Don’t be fooled by Trumps down to earth talking and views, anyone that could parley a million dollars in to $10 billion knows what he is doing and is very capable of running a country. No other candidate has actually done anything useful is life except talk about themselves and tell us how great they are going to be as the next President, really!

The Joy of Witlessness
By Tabitha Korol
Oberlin College’s assistant professor, Joy Karega, teaches Rhetoric and Composition. Whether pitifully ignorant of Islam or intentionally following a path of rhetoric and propaganda, a typical selection of her Facebook posts blames the Jews for 9/11 and for the Paris massacre, and claims that ISIS is run by Israel and America.
Not only is this untrue, libelous and offensive, but it is also amoral and dangerous; her lies could be inciting impressionable students to jihadi violence, thereby endangering Jewish students. Lacking scruples, she has responded to reasonable criticism with vitriol and defiance, choosing instead to ignore facts and engage in revisionist history. She further exacerbates the damage by assigning readings that explore the hazy realm of social justice, rejecting accuracy and true justice. How can an instructor so focused on accusations and mischief-making be expected to positively inspire the student writer’s creativity?
At the heart of her illogical behavior one might well find the seeds of envy and resentment. Her contempt reflects the Jew-hatred that is found in the Koran. The Jews were the ones who brought ethical and intellectual monotheism to the world and continue to create, invent, and make improvements to our everyday lives in innumerable ways, earning Nobel awards out of proportion to their small number, while Islamists remain fixed in the seventh century, continuing their offenses, bloodshed, destruction, and looting wherever they go.
- The Islamic Arabs started the African Slave Trade; Islam and Slavery (www.inthenameofallah.org) “The greatest tragedy is that most of the descendants of the African slave trade are totally ignorant of the actual facts. The worst, most inhumane and most diabolical institution of the black African slave trade was initiated, refined, perpetrated and implemented by the Mohammedan Arab and later aided and abetted by the Black Congress to Mohammed and Islam. . . Slavery was not created by the white races; the very word slavery comes from the Arab word Ab, meaning ‘slave of Allah,’ as in ‘Abdullah.’ All blacks are called abi, feudal or forced slaves. . . Arabs institutionalized, systematized, and religiously-sanctioned slave trade on a global scale – 1400 million over 14 centuries (and still not abolished). The Koran allows taking of slaves as booty, which is most of the human population. Holy wars, jihad, are not holy; they are designed to plunder, slaughter, rape, subjugate and rob other humans of their wealth, produce, and freedom.”
Karega may be conflicted championing those who would have enslaved her merely for her skin color, and must opt for a change of narrative, a fictitious one in which she lays the responsibility on the Jewish people. The following solid facts about Israel’s acceptance of Jews worldwide, without regard to superficialities, may help her to escape from the fictitious world she has fashioned for herself.
- “Operation Moses” was Israel’s mission to rescue the Ethiopian Jews who had long dreamed of returning to their ancient homeland. Once recognized as Diaspora Jews in 1975, and despite being forbidden to leave Ethiopia and the hardships, dangers and violence along the way, they stealthily trickled their way on foot to the Sudanese border between 1975 and 1984, where they were held in camps until Israel could covertly retrieve them and fly them to a better life in Israel. Eight thousand Ethiopian Jews, 1500 of them parentless children and youths, were resettled and are now living life as Israeli citizens. The operation was halted when the Sudanese government feared Arab reprisals.
- This week, the last of the Yemenite Jews (19 of 200) were saved from a war zone and covertly brought to Israel.
Offering no evidence whatsoever, Karega openly denies that Islamists are responsible for the 9/11 attack. A psychologist may suggest that, being subconsciously ashamed of the Moslems, she projects their depravity onto Israel, but Karega’s naïve efforts to transfer blame are derided by the Moslem leadership and ISIS, who proudly distribute films for world recognition of their beheadings, burnings, and tortures. She cannot face the ugly truth that Islam is a religion of war.
- Omar Abdel Rahman, the blind Sheikh, has proudly taken ownership of his successful attack on the 1993 World Trade Center. No ordinary terrorist, he holds a Juris Doctor from al-Azhar University in Cairo, with a specialty in Islamic law, Sharia. He has quoted Islamic scripture precisely, proving that Allah commands Moslems to wage jihad worldwide. There are 164 similar verses within the Koran that mandate Moslems to “fight those who believe not in Allah . . . fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them.”
- The foundational statement of the Hamas Charter of the Muslim Brotherhood says, “Our struggle against the Jews is very great and very serious.” Hatred for the Jews supplies the reason for Hamas’ existence, continuing the age-old struggle of evil against good. For every Israeli innovation in medical advancement; improved technology for communication, water, agriculture, etc., and Israel’s outreach as First Responders to countries in adversity, there are hordes of Moslems who are torturing, enslaving, raping and killing in the name of their ideology.
- Mohamed Sa’id Ramadan al-Buti, Egyptian scholar from al-Azhar University, wrote, “The Holy War (Islamic Jihad) . . . is basically an offensive war.” We are in the midst of jihad, when a Muslim fights an infidel without treaty to make the word of Allah . . . forcing him to fight or invading his land. . .”
- Hasan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood (1928), wrote, “It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.”
- The Ayatolla Khomeini, leading Moslem of the 20th century, said, “Those who know nothing of Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war. Those who say this are witless. Islam says: Kill all the unbelievers. . .”
Thus Karega is either quite “witless” or she has taken the path of civilizational jihad, joining the bloodless propaganda war. Spending her time writing hate material, leading a life without joy and compassion, she is fulfilling the Islamic principle of preferring death over life – preferring the lives of illiterate, violent males and emotionally and physically imprisoned/shrouded females, over life as we value it. Compare their ideology with the life lived by Israelis, the advanced little country that recently earned the title of Top 5 Happiest Countries in the World, according to the new Better Life Index report by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). (Under Obama’s watch, the US dropped to 13.)
It is reasonable to suggest that Karega is more than just witless. Her hate mongering and abuse are reserved only for Jews and Israel, accusing them of imagined crimes and absolving Moslems of actual crimes. Her immaturity, malice, bigotry, and fanaticism do not conform with freedom of speech, as specified by The Supreme Court’s established complex framework on the rule of false statements of facts, which can be subject to civil or criminal liability. Common limitations on speech relate to libel, slander, obscenity, incitement, fighting words, public security, public order, public nuisance, and oppression, under the harm principle, all of which appear to apply to this instructor. (Others are pornography, classified information, copyright violation, trade secrets, non-disclosure agreements, right to privacy, right to be forgotten, campaign finance reform, and perjury.)
Neither is Karega alone in her so-called witlessness. College officials who ignore the enmity and fail to protect the Jewish students from the abuser are complicit; they are also supporting the advancement of Sharia over America’s democracy. The College’s President Kislov has passively submitted to the Islamic ideology that demands supremacy. He remains a spineless failure, inept and silent, allowing the invectives to proliferate unchecked, which will encourage the “moderates” to join the ranks of the jihadi oppressors in their abuse of an unprotected prey. If he cannot defend his position of leadership and protect the students from Jew-hatred, he should step down. If he lacks the integrity and courage to safeguard the school’s citizens from verbal or physical discomfort, taking tuition fees from parents who believe their children are in a safe and scholarly environment, and if he cannot control a vicious renegade instructor, then he is not the man for the job.
He Is Risen
Today is the day we celebrate for truly our lord Jesus is risen — We can only pray that our country can be risen again from the depths of her fallen grace!
The Presidential Election 2016, make or Break the Republic, Part Three
Great people can make a Great Country and all the American people are Great
If you are in doubt of American Exceptionalism:
- Think of America as the nation that saved mankind from the tyranny of Nazi Germany;
- Think of America as the nation that saved mankind from the tyranny of Soviet Communism;
- Think of America as the only nation that can save mankind from Islamic totalitarianism;
- Think of America and the sonnet written by the Jewess Emma Lazarus and engraved on the Statue of Liberty: “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.”
- Think of the Jewish navigator that discovered America;
- Think of Divine Providence and elect a President that can make America Great Again.

America at the Crossroad
Prof. Paul Eidelberg
If Ted Cruz, a constitutionalist, is not the choice of the GOP, America’s 2016 presidential election will probably be a contest between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton; and if Mrs. Clinton is elected, this would be a national disaster of the profoundest dimensions.
Without ignoring Trump’s vulgarity and egoism, this in-your-face tycoon is a populist or nationalist, whereas Mrs. Clinton is a self-effacing globalist or internationalist.
If elected President, Hillary, following two example of President Obama, would soon have the opportunity to fill two Supreme Court vacancies with liberal or left-wing internationalists.
This would effectively terminate America’s national sovereignty, together with the democratic principle of government by the consent of the governed. A revolution would then be around the corner.
On the other hand, if Hillary is the Democratic Party’s candidate, and if Trump is the choice of the GOP, the tycoon would have more than enough evidence to so expose Hillary – if he so desired – that she might never again be invited to give a public lecture!
However, such an exposé would be so sordid that it would demoralize the American people and trash the exalted principle of government by the consent of the governed!
America’s 2016 election may thus be the last of a once free and proud people, a people, however, that had already betrayed their Judeo-Christian heritage by twice electing a self-professed Muslim as their President.
The Presidential Election 2016, make or Break the Republic, Part One
Hardly any present-day political analyst dares say that the decadence of the current presidential debates in America is a reflection of Democracy, a form of government that was scorned by all political philosophers until Machiavelli.
Democracy is the religion of the modern world, and though it has liberated the masses from slavery and tyranny, it has not fostered virtue and loftiness of mind. Indeed, the highest end of democratic politics today is comfortable self-preservation.
How ironic! While the college-educated leaders of American democracy are preoccupied with nothing higher than comfortable self-preservation, America’s deadly enemy, Islam, exalts death! Indeed, the mantra of Islam is encapsulated in Sura 9:111 of the Qur’an, which exalts the Muslim who “slays and is slain for Allah.” And lo and behold, some Americans, bored with the hedonism conspicuous in American democracy, have joined ISIS! I wonder whether any of them have gone to college where they imbibed the charming campus adage “I’m okay, you’re okay,” which in principle makes ISIS okay!
Let’s face it: America is steeped in moral anarchy or nihilism, but you would never know of this from the presidential debates. These so-called debates are not only intellectually dismal, they display a shameless egoism. They constitute a commentary on the dismal level of higher education in America. This education has stultified the minds of one generation of college students after another.
We are witnessing this degradation in the current presidential debates. It would be a grave error, however, merely to single out a particular culprit, since none of the participants exhibits either the intellectual capacity or the moral courage to expose the pernicious pedagogical doctrines that have been corrupting the minds of college students for at least two generations, as I have documented in a 1968 article published in the Congressional Record, an article emphatically relevant to decrepit foreign policy of the Obama Administration.

Depression verses “helicopter money”

QUESTION: you wrote the Socrates site on 3/23/2016 “Once the “confidence” in government cracks for the BULK OF THE SILENT MAJORITY who do not listen to money supply and conspiracy theories, then we move into game over. That is when we will see assets rise as confidence shifts from a corrupt government for the majority will no longer trust then and they will turn to the private sector.” Mr. Armstrong can you please name the private assets that will appreciate? and if there are similarities with 1929, where we are now in 2016? Thank you for all your efforts to teach us the world economy.
DS

ANSWER: There is absolutely no correlation with 1929 from the USA perspective. The people who see that nonsense do not know the facts or the history. The 1931 Sovereign Debt Crisis was omitted from the history books. John Kenneth Galbraith blamed corporations in his book the Great Crash which ignored the government defaults and blamed corporate America. There was no “helicopter money” for it was exactly the opposite – massive DEFLATION. There was a shortage of money to the point that hundreds of cities began to issue their own “Depression Scrip”.
All of these forecasts keep projecting hyperinflation are based solely upon a misguided notion of what caused the German hyperinflation. The USA suffered massive DEFLATION because of a contraction in money supply, not inflation. So what we face is not a 1929 scenario and the analysis put out there on that event is commingled with the German hyperinflation creating a hybrid of something which has NEVER taken place in history even once.
Everything hinges upon the “confidence” of the silent majority. They are starting to rumble. That is the key to the future. We are watching this beginning and that is Trump, precisely in line with out model calling for political chaos to emerge in 2016.
The Donald Trump of China Ren Zhiquiang

The number one issue concerning Donald Trump is the misrepresentation that this is about Trump. We are watching a worldwide uprising against government. This is the West’s version of 1989 which took down Communism. We are witnessing opposition to the establishment everywhere from Germany, France, and Britain, to even China. The Chinese version of Donald Trump is Ren Zhiquiang, who has defied the Communist Party Leader President Xi Jinpeng. Normally, anyone who would criticize the head of the party would end up in prison. Things are changing on a global scale. This is what our computer model has been warning would lie on the other side of 2015.75. What has emerged in China is rather amazing, for the sophisticated Chinese people, including scholars, journalists, students and dissidents, have all supported Ren against the Chinese Communist Party. That is quite amazing and unprecedented in modern times.
The “establishment” in so many countries are refusing to connect the dots. There is a change in the political winds and what is coming is something that takes place about once every 309.6 years. The last change in the political wind produced the American Revolution against monarch which caught on in France, and eventually in England structurally. The question is what will the wind blow into town this time? Democracy at last? Or will be it be more oppression from the establishment?
Have Governments Always Spent More than Tax Revenues?
Armstrong Economics Blog
Re-Posted Mar 26, 2016 by Martin Armstrong

It might surprise many, nonetheless, governments have routinely spent more than they take in from taxes. In ancient times, governments simply minted more coins to fund their operations, they did not generally borrow. Some Greeks borrowed from the temples to fund wars and did default. However, typically, tax revenues amounted to only about 80% of expenditure. Records have survived as well as dies from which coins were struck. Pictured here, you will see an actual Roman die from the Republican period which has survived. Each die was hand carved so we can distinguish between dies and as such, the fact that the average number of coins produced before a die breaks is about 15,000. Here is a coin struck from this issue that this die represents. Since we can catalogue the number of known dies, we then can reasonably estimate the annual production of money in the Roman Republic as well as the Imperial era.
The above chart demonstrates the annual production of coinage during the Roman Republic 155-66BC. We can differentiate periods of contraction (deflation) from inflation. We can see that some periods were clearly deflationary and there emerged a shortage of money at times. The Roman Emperor Tiberius, who followed Augustus in 14AD, was notoriously frugal. We find private coinage appearing as tokens to make up the difference for such periods of deflation.
The private token issues during the period of Tiberius (14-37AD) are reminescent of the Great Depression when hundreds of cities issued Depression Scrip. We also find private token coinage produced during the American Civil War. They even issued Postage Currency whereby stamps were exchanged as money.
If we then can ascertain the annual production of coinage with a reasonable degree of accuracy, adding up those annual production figures will give us a look at the total money supply. We are then able the also reasonably ascertain that the Roman government collected only about 80% of its total expenditure from taxes. The rest was not borrowed, but simply produced.
Consequently, this provides the understanding as to why there would even be the practice of debasement. The fact that tax revenues fell short of expenses explains that about 20% of the annual budget was covered by new mine production. Rarely has there ever been a “balanced” budget based exclusively on tax revenue.
This further explains why coins of someone like Gordian I (238AD) who reigned only thirty-six days have survived and bring today about $3,000 instead of hundreds of thousands.

Then there is the coinage of Didius Julianus, his wife and daughter who ruled only for 66 days in 193AD. The corruption had reached such levels that it was clear that the decline and fall of the Roman Empire began at this junction in time. The Praetorian Guard actually accepted bids for the position of Emperor. There were two rival bidders who presented themselves – Titus Flavius Sulpicianus (father-in-law of Pertinax) and Marcus Didius Julianus. Didius’ bid was 25,000 sestertii per man, which was the high bid and he was duly declared Emperor. This is why there was so much coinage which has survived for someone who was in office just 66 days.
Today, to cover the short-fall, governments borrow each year with no intention of paying anything back. The Romans did not borrow, they increased the money supply to cover the short-fall in expenditure. This was the common practice and it did not cause runaway inflation. That came during the 3rd century following the capture of Valerian I by the Persians who turned him into a royal slave and when he died, they stuffed him as a trophy. This resulted in the collapse in the money supply as people hoarded and feared the invasion of barbarians. This is when the wall was built around Rome by Aurelian (270-275AD).
Should we stop the borrowing and just increase the money supply as a finite percent of GDP? This makes sense when at time up to 70% of the accumulated national debt has been simply interest expenditures.
