EU to Surrender Russian Assets to Ukraine

The United States discussed plans to provide Ukraine with a loan paid out with Russian assets that have been frozen since the start of the war. The bulk of frozen Russian assets lie in Europe, and the European Union has announced its plans to “make Russia pay” by allocating those assets to Ukraine to fund its war against Russia directly.

Ukraine will receive $1.6 billion in frozen Russian assets this July, according to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen who spoke at the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024 on June 11. She stated that 90% of stolen Russian funds will go directly to defense, while the other 10% will be put toward the reconstruction effort. “My friends we have always said that Russia must be held accountable for its crimes and now we make Russia pay,” von der Leyen said.

I already noted that President Joe Biden said Ukraine will receive a loan of up to $3.7 billion through 2025. The elites claim these funds amount to money that the Russian oligarchs stole from the Russian people, but that is simply not the case. The West has confiscated assets from a foreign nation during a time of peace as Ukraine is not in the NATO alliance. Now the West is using those illegally confiscated assets to attack its adversary. This is complete and total economic warfare.

No one knows where the money that is packaged as Ukrainian aid actually goes. Portions are funneled back into the military-industrial complex and paid out to the very nations supplying aid. Everyone acts on the invisible hand in their own best interest. None of these aid packages were meant to be a handout, and Ukraine would suffer the repercussions.

Russia was patient as the West held their citizen’s wealth hostage. Putin has said numerous times that he is fighting a war with the West and not Ukraine at this point in time. Russia would have easily defeated Ukraine had there been no interference, and Russia would have never invaded in the first place had their been no interference (see: Minsk Agreement). Boris Johnson took it upon himself to go to Ukraine the moment peace was on the table to foil that plan.

Economic warfare is now on the table. China has been watching. Europe and the US are not at war in China, Taiwan is not in NATO, but nothing is preventing them from seizing Chinese assets over Taiwan and claiming that they are merely fighting for freedom. There is no longer respect for international law; the rules no longer apply.

India Angers China with Neutrality on Taiwan

India has made an attempt to remain neutral throughout this massive world conflict. They are in BRICS, conduct business with the West, and abstained from voting for ceasefire between Israel and Palestine. Yet it is not possible to remain neutral amid such intense tensions between nations. India recently angered China by accepting a congratulatory message from Taiwan’s newly appointed president.

“I look forward to closer ties as we work towards mutually beneficial economic and technological partnership,” Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi told Lai Ching-te after Taiwan’s new president congratulated him on his re-election. Lai Ching-te posted on social media that he looks forward to “enhancing the fast-growing Taiwan-India partnership.”

Taiwan is expected to hire up to 100,000 Indian workers, while India is posed to open trade with Taiwan. India does not officially have a stance on the One China policy but China views any neutrality as aggression. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning released a statement after the short interaction between Modi and Lai Ching-te.

“First of all, there is no such thing as ‘president’ of the Taiwan region. As for your question, China opposes all forms of official interactions between the Taiwan authorities and countries having diplomatic relations with China. There is but one China in the world. Taiwan is an inalienable part of the territory of the People’s Republic of China,” Ning said when asked about the Modi-Lei exchange. “The one-China principle is a universally recognised norm in international relations and a prevailing consensus in the international community,” Mao said, adding, “India has made serious political commitments on this and is supposed to recognise, be alarmed about and resist the Taiwan authorities’ political calculations. China has protested to India about this.”

India has been on the rise. It is willing to conduct business with anyone, but that may come at a price if it angers the wrong trading partners. Taiwan and India signed the Bilateral Investment Agreement (2018), Air Services Agreement (2016), and Labor Cooperation Pact (2024). Trade between India and Taiwan reached $7.7 billion in 2021, and over 100 Taiwanese companies are now invested in India.

It remains to be seen how long India can remain neutral, not just in the Indo-Pacific but amid growing global tensions. Still, India is prioritizing domestic interests first and foremost and reaping the benefits.

Throughout history, the LEFT is ALWAYS more violent because at the very core of their belief system is that they are always the victim who is not as successful as others, and they tend to be brainwashed into this mantra that has been around for thousands of years. Their actions violate the Ten Commandments, which are rooted in prohibitions one finds in the legal codes of Assyrians and Babylonians. That makes sense since Abraham came from the City of Ur, an important Sumerian city-state in ancient Mesopotamia.

Sparta was a communist state, standing against democracy and private wealth. To prevent individual wealth and decadence, Sparta refused to mint coinage when every city in Greece issued its own coinage. Sparta only used these iron spits for transactions to ensure nobody would ever be able to have too much.

Interesting Development Inside Hungarian Election Outcome – Transparent Activity by U.S. State Dept and CIA

All political watchers will understand the #1 EU political enemy of the WEF globalists and U.S/NATO State Dept is Hungarian President Viktor Orban.  The western globalists, leftists, communists and advocates of multinational corporations running government (ie Fascists) consider Orban their arch nemesis.

To wit, USAID and CIA operative Samantha Power has spent time organizing political opposition in Hungary.  However, for some reason the nationalist alliance in alternative media do not have a good memory to keep track the footprints and connect the dots; but we do.

The reality of our State Dept organizing political opposition in Hungary is not disputed. It was done openly.

Fast forward a year+ since Mrs Power, aka Mrs Cass Sunstein, was on the ground in Hungary doing her color revolution activity, and what you we see blazing across all leftist media headlines today, “Orban Invincibility Shattered as Hungarian Upstart Takes Off”…  Hmmm, Suspicious Cat assembles notes.

♦ (Bloomberg) – “Upstart politician Peter Magyar smashed Hungary’s image as a country with no alternative to Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s rule by surging to second place in European Parliament elections.”  (link)

♦ (Reuters) – “Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s Fidesz party was on track for its worst result in a national or EU vote in nearly two decades at Sunday’s European Parliament election, where a political newcomer trounced all other opposition parties.” (link)

♦ (Politico) – “Péter Magyar  — a former ruling party insider-turned-rival — and his Tisza party scored 29.7 percent, with 99 percent of ballots counted. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s Fidesz and its smaller allies scored 44.6 percent, significantly lower than polls had predicted.” (link)

Do a little review and digging and you find Mr. Peter Magyar was inside Orban’s party but stifled by Viktor Orban never leaving power.  A classic career conundrum position.  Then suddenly, something spurred Mr Magyar to depart the party of Orban and organize a fast (check timeline for synergy with Samantha Power in Hungary here) party in opposition. …”A political newcomer, Magyar swooped into Hungarian politics earlier this year.”

Bingo presto… Ms. Power visits Hungary, Mr Magyar departs Fidesz party and creates the Tisza party. …” In a whirlwind campaign across Hungary, Magyar organized the biggest anti-government protests since Orban’s return to power in 2010.” (link)

What’s the wedge issue play?

This one is easy….  MONEY!

The EU is holding back billions owed to Hungary because the EU doesn’t like that Orban refuses to maintain the Ukraine narrative as pushed by the State Dept./NATO.   President Viktor Orban talks too nicely about Russia and wants a peaceful solution to the fighting.   As Reuters notes, “Orban has roiled EU and NATO allies by maintaining close business ties with Russia even after its invasion of neighbouring Ukraine and by refusing to send weapons to Kyiv.”

…”The EU continues to withhold about €20 billion ($22 billion) of funding earmarked for Hungary due to graft and rule-of-law concerns during Orban’s 14-year rule, which has seen the once liberal, anti-communist leader morph into a far-right politician with close ties to Russia and China. Mr. Peter Magyar says if he takes power, he can get the €20,000,000,000 back for Hungary, easy peasy.

I bet he can.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has been directly in the crosshairs of the western alliance, specifically the EU and U.S. bureaucrats who use their power, position and intelligence apparatus to manipulate foreign nations.  Check the timeline for the creation of the opposition party and you will note USAID Administrator Samantha Power in Hungary openly discussing her seeding of NGO’s and political activist systems in order to generate another color revolution. {Direct Rumble Link} – WATCH:

Canada Institutionally Rationalizes Oppression

Ever since the U.S. election of 2016, and to a lesser extent the Brexit referendum months earlier, I have read a dozen or so government publications about the general subject of interference in the election process.  What I find common amid each of those government reviews, is a general leftist theme that democracy must be protected from election outcomes.

I know that last sentence sounds a little goofy, but that’s because leftism is exactly that weird and fraught with hypocrisy.

Keep in mind, right now in Europe Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has banned any political opposition and cancelled elections in his country in order to “preserve democracy.”  Meanwhile, the western politicians clap like seals and beclown themselves in support of the ridiculous assertion.

Do you remember the statement, “words progressives do not support are defined as violence; and violence progressives do support are defined as protests.”

Well, in the electoral version of that same theme, election outcomes leftists do not support are defined as threats to democracy; while manipulated election outcomes the leftists do support are defined as trustworthy.

This is the essential context for a rather alarming publication from the Canadian Government that says many of their elected politicians are working for foreign governments.  The Canadian National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians published a report last week saying unnamed lawmakers in Canada’s parliament (and there are many of them) have helped foreign actors meddle in Canadian government.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been on the defensive since the allegations broke Monday. Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is calling on the government to name names.

“The national security committee indicates there are members of this House that have knowingly worked for foreign hostile governments,” Poilievre said Wednesday. “Canadians have a right to know who and what is the information — who are they?”

The findings put pressure on Canada’s national police force to investigate potential criminal charges. The report also refuels debate on the ability of the federal government’s deterrence mechanisms to curb foreign interference in a country whose political and legal system is considered one of the highest-performing in the world.

The committee with top-security clearance said it based its findings on more than 4,000 documents and some 1,000 pieces of evidence. Its report said China remains the largest foreign interference threat to Canada with India the second.

The intelligence included a claim that unnamed parliamentarians are taking direction from unnamed diplomats to “improperly influence” their colleagues or parliamentary business to the benefit of a foreign state.

It tasked Justice Marie-Josée Hogue with investigating foreign interference and election meddling, a topic that has also captured the interest of U.S. Congress.

To reassure the public the Canadian government and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s administration have stated that sunlight on the named politicians who are working on behalf of foreign governments will not be permitted.

No one in public will be allowed to know which politicians are working as foreign agents.

If you are a Canadian trucker against COVID mandates, you are a threat to democracy.  If you are a Canadian politician working as a foreign agent, it’s all good.

How about that, eh?

Why is Keynesian Economics Collapsing?

John Maynard Keynes in his 1936 book, ‘The General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money,” argued aggregate demand was too volatile to be stable and would lead to inflation or recessions. His theory honed in on spending as a means of price control. Low aggregate demand, Keynes argues, would lead to high unemployment and stagflation. Government could intervene through fiscal policies to increase aggregate demand, as an example, increased government spending could tame inflation. Interest rates, according to Keynes, could also be modified to encourage spending and stimulate demand. So why are these theories failing miserably today?

To begin, the United States had a balanced budget when Keynes presented his theory. The government is now the biggest borrower, acting in its own self interest under Adam Smith’s theory of the invisible hand that Keynes spent his career attempting to deny. According to Keynes, “there is no self-correcting mechanism in a free market economy that automatically restores full employment.” He believed that the government could change the business cycle but arguably regretted this notion on his deathbed.

Keynesian economics gave the government the green light to manipulate the economy, or at least make numerous failed attempted to do so. There is that old joke about communism that you can vote your way in but must shoot your way out, seemingly fitting to the utter disaster governments have created in regards to our economic situation.

The government is by far the biggest borrower. Raising interest rates can have no impact on demand, as the government will simply borrow more, and the central banks simply have no say. During the Great Depression, for example, Washington forced the Federal Reserve to implement QE policies to artificially lower rates to increase demand. Yet, when Washington ordered the Federal Reserve to do the same during the Korean War in 1951, the central bank first broke with Washinton and refused to comply as it knew it would hurt the economy as America’s budget was no longer balanced.

Quantitative Easing destroyed the Keynesian model, and there is now no other alternative for central banks to control the economy. If they raise rates, the budget explodes. The Keynesians advocate manipulating demand and advocate fiscal spending that the central bank cannot control. However, the other part of Keynesianism is the manipulation of taxes. Keynes argued that to stimulate demand, you lower taxes. He saw this correctly, but again, it does not fit with government agendas.

There is no limit to what the government will spend with “money” that simply does not exist. Governments continue to borrow perpetually with no real intention of paying back their debts. This is one piece of the Sovereign Debt Crisis that will implode like a nuclear bomb the likes of which we have never witnessed. The business cycle cannot be manipulated, and what’s more, the Keynesian model cannot account for declining confidence in both government and the economy.

European Elections Promise a Chaotic Summer

COMMENT: Mr. Armstrong, you were right again, or your computer was, that the June elections would be a major upset. The far right has gained in France, Germany, and the Netherlands. You said in London that Le Pen should win in the 30% range. It looks like she has 31.5%.

REPLY: This should come as no surprise; I am more astonished that politicians are so ignorant of the trend that they appear once in power; they become drunk and assume they can do as they like, and their own people cheer. Turn the economy down as our ECM has done as of May 7th, 2024, and the politics will ALWAYS change. I do not even need Socrates to make that forecast. It is a simple historical fact. Even Herbert Hoover was elected at the top in 1928 and since the ECM peaked in 1929.75, they were naming shanty towns – Hooverville. Of course it was not his policies, but that does not matter. Turn the economy down, and you will ALWAYS get political change or civil unrest.

Macron has called a Snap Election June 30th with the second round July 7th. Mcron was the peacemaker at first, but he has flipped and become the leader of the warmongers. I have warned that was likely because his popularity had crashed and as such they think that they can retain power by going to war for typically in war people do not change horses. However, when we look at the dates, we have a Directional Change for the week of June 3rd, and that has panned out as expected, with serious political gains for the far right. Now look at the target of July 8th, when the second round will take place. Note the sharp right in volatility leading into a Panic Cycle by the end of July.

Even when we look at the timing array from last April, May was the target, and then look at the trend from June into August with a Panic Cycle in September. So far, these European politicians have created inflation, attacked farmers without just cause, threatened war with Russia, and ignored citizens’ concerns, yielding to extreme movements such as the Climate Change nutjobs without ANY scientific evidence whatsoever. They have stood by silently while the American Neocons blew up Nord Stream, singing fuel prices higher and undermining the German economy. But, hey – we have to get Putin! Is it any wonder why the LEFT has lost? Even the Greens in Germany lost big time. Philippe Lamberts of Germany’s Greens/EFA had to admit that the exit poll was “not a victory” for their movement.

After initial projections, the far-right in France with the National Rally (RN) party of Le Pen came out on top with 31.5% of the vote, more than double the share of Macron’s Renaissance Party, which barely made it to second place with 15.2% of the vote, just ahead of the Socialists in third with 14.3% of the vote.

In Portugal, it was their center-left Socialist Party (PS) that appeared to be heading for a marginal victory as they positioned less than 1% ahead of the center-right Democratic Alliance (AD), according to an exit poll from the European Parliament.

Manfred Weber, the chair of the European People’s Party (EPP), one of the war-mongering establishments, said he would try to shut far-right parties out of any governing coalition. This is how arrogance prevails over democracy. He effectively declared business as usual. He was turning more to the left, urging them to be more mainstream and join the EPP’s “pro-European, pro-democratic alliance.”

Sacre’ Bleu! – The French Peasants Have Revolted as Macron Dissolves Parliament and Calls for Immediate Snap Election

French President Emmanuel Macron was pulverized in the national election today.  According to exit polling, Marine LePen’s National Rally party will win around 32% of the vote, while Macron’s Renaissance party will win around 15%.

PARIS — French President Emmanuel Macron dissolved parliament and called a fresh election on Sunday, following his party’s crushing defeat at the hands of far-right candidates in the European Union election.

The first round of the French Parliamentary election will take place on June 30. The second will be on July 7.

“France needs a clear majority in serenity and harmony. To be French, at heart, is about choosing to write history, not being driven by it,” Macron said.

The far-right National Rally is projected to win the European election in France with 31.5 percent of the vote — more than twice the 15.2 percent Macron’s liberal Renaissance party is projected to win.

The National Rally’s share of the vote eclipsed the total for the second and third largest parties combined — with the center-left social democrats earning around 14 percent, according to early exit polls.

The decision to dissolve the National Assembly was met with disbelief by Macron’s supporters, with several people screaming “Oh no” as he spoke to a crowd in a televised address from his party headquarters in Paris. (read more)

Overall, in the EU elections this weekend the populist movement expanded seats and the leftist/green party’s lost seats.

(MSM) – […] Populist, far-right parties won record support in this year’s European Parliament elections, early exit polls and estimates indicated on Sunday.

The far-right Identity and Democracy group made major gains, while the right-wing European Conservatives and Reformists saw a slight uptick in votes, according to the first official projection released by the EU at 8:30 p.m. local time.

The center-right European People’s Party is once again projected to win the most parliamentary seats, with a marginally bigger lead than before. If it’s able to repeat alliances with other centrist groups then it would retain a majority in the Parliament despite a surge from the far right.

The liberal Renew Europe and the Greens/European Free Alliance, meanwhile, are both seen losing a significant number of seats.

Here is the early 2024 vote breakdown versus 2019:
