Beating the Regulations
Armstrong Economics Blog

COMMENT: Dear Marty,
you repeatedly talked about the absurdity and stupidity of government regulations. I hope you like this one:
After the end of the World Economic Conference 2016 last night the hotel bar closed at 2:00 a.m. because there is a law in Florida that says “Bars have to close at 2:00 a.m. The barkeeper told us (international people from New Zealand, South Africa, USA, Switzerland, Germany and I don’t know where else from). The bar closes right now but you can order drinks at your room. So I (german) said: “OK, let’s order drinks to someone’s room and take them down here to the bar.” One guy standing next to me coming from New Zealand said: “Fine, I’ll do it.” After 10 minutes he returned with our drinks and we were rolling on the floor laughing! So to undermine the system you need an anti-authoritarian Kraut to work out the strategy and a courageous Kiwi to execute it.
Thank you for this great conference here in Orlando and bringing together all these amazing people from all over the world!
We really appreciate it!
Kind regards,
M

Anti-American Protesters Storm Trump’s Office

The anarchy continues as the anti-democratic protesters storm the offices of Trump’s transition team. These people are intolerant of anyone else who disagrees with them and it is clear they would rather turn the United States into a dictatorship than a democratic state. What is very clearly emerging is this is an organized effort to try to stop Trump from becoming president. This is the very essence of a revolution that is highly dangerous unless it is stopped.
Cast of Hamilton Show How Politically Ignorant they Truly Are

The audacity of the cast of Hamilton booed Pence when he attended. They showed how ignorant they truly are of politics and how they are fueling the great divide in the United States that threatens civil war all because they totally lack any comprehension of reality. It does not matter who the President might be, nobody can engage in discrimination for race, creed, or gender. However, they can impose an affirmative test to ensure someone is not a terrorist or rapist coming from countries attempting to infiltrate the West and alter the very fabric of our culture that they happen to despise.
I would fully agree with such political statements IF a politician ATTEMPTED to carry such a policy out. Trump has not even attempted such a policy nor has he spoke about doing so. These people are totally ignorant of the refugee crisis in Europe and the thousands of rapes of girls even in pools. They should start looking at international news before they try to support something they obviously have no idea about.
Tickets for Hamilton are the most expensive on Broadway and sell for $500-$2,000. I think they are absurd in their political statements when they are the HIGHEST paid on Broadway in history.

Trump is Asking for Your Suggestions – Interesting – Let’s See
The election may be over, but our work is just getting started.
In 61 days, we begin our mission to Make America Great Again!
As I’ve said so many times before, I will not be able to do it alone. I’ll need you to step up and play an active role in fixing our country and enacting our platform for America.
Our first hundred days in office will set the stage for our entire presidency.
The world will be watching every action we take over those first hundred days. It’s incredibly important that we set the right agenda and deliver on our promises to the forgotten men and women of our country.
While our transition team is busily assembling our cabinet as I write this to you, I need you to step up and help craft our plan of action for the first hundred days of the TRUMP Administration.
Thank you,
Donald J. Trump
