Black People Do Not Suffer Disproportionately From Police Brutality

Milwaukee BLM Protesters, almost all White????

Re-posted from Just the Facts By James D. Agresti

A recent New York Times article by Jeremy W. Peters claims it is a “fact” “that black people suffer disproportionately from police brutality.” He also asserts that President Trump’s rejection of this accusation is “racially inflammatory” and “racially divisive.” To the contrary, comprehensive facts show that this allegation against police is false. Furthermore, this deception has stoked racial divides and driven people to despise and even murder police officers.

In an interview with CBS News that is slated to air in full tonight, reporter Catherine Herridge asked Trump, “Why are African-Americans still dying at the hands of law enforcement in this country?” He responded that this is a “terrible question” and that “more white people” are killed by police than black people.

CBS News, the New York Times, and many other media outlets are criticizing Trump’s response because blacks are a much smaller portion of the U.S. population than whites. Thus, the odds of being killed by police are higher for each black person than each white person. This frequent argument is highly misleading because it omits facts that are vital to this issue. As detailed in a 2018 paper in the journal Social Psychological and Personality Science:

  • “The most common means of testing for racial disparity in police use of deadly force is to compare the odds of being fatally shot for blacks to the odds of being fatally shot for whites.”
  • That logic is flawed because it relies upon the false assumption that white and black people commit life-threatening crimes at the same rates.
  • The rational way to analyze this issue is to compare the odds of being fatally shot to each race’s “involvement in those situations where the police may be more likely to use deadly force.”
  • Based on four different national datasets on “murder/nonnegligent manslaughter, violent crime, and weapons violations,” “in nearly every case, whites were either more likely to be fatally shot by police or police showed no significant disparity in either direction.”

The facts about murder and police killings underscore this reality. Black people represent about 13% of the U.S. population, at least 53% of murder offenders, and roughly 33% of people killed by police.

The Supreme Court’s 1985 ruling in Tennessee v. Garner  forbids police from using lethal force except in situations where there is a genuine risk of “death or serious physical injury.” In 2015, the Washington Post found that over the prior decade an average of about five police officers per year were indicted for violating this standard, and only one per year was convicted.

Likewise, a study conducted by the left-leaning Center for Policing Equity reveals that police are 42% less likely to use lethal force when arresting black people than when arresting whites. Yet, the authors of this study buried that data on the 19th page of a 29-page report and wrote an overview that gives the opposing impression.

Taken together, the facts above disprove the claim that “black people suffer disproportionately from police brutality.” Yet, media outlets routinely ignore these facts or report them in isolation so that their implications are obscured. Meanwhile, they widely spread the counterfactual message that has inspired racial strife, hatred of the police, and slayings of officers. For example:

  • Before Ismaaiyl Brinsley murdered New York City policemen Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu in 2014, he posted on Instagram: “I’m Putting Wings On Pigs Today. They Take 1 Of Ours….. Let’s Take 2 of Theirs #ShootThePolice, #RIPErivGardner and # This may be my final post.”
  • During a 2016 Black Lives Matter protest in Dallas, TX in which the crowd chanted “Hands up, don’t shoot,” Micah Johnson killed five police officers. During standoff negotiations, he said he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers. All of the policemen he murdered were white.
  • Ten days later, Gavin Eugene Long shot six Baton Rouge, Louisiana police officers, killing three of them. His suicide note stated: “I must bring the same destruction that bad cops continue to inflict upon my people,” meaning people of color.

Beyond this, the Times and other media outlets that propagate those racially provocative falsehoods are accusing people who challenge them of stirring racial hostilities.

There are more than 800,000 sworn law enforcement officers in the U.S., and they commit roughly one murder per year. This amounts to an annual murder rate of 0.13 per 100,000—or about 38 times lower than the general U.S. murder rate of 5.0 per 100,000. Police are vetted for criminality, and thus, they should be much less likely to commit murder than the average person. However, police are also faced with life-threatening situations more often than the general public, and this opens doors for violent tendencies to emerge.

Regardless, it is irrational to accuse police or any other group of people of brutality or systemic racism based on the actions of an infinitesimal portion of them. Yet, the media and activists repeatedly do this, even though it is a hallmark tactic of racists and demagogues.

15 THOUGHTS ON “BLACK PEOPLE DO NOT SUFFER DISPROPORTIONATELY FROM POLICE BRUTALITY”

  1. I would like to send you some studies that appear to provide evidence that appears to substantiate significant disparities in the use of force against African Americans. If you would kindly provide me an email I can use I would happy to send these to you for your comment. I would send you the actual studies, not the citations or mere references (with 1 exception.).

Thank you for your considerations. I am very appreciative of the very fine work JustFacts does to bring a balanced and factual presentation of the evidences and arguments to the issues of our day.

    • Thank you for your kind words. Below are the key facts on these six studies. As you’ll see, they are either fatally flawed, inconclusive, or actually find that police are not more likely to use lethal force against minorities:

      1) A Multi-Level Bayesian Analysis of Racial Bias in Police Shootings at the County-Level in the United States, 2011–2014

This study uses an incomplete, crowd-sourced dataset that records 16 cases of civilians being shot by police in Houston, TX and surrounding areas from 2011 to 2014. During this period, at least 177 such shootings occurred in Houston alone. In other words, the study’s data is so fragmentary that it is useless.

      2) An Empirical Analysis of Racial Differences in Police Use of Force

This study found that “on the most extreme use of force – officer-involved shootings – we are unable to detect any racial differences in either the raw data or when accounting for controls.” The author, Harvard professor Roland G. Fryer Jr., called this “the most surprising result of my career.”

On the other hand, the study did find that “blacks and Hispanics are more than 50 percent more likely to experience some form of force in interactions with police,” but this drops to 21.3% when controlling for factors like resisting arrest. Fryer theorizes there is a racial reason for this, but the remaining difference could be due to factors that the study did not control for, or it may be because police are more likely to forcibly restrain people in high-crime neighborhoods to prevent situations that require lethal force, regardless of race.

The paper is also marred and its credibility is undermined by this misleading claim: “The raw memories of these [racial] injustices have been resurrected by several high-profile incidents of questionable uses of force. Michael Brown, unarmed, was shot 12 times by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, after Brown fit the description of a robbery suspect of a nearby store.” Before the working draft of this paper was published in 2016, the Obama Justice Department proved in 2015 that the officer shot Brown in self-defense. On 9/12/16, I personally wrote to Fryer with documentation of that fact, and yet, he still submitted this paper for final publication with this falsehood in it.

      3) Is There Evidence of Racial Disparity in Police Use of Deadly Force? Analyses of Officer-Involved Fatal Shootings in 2015–2016

This is the exact same study that I quote in the article above. Again, it found that “in nearly every case, whites were either more likely to be fatally shot by police or police showed no significant disparity in either direction.”

      4) Officer Characteristics and Racial Disparities in Fatal Officer-Involved Shootings

In the words of the study’s authors, this study found that “once crime rates were taken into account, civilians fatally shot by the police were not more likely to be black or Hispanic than white.” Furthermore, it showed that “white officers are not more likely to fatally shoot minority civilians compared to black or Hispanic officers.”

      5) Correction for “Officer Characteristics and Racial Disparities in Fatal Officer-Involved Shootings”

This is merely a technical clarification of the study just above that changes none of its results.

      6) Police, Race, and the Production of Capital Homicides

This study mentions earlier research about racial disparities in the death penalty, but the facts are that relative to the rates at which people of different races commit murder in the U.S., black people are less likely to be sentenced to death and executed than white people.

The study correctly points out that murders are less likely to be solved in minority neighborhoods and posits racial causes for this, but it also recognizes that this may be due to factors such as these:

      • Minorities are more likely to be involved in murdering strangers than whites, and such murders are more difficult to solve.
      • Police resources are stretched in minority neighborhoods due to high crime rates.
      • Minorities are less likely to cooperate with murder investigations due to fear of reprisal and hostility towards police.

Have We Reached The Point Of Irreconcilable Differences Where Divorce Or Civil War Will Be The Only Action Left?

Time is running out to quell this madness

Irreconcilable Differences

We are at war, believe it or not, like it or not. Contrary to what the media wants you to believe, it is not Black vs. White, but Left vs. Right. Forces have been gathering and preparing for decades with the intention of destroying our country, and taking over the government. They have been doing it from the inside, knowing there was no chance for a military solution.

Political differences in America are not a new phenomenon. We’ve had our share. But, we are now living in a time when the opposition is now openly in disagreement on the very basics of what our country’s values are. The Democrat Party has been taken over by these forces and has clearly demonstrated their desire to establish a Democratic-Socialist state, a far cry from our founding. Any resistance within the Party to their agenda has now been silenced. Their hatred for our country in recent years has shocked even the hardened apolitical. Have we reached a point of irreconcilable differences? Quite possibly, but it has always been irreconcilable to the leaders on the Left. We just were unaware.

The Left insist on tearing down America

What the Left is demanding is far from where we have been. Instead of making America great again, they insist on tearing it down. They are demanding we shed our Judeo-Christian foundation. They want a new Constitution, one where rights are granted by government, not by God. All statues, monuments of our past, institutions, are to be destroyed. Even statues of abolitionists. All vestiges of our founding and history erased. They want a new country, a secular socialist state where everyone is equal and to remain so, regardless of talent or personal industry. They want the electoral college scrapped, mail-in voting installed, even though rife with fraud, or because of it. They are demanding the voting age be lowered to 16, limits on free speech, and of course, no right to self-protection. They want the end of private property, capitalism, meritocracy, everything that is uniquely American. In the interim, they are willing to shed any constitutional protection if it grants them short-term gain.

How can we survive as a nation with such disparity?

Unlike revolutions in history, there seems to be no rhyme or reason for discontent, except ignorance, lust for power, and hatred of God and country born of decades of communist propaganda in our schools and media. Our economy has been at a zenith with unemployment at record lows for nearly every American, regardless of race or gender. Wars are finally winding down, after twenty years. Taxes are relatively low. We are now energy independent. The business climate has been nothing less than exceptional. And yet, here we are.

Whether the COVID phenomenon is natural or as many call it, a plandemic, it has been weaponized and tearing our nation apart. COVID deaths are being highly inflated. As an example, many hospitals are listing motor vehicle deaths as COVID caused. This pandemic is actively being kept alive for a purpose, a very evil purpose…an undercover insurgency aided by the Deep State, a compliant media, and naive corporations unwilling to be called racist. It is all to reverse Trump’s many economic accomplishments, and put a stop to any more Trump rallies. It is to assure a Trump loss in 2020 to complete the agenda they had planned for 2016. Maybe more importantly, it will put a halt to any further investigations into Democrat insurgency and treason.

Democrat cities are being destroyed by savage mobs

This COVID-19 appeared immediately after the impeachment failed…coincidence? At the same time, our coinage began to disappear. Merchants started asking for exact change or credit card use, better to track people’s activity…coincidence? Was the Floyd death coincidence or planned? Obama had been reseeding racism, a powerful future cover for insurrection, almost immediately after his inauguration. If Biden should win in November, I can assure everyone that COVID-19 will disappear from the front pages almost immediately.

Democrat cities are being destroyed by savage mobs. Many have forgotten why they are rioting. Bricks are being delivered, so they throw them. It’s a perverse sense of permission. Police officers are being murdered, ambushed and assaulted. Laws that assure civil order are being ignored by Democrat governors and mayors. Churches are now being destroyed or vandalized. The Left’s ‘shock troops’, Marxist organizations committed to the overthrow of our nation like BLM and Antifa, are being utilized as Democrat militia. Any loss of life, property, or livelihood suffered by Americans is deemed collateral damage.

To further the hostility and create a sort of modern witch hunt, everything has been politicized by the Left…the Constitution, healthcare, education, religion, our culture, capitalism, meritocracy, private property, home ownership…It’s all fair game. Every slight is now either racism, misogyny, white supremacy, homophobia, whatever.

How can we compromise with such brutish people? You don’t. You defeat them. Peaceful protests are fine, but everyone who is violent and a danger to our republic needs to be found and punished quickly. Every high-ranking federal employee that is deemed an insurgent should be arrested and tried. There are plenty of prison cells available since so many convicts have been released. Other federal employees should be held to their oath or removed with a loss of pension. Any political party found to have dabbled in sedition should be dissolved. Arrest all insurgent leaders in the media, education, and especially those who have financed the sedition, Black Lives Matter and Antifa declared terrorist organizations.

Time is running out to quell this madness. The inaction of many Democrat state governors and mayors has been curious, as it has encouraged many on the street to anarchy. Much should have been done by now. Have we reached the point of irreconcilable differences where divorce or civil war will be the only action? Maybe, maybe not, but it is getting dangerously close.

Teen Vogue: Sleeping, Copping Naps Now systemically racist!

“Brace yourself because if sleeping is “systemically racist”, so is breathing, which is why governments have ordered the wearing of the face mask as mandatory.”

Sleepy Joe Biden

Listen up all you racists in the Land of Nod: Sleeping is now “systemically racist”!

So says Teen Vogue Magazine, well on its way for the Pulitzer Prize for All-Time Absurdity.

“I now grasp the problem I have when sometimes I just can’t get to sleep. It’s racist and my guilty subconscious is keeping me awake,”Canada Free Press cartoonist Dag Barkley signalled to his Mother Ship early this morning.

You, too, Barkley?

Before rushing off full speed ahead for the Pulitzer, Teen Vogue was best known for advocating children to have anal sex (ProjectRepublicToday, Nov. 16, 2017 ).

That December, two-time Democrat failure for president Hillary Clinton served as the magazine’s guest editor.

“Teen Vogue, in its imperishable desire to act as the spearhead for political correctness, published an article titled “Black Power Naps Is Addressing Systemic Racism in Sleep,” in which they plugged an artistic initiative entitled “Black Power Naps,” which argues that blacks have had shorter lives than whites because blacks were not permitted to sleep, and thus reparations must be given in the form of time off from work. (Daily Wire, July 16, 2020)

Shouldn’t the now Socialist Dems be going to the rescue of ‘Sleepy Joe’?

“Teen Vogue writes of Fannie Sosa and Navild Acosta, who created Black Power Naps, that they “were tired, but it wasn’t just any old fatigue. Yes, they experienced a lack of sleep, but they were specifically experiencing a generational fatigue familiar to Black people and people of color.” (Daily Wire)

“Teen Vogue says Black Power Naps is “also a recognition of the hundreds of years of sleep deprivation that Black people and people of color have experienced as a result of systemic racism, a way to pushback against the false stereotype that Black people are lazy, and an investigation of the inequitable distribution of rest.”

Slavery is a regime of stealing and extraction: Stolen wages, stolen life, stolen land, but stolen time

“Acosta posited, “We’re dealing with an inheritance of sleep deprivation. Sleep deprivation was a … deliberate tactic of slave owners to basically make the mind feeble. That same tactic has only evolved.”

“Sosa added, “Slavery is a regime of stealing and extraction: Stolen wages, stolen life, stolen land, but stolen time was one of the main things. We need time. We need time off; we need time out. Our ancestors never got to take a month off for holidays; they never got to take a sabbatical; they never got to take a nap. When you pile all of those together, you see the reparations that need to happen are monetary, but they’re also time and space.”

“Teen Vogue writes, “Acosta and Sosa are calling for rest as reparations. Yes, they’re looking for an ease to the many burdens that might prevent Black people and people of color from sleeping like systemic racism, socioeconomic struggle, and more.” Teen Vogue adds, “This conversation about rest is particularly pertinent now, as people take to the streets to say Black Lives Matter. If Black people keep having to fight for their humanity, how can they ever rest knowing they could be in danger?”

“Sosa said, “We are having to go out in the streets during a pandemic, expending our energy in really huge amounts in order to ask for reparations and rest and energy. It is a … double edged sword to navigate as an activist or organizer. You are putting your body on the line to reclaim it. That creates a lot of burnout. We have people who are 20, 21, they are burnt out. They need time off. They need not only to sleep, but to know their people are going to be ok, to know they’re going to be ok, to know they can take a break.”

Meantime, as cartoonist Barkley points out, “The epitome of utter craziness has finally happened. Okay, it’s been going on for some time, but now we have the winner!”

As Mother Ship responded: “Brace yourself because if sleeping is “systemically racist”, so is breathing, which is why governments have ordered the wearing of the face mask as mandatory.”

Why Is The Media Trying To Stop Trump From Talking About Biden?

Question: Is Donald Trump the first president whose message is being almost totally stifled by a gang up of the Democrats, media and entertainment celebrities?

Why Is The Media Trying To Stop Trump From Talking About Biden?

Question: Amidst the roughly 99 percent negative media reports on President Donald Trump, how many would have been able to identify the far left platforms of Democrat poll-supported Joe Biden read out in his July 14 Rose Garden press conference? (White House, July 14, 2020)

Mainstream and social media were lightning-quick to criticize Trump for dissing Biden at the presser.

Trump advisor, Fox News contributor Karl Rove stepped up to say that the president shouldn’t be talking about Biden out on the campaign trail.

If President Trump can’t talk about his opponent Joe Biden out on the campaign trail, he would only be able to talk about him AFTER Biden is elected president— in an election that polls indicate he will definitely win.

What good is that?

As far as the media is concerned, it’s almost as if President Donald Trump isn’t even in the 2020 race.

Imagination and surrealism go a long way with Desperado Democrats and their vicious media surrogates

With pro-Trump conservative news sites under intense social media suppression; Entertainment celebrities joining desperado Dems and the media to muzzle the president, what chance does he have in getting his message out to the masses?

“Thursday, Fox News host Neil Cavuto cut away during a speech by President Donald Trump on deregulation to fact-check his claims that former President Barack Obama had enacted “job-destroying regulations.” (Breitbart, July 16, 2020)

“Cavuto said, “I do want to clarify a couple of things he said, that no president in history has cut regulations as much as he has. That is true. I think he might have mischaracterized the regulations that were added under Barack Obama — they were largely financial related. You might recall we had this little thing called the financial meltdown, and much of those regulations were geared to preventing banks from ever investing in things like risky mortgage securities, pooling them, selling them off.”

“He continued, “The unemployment rate did, under Barack Obama, go down from a high of 10% to around 4.7%. President Trump, of course, sent that even lower, eventually getting us down to a 3.5% unemployment rate. But I didn’t want to leave you with the impression that during those eight years when Obama first came into office, and we were bleeding about a million jobs a month that that was standard fare and that characterized the whole eight years.”

“He added, “It was not a disaster under Barack Obama. Not only did the Dow essentially triple during his tenure, but whether you want to call the increase regulations and other things that police financial companies, as a bane to our existence, those companies did very well. Americans did very, very well. So I just want to put that in some context here.”

Wonder why Cavuto didn’t “fact check” the Rose Garden speech where Trump outlined the Biden campaign platform with all of its far left socialist dictates?

Question: Is Donald Trump the first president whose message is being almost totally stifled by a gang up of the Democrats, media and entertainment celebrities?

It certainly looks that way.

Trump Rose Garden Speech on China

George Washington University Engages in Political Subversion

Well, if you are paying for your children to go to university, you better scratch George Washington University off the list. Students attending George Washington University were told to read an anti-racism syllabus that said that conservatism as “incompatible” with black Americans who seek freedom. While Hillary Clinton called conservatives “deplorable,” now they are being called racists by GW University.

It is really amazing how boldly they have acted against half of the country. GW University published “Solidarity Resource Syllabus,” which included “Conservatism and Racism, and Why in America They Are the Same.” This is taking one giant step toward anarchy. This university or any other that is engaging in deliberate brain-washing should be defunded from any government funds whatsoever including student loans. The only way to deal with this type of conduct is to deny student loans to any university engaging in political indoctrination.

Reflections on the French Revolution: A Model for U.S. Civil War?

Marxist revolutionaries in the U.S. are using the French Revolution as a model for the Civil War over control of America’s soul in this time. Are current violent events across the nation a foreshadowing of a Reign of Terror, in this nation?

Reflections on the French Revolution: A Model for U.S. Civil War?

Contrary to the romanticized European notions and the intellectually fraudulent myth that the French Revolution was a victory for a people striving for freedom, the truth is finally coming to light. The holiday normally celebrated in France as a revered holiday, known as Bastille Day, being the spark that ignited France’s march to freedom is an illusion. Unfortunately, European Marxists had long held that the French Revolution was a real victory for the people—the proletariat. Yet, after centuries, French writers are beginning to honestly look at this tragic European history as a failure to provide freedom in France.

While the storming of the Bastille is renowned as the key event that sparked the French Revolution, within four years, the ideals espoused in the more formal Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen in August of 1789 had been hijacked by the Friends of the Constitution that later morphed into the Society of the Jacobins. The Jacobins used their previous name to disguise their true intent to manipulate or dominate the development of the French Constitution and to ultimately execute the king.

In a dual initiative, the Jacobin political party rose rapidly from 1789 to 1793 to become the most influential political party in the French Revolution. During this period the acting government evolved into the National Constituent Assembly, as King Louis XVI became impotent in the midst of such genuine political upheaval. But, the descent into chaos took place in stages. After the National Assembly abolished feudalism in early August, it passed the Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen on August 28, 1789. This very idealistic document had been drafted by the Abbé Emmanuel Sieyès and the Marquis de Lafayette (oddly, members of the First and Second Estates respectively). Thomas Jefferson even provided consultation on the document since he was serving as the U.S. Minister to France at the time.

The Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen has been hailed as comparable to the Declaration of Independence and declared a model for human rights in the world. Yet, it is a very European-oriented document—strong on theory, but short on substance. There were 17 Articles that were practically broken as quickly as they had been voted upon. Highly idealistic, they were all humanistic in origin: Article One stated: “Men are born and remain free and equal in rights. Social distinctions can be founded only on the common good.” The real problem with this ideal is who determines the common good? What standard of public good is being used as the measurement?

The Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen asserted that rights are derived from the state—-in this case, the National Assembly. Article Three of the Declaration stated:  “The principle of any sovereignty resides essentially in the Nation. Nobody, no individual may exercise any authority which does not proceed directly from the nation.”

So, this was a decree of national sovereignty, and theoretically, it eliminates the need for a king if the National Assembly is declaring itself as sole and genuine sovereign over all of France. In other words, this legislature declared itself to be the sovereign rule at the heart of the nation. At this stage of the French Revolution, it appears fine that rational men are able to reason with one another. It is similar to the Continental Congresses of the rebellious British Colonies. But, one fundamental difference lies in the Declaration of Independence: the rights of men are derived from God, thus rights derived from decree by national leaders, or the government, are opposite from the concept of God-given rights, and the purpose of government being to protect the inalienable rights from God.

This difference between the two revolutionary actions is quite significant, yet the secular world does not easily acknowledge it. Although the United States is a nation based on the value of the rule of law, it is based upon the concept that government is primarily necessary in order to secure or protect the rights of the people, and it is the consent of those governed that provides the government its basis of power. However, underlying this system is the fundamental belief that there is a God who rules over the affairs of men, which means accountability to the “Supreme Judge of the world.”

In mid-May 1790, the National Assembly abolished the rights of all nobility, followed by the government control of the clergy through the Civil Constitution of the French Clergy, adopted in July of 1790. Since France was a Catholic-dominated nation in that time, the national government essentially decreed that the Catholic clergy were all suddenly government employees, and the state confiscated all church property. This must have been where Karl Marx got the idea that all private property should be turned over to a socialist government. But, the French did not know they were communists at the time, except they called themselves commoners or the Communes.

By November 27th, all of the clergy was to swear their allegiance to France—no notion of free exercise of religion. So, the clergy had been artificially disengaged from Rome—-the mother church, and while the Pope protested, he had little power over the new French government. Even the King of France had virtually no power over the French government; yet, the National Assembly was supposedly moving to create a new Constitutional Monarchy. And, when the Assembly finally established and ratified a Constitution in September of 1791, King Louis signed it. But, that would not matter,  even though a new French Republic was proclaimed one year later, in 1792.

On January 21, 1793, exactly four months after the Constitutional Republic was established, the people executed King Louis XVI. That ended the Constitutional Monarchy because, without a monarch, only one half of the equation exists. Once the king was executed, it opened the pathway for anyone to be executed. This was the turning point of the revolution into a more rapid descent into confusion, chaos, rampant suspicion, and widespread accusation, condemnation, and the execution of individuals without much control. In short, the people’s revolution, imbued with noble ideals, deteriorated into a reprehensible bloodbath of horror during the Reign of Terror.

A diligent student of history would recognize that the French Constitution did not last long. The French Republic that had been established in 1792 by the new constitution, which the king signed, was technically dead when they killed the king in 1793. But, the precious constitution the people had fought so valiantly for was essentially shredded by 1799. Practically, the French Revolution ended after ten years, after the French people had bankrupted their country, and after the people elected Napoleon Bonaparte as the lone Consul to help salvage their dreams. In the end, the people’s revolution failed to truly establish a stable nation of freedom and liberty; tyrants and tyranny smashed them completely. It is not a glorious history; it is a tragic history.

The question would be whether the Marxist revolutionaries in the U.S. are using the French Revolution as a model for the Civil War over control of America’s soul in this time. Are current violent events across the nation a foreshadowing of a Reign of Terror, in this nation? A popular concern over police brutality could be hijacked by the terrorist groups and could quickly devolve into confusion, chaos, rampant suspicion, widespread accusation, condemnation, and murders of innocent people with little control. Oh, wait! This, and more, is already happening right now – in 2020!

America’s Useful Idiots

If we fail to say no to America’s useful idiots, then another of Lenin’s quotes will come to fruition — “the goal of socialism is communism.”

America’s Useful Idiots

“Useful idiots” is a phrase attributed to Vladimir Lenin, who supposedly used it to describe communist sympathizers in Western Civilization.

It is a very appropriate descriptor when it comes to the so-called “woke” mob of the so-called “resistance” that has overtaken the streets of America. Well, let me rephrase that: They have overtaken the streets of major population centers in America. The infestation of wokeness and idiocy seems concentrated in the very places where progressive socialist policies have failed in America.

You cannot appease, acquiesce, or compromise with the mob, America’s useful idiots

Consider the idiocy of a city in Colorado that is incarcerating people who do not wear a mask. Yet these same leftists claimed that criminals had to be released from incarceration due to the threat of COVID-19. Or consider the idiocy of going into the home of private citizens and confiscating their weapon, their right to keep and bear arms, for no apparent reason, other than they defended their property, safety, and security against the invasion of the “woke” mob — the useful idiots.

In Seattle, the useful idiots established their own autonomous zone, driving out law enforcement. The mayor of Seattle described the autonomous zone called CHOP as having a festive atmosphere. Well, that ended once the threats, looting, and murders of two young black men happened, and the mayor ordered police in to reestablish law and order. Now, the useful idiots of Seattle want to recall the mayor.

Lesson learned — you cannot appease, acquiesce, or compromise with the mob, America’s useful idiots.

What is amazing to me is that we have these young black boys and girls who have joined the useful idiocy. Consider what happened at the University of Wisconsin where the black student union demanded the removal of the statue of President Abraham Lincoln. It appears they believe, wrongly of course, that Lincoln did not do enough for blacks — what?

Hmm, President Lincoln, the first Republican president, lost his life because of his commitment to freedom for Blacks. What more do the useful idiots think Lincoln should have done? Even in his own words, President Lincoln talked about giving the last full measure of devotion, his words from the Gettysburg Address.

And the absurdity does not end there. Consider, over Memorial Day weekend, useful idiots tore down the statue of Frederick Douglass. Douglass’ story is beyond amazing, and he should be the example that the young black members of the useful idiot club follow.

So, why do you tear down statues of Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, or memorials to Black soldiers? Only one answer, you’re a useful idiot

Douglass was a freed, self-educated slave who became a leading voice for freedom and abolition of slavery. And do not forget the defacing of the memorial to the 54th Massachusetts Regiment of the Civil War in Boston. They were the first all-Black unit to serve America. They are my predecessors.

So, why do you tear down statues of Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, or memorials to Black soldiers? Only one answer, you’re a useful idiot.

America’s useful idiots want to embrace a philosophy of governance that is the antithesis of the liberty and freedoms that they enjoy. Do not believe me? Well, how about our woke little temper tantrum kids take a trip to Hong Kong. There you will find young people resisting the very ideology that our young people want to live under. How about our useful idiots talk to those Venezuelans who now reside in the United States, like former Miss Venezuela Carmen Maria Montiel, and learn just how awesome socialism truly is.

America’s useful idiots are busy searching and destroying anything that they claim is connected to systemic racism. Then why are these little cherubs aligning themselves with the Democrat Party? If we were to do a truly historical analysis of the Democrat Party, you would find the real purveyors of systemic racism in our country. I could go on, but think about the history of a political party that voted against the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments. A political party that created our first domestic terrorist organization, the Ku Klux Klan — oh, yeah, they created the second one also, Antifa.

The KKK was established to prevent freed Blacks, thanks to Republican efforts, from voting – Republican! Heck, the first Congressional Black Caucus was not Democrat. Jim Crow, segregation, lynching, all the darkest moments in U.S. history are tied to the very political party of which these useful idiots belong.

And just a reminder, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 passed because of a Republican Senator, Everett Dirksen. The longest filibuster in U.S. Senate history was done by Senate Democrats seeking to block the civil rights bill from even getting to the Senate floor. And West Virginia Senator, Robert Byrd, was one of them. He was an Exalted Cyclops in the KKK. He never switched political parties. He was praised by people such as Bill and Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden. Yet Byrd’s statues and memorials have not been targeted for destruction — why?

How did we get to this point? Simple, we stopped teaching history and civics

Yes, useful idiots.

How did we get to this point? Simple, we stopped teaching history and civics. Those subjects were replaced with social studies, which is just the study of leftist ideological agendas. Our education system is no longer based upon learning, educating, it is focused on indoctrinating. Leftists have overtaken our school boards, the most important elected positions in America. Yet, it is the elected position that routinely has the least amount of voter participation.

Lenin was correct. Western Civilization would topple because of useful idiots advancing the ideals of socialism, communism, and Marxism. And it began in the halls of our academic institutions. The irrational emotionalism that is spreading like cancer across America is quite disconcerting, utterly illogical.

The problem is that there are those who believe you can appease the mob. That you can have a rational discussion with a useful idiot. What we can do is take a stand, speak up, and just say no!

If we fail to say no to America’s useful idiots, then another of Lenin’s quotes will come to fruition — “the goal of socialism is communism.”

Toronto Bans Holy Communion in Churches – Is History Repeating?

There we go again… Toronto banned (Catholic and Orthodox) churches from giving Holy Communion. Not long ago, all churches were forced to close for more than two months and public Masses were banned. Now they’re opened, but Communion is banned. This virus is allowing the destruction of religion which was indeed part of the Marxist agenda. It is really amazing how draconian politicians are becoming, which is stirring up the religious right, and was a direct consequence of the Communist Revolution.

While Constantine I the Great had pictured himself with the Roman god Sol, he used Christianity as the excuse to plunder the pagan temples. There too, he used religion to divide the Roman Empire and he justified that there should be only one emperor because there was only one God.

We also find a religious war within Christianity known as Iconoclasm. Following the Byzantine Emperor Justinian (527–565) saw a vast increase in the use of images. It was the year 695AD when Justinian II’s government added a full-face image of Christ on the obverse of imperial gold coins. The change caused the Caliph Abd al-Malik to stop using Byzantine coin types and he introduced the first purely Islamic coinage with only lettering.

The iconoclasm began with Byzantine Emperor Leo III, who issued a series of edicts between 726 and 730 against the veneration of images. This ignited a religious conflict that led to priests being killed for protecting icons.

So religion has often erupted into social conflicts and civil unrest. We see this same issue reemerge during the 16th century when it erupted in Germany in Wittenberg during the early 1520s. It prompted Martin Luther to intervene arguing that the mental picturing of Christ when reading the Scriptures was similar in character to artistic renderings of Christ. Thus, the Lutherans favored sacred art in contrast to the Calvinists who argued for the removal of all religious images. Interestingly enough, it was the governments, in most cases, who removed images in the Reformed Protestant cities and territories of Europe.

There is a cycle to everything.

Angels On Our Shoulders….

This update is going to be a little raw, perhaps written more for me than you.  First, to those who are offering support – THANK YOU.  I remain outside the wire, and way out of my comfort zone… but that’s ok.

In the background there was one setback, the print company ran into a problem with the binding for the briefing material (72 hr delay); apparently it’s a little overwhelming. [Not a bad thing really]

However, that is a minor setback compared to the angel who appeared at the most opportune moment.   The biggest hurdle is nearly overcome, and as one person described: “holy sh!t the murderers row” is assembled.

The oral briefs paid dividends.  Now there’s an army forming, dispatches received, everything locked in place, one serious angel to thank.  Factually, it’s not only what’s in the documents, it’s also what’s on the documents that matters, & no-one ever noticed until now.”.. ~JW

The next week is critical.  CTH into the belly of the beast. Again, an apology for spending less time on daily news events, research and writing, and more time on the critical cusp of activity previously discussed. That’s why the daily content of the site is less.

THE alliance of allies is a priority; that means a personal investment.  Each person briefed recognizes this is much bigger than previously thought. Stunningly so. One by one, people see the importance.  It’s an amazing story in totality.

I’m less worried about Barr-Durham failing now.  Hoping for their success, and recent background indicators support ‘cautious optimism’; but preparing just in case.

I let down someone important to me but not the goal; which reminded me just how much our founders put at risk when they faced far more serious challenges than my simple effort.  Regardless, it is a crushing gut-punch to see yourself drive with such intensity that you generate collateral damage accidentally.  Lesson: it is much harder to forgive your own trespasses against others, than it is to forgive those who trespass against you.

Again, thanks for your support. Every prayer is felt, and I really believe those prayers are making a difference; remarkably so.  This journey is actually bringing me closer to my own faith which was quite unexpected.   Truthfully, nakedly, I’m also scared as hell; this is so far out of my comfort zone – that’s likely the reason for my renewed reliance.

All of that said, things are falling into place.  The balance has shifted a little, and now not only are doors opening, but our own door is being knocked upon.  That result can only be described as guided.  Ergo, I’m seriously humbled.  Humbled and more optimistic.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9

~ Sundance

Remember – Do not worry yourself with dark imaginings. Turn your fear into resolve; turn that resolve into action. I am not going to be discouraged… check that…. I purposefully choose not to be discouraged. Each of us has the ability to control our thoughts.

Live your best life, RIGHT NOW, and remember it’s the only one we have.

We live in the greatest nation on the face of the earth. We are the people of that nation, with boundless opportunities most of the world can only dream of.

We are Americans….

Stop giving the opposition power by positioning your outlook that Barr and Durham will do nothing…. Just stop. We must demand action.  We are worth it. Do not give them an inch of room for obfuscation. Do not worry about being perceived as an a**hole about it.

Quit listening to those who say “can’t” and “won’t”…

If they feel comfortable sitting in their socially distant box and bitching about all things that are not right, or might be not be right…. Or, if they prefer to allow themselves to be overcome with dark imaginings simply because what cannot be done is more comfortable than the effort to oversee what needs to be done…. well, that’s okay.

They can do that.

And when they are done doing that they’ll still be in the same place.

But I swear to you: I am more confident than ever.

The goal is in sight.. a blinding light… and it cannot be avoided. Recent events have only confirmed this to be true. We are on the right side of history.

We are all being guided. It is rather remarkable.

I saw this tweet from Lee Smith and it is very true:

When I read that message from Lee, it really resonated.  We must go on offense armed with the truth, and not stand around defending against lies.

Weaponized truth is righteous.

Rebel Alliance Ground Reports – What’s Your Current COVID Status…

Red States, Blue States, Red Regions and Blue Regions present an incredible disparity within our republic; I’m curious what is the current status of the COVID lifestyle near you. What is going on in/around your town, city, region or hamlet?

This isn’t just a typical request for ground reports, it’s also a little selfish. You are helping with advanced recon for an ongoing travel itinerary. East Coast, mid-west, then west. Trying to travel during this COVID crisis is a hot mess of frustrated puddle jumping, changes and cancellations. It is quite amazing the scale of difference between cities and states. The media has been reporting in large generic terms, but the stuff that matters is how it impacts your life; your daily function. That’s what we are all interested in.

It is remarkable how different life amid COVID is within each state, even when two states are right next to each other. So how is it your area?
