Pentagon Study Finds Old Threat

Armstrong Economics Blog/Politics Re-Posted Sep 20, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

Funded by the Pentagon, the RAND Corporation’s National Security Research Division published its annual report to note potential risks to national security. RAND researchers found that aging politicians may be a danger to the US. “Taken together, we believe that an increasing number of cleared personnel — that is, personnel who hold or have held security clearances — have or will have dementia,” concluded the RAND researchers.

Joe Biden has the codes to our nuclear weapons, allegedly, but can’t recall what he had for breakfast. McConnell has begun freezing amid conferences and everyone looks the other way. Feinstein relinquished the rights of her own estate because she doesn’t trust her current mental health. We’ve seen Biden make countless remarks about his handlers telling him where to go, who to call upon, and what to say. Yet even though these people work for us, they refuse to leave office.

Researchers found that aging US politicians have “difficulty remembering new information, poor judgment, impulsivity, disorientation, and behavioral changes.” We’ve seen the commander-in-chief exhibit all of these symptoms. The report notes that those with dementia are very vulnerable and may be targeted by an adversary. It is not possible for someone with this degenerative condition to hold onto classified information, let alone make informed decisions on behalf of the nation.

RAND researchers believe that the US government should codify a process to keep track of elderly individuals with security clearances to monitor them for symptoms of dementia. Our current Congress is the oldest in American history. The average Democratic senator is 65, while the average Republican senator is 63. Joe Biden became the oldest president of the United States at 77, and 77% of Americans believe he is simply to old for a second term. Dementia is a completely avoidable threat to national security if we hold elected officials accountable.

Speaker Kevin McCarthy Announces Formal Impeachment Investigation of Biden, Led by James Comer, Jim Jordan and Jason Smith

Posted originally on the CTH on September 12, 2023 | Sundance

I wish I could find something positive and optimistic in this announcement; unfortunately, the posturing moves of the DC machinery never lead to a genuine level of accountability. The UniParty protects its own.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy announces the beginning of a formal impeachment inquiry stemming from the financial fraud and schemes deployed by the Biden family as they sold their positions for personal financial gain. WATCH:

[Transcript] – “In recent months, House Republicans have uncovered serious and credible allegations into President Biden’s conduct; taken together, these allegations paint a picture of a culture of corruption.

“Now, here’s what we know so far:

“Through our investigations, we have found that President Biden lied to the American people about knowledge of his family’s foreign business dealings.

“Eyewitnesses have testified that the President joined multiple phone calls and had multiple interactions, dinners, resulting in cars and millions of dollars to his son and his son’s business partners.

“Bank records show that nearly $20 million in payments were directed to Biden family members and associates through various shell companies.

“The Treasury Department, alone, has more than 150 transactions involving the Biden family and other business associates that were flagged as “suspicious activity” by U.S. banks.

“Even a trusted FBI informant has alleged a bribe to the Biden family.

“Biden used his official office to coordinate with Hunter Biden’s business partners about Hunter’s role in Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company.

“Finally, despite these serious allegations, it appears that the President’s family has been offered special treatment by Biden’s own administration; treatment he would not otherwise have received if he were not related to the President.

“These are allegations of abuse of power, obstruction, and corruption, and they warrant further investigation by the House of Representatives.

“That’s why today, I am directing our House committees to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. This logical next step will give our committees the full power to gather all the facts and answers for the American public.

“It’s exactly what we want to know, the answers, and I believe the President would want to answer these questions and allegations as well.

“This effort will be led by Chairman James Comer at the Committee on Oversight, in coordination with Chairman Jim Jordan of the Judiciary Committee and Chairman Jason Smith on Ways and Means.

“I don’t make this decision lightly. And Regardless of your party or who you may have voted for, these facts should concern all Americans.

“The American people deserve to know that public offices are not for sale – and that the federal government is not being used to cover up the actions of a politically-associated family.

“I would encourage the President and his team to fully cooperate with this investigation in the interest of transparency.

“We are committed to getting the answers for the American public – nothing more, nothing less.

“We will go wherever the evidence takes us.”

Populism v Democracy

Armstrong Economics Blog/Politics Re-Posted Sep 3, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

COMMENT: You are just a Trump supporter. Nothing else.

REPLY: I feel sorry for you. You cannot obviously question whatever the government tells you. You are the prime example of what Stanley Milgram uncovered – Obedience to Authority. I hope you have no family. Under your guidance, you have condemned their future to economic slavery, just as I saw in East Germany before the wall fell. You do not have the courage to even sign your comment. I strongly recommend you read Stanley’s book.

No person is perfect – Trump included. You hate Trump so much, but you think our politicians in Washington really care about you? Good luck with that one.

Here is John Kerry also explaining that democracy is populism when it votes them out of power and must be terminated. This is your Climate Zar who flies around in his private jet telling coal minors to make solar panels, and you should live in his 15-minute cities and walk everywhere – no more cars.

I am so glad I am not 18 years old. It’s people like you who are cheering on a new Dark Age. They call it the Dark Age after Rome fell in 476 AD. Thus, Europe was thrust into a time of “darkness.” The years that would follow, lack of books, freedom, knowledge, any scientific advancement, and the collapse of all cultural advancement until the Renaissance. You already live in a Darl Age imposed by censorship, which is the beginning of the decline and fall.

The Death of Mainstream Media?

Armstrong Economics Blog/Press Re-Posted Aug 21, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

QUESTION: Hello, Mr. Armstrong; Being a European and looking in the window of America, how can Americans hate Trump so much and overlook Biden and Hunter? America is becoming the laughingstock of the world. They want to imprison Trump and let this senile man and his corrupt sun corrupt the world and create a war that will destroy Europe. If Biden allows all your illegal aliens to flock into your country to vote, we should also have a right to vote since your President seems to dictate to the world.

ANSWER: Our media cannot ignore the corruption of Hunter. They pretend it has nothing to do with his father and then claim the American people do not care. They want the death penalty for Trump, and CNN will rejoice.

In the revolt against Henry VI and the corruption of the Deep State, Shakespeare said the first thing we do is kill the lawyers, who were the king’s prosecutors. This time someone may be writing about this collapse in government and saying the first thing we do is hang the journalists. I strongly suggest that anyone who has children working for these news organizations, they better find a different job. They may not want to be looked upon with the same disdain in the years ahead.

We can see what CNN did to Warner Brothers. Their shares collapsed from $78.14 to $9.49 – that was an 87.8% decline! This is like Great Depression. There was a shake up, and they have been trying to move back. But with the volatility rising from 2024, honest reporting remains an unattainable dream.

Interesting Report Noting Bud Light Regional Sales Pattern – California Sales Minimally Disrupted by Boycott, While National Sales Drop 34.2%

Posted originally on the CTH on July 23, 2023 | Sundance

Finding solid information, accurate data, to update the perspective of the ongoing boycott of Bud Light products is a little challenging. You would think the data would be easily found; alas, in this era of hyper partisanship, data that would reflect the truth of the situation is less visible. Go figure.

That said, this market share report from Union does give us a little more perspective on the outcome.  According to the market share report, the decline in Bud Light sales overall is 34.2% over the past six months.  Interestingly, some regions have much larger declines than others. For California, “Union reported only minor changes in market dominance in the state. Bud Light’s sales share in California slid by 0.8 points to 6.6%, while Miller Lite’s sales share increased by 1.7 points to 12%.”

(Via MSM) – The hospitality consumption data platform Union reported a significant decline in Bud Light’s sales share in the Carolinas. From April through June 30, the brand’s sales share dropped by 6.9 points, falling from 19.4% to 12.5%. This decline has been attributed to the fallout from Bud Light’s partnership with Dylan Mulvaney, which sparked controversy and calls for a boycott.

[…] Local bar owners in the Carolinas have also reported a significant impact on Bud Light’s sales. For instance, Chris Dimattia, the owner of Recovery Room Tavern in Charleston, SC, mentioned that he used to sell 10 cases of Bud Light each week, but now only sells one to three cases of the boycott brew, resulting in a 70% to 90% drop in sales. At Blind Tiger Pub, another Charleston bar, Bud Light sales are described as “almost non-existent” by general manager Clayton Dukes. Dukes expressed his concern that the boycott may persist for an extended period, prompting him to replace Bud Light draft with Michelob Ultra due to the low sales.

The negative impact on Bud Light’s sales was not limited to the Carolinas. In New York and New Jersey, the brand also lost ground to its rival, Miller Lite. The combined sales share of Bud Light in these states fell by 5.1 points, while Miller Lite’s sales share increased by about two points.

Similarly, in Texas, where Bud Light faced significant challenges after the controversy, Miller Lite now holds a commanding 12% sales share, more than double that of Bud Light’s 5.6% share.  Surprisingly, the boycott’s impact on Bud Light sales was negligible in California, where Mulvaney hails from. Union reported only minor changes in market dominance in the state. Bud Light’s sales share in California slid by 0.8 points to 6.6%, while Miller Lite’s sales share increased by 1.7 points to 12%.

[…] Bud Light’s significant sales slide by 34.2% over the past six months has put the brand in a challenging position. The fallout from Mulvaney’s controversial posts and the subsequent partnership has evidently had a negative impact on the brand’s sales and reputation. (full article)

It would be interesting to map out the percentage change in Budweiser market share and overlay with a comparative map of regional political affiliation.

Regardless of the company ability to overcome the challenge, a total decline in sales of 34.2% over the six-month period would indicate the brand will not soon recover position.   Going woke has consequences.

Project Veritas Sues James O’Keefe Because He Left After They Fired Him – Demand Injunction to Stop O’Keefe From Working

Posted originally on the CTH on May 31, 2023 | Sundance

Apparently, when the Project Veritas board of directors fired founder and CEO James O’Keefe, they didn’t expect the result to be a collapse in their operational business model.  As the kids would say, Veritas f**ked around and found out.

Stunningly, Project Veritas is now suing James O’Keefe, the man they fired, for having the audacity to launch O’Keefe Media Group (OMG), and they are demanding a court order to stop O’Keefe from earning a living. [FULL pdf HERE]

According to the lawsuit, O’Keefe will not stop doing the expose’ journalism and activism that O’Keefe is known for.  Project Veritas is not happy, because many of the donors and supporters have left PV to follow James O’Keefe at OMG.

Veritas demands an injunction against O’Keefe, which may stop people -workers and donors- from leaving PV to join him. The lawsuit is a little extreme in the way it is written as an effort to convince a civil jury to find in their favor. [READ HERE]

Project Veritas sounds like they are an organization full of professional Republicans.

Armstrong Economics Blog/Censorship Re-Posted May 19, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

Despite the claim that the West is a free society and a democracy, they are engaging in the denial of free speech and censorship. Depending on your service provider and your country, they are starting to block emails updating when we have posted something to the blog. They appear to be reading the headline and determining if they do not want you to know about that subject. This all started with COVID. It has now expanded into politics and even war.

We are investigating a possible workaround, but it would most likely involve just a notice a blog was posted without a title.

The Queen of the Neocons

Armstrong Economics Blog/War Re-Posted May 19, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

The full leaked conversation between Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt can be found here. There is a reason I have called Victoria Nuland the “queen of the neocons” due to her insistence on warfare against Russia that has been at the forefront of her entire career. The plot behind Ukraine is far deeper than anyone is willing to talk about publically. The leaked phone calls between Nuland and Pyatt show that there was a plot to wage war long before Russia crossed into Ukraine. All they needed was an “atta’ boy” puppet to sign his stamp of approval, and Biden was already knee-deep in suspicious business dealings in Ukraine.

Victoria Nuland is of Ukrainian Jewish descent. Her family changed their name to try to hide their Jewish ethnic background. She really would be Nudelman, not Nuland. She is the daughter of Yale bioethics and medicine professor Sherwin B. Nuland, who changed his surname from Nudelman to Nuland. She retained her family name Nuland to perhaps further hide her Jewish connection by marrying Robert Kagan.

Her husband, Robert Kagan, authored the “Real Iraq Study Group” report for the American Enterprise Institute. This was the Neocon view of regime change. Kagan was said to have convinced President George W. Bush to order the “surge” plan, which changed the course of the Iraq War. It was Kagan who co-founded the neoconservative think tank in 1997, which was known as the Project for the New American Century (PNAC) with fellow Neocon William Kristol. Kagan strongly advocated starting a war with every nation that the US has even the slightest issue with such as Syria, Afghanistan, and Iran.

When Ukraine failed to quiet the masses who opposed their installed government in 2014, the US threatened Ukraine with sanctions. The EU did not want to be involved, leading Nuland to make the statement: “Fuck the EU.” She was hell-bent on carefully placing all the pawns in the correct order for the war we are witnessing nearly 10 years later. Everyone says that the EU has more to lose from “Russian aggression” than the US, but the US neocons were the first to instigate the situation.

Here is a video from seven years ago where Nuland testifies before Senate that the Russian oligarchs are attempting to infiltrate Ukraine:

She highlights “rights for the Donbas” knowing that the entire Minsk Agreement was a lie, as Angela Merkel later admitted upon leaving office. There would be no war if not for these bloodthirsty warmongers, who are now ready to harvest the bounty of war from the seeds they planted many years ago.

This topic is pervasive and too long for a blog post. So why is the globe entering the next world war? How did this all begin? The corruption is more profound than you could imagine. I explain all this and more in my new book, “The Plot to Seize Russia.” This is the second edition and goes into further depth than the book provided to World Economic Conference attendees. Paper and labor shortages have led to a delay from our publisher, but the book should be available soon. I will make an announcement once it is available for purchase at all major retailers.
