Horrific Chicago Statistics: More than 60 People Shot, 9 Killed This Weekend…

Good grief, this is horrific.   ABC News Chicago is reporting that over 60 people have been shot, with 9 killed, in Chicago just this weekend (Friday through Sunday).

(Chicago)  Dozens of people were wounded in shootings across Chicago since Friday, police said.  One paramedic described the evening as “a war zone.”

Since midnight, police said 43 people have been shot, six fatally. Since Friday at 5 p.m., 60 people have been shot, nine fatally, in shootings in Chicago.

34 of the shootings and five deaths occurred between 10 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday, according to police. During one two-and-a-half hour-hour period, 25 people were shot in five multi-injury shootings.  (read more)

How can these neighborhoods even function?

Perhaps it’s time to call in the national guard?

Beware of Social Justice


Dear Friends:

An interesting matter has arisen in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, but be assured that this idea could well surface in your hometown. (ADDED by Centinel2012: This could happen any where in this country and is totally against the US Constitution so you are now warned.)

Armond Budish, Cuyahoga County Executive, has suggested that there be a Human Rights Council in Cuyahoga County for a specialty group, specifically, and at this time, for the LGBTQ community (as though the Human Rights Council of the United Nations is so ethical and trustworthy).  Budish seeks a form of justice, but not the justice referenced in the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag, but a form of “social justice.”  However, the moment we divide Americans into groups and treat one group differently from the others, it is no longer true justice.  Rather, it is meant as boost or benefit for one select group at the expense of another.    

The commission would conduct investigations on gender issues and enforce and issue subpoenas as a quasi-judicial appointed attorney.  No one so titled should be able to levy monetary penalties, especially for undecided social, moral issues. 

Under the proposed law, the plaintiff (one who sues) would be financially supported by the commission, which opens up the proverbial can of worms because he/she has no “skin in the game.”  Unless the plaintiff bears the risk or consequences for his/her actions, the suit could be frivolous or malicious, and the victim harmed, whether reputationally or financially.    

Above all, this type of lawsuit is a kind of censorship system.  In our country, under our laws, the Bill of Rights guarantees the Freedom of Speech, but a legal threat creates an atmosphere of fear of consequence. This is not unlike the accusations of Islamophobia, when one might want to say something that is perfectly within his/her right but fears a penalty that could do him great harm.  This is unjust.

I ask the members of the Cuyahoga County Council to not vote to oblige your fellow council members, and not to vote because of the request made by the county executive, but to vote your conscience.  Put yourselves in the position of saying something, perhaps a little untoward or not meeting the “standards” of self-appointed morality police, but perfectly within your rights, and imagine someone deciding to sue you and being reimbursed so that the only one to bear the brunt of consequences is you, the unwitting defendant.

Venezuela – President Maduro Speech Cut Short – Reports of Possible Drone Attack (Video)…

Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro was delivering a speech today with a national military parade and all the structured festivities.  During the remarks, an explosion was heard, and several seconds later the crowd responded to state police rushing toward them. The broadcast on state television quickly cuts to a commercial. WATCH:

According to initial reporting there was a possible drone attack against the Maduro regime.  However, given the nature of the Maduro government, there is also strong opinion the attack was staged by the government to elicit sympathy.

Lady Liberty Protester, Patricia Okoumou, Holds a Courthouse Press Conference To Scream Against America…

The activist who climbed the base of the Statue of Liberty on Independence Day, Therese Patricia Okoumou, held a press conference yesterday outside a New York Courthouse in front of an adoring crowd of Democrat supporters.

Ms. Okoumou is a 44-year-old immigrant from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She lives in the St. George neighborhood of Staten Island, and took the opportunity yesterday to spew an anti-America chant during a news conference.  WATCH:

Therese “Patricia” Okoumou, the woman from the Congo who climbed the Statue of Liberty, was in front of the federal court begging for leniency. Then she went in front of the Courthouse and began screaming a vulgar anti-American chant while her Democrat activist supporters cheered her on.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Says We Live in Hyper-Capitalism & Socialism Will Conquer the World?

The Democrats are counting on a new generation of Socialists who know even less about how things work than just about anyone else perhaps in history. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has had a viral campaign video that has pushed her into stardom. Clearly, she won because of the Trump Revolution which is all about just throw the career politicians out the door. But there is a lot more to representing people. It would be nice to at least have someone who understands the subject matter.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez created a huge backlash over her description of Israel as an occupier of Palestinian land. She describes herself as a socialist, which enthralled the Democrats who love the idea of living off of other people’s money. She calls our economic system “hyper-capitalism” and says that capitalism has not always existed and will collapse. Equality to Democrats ends with race and gender. If you make more than them, that is “unfair” and you have no right to the fruits of your own labor. And for working hard your whole life and you want to retire, well you still have to pay property and income taxes. And of course, you saved to help your children, that’s not fair that they should inherit anything they do not have so they put in inheritance taxes.

So if Ocasio-Cortez has not lost the Jewish vote by saying that the Jews occupy Jerusalem, then in an attempt to explain why unemployment levels have dropped to lows of 3.9% and below under the Trump administration, Alexandria, who was an economics and international relations major, explained, “Unemployment is low because everyone has two jobs.” Obviously, she may have majored in economics and international relations, but there is clearly a reason she could not find a job and was still a waitress/bartender. It looks like she failed in both subjects.

The “Firing Line” host Margaret Hoover asked Ocasio-Cortez directly if she still thinks that capitalism is not the best system for promoting the middle class. Her response was astonishing:

“I think the [unemployment] numbers that you just talked about is part of the problem,” said Ocasio-Cortez. “Because we look at these figures and we say that unemployment is low and everything is fine, right? Well, unemployment is low because everyone has two jobs. Unemployment is low because people are working 60, 70, 80 hours a week and can barely feed their kids.”

If everyone is working 60 to 80 hours and that is why unemployment is low, I do not see where she is capable of basic logic. That would mean there is a shortage of labor and room for a lot more jobs so people can work just 40 hours.

Her comment that America’s economic system is “hyper-capitalism” is really strange. She defined her term: “So I do think right now we have this no holds barred, wild west hyper-capitalism. What that means is profit at any cost. Capitalism has not always existed in the world and will not always exist in the world.” Those are words right out of Marx and Lenin. They said socialism/communism would be the new world order and capitalism would collapse. In her world, what is yours is hers, and what is hers, is hers. Former workers speak out about how she was anything but fair in splitting tips. Preach what people should do, but never do it yourself.

The German Government Pays for 3 Week Vacation for Refugees to Go Home

You really cannot make up a story like this, because it sounds just so unbelievable. I am in Germany on business and did not see the place overrun with refugees as on my last trip. So I made some inquiries. To my complete astonishment, the German government is actually giving refugees three weeks paid vacations INCLUDING airfare BACK to the very countries that claim they are fleeing because it is unsafe.

So in other words, despite claiming their lives would be at risk if they were forced to return home, the government is paying them for a vacation to the very place they claim to be fleeing. You just cannot make up such a completely insane government policy. I know someone who works with the refugees and they confirm they are on vacation back home. Therefore, asylum seekers are nonetheless returning to their homeland for a “short time”.

I searched to see if I could find any article on the subject. I found how most are trying to cover the practice up. reported that a German Federal Employment Office spokesman said: “There are such cases.” Some stories are trying to deny the issue which was first reported by the leading German newspaper Die Welt am Sonntag, Refugees go on vacation, where they are allegedly persecuted which reinforces the growing problem caused by the fact refugees are allowed to leave the country for 21 days a year but are not obliged to say where they are going. Migrants are protected and are entitled to “privacy”.

My sources in Switzerland have confirmed the same problem, Dozens of asylum seekers who had apparently turned up penniless after fleeing what they said was a war zone were found to have flown home on holiday.

Die Welt reported just how screwed up the government is. There is no communication between government agencies. If an advisor in the Employment Agency gets wind that someone wants to go to Syria, for example, Die Welt reported they are not supposed to pass this information along due to data protection issues.

There is no actual proof that people a person is really persecuted in the home country. Syria was at least a war zone. People have been pouring in from all over North Africa which is not in a state of war. If someone is taking a vacation for 21 days at government expence back to the place they fled, common sense dictates they are not refugees. Government incompetent is just off the charts.

EU Regulation Leads to Wholesale Slaughter of Sheep

In Bulgaria, a farmer had one sheep that died unexpectedly and another which grew sick but survived. Both animals returned negative test results for a disease known as ovine rinderpest. The Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry slaughtered the entire herd and paid the farmer below replacement cost to save money for the state and then banned them from having livestock for six months. The government explained in a statement that as an EU member state, Bulgaria can legally institute animal vaccines by FORCE if it is in the essential interests of the community it is affecting. However, if Bulgaria adopts that policy, then the EU automatically imposes a ban on live animal trade and the exportation of meat and dairy products for at least two years following such a decision. Therefore, simply because of an EU regulation, animals are just slaughtered on a wholesale basis even if they do not test positive for a disease but might.

QUESTION: Mr. Armstrong – thanks for your efforts on providing us with links to the Magnitski video. I began watching the video last night and then came back to it this morning and was truly amazed that the link was no longer active.

I’m curious. Was Magnitski ever charged with anything and or why were they holding him? Yes, you are living proof that one can be held without a charge, but in your case, they wanted something. What is it that they wanted from Magnitski? Perhaps it’s obvious and I’m hoping you can fill in that void.

ANSWER: The director of the film, Andrei Lvovich Nekrasov, obviously began the film believing Browder. The more he dug into the film, the more the alibi of Browder did not make any sense. What he failed to do was actually investigate Hermitage Capital beyond 2000. If he did, he would discover that Browder was a MINORITY shareholder and Edmond Safra was the MAJORITY through Republic National Bank. Only after Safra was murdered, probably by Putin for allegedly blackmailing Yeltsin, then in the takeover of Republic National Bank, HSBC did not want to have anything to do with Hermitage Capital from an ownership perspective. They became the manager & trustee of the fund, which was very unusual to wear two hats if not unethical. That is when Browder gained his MAJORITY shareholding.

I believe Magnitsky was being held not just simply because of tax fraud in Russia by Hermitage Capital, but also for its involvement in the blackmail of Russia which ended up involving the Bank of New York $7 billion money-laundering case. CNN Money reported on September 1st, 1999 before everyone removed the theft from the IMF: “[They] funnel billions of IMF money meant to help transfer Russia’s communist economy into a capitalist one through a private company called Benex Worldwide Ltd. Eventually, the money went into and back out of Bank of New York (BK) and Republic National Bank, a unit of Republic Bancorp (RBNC), as well as several institutions in Europe, including the Union Bank of Switzerland AG and Deutsche Bank AG and its Bankers Trust Unit.” Nekrasov has had his hands full just trying to get the film shown. He is up against tremendous obstacles to shutting it down by Browder. (let’s see how long it takes them to remove the CNN story which states what I have been saying for years, they got Yeltsin to take funds from the IMF)

This is just the tip of the truth behind the entire case. I believe Magnitsky was being held in hopes that he would give evidence against the entire affair and that went beyond just tax evasion. What is really strange is that Browder resigned his American citizenship to escape worldwide taxation, yet he is able to get John McCain to sponsor his Magnitsky Act trying to get his money back from Russia. The US government has used the Magnitsky Act to demonize Russia and Putin and it has kept adding people to the list who cannot come to the USA even though they have NEVER been tried, charged, and had no connection with Magnitsky whatsoever. There is obviously duel purposes being served here and those in Congress just overlook Browder and his history
