This should not come as a surprise.
Facing an ever-diminishing number of Republican representatives willing to support Joe Biden’s demand for massive and unending spending for Ukraine, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson now tells DC media he will pass the spending with Democrat votes.
Retention and continuation of spending for Ukraine is the ultimate example of a UniParty Congress. The powers that control the mechanics of spending taxpayer money simply don’t care how much opposition exists amid the taxpayers. They will fund Ukraine, and public opinion means naught.
Emphasis mine, because there’s an ancillary story.
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, West Virginia — Speaker Mike Johnson told POLITICO that he expects to pass a future Ukraine assistance bill with Democratic votes, an acknowledgment of the persistent resistance to any new aid within the GOP.
Johnson said in a Thursday interview at the House Republican retreat that aid to both Ukraine and Israel could come up as one or even two separate bills. He said he anticipates it would happen using the House’s suspension calendar, which he’s used often in recent days to overcome pushback from his own party. (read more)
This type of outlook and UniParty ideology is what leads to this next dose of sunlight. President Trump refused to attend the Sulphur Springs retreat and talk to the Republicans gathered there.
(Daily Mail) – Former President Donald Trump rebuffed an offer to speak at the House GOP retreat in West Virginia, instead choosing to appear at a Florida court case related to his handling of classified documents.
The former president joined more than 100 House Republicans who chose to skip out their annual retreat, where GOP leadership hopes to get its free-wheeling conference behind a united message after months of inner turmoil.
Speaker Mike Johnson told reporters on Thursday he will impress upon members the importance of ‘stand[ing] together’ as they discuss their strategy on the economy, border and foreign policy. The only way to turn it around is to stop the fighting, so says the speaker.
‘Everyone says the next election cycle is the most important one of our lifetimes. We’re all accustomed to saying that, we say it every election cycle. Everybody knows this one truly is,’ Johnson said.
‘We have entire industries, sectors in the economy facing existential threats … the world is a tinderbox right now, because our stature on the world stage has been diminished,’ he went on. ‘There are so many problems.’
‘We have to stand together stick together. Get the job done,’ said Johnson. I’m absolutely convinced if we do that. They’re going to expand our house majority give us the Senate and the Republicans will take the White House as well and then we will all be in a much better mood next January because the agenda will change 180 degrees.’
But a stay at the plush Greenbrier Resort in the Allegheny Mountains was not enough to entice more than half of House Republicans. (read more)
The MAGA influence is fracturing the Republican apparatus. The traditional GOPe of Wall Street and Multinational donors is now about half of the Republican conference. The other half is MAGA-minded.
It’s progress, but painfully slow. The Ukraine funding issue has helped to identify the two groups more clearly; however, it is going to take a lot more effort to remove the remaining GOPe globalists. Keep fighting.

Regarding the handling of ‘classified documents’ Special Counsel Robert Hur testified today that President Trump and Vice-President Biden had identical outcomes. However, whereas Donald Trump is cognitively normal, Joe Biden is suffering from a diminished mental state, frequent confusion and absent remembering. Therefore, the elements needed for “intent” in the criminal statute did not apply to Biden.
Donald Trump is fine; Joe Biden has lost his marbles. According to prosecutor Robert Hur, that explains why there are two tiers of justice amid an identical set of infractions. As a consequence, the American people are expected to be okay with the reasoning for a DOJ double-standard. WATCH:
The full hearing video is below, but the essential element is just repeated. (1) Biden lied or could not remember on purpose; and (2) there are two tiers of justice, and the DOJ is prepared to defend their non-prosecution decision based entirely on cognitive “intent.”

A revolution cannot be used interchangeably with “civil war.” For you see, a civil war occurs when the people are divided and fight one another; a revolution occurs when the people join forces and overthrow the government. As indicated in the Oxford dictionary:
Revolution – a forcible overthrow of a government or social order, in favor of a new system
Civil War – a war between citizens of the same country
Politics has successfully divided the nation, and the pandemic exacerbated the differences between the left and right. They have attempted to divide us by class – the haves and have-nots. We have the welfare state on one side and a select few amassing the majority of the world’s wealth on the other. The 99% in the middle are now fighting against one another, with some pushing for socialism to ensure we are all financially equally. As the saying goes, “You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.”
They have attempted to divide us through religion, as we even saw Soros-backed protestors entering churches during services. Traditional values have been demonized by the left, who believes those wishing to preserve their way of life are outdated. The nuclear family, pillar to any religion and society as a whole, has been destroyed. Monogamy has fallen out of popularity and birth rates continually decline. People on the far-right do not want abortion under any circumstance or same-sex marriage. The people on the far-left believe children should have the authority to change their gender, and there are hundreds of genders to choose from.
They have attempted to divide us through race. They implemented Critical Race Theory curriculum in the schools intended to create white guilt and anger among minorities. Kids don’t see race, but the schools ensure they do at a young age. Politicians on the left continually promise reparations, believing that people should pay for the misdoings of their ancestors even though only a tiny fraction of Americans had ancestors who owned slaves. The public school curriculum supports far-left ideologies and indoctrinates young minds to believe in a false reality.
We saw the rise of movements like Black Lives Matter, where it was permissible to burn down cities with no legal repercussions in the name of civil rights. Then we have a disproportionate of number of Blacks in our prisons due to laws that were intended to target them. We saw a rising wave of hate against Asians after China was blamed for spreading COVID to the world.
Speaking of COVID, the pandemic did more damage to divide our nation than anything in recent history. People were forcibly separated and forbid to socialize with their own families. Religion was not enough of an excuse to avoid the vaccine or attend religious services. Countless small businesses failed and people lost their jobs, contributing to the class warfare crisis. The unvaccinated were demonized as the biggest threat to the nation and there were calls for their extermination. Everyone was forced to choose a side amid the pandemic.
If the people were not divided, they would realize that government is pinning us against one another. The current administration took the Constitution and set it on fire. We are rapidly losing every single freedom from free speech, the right to bear arms, and even the most basic right to elect the people in positions of power who make decisions on our behalf. The government is the enemy – there will be a revolution once people realize their fellow neighbor is not the problem.
By the time we get to 2032, that will be the light at the end of the tunnel. Neither side will accept the results of the election if they bother to hold one at all. The USA will eventually break into three primary regions: 2) the South & Midwest Bible Belt will join together against, 2) the Northeast, and 3) the Pacific States will be their own la-la-land. The volatility will begin in 2024, but by 2032, the United States of America will be far from united.

COMMENT #1: This is in regards to your blog labeled “Homelessness at All-Time High in World’s Wealthiest Nation.” My wife tried to get her Aunt, who has nothing but the clothes on her back, government assistant housing in South Carolina. They told us they haven’t been accepting applications for over a year. You can see for yourself on their SC assistance website. So I’m not sure what HUD means when they praise the Biden/Harris administration….

But after watching how hard these people are trying to stop him, it is obvious that they are scared to death of what happens if he wins. I have two sons, 18 and 20. I do not want to see them drafted to help Ukraine. This time, I am voting for Trump to save my children.

REPLY: The mainstream press has abandoned the people. All we get is nonsense and propaganda that comes from Washington; they click their heels and say Sieg Heil! So many emails are coming in that say they never voted for or liked Trump, but now they will vote for him to shake up Washington. These people in DC have to stop destroying this country. Trump is rising in the polls, NOT because he is some saint. It is all becoming so obvious that it is a vote against Washington.
It seems like a lot of people are coming to the conclusion that a vote for Trump is a vote against Washington and, certainly, the Neocons. A Trump victory would transform Washington into a sitcom.
Nevertheless, I think they would assassinate Trump before his hand hits the book. They cannot allow him to take office because they won’t get World War III. My concern is they intend to start war ASAP to box in Trump where he cannot exit a war they have already begun. Pay attention. NATO will be deploying more Troops on the border of Russia in Estonia and Lithuania, where they can launch an attack against Russia, whereas Ukraine is not a member of NATO.
The crisis would be the exposure of the FBI, NSA, and CIA and whether they would follow Trump’s orders. I seriously doubt that would happen. This is the Deep State fighting for its life. Maybe this is the time. We will have to see. The USA will not stand anyhow, and we are looking at the collapse of the country we grew up in because of the deep-seated corruption at every level. What the Biden Administration has pulled off in Colorado is just shocking – an absolute direct attack on the foundation of Democracy. Bideneconomics has been a disaster, and it will get a lot worse in 2024.

I took some time before posting about this decision by the Colorado Supreme Court, which is an all-Democrat-appointed court, because what I had to analyze was from a legal viewpoint and not partisan in any way. What these four Colorado justices, with their names in white, have done is in fact nothing shy of a staged insurrection in itself against the US Constitution and the foundation of American liberty that defines the nation as a free society. All the justices on that bench are Democrats, and the three filed dissents (names in pink) illustrate that this should NEVER have been a case that even reached that court and should have been dismissed from the outset.
Democracy has been killed not just in Colorado but for the nation as a whole. The rule of law is the alternative to force, and when there is no rule of law left standing to settle disputes in a civilized manner, then the only alternative becomes violence. My deep concern is that this total destruction of the rule of law is the final nail in the coffin of every empire, nation, or city-state. To my shock and regret, they have fulfilled Socrates’s forecast.
The Colorado Supreme Court has abandoned the very foundation of the rule of law. To remove Trump from the ballot in Colorado demonstrates that the court itself is a political cesspool of corruption. To further that point, they issued this decision denying Due Process of Law in a criminal matter implied by the 14th Amendment to a trial by jury, violating the Sixth Amendment and the 14th Amendment’s Due Process Clause. They have declared Trump guilty without a trial by a jury. What happened to innocent until proven guilty?
The Colorado Dissents
JUSTICE SAMOUR, in his dissenting opinion, points out that this decision is outrageous. He quoted Chief Justice Chase of the Supreme Court, who laid the very foundation of what the Constitution was supposed to be all about.
Now itis undoubted that those provisionsof the constitution which deny to the legislaturepower to deprive any personof life, liberty, or property, without due process of law, orto pass a bill of attainder or an ex post facto, are inconsistent in their spirit and general purpose witha provisionwhich, at once without trial, deprives a whole class of persons of offices for cause, however grave. InreGriffin, 11F. Cas . 7 , 26 (C.C.D. Va. 1869) (No. 5,815) (” Griffin’s Case” ) .
In his dissenting opinion, CHIEF JUSTICE BOATRIGHT stated that the court exceeded its authority under the statute authorizing a review. He rightly points out that this local statute was not enacted to decide whether a candidate engaged in insurrection. In my view, this cause of action should have been dismissed. I fully agree that this decision violates so many provisions of the Constitution it is a disgrace to the rule of law. If I lived in Colorado, I would move forthwith, for you would have zero rights on anything based on this decision.
PER CURIAM decisions are not always unanimous and non-controversial – which this is certainly not. Here we have three judges dissenting, showing their names, while the other three hide in the shadows. The Bush v. Gore, 531 US 98 (2000) decision is one of the most well-known Supreme Court cases with a majority PER CURIAM opinion that also contained additional opinions. There Seven Justices of the Court agreed that there are constitutional problems with the recount ordered by the Florida Supreme Court that demand a remedy. See post, at 134 (SOUTER, J., dissenting); post, at 145-146 (BREYER, J., dissenting). The only disagreement was as to the remedy.
This bogus decision is stunning, for it was issued PER CURIAM, meaning it is hiding the four judges’ names from the public, showing that they knew this was a political decision – not the rule of law. The local statute they claimed gave them the right to strip Trump and the American public of the right to a free and fair election violated the foundation of legal interpretation – the assumption that when the legislature passes a statute, it does not intend to violate the Constitution (see also The Constitutional Avoidance Doctrine).
A PER CURIAM decision is a court opinion issued in the name of the Court rather than specific judges. PER CURIAM, decisions are given that label by the court giving the opinion, and these opinions tend to be short. The opinions will typically deal with issues the issuing court views as relatively non-controversial. This is certainly not the case with this decision, and it violates everyone’s right to vote in the United States. Removing Trump from one ballot is election interference and will undermine the entire national election.
These four Justices, Gabriel, Hart, Marques, and Hood, are no longer qualified to sit on that bench, and they should be removed immediately, and this is not being Partisan. Under this theory that Trump is not immune because he was acting as a “candidate” and not as president, then these four judges were acting as Democrats and not as a judge, then they too should be stripped of all immunity and criminally prosecuted. Those judges themselves have committed a felony and should be removed from office immediately! Trump is 51% ahead of all Republicans, and these judges are sentencing the United States to civil war for, as our computer has forecast – NOBODY will accept this election regardless of who wins.
Astonishingly, these four justices would PRESUME Trump is GUILTY without a trial. Not a single person was charged with the crime of insurrection on January 6th. I cannot express how unconstitutional this decision is, for they will be remembered for justifying civil war, just as the Dred Scott Decision held that blacks had no rights under the Constitution to avoid having to apply fundamental constitutional rights to slaves. The Colorado Republican Party has just announced its decision to withdraw as a party and transition to a pure caucus system, allowing them to independently select their nominee in light of this amazingly partisan ruling that defies everything that was to define America and the land of the free.
Trump is entitled to a trial by jury, and he MUST be found guilty FIRST of insurrection under 18 USC 2383, and then, AND ONLY THEN, would the 14th Amendment apply. Anyone pushing this argument is violating the constitutional rights of everyone in this country. Even the lawyers involved should be stripped of their licenses to practice law and put on trial under 18 USC 594. The mere fact that the Department of Justice does NOT criminally charge anyone pushing this argument demonstrates that the Democrats and the Biden administration sanction this.
Here in Florida, the Democratic Party has come under fire from some of Biden’s Democratic challengers who say they were unfairly shut out of getting on the March 19 presidential preference primary ballot. The Democrats wanted to remove any Democratic challenger from the ticket to prevent Biden from losing. This 2024 election is being rigged so desperately that we face serious civil unrest.
NEVER in my wildest imagination when I looked at the forecast of Socrates back in 1985 when this cycle began, did I fully appreciate the net results that 2016 would be the first time a possible third party could win, the 2020 election would be rigged, and the 2024 election would either never happen or would never be accepted. Then, in the 2028 election, it warned that there may never even be an election by that time. Putin never interfered with the 2016 election. Our computer had forecast that 3 out of four models projected a Trump victory.
Why do these people hate Trump so much? They are desperate to retain power, and Trump dares to fight back. They have moved to keep RFK off the ballot because he, too, is an outsider. Just look at the timeline of what they have done. Hillary created a fake dossier trying to link Trump to Putin, and John McCain, the godfather of neocons, handed it to James Comey. They got caught, and Comey claimed he never took notes when he interrogated Hillary – yet took notes just talking to Trump on the phone.

They impeached Trump Twice in a desperate effort to discredit him. Then they bussed in FBI staff dressed as Trump supporters to stage the Capital so they could use this 14th Amendment to prevent him from running. Others were ransacking the capital dressed covertly in black. Pelosi’s Son-in-Law was there too, taking his picture shown here – was he an Insurrectionist?
They then charged Trump in three proceedings, and the Special Prosecutor indicted Trump in Washington, DC, where he could indict a hard-boiled egg, calling it a Republican’s egg all for a case in Florida – absolutely unprecedented and illegal under the venue requirement of the Sixth Amendment. This Special Prosecutor, in jumping to the Supreme Court, has further denied Trump the right to appeal these rulings. If the Supreme Court accepts Smith’s argument that Trump has no immunity, it is time to turn out the lights on the future of the United States. Legally, they should rule 9:0 that Trump is immune. If not, civil war is inevitable.
I can confidently see what our computer is forecasting: there may never even be a 2028 presidential election. The United States will most likely head into a separatist movement by 2027. Like all empires that have gone before us, the United States will be buried in a common grave with all the other governments that turned tyrannical throughout history.
These people are so out of control, tearing apart the very foundation of civilization, that they will resort to assassination when all else fails. They will blame some Mexicans or claim it was suicide as always, and no Democrat would ever investigate. Everything they have done to Trump so they get to rule tyrannically is coming to a head. The United States will no longer represent the land of the free and the home of the brave. Civilization exists ONLY when everyone benefits. Even as Abraham Lincoln said, a house divided cannot stand. The LEFT is trying to take the United States fully into the utopia of Marxism. Over 200 million people died in those revolutions. What will it be this time – more than one billion?
We warned that the 2020 election was going to be tight. While Trump should have won since the margin was greater on the first two models in what was otherwise a dead-heat, that is not the case when we look ahead.
The Biden Administration has so damaged the Democratic Party between Neocons and Climate Change extremists, that there remains the risk that it will splinter for 2028 if there is even an election. All of this hatred against Trump is undermining the confidence in the government to such an extent the United States will no longer be able to remain as a single country.

I hope everyone is living their best life despite the created chaos intended to destabilize us. Several people have inquired about my not writing extensive research articles lately. Here’s what’s up…
There is actually a confluence of merging events that requires me to pause and think long and hard about whether the next step is correct for our CTH community in general, and specifically for me personally. It’s also very hard to write about this stuff without sounding like a braggadocious nut.
Here’s the problem that 360 million+ people do not comprehend.
♦ I need you to think about the person you are familiar with who you believe has a solid grasp of the scale of the problem in DC. This person doesn’t need to solve it, they just need to understand how massive the problem is. Who is the person you would say understands the root and essential core problem that creates the corruption in DC? Does that person in your mind, the person who really understands at a granular level what this corrupt enterprise is really all about and how it works, does that person look like Donald Trump, or Devin Nunes, or Kash Patel, or Ric Grennell?
Who would you assign that competency skillset to? Seriously, no joke – honest question, who understands the scale of the problem?
Here’s the hard pill to swallow, it doesn’t matter what name you put down, you are wrong. None of the aforementioned names, or any others, have a total picture of the problem from both a macro and micro view. None of them do.
The silo system in DC creates impenetrable barriers. I have not found a single person who knows how it all works and connects as a corrosive cancer buried deep inside our U.S. political system.
Factually, and I mean this with no joke at all, if you have been reading here for a while you have a better grasp on the problem than any elected politician. This is not a disposable line. I’m deadly serious. I have not found a single person inside the system who understands the dynamic that creates what they claim to stand against, not a single person.
So how can they fix it? Short answer, they can’t.
The only people qualified to fix this mess are the people who understand it.
Again, do you know who that is?

♦ After 12 years of stewardship over our conversation, literally 24/7/365, I also admitted I was not following my own advice. As Dr. Stephen Covey would say, “I was not sharpening the saw.”
I did not write for 3 days over the Memorial Day holiday of 2011, but other than that (and time spent in Hurricane recovery) every day I have researched, written and worked on this labor of love we call the Treehouse.
As time continued, the network of the Treehouse resources grew. We now have the ability to contact and review just about every facet of that previously described corrupt system.
I spend more time in contact with those resources now, answering their questions and raising a few more nuanced points for my own inquires. This, along with travel to educate myself, is how I can assert with confidence that no one understands the problem better than, well, us.
However, when you spend time facing down this corrupt system, it starts to gnaw at you… bigly. I am a person with strong central disposition, not easily knocked off mission and certainly not ever destabilized by the professional liars. But dealing with them, writing about their schemes, putting the sunlight on them (not what they would have us see) while constantly monitoring their moves, is exhausting.
♦ At the same time as the above came into clarity, I was also planning for the 2024 election year. Y’all know it’s going to be ugly… the scale of government institutions that are going to align against Donald Trump is going to make 2016 seem like a stroll in the park.
Part of that planning included the potential to launch a twice weekly recap podcast. Literally a mechanism to distill CTH articles and analysis into 30-minute, no extra words, straight talk about events. Twice a week (Sat/Wed). Self-hosted and only viewed here on CTH as the originating platform.
Everything at CTH stays the same, but every Saturday and Wednesday there would be a recap video on the more challenging stuff. Many people have asked, but there are a lot of issues that need to be worked out before such an endeavor is considered.
I discussed the technical issues with our server and data processing group, they feel confident they could handle the traffic. However, that’s the same thing they said right before the unique CTH issue of ‘simultaneous users’ surprised them.
Put it all together and I decided to sit still and pray about the next steps.
It is true that something has to change, something or someone needs to break through the nonsense and pretending. It is also true that continuing to do the same thing while expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.
I made a promise to pause, think, study, learn and pray before making any decision. And I needed the break.
I have created this site to help people have fun in the kitchen. I write about enjoying life both in and out of my kitchen. Life is short! Make the most of it and enjoy!
