Another Prosecutor Shows Comey’s Complete Incompetence and Political Bias?
Former District Attorney for the State of South Carolina and a Federal Prosecutor, Trey Gowdy, tears James Comey apart illustrating how he has simply refused to indict Hillary when there is far more evidence what she did was scathingly criminal. But the Democrats will cover it all up far worse than the Nixon cover-up of Watergate. This actually involves complete incompetence of Hillary to hold any office involving the security of the nation. In fact, now Paul Ryan has petitioned the intelligence agencies NOT to provide security information to Hillary during the campaign. Hillary has no credibility and never has. Now the State Department is reopening the probe into Hillary’s emails since Comey refuses to indict. They will look at sanctioning Hillary and her staff. This is a scandal beyond belief for it involves the very security of the United States as well as the entire western society. Hillary has place the West in danger and has the audacity to run for president. Worst yet, the Democrats justify her actions so effectively this means every government employee can refuse to use secure government emails and it is not a crime.
The Rising Trend of Anti-Establishment and Civil Unrest

QUESTION: Mr. Armstrong; Your model on civil unrest and war seem to be rather amazing. The anti-establishment feeling is rising quite strong. Not sure what’s going on with Trump. It looks like the Republicans are still trying to prevent him from being the candidate. All the money is going to Hillary. Government is becoming very aggressive. It seems their police and military will turn against the people. Do you have anything showing this?
ANSWER: Every single government agency is arming itself. Even the IRS has AR-15 military-style rifles, and domestic agencies are armed to the teeth. In America, there are more domestic agents armed with weapons than there are Marines. There are more than 200,000 non-Defense Department federal officers authorized to make arrests and carry firearms. The federal government has tripled the number of agents carrying weapons to defend the government in the past 20 years. They know what is coming. They know the socialistic system they constructed is collapsing. Instead of reform, they are digging in their heels, prepared to plow down any domestic uprising. They have been staging military-like drills in U.S. cities against civil unrest. Obama imposed a “litmus test” on military leaders to ask if they would shoot civilians.
On the evening of Monday, August 18, 2014, the U.S. Army commenced military exercises in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. MH-60 variant Black Hawk helicopters buzzed through the downtown and residential areas of the two Midwestern cities, as reported by CBS local news. This shocking event was actually a repeat of the August 2012 exercises we previously reported. The U.S. Special Operations Command conducted exercises until the beginning of September along with police from Minneapolis and St. Paul using helicopters, including Black Hawks.
They know what is coming. The establishment by no means wants to see Trump in the White House. His is not one of them and they fear he will side with the people and reform government, right down to the pervasive nepotism. We are in a battle with very high stakes.
Politicians Are Still in Denial

Arrogant politicians are in a state of denial. Some politicians think Trump cannot win the general election and are still trying to deny what this election is all about. True, they concede, Trump received more votes than any other Republican in history. He beat every candidate, but that is still not good enough. He won the primary election but that is different from a general election. These politicians refuse to accept the idea that the people are just upset with career politicians in both parties.
Portland School Board Acting Like Nazi Propaganda Officers

Re-Posted Jun 4, 2016 by Martin Armstrong
Well if you live in Portland, you better get your kids out of school. The Portland school board is against free speech. Portland public schools have banned all textbooks that cast any doubt on climate change. They are tampering with free speech and denying any scientific examination by converting climate change into dogma and propaganda. This illustrates that once you give any group power over another, they ALWAYS abuse it.
If you remember history, Hitler also banned books. The Nazis orchestrated a massive propaganda campaign to win the loyalty and cooperation of Germans on a major scale. The Nazi Propaganda Ministry, directed by Dr. Joseph Goebbels, took control of all forms of communication in Germany: newspapers, magazines, books, public meetings, and rallies, art, music, movies, and radio. Viewpoints that threatened Nazi beliefs or the regime were censored or eliminated from all media. About a hundred years before the advent of Hitler, the German-Jewish poet, Heinrich Heine, explained history: “Where they have burned books, they will end in burning human beings.”
On May 10, 1933, students and storm troopers came together on the Opera Square in Berlin with books and writings deemed “un-German” and set them on fire. It does not matter what century we are in; the people on this school board are violating the very purpose of civilization. Banning any such book that disagrees with their view that climate change is caused entirely by man renders them no different that the Nazi movement to force compliance with their own beliefs.
German Flirt Courses for Refugees to Get Lucky

Well when a politician refuses to admit she ever made a mistake, what do you do, you go all the way. Believe it of not, Germany is creating Flirting Courses to help refugee men get lucky. Yes, taxpayer money is now trying to get the refugees lucky with German girls. So if you thought you have seen it all, the insanity never ends. There is always room for more when politicians are involved.
Meanwhile, in Munich, a beautiful city, one person has been killed and several were injured as an Islamist extremist wielded in a knife and attacked people in the rail station shouting “Allahu Akbar” (“God is great”) stabbing people randomly.
And BTW, now 2/3rds of Germans have had enough of Merkel according to the latest polls.
UN & World Bank Want to Tax Water

Re-Posted May 10, 2016 by Martin Armstrong
Well, all the fools who believe in climate change/global warming will be ecstatic to know that they can help the planet through the new proposal from the United Nations and World Bank. These wonderful entities are now forecasting a shortage of water in places like the Middle East by 2050. The solution will be simple: they will tax the rest of us and raise the price of water so that we can “conserve” to help other counties from running out of water.
I really do not understand how raising taxes on water in the USA could help to preserve water in the Middle East — but hey, what do I know? What I do know is that Al Gore said New York would be under water by now because the ice caps were melting. That has not happened, yet now there will be a shortage of water? Does that imply that the ice caps grew larger? This is very confusing and the analysis is rather stupid. They assume whatever trend is in motion will remain in motion; so if the stock market rises today, well it will rise every day forever. Strange analysis.
Congressional Elections for 2016
Armstrong Economics Blog
Re-Posted May 7, 2016 by Martin Armstrong
While the media focuses on the U.S. presidential election, the real power is dangling in Congress. The 2018 election will be far more important as there is a risk of Independents sweeping into Congress at that time. For now, there is a total of 469 seats in the U.S. Congress (34 Senate seats and 435 House seats) that are up for election on November 8, 2016.
John McCain is already concerned that he may lose his seat because he has come out in favor of Trump. Actually, I say good riddance. McCain voted to impose taxes on internet commerce. When asked why he supported raising taxes, he replied that he was not voting to raise taxes, rather he was simply voting to collect taxes that should be collected. McCain is a hypocrite. There is no country he would not invade, including Canada.
The big story of the 2016 election cycle will be in Congress. The congressional election cycle will determine whether the Democratic Party will be able to regain control of the Senate. In order to take that chamber back, the Democrats will need to gain five seats in 2016. That may not sound like a lot, but it could be very difficult. Republican incumbents, not Democrats, hold the majority of the vulnerable seats. Consequently, Democrats only have 10 seats to defend in 2016, while 24 Republican incumbents are up for re-election. There is a shot that the Democrats could accomplish a victory.
The Democrats have been in a bearish trend since the Great Depression and have been making lower lows. Nonetheless, independents are turning up. The success of Bernie and Trump shows that the public is in a foul mood. As we begin to get closer to the elections, this should begin to flesh out, especially in August. We have to be concerned that August is often a time of civil unrest/war. So, we may begin to see activity rise at that time prior to the elections.
You do have a young (and over-the-hill) socialist movement against Trump. They actually claim this is some new form of socialism where you can give them more without robbing the rich. Very strange. They are throwing words around that Trump is a racist as they are doing in Britain against Nigel Farage. They are completely ignorant since “Muslim” is a religion and not a race. The benefit of being young is you can also be stupid.
EU Conducts Military Exercises Based on Civil War Theories

It’s coming. About 600 members of European police units and military have carried out in North Rhine-Westphalia assault exercises intended to crackdown on civil unrest in Germany and other EU countries. The scenarios under which they are carrying out these exercises are based upon civil war-like conditions. Instead of reforms, they are digging in their heals for a fight. This is how all governments fail. They historically turn against the people they ultimately see as an enemy when they demand political change or action.
Historical Evidence of Climate Change Links to Political Change
Armstrong Economic Blog
Re-Posted Apr 25, 2016 by Martin Armstrong
QUESTION: Mr. Armstrong; I have read your thesis on global warming and that this is only part of a natural cycle. I admit that you have persuaded me whereas the claims are false especially that New York City should have been under water by now according Al Gore. You mentioned that there was global warming which enabled the Vikings to reach America because the ice melted. My question is rather blunt. If we are headed now into a global cooling period, what is the historical evidence that society also declines?
Thank you in advance
PD
ANSWER: I have reported that the peat fires in Borneo and Sumatra have now exceeded all the emissions from the entire U.S. economy. This whole movement is simply to raise taxes on the bogus theory of global warming. We are not so powerful to alter the course of cyclical movement of the planet. Bouts of global cooling (ice ages) as well as warming periods predate the combustion engine and mankind. It is rather questionable analysis to claim we have altered the climate. We are capable of polluting things, true. But actually altering the climate is something beyond our power.
Volcanoes are a major issue in climate change. Yes, studies show that the Hawaiian Kilauea show that the eruption discharges between 8,000 and 30,000 metric tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere each day, which has been going on for more than 20 years. However, gas studies worldwide by volcanologists have calculated that global volcanic CO2 production on land and under the sea release a total of about 200 million tonnes of CO2 annually. But this is really in the absence of any really catastrophic eruptions. Volcanoes emit also Sulfur dioxide SO2 which automobiles emit very little. When Mount St. Helens erupted on May 18th, 1980, it produced 1.5 million metric tons of sulfur dioxide on that one day and about 2 million metric tons for the entire event far more than automobiles.
Moreover, volcanic production of CO2 is by far not really the issue in climate change. Instead of global warming from CO2, it is the plume of ash in the sky which actually blocks the sun and reverses the climate from warm to cold like sitting under an umbrella at the beach. I have discussed Mount Tambora which erupted in 1816 and threw into the air so much ash that it snowed during the summer in New York City. It became known as 18-hundred-and-froze-to-death. I have shown the correlation of that eruption to wheat prices.
I have also written about the Maunder Minimum which sent the Earth into a cold period 300 years ago from the perspective of the cycle energy output from the Sun. I have also gone into the evolution of science which has been set in motion by the very discovery of a frozen woolly rhinoceros which altered science in many fields. I have explain how the temperature at the time of the American Revolution was at its lowest point in the cycle.

All of that said, the ice core samples have revealed that there were two major volcanic eruptions in two major volcanic eruptions in 536 and 540 AD which sent Europe into an ice age and wiped out the Roman civilization. Flavius Odoacer (433–493) was a soldier who in 476 became the first King of Italy (476–493) after deposing Romulus Augustus, the last official Roman emperor in the West.
Odoacer was overthrown by Theodoric the Great (454-526), the Ostrogoth. He was followed by Athalaric (526-534), and a few others then finally Baduila (541-552). So while Rome officially ends in the West with Romulus Augustus, the Ostrogoths fade out after 552 due to the climate changes. In the East, the change in climate appears to have also possibly been linked to the Plague of Justinian (541–542) which was a pandemic that afflicted the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) Empire, especially its capital Constantinople, the Sassanid Empire, and port cities around the entire Mediterranean Sea. I have written about the political turmoil there in Byzantium which preceeded the plague during the Nika Revolt of 532AD. I have also written about how empires die. It does seem that when temperatures decline, civil unrest rises and this increases the risk of revolutions.
When Thera erupted around 1645-1650BC, this created a climate change and marked the end of the Minoan civilization. They were conquered by the Mycenae who also captured Troy. As the weather turned cold, Greece goes into a Dark Age. The Greeks migrated and other places called them the “sea people” since they did not know where they came from as the invaded Northern Africa. Homer wrote about the period before the Dark Age known as the Heroic Period. Scholars thought this was fiction about Troy and Mycenae until Heinrich Schliemann (1822 – 1890) set out and discovered that what Homer wrote about was history.
The historical evidence is rather extensive. It does appear that as we enter into a global cooling period, governments will fall, disease will increase, and the risk of Western Civilization declining sharply all become historically possible.
