Mexican President AMLO Hits Biden Over Likely Arrest of Trump, While Pushing Back Against Dangerous Cartel Narrative

Posted originally on the CTH on March 22, 2023 | Sundance

Let it not be said that Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez-Obrador (AMLO) does not understand what the Biden administration is attempting in the recent criticism and passive aggressive posturing toward Mexico.

Yesterday, AMLO was outlining a specific set of infrastructure initiatives that are ongoing.  Three new oil refineries together with new railroads and highways are under construction as the government continues positioning itself for energy independence. [Video Here]  However, it’s what he said after the energy remarks that’s really stunning.

The energy plan, which runs counter to the expressed demands of Canada and the United States, includes two regional ‘green’ refineries that will have the ability of turning used cooking oil into fuel.  However, the plan also includes new oil refinery capacity that will permit cheap gasoline independent of the need for Mexican oil to be refined in Texas and returned.

All of the refinery projects are on schedule to be completed by the end of this year and into 2024.  In essence, Mexico will have very cheap gasoline and diesel fuel in the near future.  This was previously outlined as a goal by AMLO in July 2022, and is against the interests the Biden administration.  Now those plans are becoming a reality.  Mexico is not joining the North American suicide mission of windmills, solar panels and reliance on unstable green energy.

Ever since the July 2022 Oval Office press conference at the White House, CTH has been saying to keep an eye on Mexico, because these energy plans align more with the BRICS nation agenda than the goals and objectives of the World Economic Forum (western nations).   It is not accidental the U.S. government, including our intelligence agencies and DHS, has been seeding a negative overall impression of Mexico ever since.

During his remarks, and showcasing that AMLO does actually understand how the Biden administration will/is using alternate angles to undermine the Mexican government, AMLO publicly hit back at Joe Biden over the pending arrest of President Trump.  As noted by U.S-Mexican correspondent José Díaz Breseño, “Angry at US criticism of human rights in Mexico, AMLO comes out in defense of Trump, assuring that his arrest would be a move to prevent him from running for President in 2024.”

President Lopez-Obrador also pushed back against the U.S. narrative about dangers in Mexico related to the cartels. “AMLO goes further to say that the Biden Administration has no right to speak about violence in Mexico since it allegedly authorized “sabotaging” the Nord Stream gas pipeline as journalist Seymour Hersh argues.” Breseño notes.

Have you noticed that not a single U.S. media outlet is reporting on this issue?  I have been looking, waiting to see if anyone would pick up on this very important story; yet, it is almost invisible in the United States.  This silence is not a mistake.  The UniParty media do not want these notations taking place.  Indeed, if we stand back and look at the larger geopolitical picture, we can again see that AMLO is a thorn in the side of the larger objectives of the western alliance.

We will keep watching…

The Banking & Debt Crisis Continues

Armstrong Economics Blog/Banking Crisis Re-Posted Mar 22, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

The banking crisis continues and it is impacting funds that have been buying bonds. Allianz, a subsidiary of Pimco, is writing off countless millions with Credit Suisse bonds. The banking crisis has been the result of artificially low-interest rates for far too long and banks were used to free money and buy long-term bonds all because they were making their money on the spread. Now that rates are rising, their risk management was effectively nonexistent, and thus the losses and widespread.

The Allianz subsidiary Pimco is one of the largest asset managers in the world. They have to now write off a loss in Credit Suisse bonds and it’s ain’t over yet as we head into April 10th.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) Issues Warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin for Human Trafficking, Child Abduction and Other Heinous Misdeeds

Posted originally on the CTH on March 17, 2023 | Sundance

Before looking at the absurdity of the International Criminal Court (ICC) position, it is worth noting that Russia, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, India, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, the United States and China do not recognize the jurisdiction of the ICC and are not member states in the organization {LINK}.

Additionally, I doubt the countries of Kiribati and Malawi are going to launch a military offensive against Russia; so, one has to ask, exactly what is this latest production about – amid the theater of World War Reddit.

The essential accusation is that Vladimir Putin took orphans out of orphanages in the Ukraine war zone and moved the children to safety in Russia.  Ergo, Putin is guilty of human trafficking and abducting children.

THE HAGUE (AP) — The International Criminal Court said Friday that it has issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin for war crimes, accusing him of personal responsibility for the abductions of children from Ukraine.

It was the first time the global court has issued a warrant against a leader of one of the five permanent members of the U.N. Security Council.

The ICC said in a statement that Putin “is allegedly responsible for the war crime of unlawful deportation of (children) and that of unlawful transfer of (children) from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation.”

The move was immediately dismissed by Moscow. […]  Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia doesn’t recognize the ICC and considers its decisions “legally void.” He called the court’s move “outrageous and unacceptable.”  Peskov refused to comment when asked if Putin would avoid making trips to countries where he could be arrested on the ICC’s warrant.

[…]Lvova-Belova, who was also implicated in the warrants, reacted with dripping sarcasm. “It is great that the international community has appreciated the work to help the children of our country, that we do not leave them in war zones, that we take them out, we create good conditions for them, that we surround them with loving, caring people,” she said. (read more)

Potential GOP Presidential Candidates – Spot the Neocons

Armstrong Economics Blog/Politics Re-Posted Mar 16, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

Can you spot the Neocons? Trump and Biden seem to be alone amongst GOP members in their desire to end America’s role in the Ukraine-Russia conflict. Trump said he would end the conflict within 24 hours, while DeSantis said Ukraine is not a vital national interest. Trump has already been attacked for merely existing, but now the establishment Republicans are going after DeSantis for his comments.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio criticized DeSantis for calling the war a “territorial dispute.” “Well, it’s not a territorial dispute in the sense that any more than it would be a territorial dispute if the United States decided that it wanted to invade Canada or take over the Bahamas,” Rubio stated. “Just because someone claims something doesn’t mean it belongs to them.” Clearly, this has no validity. The Donbas region has always been primarily Ukrainian. Those along the Canadian border don’t identify as American nor has their land been American territory since about 1846, when a treaty established the 49th parallel from the Rocky Mountains to the Strait of Georgia. Rubio also falsely claimed that the war is about Russia’s “sphere of influence, not so much about the land.” America had no reason to fear Russian influence at any point.

Nikki Haley, a popular potential candidate, is also pro-war. She claimed DeSantis is merely copying Trump on his opposition to mass deaths. “America is far better off with a Ukrainian victory than a Russian victory,” Haley said after claiming she does agree with Trump on “most policies.” Why would it be more beneficial to see an insignificant trading partner win? Is the result really worth the “blank checks” that we are sending Ukraine, as DeSantis said?

Lindsey Graham voices his terror of big bad Putin, and failed politician Liz Cheney is keeping her dad’s legacy alive by reiterating her desire to rid the world of Russia. Clearly, we can spot the Neocons and within the Republican Party who are within the establishment and will make choices based on the greater agenda rather than the wishes of the people. The issue of Ukraine will be a hot topic for the 2024 US Presidential Election, again, if the election is even permitted.

Lindsey Graham and The War Drum Band Going Bananas After Russians Intercept U.S. Spy Drone Over Black Sea

Posted originally on the CTH on March 15, 2023 | Sundance

Senator Lindsey Graham (U-DC) is trying to get the Libyan band back together as part of the effort to escalate a NATO war against Russia.  In the latest development, according to the U.S. version of events, Russia took down a Reaper drone over the Black Sea:

The MQ-9 Reaper drone was making a routine flight before it was intercepted by two Russian Su-27 fighter jets on Tuesday. The warplanes dumped jet fuel on the drone and flew in front of it in a “reckless, environmentally unsound and unprofessional manner,” according to a statement from U.S. European Command.

One of the Russian aircraft then struck the drone’s propeller, rendering it unflyable and prompting U.S. operators to ditch it in the Black Sea. (link)

The Russian version of events outlines something akin to Russian pilots throwing a Pepsi at it.  As relayed by Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov:

[…] “I explained the position of the Russian Federation,” Antonov said. “I stressed that the American UAV that was moving deliberately and provocatively towards the Russian territory with its transponders turned off violated the boundaries of the temporary airspace regime established for the special military operation, which was communicated to all concerned users of international airspace in accordance with international norms.”

“At the same time,” he added, “the Russian fighters scrambled to identify the intruder did not use on-board weapons or come into contact with the UAV.”

“The unacceptable actions of the United States military in the close proximity to our borders are cause for concern,” Antonov said. “We are well aware of the missions such reconnaissance and strike drones are used for.” […] “What do they do thousands of miles away from the United States? The answer is obvious – they gather intelligence which is later used by the Kiev regime to attack our armed forces and territory,” Antonov said.

[…]  “Let us ask a rhetorical question: if, for example, a Russian strike drone appeared near New York or San Francisco, how would the US Air Force and Navy react? I am quite confident that the US military would act in an uncompromising way and would not allow its airspace or territorial waters to be breached,” Antonov said.  “We proceed from the fact that the United States will refrain from further speculations in the media landscape and stop making sorties near the Russian borders,” he added.  (link)

The United States govt/military justified their operation near the Russian border by saying we patrol everywhere in the globe doing these surveillance missions, so the Russians just need to stop being so sensitive:

[…] U.S. Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa routinely fly aircraft throughout Europe over sovereign territory and throughout international airspace in coordination with applicable host nation and international laws. In order to bolster collective European defense and security, these missions support Allied, partner, and U.S. national objectives. (link)

And, of course, Senator Lindsey Graham demands an immediate U.S. declaration of war against Russia:

The West Threatens China for Conspiring with Moscow

Armstrong Economics Blog/War Re-Posted Mar 13, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

China has maintained neutrality throughout the 13-month conflict between Russia and Ukraine/the West. Yet, Western powers continue to threaten China and allege they are conspiring to send aid to Russia. The heightened attacks on China make one question if Western powers are deliberately instigating a fight. CIA Director William Burns said he is “confident” China is CONSPIRING to send military aid to Russia, although there is no evidence of “actual shipments of lethal equipment.”

White House National Security Advisor and Neocon Jake Sullivan has had harsh words for China in recent appearances. Sullivan boldly stated that aiding Russia would be “a bad mistake” for China, and that the US plans to send China “a strong message.” Again, China has done nothing wrong. There is no evidence of China supplying aid to Russia, and even if they did, that is not a crime, as Ukraine is not a NATO member.

(Imagine above: William Burns, right, at the Kremlin in 2005 with Russian President Vladimir Putin, center, whom he describes as 'an apostle of payback' © Reuters)

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning told the US that China would not heed to coercion. “On the Ukraine issue, China has been actively promoting peace talks and promoting the political settlement of the crisis. The US is in no position to point fingers at China-Russia relations. We do not accept coercion or pressure from the US,” Mao said. China will not support the West’s proxy war with Russia, but it seems that they are insisting China proves its innocence by ostracizing Russia.

Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang expressed outrage over sanctions placed on China for merely conspiring (i.e., no crime was committed) with Moscow. “[China] has not provided weapons to either side of the conflict. Why on earth are there blame and sanctions on China? This is absolutely unacceptable,” Qin said. “There seems to be an invisible hand pushing for the protraction and escalation of the conflict. Ukraine crisis is a tragedy that could have been avoided.”

This conflict could have been completely avoided had the Minsk Agreements been based on good faith. The war is a deliberate plot to usher in a new world order to eliminate energy-rich Russia from the global economy. The Kiel Institute for the World Economy in Germany estimated that $152.7 billion was provided to Ukraine as of January 15. The US has sent more aid than any other country but accuses its top trading partner of flaming the fires of international war. This is why there are no true diplomatic discussions with the current failing crop of politicians. The current agenda is to demonize Beijing as they did with Moscow to force it out of neutrality.

Colonel Douglas MacGregor & Sources

Armstrong Economics Blog/Ukraine Re-Posted Mar 7, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

COMMENT #1:  I have been watching Colonel Douglas MacGregor (ret), on alt news sites. He is a former tank commander in the Gulf war and has worked extensively with NATO, before retiring. I love his direct commentary – so in a nutshell he says the following:
1. Ukraine has lost up to 250k troops and they are in dire straits. They will lose the war badly.
2. The US military is in dire straits too and if push, comes to shove, could only provide 50k troops within weeks. They are down on ammunition (all gone to Ukraine) and the recruitment targets for all 4 branches are lower than what the DoD is telling us.
3. The European military is not ready at all and would be ineffective.
4. Which leads to him saying that the USA/NATO will not enter the war, because sane heads in the military will not allow it. I hope he is right, but he does not rule out false flags or Biden’s ineptitude.
You should watch him, he’s great, a man with genuine battle experience and knows the political machinations of DC, yet strongly anti war.

NC

COMMENT #2: Colonel Douglas MacGregor has often come out and confirmed what you have said weeks or months before. It looks like he has similar sources. He went to West Point. Did they also teach your War Model as did the Citadel? A lot of generals graduated from the Citadel.

Keep up the great work

HB

REPLY: Perhaps we both have similar contacts. As far as West Point, I do not know if they ever taught our models. What I do know, is that there is a serious risk that Uktaine loses and all the fake news that keeps putting out the propaganda has not considered what happens if Ukraine loses.

We Need to Question Who Authorized This Act of War

Armstrong Economics Blog/Rule of Law Re- Posted Mar 6, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

(Download this in PDF to forward to your Politican Wherever you are: Impach 3-6-23 )

Everyone needs to write to their Congressman and Senator demanding an investigation NOW! The acts of Victoria Nuland, most likely the leader of the pack, Antony Blinken, and Jake Sullivan actually rise to the level of Treason, – engaging in using the Executive Branch to instigate war against Russia when that is ONLY the power Constitutionally held by Congress. Meanwhile, Russian oligarchs who have direct ties to Biden and Hunter, are always exempt from his illegal confiscation of private Russian assets that are a flagrant violation of international law. That, many now question, might be tied to bribes for the “big guy” once again.

We need to call Biden to account. He is too out of it and easily manipulated taking orders from the Neocons (Victoria Nuland), to blow up the Nord Stream pipeline – the Neocon goal since the 1960s. This was an Unconstitutional Act of War, for such authority only resides in Congress under Article One of the US Constitution, the Authority of Congress to make war. This is why the press was immediately told to eat their own, Seymour Hersh, by their puppet masters – the Neocons. The mainstream press has been the cheerleaders to send your children to war to be slaughtered on the 21st killing fields to put a smile on the face of Victoria Nuland and friends.

President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and especially Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland as well as National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, should all be called before Congress and interrogated as to their acts. This is an impeachable offense. Victoria Nuland was in Kiev in 2014 pushing for the revolution telling the protester the US could not get involved unless 100 were killed. Nuland was there handing out sandwiches. She probably wanted to hand out warm milk and cookies to show US support for the revolution. It was the US who installed an unelected interim government that then sent the army to invade the Donbas which began this entire war. Nuland should be interrogated for abusing her position to further war that ONLY Congress can authorize.

Was she also involved in the fake negotiation of the Minsk Agreement to buy time to raise an army to wage war against Russia? Did Nuland tell Zelensky to say Ukraine would rearm with nuclear weapons on February 23rd to force Putin to respond that night in his national speech and then the next day, 24th, move to occupy the Donbas since he also refused to honor the Minsk Agreement? Has Putin really been the aggressor, or has this all been choreographed to support war as was the case with Vietnam and Johnson’s famous line that for all he knew they were shooting at whales that night, and we were never attacked?
