It’s time for Hillary to run again. Her 2016 bid ticked her off because everything was rigged in her favor and she still lost. It has stuck in her vindictive craw for nearly three years and she wants to get even.
I predicted she would run again in 2020, and big hints about her candidacy are being dropped nearly daily. Former Clinton advisor Dick Morris, who knows Hillary as well as anyone, says Hillary will run as long as she has a pulse. Her brain may be out of whack, but her ticker keeps on ticking, so she will wind herself up for another crack at the White House.
Another presidential run might also help shield her from prosecution. She’s a slippery arch-criminal.
The Clintons own the Democrat party. They are the template, so naturally the party is completely rigged and corrupt to the marrow. She knows she still has the backing of the Deep State and the lying corporate media. All she has to do is keep-buying people off. She will run again and try to rig things even more while spewing more mendacity and parading thinly veiled contempt for the American people. And I’m here with Vice President Mike Pence, NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine, and my daughter, Ivanka. We’re thrilled to be speaking live with two brave American astronauts who are making history.
Joining us during their spacewalk outside the International Space Station — and this is the first time for a woman outside of the Space Station — are Flight Engineers Christina Koch and Flight Engineer Jessica Meir.
And I just want to congratulate you. What you do is incredible. It’s so — you’re very brave people. I don’t think I want to do it, I must tell you that. But you are amazing people.
They’re conducting the first-ever female spacewalk to replace an exterior part of the Space Station. They’re doing some work, and they’re doing it in a very high altitude — an altitude that very few people will ever see.
Congratulations, Christina and Jessica, on this historic event. This is truly historic. And you’re right now on television all over the world, so don’t get nervous. (Laughter.)
I’d like to ask you a question: What would you like to tell everyone listening and watching today, especially young women —
DR. MEIR: (Inaudible.)
THE PRESIDENT: — who are interested in space?
ADMINISTRATOR BRIDENSTINE: There’s about a four- or five-second delay.
THE PRESIDENT: Ah, okay.
DR. MEIR: Hello. Thank you. First — first of all, we don’t want to take too much credit, because there have been many other female spacewalkers before us. This is just the first time that there have been two women outside at the same time.
And it’s really interesting for us. We’ve talked a lot about it up here. You know, for us, this is really just us doing our job. It’s something we’ve been training for, for six years, and preparing for. And so, it didn’t really, you know — for us, it’s just coming out here and doing our job today. And we were the — we were the crew that was tasked with this assignment.
At the same time, we recognize that it is a historic achievement, and we do, of course, want to give credit to all of those that came before us. There has been a long line of female scientists, explorers, engineers, and astronauts, and we have followed in their footsteps to get us where we are today.
We hope that we can provide an inspiration to everybody, not only (inaudible), but to everybody that has a dream and has a big dream and that is willing to work hard to make that dream come true — something that all of us that have made our way up here have done all throughout our lives. And I can tell you, the hard work certainly did pay off.
I’ve only been up here a few weeks, actually — about three weeks I’ve been in space — and this is my first flight and my very first spacewalk. So it is a pretty incredible feeling. I’m sure you can all imagine. And it’s one that I will never forget.
I’m extremely fortunate to be sharing this moment with Christina Koch, who’s not only my colleague, but also a very, very close and dear friend.
So it’s really our honor to be out here working today and to be representing whatever it is that’s significant to whatever — whatever individuals’ desires and hearts.

THE PRESIDENT: Well, Christina and Jessica, I would like to, if I could, just thank you. Jessica, I know that you’ve been doing this and you’ve been working hard. And, Christina, I’ve studied your résumé. It’s really incredible what you’ve done, what you’ve both done. Your lives have been incredible. And now you’re in a place that, as I said, very few people will ever get that experience. You’re doing an incredible job.
This is a first step — because we’re going to the Moon, and then we’re going to Mars. We’re launching from the Moon most likely. They seem to think that’s the best way of doing it, Jim. So we’re launching from the Moon.
And I just want to congratulate you both. You’re very brave, brilliant women, and you represent this country so well. And our country is very proud of you, and we are very proud of you. Millions and millions of people are watching you right now. But I will tell you: What you do is really something very special.
So, first the Moon, and then we go to Mars. Thank you both very much. Have a good time.

THE PRESIDENT: That was a great — that was a great — it’s a great thing. And when are they coming back? What’s the timing?
ADMINISTRATOR BRIDENSTINE: So each one is different. Christina Koch is actually going to be — have the longest single endurance mission. So she’s going to be on the Space Station for, I think, it’s a little — about 10 months, which the longest
THE PRESIDENT: Wow.
ADMINISTRATOR BRIDENSTINE: — we’ve ever had a woman on the Space Station ever.
THE PRESIDENT: What’s the longest for a man?
ADMINISTRATOR BRIDENSTINE: Three hundred and forty five days. So —
THE PRESIDENT: So why don’t you have the woman break the record?
ADMINISTRATOR BRIDENSTINE: Well, we have a very tight schedule when it comes to windows to get back and forth to the International Space Station. But that’s within the realm of what is possible. We’re working on schedules, sir.
MS. TRUMP: And next, a woman on the Moon, right?
ADMINISTRATOR BRIDENSTINE: That’s right. The — by direction of the President, we will have the first man — or, I should say, the first woman and next man on the south pole of the Moon will be Americans. (Applause.)
THE PRESIDENT: And what’s your timing on that?
THE PRESIDENT: Well, we better not say it too fast. Get it done before you talk about it. (Laughter.)
ADMINISTRATOR BRIDENSTINE: Okay. Yes, sir.
THE PRESIDENT: Okay. Go ahead.
ADMINISTRATOR BRIDENSTINE: The goal is 2024, sir. We’re at — if all things go according to plan, 2024 is within the realm of what is possible. And we’re working hard to make that a reality.
THE PRESIDENT: And because of the fact that we’ve been there, as I have said to you many times — we’ve been there, a long time ago — it’s really being done as a launch for Mars. Is that correct?
ADMINISTRATOR BRIDENSTINE: That’s right. We’re building a habitat in orbit around the Moon — a space station, in orbit around the Moon. And that will be launching in 2022.
And once that is deployed, that will be modified into a Mars ship that will take us all the way to Mars. And between now and then, we want to build a sustainable architecture at the Moon. We need to learn how to live and work on another world for long periods of time. And then, we go to Mars. Because when you go to Mars — Earth and Mars, we’re only aligned on the same side of the Sun once every 24 months — or 26 months. What that means is we have to be willing to stay.
THE PRESIDENT: Right.
ADMINISTRATOR BRIDENSTINE: We need to learn how to live and work on another world.
THE PRESIDENT: Oh, I see. Yeah. Right.
ADMINISTRATOR BRIDENSTINE: So that’s what the Moon is all about.
THE PRESIDENT: That’s going to be very interesting. Well, it’s very exciting. Exciting times. And that whole program was dead when I took it over, when we came into office. And something that Mike liked very much and I liked very much. And you’re both doing a fantastic job. And everybody is doing a fantastic job. It’s been totally reinvigorated, I think, to a level that it’s never been at.
And we’re also thinking in terms of defense. We have the Space Force happening. That’s going along very nicely, as you know. We’re creating a new force, and it’s called the “Space Force.” And that’s a big thing. And that’ll be working along very closely with you. So that’s beyond going to the Moon and Mars. That’s also defense of our nation, which is very important.
ADMINISTRATOR BRIDENSTINE: That’s right. Anywhere there’s commerce, it needs to be defended. And we are industrializing space. It’s going to be an export for the United States. And that’s going to be very positive. In fact, it already is. We need to grow it. And so we’re working very hard to commercialize it, make it an export. And, of course, that requires it to be defended just like the high seas for trade.
THE PRESIDENT: That’s fantastic. Thank you very much. Great job.
ADMINISTRATOR BRIDENSTINE: Thank you, sir.
THE PRESIDENT: Well, thank you very much, everybody. That was very exciting. And these are two great people. And they put themselves at risk for our nation and because they love doing it. And there are few people that have the ability to something like that, I will say that. It takes a great ability.

Q Mr. President, do you mind clarifying what Mick Mulvaney said yesterday? Was the aid —
THE PRESIDENT: I think he — I think he clarified it.
Q — to Ukraine contingent upon investigating the Democrats?
THE PRESIDENT: And I do have to say this: We, yesterday, had a tremendous day in Texas. We opened a Louis Vuitton plant. One of the great brands of the world. And they opened it right in the heart of Texas. Lone Star State. And then, we went over to Dallas and had an event like few people have ever seen. We had a packed arena with thousands and thousands of people outside. It was an incredible evening. Got back very, very late.
I did actually get to hear about Ambassador Kent. This is the witch hunt, you know. Their — their Crooked Schiff is coming after the Republican Party. He’s coming after the Republican Party as hard as he can, considering he’s really — he’s been compromised very sadly and badly because of the fact, as you know — I think, as the press knows — he made a statement and he made a virtual speech about what I said, and then it turned out that I didn’t say any of it because he fraudulently made this statement to Congress.
I thought what he did was one of the worst things. I understand he has immunity, but he doesn’t have immunity when he puts it on his Twitter, which he did. And he doesn’t have immunity when he speaks to press, which he did. And he certainly won’t have immunity if we ever get him into Congress and can swear him under oath. Because what he did was a very bad thing.
But what just happened is, Ambassador Kent — who I have never had the privilege, I don’t believe, of meeting; I don’t know him — and they brought him in as a witness against me, even though I don’t know him. And he excoriated, from what they reported on the news — and, of course, maybe, in this case, it won’t be fake news — but he excoriated the Obama administration and Joe Biden and Joe Biden’s son, saying that he has tremendous problems — tremendous problems with Joe Biden’s son and the Ukraine.
So he’s got tremendous problems with Biden’s son and Ukraine. And it’s inappropriate. And all of the horrible things — I mean, you could get it; you could see it. It’s been a big deal. And I heard Schiff is going, “No, no. We don’t want to talk about that. We don’t want to talk about that.” But he talked about it. And it’s one of those things. So, this is a terrible witch hunt. This is so bad for our country.
I just spoke to President Erdoğan of Turkey. We’re doing very, very well with Turkey. There’s a ceasefire, or a pause, or whatever you want to call it. There was some sniper fire this morning. There was mortar fire this morning that was eliminated quickly. And they’re back to the full pause.
We have ISIS totally under guard. Turkey is also guarding, separately. They’re watching over everything. So you have the Kurds, who we’re dealing with and are very happy about the way things are going, I must say. The Kurds. And you also have the Turks watching, just secondarily watching. So we have ISIS under control.
We’ve taken control of the oil in the Middle East, the oil that we’re talking about; the oil that everybody was worried about. We have — the U.S. has control of that. And there are no shots being fired. And a lot of people are doing a lot of things.
This is a deal that should have been made 15 years ago, 10 years ago, over the last number of years, under the Obama administration. The real number is over a million people were killed. We have lost no — not a drop of blood since we’ve started what I’ve started. And it was — so far, it’s working out.
Look, it’s a complicated region. Many, many people have gone down. I have to watch in great interest as I see people talking about what we should be doing. And these are the same people that have been failing for the last 20 years, didn’t know what they were doing, especially when they went in and did what they did. They shouldn’t have been there.
But we’re doing a very, very significant amount of great work. We’ll see if it works. It’s very fragile. It’s been fragile for years. They’ve been fighting each other for centuries. Literally, for centuries, they’ve been fighting each other. And years ago, we injected ourselves right into the middle of it. And we won’t go into whether or not that was a good thing or a bad thing. You know how I feel about it.
But we’ve had tremendous success, I think, over the last couple of days. A little bit unconventional, a little bit of hard love. I told you that. A little — there was a lot — a lot of pain for a couple of days. And sometimes you have to go through some pain before you can get a good solution. But the Kurds are very happy about it. President Erdoğan and Turkey is satisfied with it. And we are in a very strong position.
We are also in a position where we can put tremendous, powerful sanctions on Turkey or whoever else we want to. Our country is a financially much stronger country than when I took it over. China would have been, right now, the strongest economy in the world, the number-one economy in the world. And right now, China is way behind us. We picked up trillions of dollars in value, in worth. And they’ve lost trillions and trillions of dollars. And they’re having the worst year they’ve had in 57 years.
With that being said, we’re working with China very well. We’ve done, subject to getting it signed — and I think it will get signed quite easily, hopefully by the summit in Chile, where President Xi and I will both be.
But a lot of good things are happening. Our farmers are taken care of. Our bankers and financial services are going to have access, the likes of which they’ve never had to — the largest or second largest, depending on your definitions. About 1.4 billion people, population, whether it’s India or China. They’re pretty close. And we’ve done some great things.
So, we had — but, I just want to say, I want to thank the people of Dallas and the people of Fort Worth and the people of Texas, because yesterday was incredible.
I want to thank Bernard Arnault, one of the great businessmen of the world, for agreeing to do something that was a first. He’s built this incredible plant right in our great state of Texas. And they’re going to make super luxury and super product. They have already started. It’s opened. A big investment. And we’re very proud of it.
That was done with me and with the election with — even prior to the election, I said, “You have to open up a plant someplace in the United States.” He said, “What do you think about Texas?” I said, “I love Texas. That would be good.” And I said, “If you do it, I’ll be there.” And so I fulfilled that commitment. But he opened up a beautiful plant. We think over 1,000 people will soon be working there.

Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe has released part-1 of an insider video series highlighting daily instructions from CNN President Jeff Zucker to his organization.
Perhaps the most disturbing aspect to this insider report is the 9:00am daily instructions from the president of a news organization telling his executives which aspects of the political effort to disparage President Trump should be their focus.
President Trump rallied last night in Louisiana to support a challenge to incumbent Democrat Governor John Bel Edwards. The goal is to hold JBE under 50% and force a run-off against a republican challenger.
The national Democrats have made this race a referendum on the Trump impeachment agenda, saying if JBE can win in Louisiana then it proves Trump is weak enough to be impeached.
Mr. Edwards has tried not to make this a national referendum.
If President Trump and the Republican challengers, U.S. Representative Ralph Abraham and businessman Eddie Rispone, can hold Edwards to less than 50%, then one of them will challenge Governor Edwards in a state-wide runoff for the governor position.
UPDATE: Mission Accomplished. John Bel Edwards has been held under 50% and will face Republican businessman “Eddie” Rispone in a run-off to decide the governors race.
Here’s the results so far. With 82% of precincts reporting JBE is at 46%
JBE is currently at 45%. Well under the votes he needs to avoid a runoff.
FISA Court judges Rosemary Collyer (declassified 2017) and James Boasberg (declassified 2019) both identified issues with the NSA database being exploited for unauthorized reasons. We have a large amount of supplemental research to see through most of Collyer’s report and we are now starting the same process for Boasberg. However, an alarming possibility makes it important to outline a rough draft of what appears present.
Initially when Collyer’s report was declassified in April 2017 we were able to start assembling additional circumstantial and direct evidence. Two years of releases allowed us to see a more detailed picture.
Additional documents, direct testimony from NSA Director Mike Rogers, and later connected material from court filings, classified releases and ODNI statements made the understanding much clearer. What became visible was a process of using the NSA database for political surveillance. [SEE HERE]
With the Boasberg report we do not yet have enough supportive material to identify specific purposes. However, directly from the report itself there is a lot of information that shows a continuum of database activity that did not stop after Collyer’s warnings, and the NSA promises. It seems, the political exploitation continues; and with that in mind some recent events are much more troubling.
Boasberg notes the “about” query option that NSA Director Mike Rogers halted, technically didn’t stop. Instead operators used the “to and from” option almost identically as the “about” queries for downstream data review and extraction. The FISA Appellate Court appointed amici curiae to review Boasberg’s opinion and reconcile counter claims by the FBI. Boasberg was never satisfied despite the FISC-R amicus assurances. His opinion reflects valid judicial cynicism within his reluctant re-authorization.
One of the weird aspects to both Collyer and Boasberg is that both FISC judges did not ever seek to ask the “why” question: why are all these unauthorized database searches taking place? Instead, both judges focus on process issues and technical procedural questions, seemingly from a position that all unauthorized searches were done without malicious intent.
Accepting that neither judge had the purpose of benefit to overlay any other information upon their FISA review, their lack of curiosity is not necessarily a flaw but rather a feature of a very compartmentalized problem.
Boasberg and Collyer are only looking at one set of data-points all centered around FISA(702) search queries. Additionally, the scale of overall annual database searches outlined by Boasberg extends well over three million queries by the FBI and thousands of anonymous users; and the oversight only covers a sub-set of around ten percent.
As a result of the number of users with database access; and as Boasberg notes in his declassified opinion there is no consistent application of audit-trails or audit-logs; and worse yet, users don’t have to explain “why”, so there’s no FISC digging into “why”; the process is a bureaucratic FUBAR from a compliance standpoint; perhaps that’s by design.
All of that said, and accepting the FISC review is not engaged in the ‘why’, here’s the part where seemingly disparate dots start to connect and things are concerning.
REMINDER from the Mueller Report:
My strong hunch is that behind this process we will find the reason why the ‘Steele Dossier” was so relevant to Mueller. You see, investigating the dossier made the 2017 Mueller investigation an extension of a 2016 counterintelligence investigation and not a criminal investigation (later, those were spun off).
By maintaining the counterintelligence process for Mueller, the FBI was able to continue exploiting the NSA database as a FISA(702) tool for their investigation. The foreign actors played a key role in this process. So long as the Mueller investigation was targeting foreign actors they could collect downstream evidence on the “702” (American persons) returns.
In essence, the “small group” was stretching the NSA database rules to conduct electronic warrantless searches and massive electronic surveillance on targets direct (“to/from”) and indirect (downstream).
The violations that Boasberg is identifying (March 2017 through March 2018) must also include FISA database searches conducted by Mueller’s FBI team. It is all within the same system of electronic surveillance. The pattern, frequency and specifics of the Boasberg report are identical to the 2017 Rosemary Collyer report. Same violations. Same processes.
Against what we see more visible every day; and thinking about how corrupt we already know the Mueller investigation to be; now consider that without going to federal courts to gain legal authority, warrants, taps etc…. using the database Mueller’s team could continue to exploit the FISA(702) process.
They could gather material for their criminal cases through the NSA database and then transfer those results to their spun off prosecutions.
That’s why the Steele Dossier was so important. The Dossier formed the basis to continue making the Mueller investigation a counterintelligence operation, Title-I. Without the Dossier creating the foreign construct, Mueller’s team would have had to follow Title-III.
There is a better than strong possibility the Mueller team monitored all of their targets, extracted the evidence they needed, transferred it to prosecutors and proceeded to construct cases. They didn’t need to do too much actual investigation because: (a) they knew the Russian-collusion/conspiracy was false; and (2) they could just access the NSA database and pull all the material they needed.
My hunch is that’s why the DNI, Dan Coats, sat on this Boasberg ruling for a year. Boasberg presented this opinion in October 2018, it wasn’t released until October 2019. That could also be a motive why Dan Coats left right before Boasberg’s opinion was released. Perhaps IC interests did not want anyone putting 2+2 together if this judicial review was released during the ongoing Mueller probe.
Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein authorized Mueller to investigate the Steele Dossier in the second scope memo. If these suspicions are accurate, the reason Mueller wanted the dossier included would be to maintain Mueller’s investigation as a counterintelligence operation. [An extension of Crossfire Hurricane] As a result, all previous FBI exploits using FISA(702) database searches would be authorized.
To get the Dossier moved from “political opposition research” into valid “investigative evidence” the FBI needed to find a way to get it into the investigation…. Hence, Carter Page and the FISA warrant became the unwitting target and vehicle to carry it.
That explanation also reconciles why Rosenstein signed-off on the 3rd renewal of the Carter Page FISA. Rosenstein authorized a counterintelligence operation (2nd scope) and simultaneously re-authorized the cover story, the Carter Page FISA renewal.
The ramifications here are actually bigger than the original FISA database abuse. It means the Mueller group had secret ongoing background surveillance on all of their targets; and they did not need court authority (Title-III warrants) to get evidence. Maybe, just maybe, this is part of the reason why John Durham has expanded the time-frame for his review.

One of the significant changes between the Collyer report (covering 2016) and the Boasberg report (covering 2017) was an institutional inability to track who was doing the actual database searches. Some internal process was modified to create IC anonymity.
Well, against the backdrop of Ambassador Yovanovitch in 2017 and 2018 “monitoring” American persons in/around her Ukraine interests; and considering all of these database search queries identified by Boasberg in 2017 and 2018 “incidentally” captured Americans; perhaps this explains how the Yovanovitch “monitoring” was taking place.

We know what the FBI and “contractors” were doing in 2016; and given how invested the intelligence community is within the current stop-trump operations (writ large); and given the political stakes for the intelligence community, well, would there be a reason they would just stop electronic surveillance in January 2017 when President Trump was inaugurated?
I suspect this NSA database is being continually data-mined by ongoing institutional operatives and contractors who are working against the Trump administration. I suspect the surveillance of their political opposition is ongoing….

Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) employee Henry Kyle Frese was arrested yesterday and charged with leaking multiple classified intelligence reports to media. (Full pdf below).
According to the indictment Mr. Frese was caught leaking classified intelligence information to two journalists, one of which he was romantically involved.
Mr. Kyle Frese has a twitter account HERE. Cross-referencing information from within the indictment, research by Matthew Keys has indicated journalist #1 is Courtney Kube from NBC, and journalist #2 is Amanda Macias from CNBC. The intelligence leaked by Mr. Frese to Ms. Macias likely revolves around North Korean defense systems. [DOJ Announcement Here]
WASHINGTON – A U.S. counterterrorism analyst was arrested at the Defense Intelligence Agency where he worked on charges related to alleged leaks of information to two journalists, the Justice Department said.
Henry Kyle Frese, 30 years old, accessed classified intelligence reports about a foreign country’s weapons systems last year and provided them to two unidentified journalists, according to newly unsealed court documents.
The journalists aren’t named in the indictment, but they are identifiable as Amanda Macias, a national security reporter for CNBC, and Courtney Kube, a national security reporter for NBC. Public tweets cited in the court filings correspond to tweets sent by Ms. Macias and Ms. Kube in July of last year.
Both journalists and NBC and CNBC didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.
In a statement, the Justice Department said Mr. Frese “was caught red-handed disclosing sensitive national security information.” (link)

ANSWER: The policy of a bailout will be carried out by the central bank. Those members of the EU who are NOT in the Eurozone will fair much better than the Eurozone banks. This is one reason countries should NOT join the euro at this time.
However, there will be risks for non-Eurozone banks deeply involved in derivatives. They will probably have exposure that can lead to losses emerging from the Eurozone which is rejecting a bailout policy. This could lead to a global contagion that will result in a major political backlash against the EU.
The Federalist was able to gain a copy of the opening statement delivered to congress by Ambassador Kurt Volker. The statements made by Volker support the outline put forth by Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani surrounding the initial contact and purposes.
The statement by Volker directly undercuts the narrative spun by HPSCI Chairman Adam Schiff and his attempt to create an impeachment narrative. Here’s the statement:

The government of Ukraine under both Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, and now President Volodymyr Zelensky, had been trying to deliver information about Obama officials and Democrat party officials (DNC on behalf of Hillary Clinton) requesting the government of Ukraine to interfere in the 2016 election.
Both Poroshenko and Zelensky administrations had tried, unsuccessfully, to get information to current U.S. officials. U.S. State Department officials in Ukraine were refusing to give visa’s to Ukrainian emissaries because they did not want the damaging information sent to the President Trump administration.
Failing to get help from the U.S. State Department, the Ukranians tried a workaround, and hired a respected U.S. lawyer to hand deliver the documentary evidence directly to the U.S. Department of Justice. The contracted American lawyer hand-delivered the information to the U.S. Department of Justice in New York.
However, after delivering the information and not hearing back from the U.S. government, the Ukrainian government, now led by President Zelensky, interpreted the silence as the Trump administration and U.S. government (writ large) being upset about the Ukraine involvement overall.
Out of concern for a serious diplomatic breakdown, the Zelensky administration made a personal request to the U.S. State Department, Ambassador Volker, for assistance.
The U.S. State Department, via Ambassador Kurt Volker, then reached out to Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani; and asked him if he would meet with Zelensky’s top lawyer, Andrei Yermak.
Rudy Giuliani agreed to act as a diplomatic intermediary and met with Yermak in Spain. After the meeting, Mr. Giuliani then contacted the State Department Officials in charge of Ukraine and Europe and debriefed them on the totality of the subject matter as relayed by Andrei Yermak.
All of this activity preceded the phone call between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

MAGAnomics – Lowest Unemployment in 50 Years !
The Bureau of Labor Statistics releases the September jobs report. 136,000 jobs were added to the economy and the unemployment rate falls to 3.5%, the lowest since 1969.
Demand for workers remains strong (Table A-1). Overall employment is very stable across all sectors (Table B-1) and wage growth is strong (+2.9%). Additionally, inflation is low; that means more disposable income. The Main Street economy is strong.
♦Over the month, the number of unemployed persons decreased by 275,000 to 5.8 million. ♦Among the unemployed, the number of job losers and persons who completed temporary jobs declined by 304,000 to 2.6 million in September. ♦Also, the number of persons unemployed for less than 5 weeks fell by 339,000. ♦The labor force participation rate held at 63.2 percent in September.
The change in total nonfarm payroll employment for July was revised up by 7,000 from +159,000 to +166,000, and the change for August was revised up by 38,000 from +130,000 to +168,000. With these revisions, employment gains in July and August combined were 45,000 more than previously reported. (BLS Report)
