Lazy-bone activists of CHAZ, (Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone), holding a six-block area of Seattle hostage, and now asking for area restaurants to send food, should be told what their mothers should have told them when hollering up for dinner from their at home basement digs: “Get our own food, you good for nothing bums!”
Having hunkered down in the Seattle Police East Precinct, their home away from Mama’s basement, they’re sending out Tweets for guns, Gatorade and cigarettes.
Occupy Wall Street activists demanded gourmet foods from nearby restaurants
Guns are what their Democrat masters are trying to have taken away from the masses.
Cigarette smoke pollutes the lungs of those around them.
Gatorade?
Try drinking water. It’s Free, at least until the government finds a way to charge for it.
Notice how most protester/demonstrator/activist ransackers demand to be waited on even as they lay about in areas they illegally take over as their own?
When OWS (Occupy Wall Street) activists took over Zuccotti Park in New York City they demanded gourmet foods from nearby restaurants.
“We can read daily all about the Nazi/Communist-endorsed Occupy Wall Street (OWS) members’ public sexual depravities and their unbelievable grumbling greed about being tired of sharing gourmet food with the homeless, but nothing about a group whose noble aim it is to restore the Constitutional Republic.” (Canada Free Press, Nov. 2, 2011.)
Current CHAZ freeloaders will never admit it, but they can’t really count on the Free Stuff For All promised by liars like Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, AOC, et al, but can take at face value the stupidity of businesses situated inside CHAZ.
“Businesses situated inside CHAZ, including dozens of restaurants and bars, have put out free food, medical supplies, masks and other necessities to help sustain protesters, according to reports by King 5.” (Fox News, June 12, 2020)
While taxpayers have to sort their garbage for pickup and are charged by municipalities for collection, CHAZ has started a garbage program, according to reports to Fox News by an ‘Insider’.
“Other local reports state that CHAZ has also started planting a garden.” (Fox News)
That was until a homeless person laid claim to it.
Don’t count on anything growing there, too much elbow grease for wait-on-me activists
Don’t count on anything growing there, too much elbow grease for wait-on-me activists.
“One agitator group on Twitter posting photos inside CHAZ showed a list of items needed by demonstrators including cigarettes, tents and bedding.” (Fox News)
“Despite President Trump vowing to straighten the situation out if the local government didn’t take care of it, it would appear these protesters are preparing for an extended stay.”
While hunkering down in comfort at the Seattle Police East Precinct, area residents are being left at risk.
“Police have also said their response time to 911 calls has tripled over the last few days because they are unable to access the downtown region and are being blocked out by protesters.” (Fox News)
Answering these nagging questions would go a long way to identify who the CHAZ activists really are:
What has the creation of CHAZ got to do with the tragic death of George Floyd?
What has CHAZ got to do with the media and Democrat-pushed defunding and even abolishment of the nation’s police forces?
Most significantly, what has CHAZ got to do with curing Americans falsely accused of “systemic racism”?
Diddly-Squat!
CHAZ should be renamed as City-Held Anarchist Zone.
These deadbeat free loaders are like dogs’ fleas—easy to pick up, but so hard to get rid of.
The United States of America will never be the same, it will be a much worse place to live and work. Amid a three-month pandemic there has been a three-week cultural revolution, ignited by the brutal death of African American George Floyd in Minneapolis, that has changed our country forever.
Our country is a great experiment, a diverse nation of 50 states united by a founding document that enshrines God given rights that people in other countries can only dream of realizing. The United States has become not only the world’s only superpower, but also a country that has been a beacon of hope and freedom to the world.
Evil forces are succeeding in permanently changing our great country
Unfortunately, evil forces are succeeding in permanently changing our great country. It was difficult enough for the nation to withstand its first national economic shutdown, but the troubles were multiplied when the nation witnessed the gruesome killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer.
Floyd’s death was captured on video and it sparked nationwide protests. The peaceful marchers were soon overwhelmed by looters and rioters who wanted to burn and steal. Mayhem was encouraged across the nation as liberal media outlets celebrated the demonstrations as a justifiable outpouring of anger after Floyd’s death.
The results were catastrophic as thousands of businesses were burned, looted, and destroyed. In Minneapolis, the carnage was breathtaking as 360 businesses were damaged or destroyed by an uncontrollable throng of criminals.
Sadly, in many cities, the police were resistant to engage outlaws, stung by accusations of brutality and racism. The National Guard had to be deployed in 23 states to quell the violence.
According to the U.S. Attorney General, the demonstrators were supported by the radical extremist group, Antifa, along with other leftist organizations. The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating how the demonstrations could multiply so quickly across the country. There is plenty to investigate, such as mysterious busloads of demonstrators being driven to protest sites. Also, there are conflicting reports about pallets of bricks oddly appearing in downtown areas.
Tragically, the victims of the madness were often African Americans. Dozens of people were seriously injured or killed by the rioters. For example, an African American St. Louis security guard and retired police captain, David Dorn, was killed outside of the pawn shop he was trying to protect.
The political left is following the maxim “never let a good crisis go to waste.”
While Floyd was remembered with multiple funerals and worldwide expressions of grief, Dorn and other victims of the rioters have been practically ignored.
The political left is following the maxim “never let a good crisis go to waste.” The attacks on businesses and innocent people have also developed into regular attacks on police officers. The battle cry of many of these protesters is to “defund the police.”
Such a policy would be total lunacy. While some police officers are racist or unstable and need to be removed from their departments, the vast majority do a tremendous job of protecting and serving the public. We need to properly pay and honor our police officers instead of attacking them.
A country without “law and order” is a country that will soon disintegrate. This is exactly the goal of some of the radical left protesters. In Seattle, a seven-block area of the city has been seized by anti-government demonstrators. The area has been renamed the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, nicknamed CHAZ.
Before relinquishing their hold on the area, the protesters have stated that their list of 30 demands must be met. The list includes “the abolishment of imprisonment,” and the “abolition” of the Seattle Police Department. Instead of removing these anarchists from her city, the Mayor of Seattle views the protesters as patriots who are having a “block party,” and a “summer of love.”
The radical left not only wants the police to be disbanded and defunded, but they also want all monuments to “white supremacy” destroyed. Thus, mobs across the country have spent the past three weeks pulling down monuments to Christopher Columbus, confederate generals and any individuals deemed to be offensive in any way. No police were stopping these hooligans, who should all be arrested for the destruction of property.
This cultural jihad is extending to the universities where professors who do not parrot the correct talking points on these protests and the demands of the Black Lives Matter movement are being targeted, suspended, and fired.
Almost 300 companies, including Amazon, have expressed their support for Black Lives Matter
Almost 300 companies, including Amazon, have expressed their support for Black Lives Matter. Any Americans objecting or even saying “All Lives Matter” face the wrath of the mob. The victims include a Sacramento Kings broadcaster who was fired for such a tweet and a New Orleans Mardi Gras captain who is facing the total desertion of her krewe membership for daring to show support for “All Lives Matter.”
The mob has also succeeded in forcing the cancellation of two popular television shows, Cops and Live PD. Supposedly, the programs glorified police officers too much. Even more ominously, the Academy Award winning classic, Gone With the Wind, voted the most favorite American movie of all-time, has been removed from the film catalog at HBO Max. The censors at the network are busy crafting suitable language condemning the racism of the movie. Once that is finished, the movie will be returned to the airwaves, but this time with a disclaimer that will air before the movie begins so that audiences can be properly educated.
What is next America? It could be book burning or other draconian attempts to squelch free speech or free expression. In America today, only groupthink is allowed and anyone daring to have an opposing point of view will be ostracized, fired and it is not unimaginable to think, one day, imprisoned.
This is not America, the country we have today is becoming hell.

Bailey Family Photograph Collection, ca. 1895-1964 (UALR.PH.0083), UA Little Rock Center for Arkansas History and Culture.Editor’s Note: Savvy senior CFP columnist Lee Cary, who doesn’t believe in the wholesale destruction and removal of historical monuments, called out the hypocrisy of the Democrats five years ago on American Thinker: “As Confederate flags come down, so should the monuments that honor the Democrat politicians who overwhelmingly supported The Southern Manifesto of 1956”, writes today: “If the Democrats want to remove statues, here’s a challenge to them”.
As Confederate flags come down, so should the monuments that honor the Democrat politicians who overwhelmingly supported The Southern Manifesto of 1956.
The Southern Manifesto – officially entitled The Decision of the Supreme Court in the School Cases Declaration of Constitutional Principles – was signed by 101 members of the U.S. Congress, including 19 senators and 82 members of the House of Representatives. Ninety-nine of them were Democrats.
All 19 Senate signatories were Democrats: Walter F. George, Richard B. Russell, John Stennis, Sam J. Ervin, Jr., Strom Thurmond, Harry F. Byrd, A. Willis Robertson, John L. McClellan, Allen J. Ellender, Russell B. Long, Lister Hill, James O. Eastland, W. Kerr Scott, John Sparkman, Olin D. Johnston, Price Daniel, J.W. Fulbright, George A. Smathers, Spessard L. Holland.
The Manifesto was entered into the Congressional Record, 84th Congress, Second Session, Vol. 102, Part 4, on March 12, 1956, as a response to the 1954 Supreme Court ruling in Brown v. Board of Education.
It included this language:
This unwarranted exercise of power by the Court, contrary to the Constitution, is creating chaos and confusion in the States principally affected. It is destroying the amicable relations between the white and Negro races that have been created through 90 years of patient effort by the good people of both races. It has planted hatred and suspicion where there has been heretofore friendship and understanding.
The effort underway today to shame the display of the Confederate flag should be rightly accompanied by a removal of the monuments to those national politicians who, 60 years ago, claimed that “amicable relations between the white and Negro races” was being perpetuated by separate but equal educational opportunities.
Arkansas Senator J. William Fulbright
Those monuments include statues of Senator J. William Fulbright (who received the Presidential Medal of Freedom Award from President William Jefferson Clinton)…
West Virginia Senator Robert C. Byrd
…West Virginia senator (and former Ku Klux Klansman) Robert C. Byrd…
North Carolina Senator Sam Ervin

South Carolina Senator Strom Thurmond
…South Carolina Senator Strom Thurmond, drafter of the original version of the Manifesto…
Louisiana Senator Russell B. Long
…and Louisiana senator Russell B. Long, son of Louisiana governor and U.S. senator Huey Long.
If there is no honor in the memories evoked by the Confederate flag, then there is even less to be found in the statues depicting those prominent politicians who fought for segregation well into the 20th century.
The two destabilizing events recently occurring back-to-back, the response to the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic and the George Floyd rioting, illustrate well how America is now institutionally incapable of making decisions in her own best interests. That is, the overreaction to the disease and under-reaction to the rioting reflect a country long demoralized.
Moreover, if that’s not troubling enough, know that this is a state of being that usually leads to tyranny.
How about people who think eliminating ICE, borders and the police are positive measures
We’d had pandemics before — ones causing more death, especially when adjusted for population — but we’d never before embraced lockdowns, a cure worse than the disease.
But at least the disease was a relative unknown; riots are not. People the world over know how to deal with riots, and this isn’t by letting them metastasize so thugs can run wild, hurt the innocent and destroy the nation. Yet our “leaders” fiddled while the country burned, motivated by moral confusion and weakness and some, most certainly, by ulterior motives.
You may recognize “demoralization” and “destabilization” as the first two steps in the process of communist subversion, explained well by late Soviet defector Yuri Bezmenov, a KGB agent who fled to Canada in 1970. Bezmenov stated in the mid-1980s already that the process of demoralization — an undermining of a target nation’s morals that makes it ripe for revolutionary takeover — was “basically completed already” in the United States. But a money line is what he said about demoralized people:
”[D]espite…the abundance of information, no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interests of defending themselves, their families, their community and their country. It’s a great brainwashing process….”
Sound familiar, maybe a bit like people who can’t figure out how to handle rioters and why it’s necessary? How about people who think eliminating ICE, borders and the police are positive measures (I refer to the actually sincere individuals)?
Our society actually demonizes the elements of morality — virtues — while elevating vices
Bezmenov also said that demoralized people “are programmed to think and react to certain stimuli in a certain pattern; you cannot change their mind.” Sound familiar, perhaps like people who react to truthful statements by reflexively shouting “racist!” or “white supremacy!”?
One more familiar sentiment: Bezmenov also stated, “A person who is demoralized is unable to assess true information — the facts tell nothing to him.” Just think here about how many today will react to airtight, fact-based, logical arguments not with assent or even open-minded pondering, but with angry rejection.
Note here that numbness to Truth is nothing new. British satirist Jonathan Swift observed hundreds of years ago already (I’m paraphrasing) that you “cannot reason a man out of a position he has not reasoned himself into.” The difference is that the process of demoralization in question yields large numbers of people egregiously detached from reality in a way that serves a specific agenda, and who are virtually impossible to change.
Our thoroughly demoralized state can best be understood by grasping how our society actually demonizes the elements of morality — virtues — while elevating vices. Chastity is called prudishness while sexual depravity is normalized and lust is branded “lifestyle choices.” Emphasizing diligence and its fruits (e.g., punctuality, hard work) is called “white supremacy” while sloth is rewarded with handouts. Prudence (wisdom) is branded bigotry while foolishness is called “wokeness.” Faith is deemed fantasy while secular cynicism is thought sophistication. Actions reflecting courage are called cruelty and cowardice is called compassion. Humility is considered weakness while pride is labeled “high self-esteem.” Patience is devalued while acting on wrath is called activism. Kindness is lacking while envy is euphemized as a desire for “social justice” and “equality.” This is a time of moral inversion.
George Soros “installed” district attorneys who won’t prosecute rioters
The result? Spoiled brats have access to supermarkets abundantly stocked with food, free time to fritter away on frivolity (including mindless protesting) and are awash in luxury goods — yet wail that they’re “oppressed.”
These people, of course, are the sheep. But there are also wolves in a sheepdog’s guise who herd the sheep toward revolution. Both types, do note — the demoralized and dull (credulous) and the demoralized and demonic (calculating) — are found in government and other influential positions.
Thus do we have many prominent people doing the unprecedented: actually encouraging the rioters. The result is that the destabilization is intensifying, aided and abetted from above and via demoralization-born policy.
Consider: One thing helping quell riots is arresting rioters and keeping them locked up until matters cool down. Recently enacted “bail reform” laws (in NY, for example) make this impossible, however, because they’re leading to rioters and looters being immediately released. Add to this George Soros-“installed” district attorneys who won’t prosecute rioters, and the picture is clear:
The powers-that-be are keeping these left-wing insurrectionists on the street, giving them free rein to destabilize society further.
Orchestrated by well-funded “astroturfing” puppeteers behind the scenes
Some of what’s occurring today is orchestrated by well-funded “astroturfing” puppeteers behind the scenes, but this isn’t new, either. Remember, Democrat operatives were caught on hidden camera in 2016 confessing to how they were fomenting violence at Trump rallies. One of them, Scott Foval, actually said, “We’re starting anarchy here.”
Yet the mainstream culture has become so demoralized that much of this aid is overt. Just consider all the corporations that support, and even donate money to, Black Lives Matter and other similarly disposed groups. Cisco, for example, gave $5 million to BLM & Co.
When a country’s destabilization becomes severe enough, it can move into subversion’s next stage: crisis. This period only takes weeks and is when a revolution occurs that can sweep the puppeteers into power. This absolutely is the goal of the most Machiavellian authors of our destabilization.
Obviously, our country isn’t in this sense in crisis yet, but there are many disturbing developments. One, for example, is that ex-generals have been speaking out against President Trump. Emboldened by this, Stalin-enabler The New York Timesencouraged the military to disobey the commander in chief and a University of Chicago law professor actually called on the generals to depose and jail the president.
The last stage of subversion is “normalization”
The last stage of subversion is “normalization.” This is a euphemism for stamping out all dissent and cementing control post-revolution.
Really, though, we’ve been experiencing this culturally, hence the term (not my favorite) “cultural Marxism.” Why, what do you think “cancel culture” involves? It’s about using extreme social pressure and the threat of career destruction to stamp out opposition to our politically correct cultural revolution.
For example, Sacramento Kings play-by-play announcer Grant Napear just lost his job for tweeting “All lives matter…Every single one!” while Los Angeles Galaxy soccer player Aleksandar Katai was axed over sentiments relating to the riots his wife posted to social media.
In contrast, L’Oreal just rehired black “transgender” model Munroe Bergdorf three years after firing him for disgorging racist sentiments such as how white people need “to admit that their race is the most violent and oppressive force of nature on Earth.” L’Oreal saw the graffiti on the wall.
So what’s happening is plain: Just as how the Iron Curtain-era Hungarian Marxists made clear that you could be Christian, sure — but they wouldn’t allow you to be Christian and successful — the leftists controlling our culture have made acceptance of their ideology a prerequisite for career success.
Now you know why cowardly quarterback Drew Brees folded like a tent after expressing patriotic sentiments; and why prominent people coast to coast have pledged obeisance to Black Lives Matter, essentially a terrorist group, on bended knee. They want to stay prominent and hope they can buy mercy by groveling.
I’ve been warning for years about how, due to moral decay (demoralization), our culture drifts “left” no matter who is in office. And politics being downstream of culture, we can’t lose ever more control over the culture-shapers — the media, academia, entertainment and, increasingly, big business — without ultimately losing the political sphere completely and irretrievably. FACT: Unless we can change our cultural trajectory, tyranny will be our lot. It’s just a matter of time.
The solution to demoralization is, of course, moralization (sense 3), the cultivation of virtue in the people. We can’t MAGA unless we MAMA: Make America Moral Again. We also can’t fight evil if we won’t even speak against it. Silence equals submission. Remember, too, that with every passing month the price of dissent becomes greater, the consequences for not registering it more obvious, and the odds of having an impact slimmer.
Right now speaking Truth may cost you money, but the price of being cowardly and morally corrupt today is that, tomorrow, uttering it may cost you blood.
For anyone interested, below is a video of Yuri Bezmenov discussing demoralization.
Atlanta police were called to a local Wendy’s restaurant Friday night on University Avenue where a man was passed-out in his vehicle in the drive-thru. After police arrived Rayshard Brooks, 27, was given a field sobriety test which he reportedly failed. Two officers then told Mr. Brooks he was under arrest.
Mr. Brooks then struggled with police officers as they attempted to handcuff him.
The struggle escalated and Mr. Brooks is seen on video fighting with the two officers and gaining a taser in the fight.
Mr. Brooks ran from the two officers who pursued him.
During the chase Mr. Brooks turned and fired the taser at the police. One of the officers fired his handgun at Mr. Brooks who later died in the hospital. Both officers were put on leave while the shooting is investigated by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI).
Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms said the shooting was unjustified and called for the Officer who fired the fatal shot to be fired. Atlanta Police Chief Erika Shields quit immediately after the Mayor’s remarks.
Protests began tonight and things escalated quickly. As a group of protestors blocked traffic on the interstate, another group descended the Wendy’s restaurant and set it ablaze.
Here’s a livestream of current events:

White House Chief Economic Advisor to President Trump, Kevin Hassett, discusses the status of the U.S. economy and the difference between Red State and Blue State economic growth. As Hassett notes the Blue states have an intention to hold down the economy.
Always the happy warrior, Hassett walks through the data of tracking COVID-19 cases and notes there is no correlation between the level of economic activity in an area, region or state and the scale of positive test results for the virus. This is a key point.
On the potential for a phase-4 economic relief package, Mr. Hassett notes any legislative action requested by the White House would be very detailed and targeted down to specific tax policy for specific industry. There is no spending package being considered by the White House; instead they are looking at targeted tax relief to assist. WATCH:
.
On a completely unrelated note Kevin Hassett is the kind of common sense advisor that all presidents’ would be fortunate to work with. He approaches the issues from a very pragmatic and reasonable direction, and is not prideful about saying a policy impact is unknown and should be monitored and adjusted in real time. We’re lucky to have him.
Things are slowly devolving into violent confrontation in the nation of CHAZ Seattle. However, the violence is not with law enforcement; the violence is internal as Antifa factions within the occupy movement begin doing what they are famous for, being violent.
An openly christian man walks into the occupied zone within Seattle, the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone or CHAZ, to share the message of Jesus Christ. The Antifa elements immediately confronted the man, threw him to the ground and began choking him.
The Christian Preacher professed his own humanity and proclaimed he was a “free man”, but the rulers within the CHAZ community would not accept his cries for freedom.
The Chazukstan mob surround the preacher, shouting at him, berating him, and eventually trying to beat him into submission. At one point they sat atop the preacher in the same choking position that killed George Floyd. No-one noticed the irony.
In the videos below the occupying CHAZ mob can be heard cheering for blood shortly before they stole the preachers possessions. The preacher said “stealing is not right” but the crowd did not care. This is the anarchist nation of CHAZ, where the mob rules.

This is a little lengthy of a discussion, but it touches upon something very relevant to this election cycle. Author Diana West discusses a network and pattern of ideology within the modern pentagon leadership, and how a worldview is threatened by President Trump. The interview and discussion is below.
The conversation necessarily gets in the weeds and is filled with unique insight into a very complex alignment. However, in the big picture it’s not difficult to figure out why the Pentagon would be opposed to Trump. During the campaign and early administration President Trump’s expressed foreign policy was viewed by NATO alliance members as a threat. The same type of perspective applies internally to the U.S. military.
President Trump’s preferred use of economic warfare makes the Pentagon’s role diminished. Instead of punching North Korea’s Kim Jong-un, President Trump hits the checkbook of Chinese Chairman Xi Jinping. The primary has become the contingency. The value of James Mattis replaced by the effectiveness of Robert Lighthizer. JC Milley isn’t in the planning room; Milley’s been replaced by Wilbur Ross (until he’s needed).
In the Trump era the President is telling the Pentagon where and when to position; and asks them for ‘contingency’ preparation. Decades of Pentagon-centric foreign policy is lessened by an entirely new geopolitical approach based on economic strategy.
Take away power, or worse yet, stop using military power, and the leaders within the system start to sense their institution becoming functionally obsolescent. Overlay this military view upon pre-existing ideological differences and the situation gets worse.
CTH touched on this last year when we noted how the Pentagon, specifically the joint chiefs, never took any action when Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman positioned himself as an opponent to President Trump’s policy perspective. The pentagon left Vindman on assignment to the NSC even after Vindman attempted to take-down President Trump.
Another example was Joint Chief Chairman Milley, and the visit Pompeo and Milley took to Mar-a-Lago in December, where they were informing President Trump of military strikes in Syria and Iraq *after* they took place. [Background Here] [Background Here].
Yet another related example was Navy Secretary Richard Spencer threatening President Trump and attempting to extort him into inaction over the disciplinary plans against the SEAL commando, Chief Petty Officer Edward Gallagher.
All of these examples paint a picture of a Pentagon operating outside the chain-of-command and civilian oversight.
Unfortunately, like all other issues in the era of hyper-polarization, normally democrats would be alarmed about military leadership going rogue with their own agenda; however, as long as their agenda is anti-Trump, the political-left is now okay with it.
Recently democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden was openly asking the U.S. military to initiate a coup against President Trump. The media didn’t bat an eyelash… The traditional checks-and-balances, things that keep us stable, are seriously getting sketchy.
Ms. West takes a deeper look at the internal ideology within the Pentagon and then notes the tentacles that extend beyond the military into the Brookings Institute and Lawfare agencies. The larger assembly of the resistance movement becomes visible. WATCH:

…. It’s only a “soft-coup” until the military shows up.
The U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Korea (ROK) is Harry Harris. The U.S. Embassy in Seoul, South Korea, has posted a banner on the building in support of Black Lives Matter. [Source]
At first blush it might seem a little disconcerting for the U.S. Department of State to be advocating on issues of political divisiveness around the BLM agenda; however, the BLM banner has simply replaced the rainbow banner (support of the LGBTQ community). In essence, the U.S. embassy in Korea is always advocating for social justice causes.
Ambassador Harry Harris likes to draw attention to himself and insert himself in the conversation whenever possible. Well known as an effeminate ambassador, Harry Harris enjoys parading around while politically twerking his social justice bona-fides to the global community as a way to engage in his own brand of U.S. diplomacy.
