap, steps in and stops Pientka.

“I recognized the significance of his reporting, the use in a FISA application. I had questions about our intel validation was ongoing in the Counterintelligence Division, and all of that contributed to my professional disagreement.”

[…] “My request was to the FBI director of intelligence for them to do what is considered an enhanced validation review, something outside and independent of the Counterintelligence Division.”

Pientka said that he was told that the enhanced review was “turned off” at Priestap’s direction, which led him to request a transfer off of the Crossfire Hurricane team.

“I had a professional disagreement with stopping the enhanced validation review,” Pientka said.

“This was a concern that you were so passionate about that it made you terminate your association with the case, the team, and go back to the Washington Field Office?” a Senate staffer asked Pientka.

“It was,” he replied.  [Daily Caller, Chuck Ross]

Pientka wanted to explore the motives of Steele and the contacts he was using to push his narrative.  FBI Director of Counterintelligence, Bill Priestap, steps-in and stops Pientka.

Bill Priestap did not want SSA Pientka to do a deep dive on Steele’s objectives, and as a result Pientka asked to leave the Trump-Russia investigation.  Quite simply Pientka didn’t want anything to do with it… or what the FBI “Crossfire Hurricane” team was doing.

Supervisory Special Agent Joseph Pientka III was first identified by Senator Chuck Grassley in May of 2018 as the second FBI agent involved in the 2017 interview of Lt. General Michael Flynn.

Frustrated by the FBI stonewalling his Senate inquiry, Chairman Grassley dropped the revelation publicly on May 11th, 2018, in a letter to the FBI.

[…] the Committee’s oversight interest in the underlying documents requested more than a year ago now outweighs any legitimate executive branch interest in withholding it. So too does the Committee’s interest in learning the FBI agents’ actual assessments of their interview of Lt. Gen. Flynn, particularly given the apparent contradiction between what then Directory Comey told us in March 2017 and what he now claims.

[…] In addition, please make Special Agent Joe Pientka available for a transcribed interview with Committee staff no later than one week following the production of the requested documents… (link)

The FBI never produced Supervisory Special Agent (SSA-1) Joe Pientka for Chairman Grassley’s committee, and the conflict between the Senate Judiciary Committee and the FBI was never reconciled.  (The DOJ/FBI made it to the safety of the mid-term election.)

Additionally, every single document containing information about the investigative activity of FBI agent Pientka has kept his name redacted.  Not a single DOJ/FBI document has ever included his name.

However, around two months after Grassley outed his identity; we discover from the Inspector General that the DOJ-NSD (National Security Division) admitted to the FISA court that Agent Pientka was significantly less than forthcoming with “factual omissions” in the Title-1 surveillance application he assembled against Carter Page.

While the IG report doesn’t name SSA-1 as Joseph Pientka, all documentary evidence supported that Pientka was indeed SSA-1.  [This was also confirmed by Fox News reporter Gregg Jarrett writing an article about SSA-1 Pientka, and by Jarrett being contacted by the FBI as soon as he outed the agent.]

In addition to the Flynn interview, the Inspector General Report notes the importance of SSA-1 as he pertains to the FISA application.

FBI Supervisory Agent Pientka’s lies and omissions to the FISC were material – and made under penalty of perjury. He knew the dossier was fraudulent. He knew about witness denials. In short, Pientka was willfully blind to the court about the FISA application’s accuracy.


After the FISA Court was notified in about the issues (July 2018), and before the IG report outlining the conduct of SSA1 was complete (Dec. 9, 2019)… sometime in mid 2019 Joseph Pientka was promoted by FBI Director Christopher Wray and transferred to the San Francisco FBI Field Office

Pientka bailed out and went to work in the San Francisco Field Office.  The DC insiders then worked to keep Pientka far away, and put into place a network operation to keep him hidden.  Even his arrival at the San Francisco Field Office was scrubbed after CTH noted there was a brief mention of his new position:  BEFORE:

If the current statements made by Pientka had been made public, there is a strong likelihood the entire Trump-Russia narrative would have collapsed.

Throughout 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, SSA1 Pientka was in position to bring a lot of sunlight to the corrupt intents of the DOJ, FBI and the Robert Mueller team.

It now appears that after Joseph Pientka realized the FISA application was fraudulent; and after he notified the FBI and Mueller Team he was not willing to go along with the fraud and corrupt intent; he was ostracized and shipped to San Francisco.

From the testimony he gave on Tuesday August 27, 2020.  He was still there…

Just like FBI Special Agent in Charge, Brian Dugan (ie. the James Wolfe investigation), there are FBI agents who could destroy the network of corruption that was taking place within the DOJ and FBI from 2015 (Strzok et al) though 2019 (Mueller et al).   This is not up for debate.

Keep in mind, as a personal commitment to the truth; and out of an abundance of granting the benefit of the doubt to the Department of Justice; I have personally walked through lead John Durham investigator, William Aldenberg, on the location of each of these potential whistle-blowers and the evidence they possess.

Both FBI SSA Joseph Pientka and FBI SSIC Brian Dugan hold information that is ultimately connected to the larger operations… which also touches deeply into the Senate Intelligence Committee motive and the Mueller probe motive.  The information is silo’d  and segmented, but CTH pulled each part out of the individual compartments and handed it to William Aldenberg (John Durham’s lead investigator).

To date, nothing has been done…

The House Judiciary ranking member Rep. Doug Collins delivered a speech on the floor against the Impeachment. What he points out is critical. Pelosi declared Trump guilty with no evidence and pushed it on him to prove he was innocent. She has indeed trashed the Constitution and in her personal vengeance to rush to impeach before he would leave office, she has not just rushed to judgment but revealed just how the United States has fallen from the rule of law. Once a nation abandons the rule of law, it cannot possibly survive.

It is one thing to write what Socrates is forecasting about the decline and fall of the United States and Western Society and something entirely different when one must watch that forecast unfold day by day. This speech of Mr. Collins was spot on. Pelosi simply hates Trump and was more eager to ensure that she did her best to try to destroy his image, his business, and she called upon her Social Media co-conspirators to shut down all comment that supported Trump or was anti-Democratic. In her actions from tearing up the State of the Union speech to this rush to impeach, Pelosi will be remembered as the vilest person to ever hold the position of Speaker of the House.

Every person who voted for this impeachment has revealed their total lack of respect for the Constitution. Her proxy votes meaning people were not even there and others voted for them was unheard of in the history of our nation. I am not a fan of career politicians. This incident has marked a new low. The former head of Russia, Gorbachev, has come out and stated that the Capitol invasion calls into question the stability of the US as a state. He is absolutely correct. The Democrat’s drive for socialism has brought the US to the bring of collapse claiming a 50.4% majority is somehow a mandate to crush the opposition with the help of Twitter and Facebook.

I have been following your blog for the last 7 years. Sokrates’ analyses are astonishing. Coming from a postwar Generation, having fled in 1946 from the Communists in Czechoslovakia with my parents, who lost all the possessions in the Berlin bombings and what they salvaged to be taken by the Communists I feel deeply disturbed by the World events taking place. In Austria, we have Government Radio called FM4 targetting the younger Generation. Propaganda has reached a peak. In the news, they commented that, after the Capitol Event, Families are reporting on their next of kin with social media to the FBI!
This is exactly how Hitler started to divide and persecute the Population at large. The same Practice by the East German STASI Secret Police!°
The “Corona Laws ” throughout Europe with their insane Lockdowns are so deliberately Anti Constitution, to prepare us for Totalitarian Rule!

I have been getting emails of people seriously ill after getting the vaccines and a surge of deaths that are happening around the world which are being suppressed in the Uni8ted States because this vaccine is political. I have a report from all over Europe but at last, Norway has come out and warned that people who are frail should not be taking the vaccine. There are nursing homes reporting deaths after being vaccinated within a week has exceeded 5% reaching even up to 10% in some cases. Now we have even China defending its own people which is not happening in the United States because this disease was hyped up to scare everyone to achieve the mail-in ballots. After deaths in Norway, now China has banned both Pfizer and BioNTec vaccines. 

This is a deplorable state of affairs when we have politicians demanding vaccines to cover-up their use of this virus to destroy the economy and dethrone Trump. How low can our politicians sink? They are willing to allow Americans to be killed or seriously injured while grants the vaccine companies total immunity! Why should they produce a safe product when they are immune. We have witnessed what Twitter and Facebook have done in the process of their immunity.

QUESTION: Do you see major volatility with the inauguration?

ANSWER: We can see that volatility will rise this week for the 20th, it still does not seem to be the major turning point that the week of the 4th has been probably with hindsight.  We do see a rise in volatility this coming week, but the trend was clearly made the week of the 4th. More significantly, it appears that indeed the Republican Party will split for the “establishment” thinks they can get it back to normal by impeaching Trump to be lapdogs of the Democrats in hopes of getting a few table scraps. They are basically traitors to the people for they want the swamp to continue and will never defend the Constitution.

What is grossly being misunderstood is that somehow this is just “Trumpism” whereby Trump did not create this movement of anti-establishment. It has been festering for some time and even the rise of the Tea Party within the Republicans was the most recent beginning. The mainstream media cannot see their nose in front of their face and they are contributing to what will emerge as a civil war. When the courts REFUSED to listen and they would not allow any investigation of the election, then they are shutting off any “civil” solution and they are inciting violence. Courts are there to provide a civil resolution. The blood will be on the hands of Chief Justice Roberts as the blood of the Civil War was on the hands of Chief Justice Taney.

For 2022, we will see utter chaos for the Democrats, which have a much wider collation of diverse groups, will also splinter. So the 2022 election will be total chaos. The Democrats are still in a bear market constantly making lower highs despite the fact that they control all three – White House, Senate, and House. In total, their hold dropped to 50.4% on a combined level. This is what makes this election so serious. The Democrats do not have a mandate and to change the very core of the United States will only invite civil war.

Therefore, our model highlighted the week of the 4th as the real turning point. The inauguration appears to be merely the culmination of that trend. Nevertheless, the wall they have constructed around the Capitol may last beyond the inauguration because they realize they have only a 50.4% majority, and the more they move toward the World Economic Forum’s Build Back Better Agenda 2030, the more even conservative Democrats will abandon their party as well. The Democrats seem to be taking advice from Venezuela. Surround the Capitol with the Military to protect them.

President Trump Takes a Hit for the Team

“The Republican nominee for president will be that candidate who best learns that there is no future in apologizing,” I wrote in a June 10, 2015, column. Six days later Donald Trump descended the escalator at Trump Tower and, in so doing, launched the most volatile period in American history since the Civil War.

I wish I could say I had Trump in mind when I wrote the above, but as right as my prediction proved to be, I did not even know Trump was running. His refusal to back down or apologize came at a huge personal cost, but the rest of us, including his enemies, benefited from his un-Republican-like willingness to punch back when punched.

The benefits came in two primary forms: what Trump accomplished as president and what he exposed. The last few months, and the last week especially, were all about exposure. We will get to this in a minute, but first a quick brief on Trump’s accomplishment.

No matter how visceral their loathing of Trump, even our leftist friends benefitted from four years of peace and prosperity. So vibrant was the economy in early 2020 that it pushed us through the globalist fear pandemic in relatively good order. Enjoy the fruits of that economy while you can. They won’t last.

As to peace, Trump launched no new wars, nor did he expand any old ones. No president since Jimmy Carter can make this claim, and Carter accomplished his peace through submission. Trump accomplished his through strength: a military rebuilt, North Korea subdued, Russia restrained, China looking over its shoulder, Israel making new friends throughout the region.

Of universal benefit, too, were the trade deals that Trump pulled off. In 2016, these deals were on the agenda of no other candidate from either party. In 2019, the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), which replaced the disastrous NAFTA, passed a Democrat-controlled House 385-41. In his eight years, Barack Obama had no bipartisan accomplishment of this magnitude, nothing close.

From the conservative perspective, Trump’s most enduring accomplishment were the judicial appointments, a high percentage of whom are constitutionalists, nearly 500 at all levels, including three in the Supreme Court.

Although another Republican president might have secured, as Trump did, deregulation, tax cuts, and energy independence, none other would have dared to build a wall, help move the capital of Israel to Jerusalem, speak at the March for Life, or rescue us from the delusional Paris Accord.

Then too, despite four years of media race baiting, Trump secured the highest Republican percentage of minority votes in sixty years, not to mention 12 million more total votes than any Republican had ever received.

Reportedly, Louisiana Governor Huey Long was once asked, “Do you think we will ever have Fascism in America?” Said Long, “Sure, only we’ll call it anti-Fascism.” What Trump exposed, and which may prove of more lasting value than what he accomplished, was the real-life unfolding of Long’s paradox.

Even before Trump was elected, he had panicked the bipartisan deep state into overreaction. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan refused to appear with Trump on stage in Wisconsin. Hillary Clinton and the DNC meanwhile launched the Russia collusion hoax as a dirty trick operation, and the Obama administration finessed it, with the help of the FBI and CIA, into the foundation for a coup. The media meanwhile cheered the coconspirators on.

On August 15, 2016, the FBI’s Peter Strzok memorably signaled the shared motive of all the conspirators. “There’s no way [Trump] gets elected — but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk,” he texted FBI lover Lisa Page. “It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40.”

As the coup progressed, renegade Rolling Stone reporter Matt Taibbi said out loud what should have been obvious to everyone on his side of the barricades, “Being on any team is a bad look for the press, but the press being on team FBI/CIA is an atrocity, Trump or no Trump.”

The major media were well beyond caring about appearances. Laughably, in 2018, the Washington Post shared a “national reporting” Pulitzer with the New York Times “for deeply sourced, relentlessly reported coverage in the public interest that dramatically furthered the nation’s understanding of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.” Not since the Times’ Walter Duranty won a Pulitzer for concealing the Soviet terror-famine has the prize been awarded so promiscuously.

In gauging scores in sports like diving and figure skating, judges factor in a “degree of difficulty.” No president since Lincoln has labored under a higher degree of difficulty than Trump. I cannot recall seeing a positive headline in any major media during the duration of his presidency. The fact that America’s most beautiful and stylish first lady never made it onto the cover of a magazine suggests just how monolithic was the opposition. And still Trump never apologized, never backed down.

In the 2020 election, Trump showed us just how inherent was the Left’s fondness for fascism. Big Tech crossed something of a Rubicon two weeks before the election when its agents colluded in censoring the Hunter Biden story. Big Media helped their allies across.

With the story blocked, Biden had a chance of winning. Using COVID as a cover, Democratic operatives in key states just had to steal thousands more votes than usual. Big Media and Big Tech colluded by mocking those who dared question the rigging of the election, and the FBI sat on its hands. Although Trump had carried congressional Republicans to unexpected wins, most collaborated with the conspirators by either keeping silent or scolding Trump for daring to question the outcome.  

The “fascist” movement began with Italy’s Benito Mussolini. He took the name of his party from the Latin word fasces meaning a bundle of rods gathered together in one strong hand. Starting in ten days all the rods will be gathered — the presidency, the House, the Senate, Big Tech, Big Media, Hollywood, the CIA, the FBI, perhaps even the military. Just in the last few weeks, their collective eagerness to suppress dissent has shown up their mentors in the CCP.

To enforce the new order at the street level, the Left has developed its own private army. In a marvelous bit of self-parody, the bully boys of the new fascism, the Left’s own SA, call themselves anti-fascists or Antifa for short. Huey Long had the last laugh on that one.

With his back to the wall, Trump rallied the last bulwark against this encroaching tyranny, the American people. In so doing, he showed the comically obvious hypocrisy of the Left’s support for “largely peaceful” protests.

Although events this past week did not appear to work out as we might have liked, appearances can be deceiving. There were lessons learned, eyes opened. It seems somehow providential that the people’s protest at the “People’s House” occurred on the Epiphany.
