California’s Energy Surplus

Californians pay a fixed rate for their energy grid, but the state has been harvesting a surplus to the point that operators are forced to offload the energy to neighboring states that purchase it at a discount or even receive it free of cost. Governor Gavin Newsom praised California for advancing its energy storage by 1,250% since he took office, but it is not enough to attain current levels of energy and certainly not enough to reach the goal of going 100% renewable by 2045.

The Los Angeles Times found that Californians are now paying up to three times the national average for energy. The infrastructure simply is not in place to store or carry the amount of solar power generating, leading millions of dollars in energy waste. Southern California Edison and PG&E customers have experienced a 51% increase in costs over the last three years alone.

Still, the state is attempting to build MORE solar panels to reach its goal for 2045. Solar producers and grip operators are at odds. Solar farms have slowed energy production by 3 million megawatt hours in the last year, enough to power over half a million homes in California. The United State Energy Information Administration claims that power lines in many cases lack the capacity to deliver energy, and in other cases, the energy generated exceeds demand.

New Mexico, Oregon, Arizona, and Washington have all benefitted from California’s oversupply with cheap or free energy. California has the highest debt of any state in the nation. It cannot afford to lose money on this initiative. The state is ignoring the short-term while focusing on the lofty goal of achieving 100% renewable energy in the next 20 years. They sell renewables as a way to save but this is simply not the case for California residents who are paying more for a basic necessity.

The United Kingdom’s Climate Change Committee (CCC) is rapidly moving to eliminate useless carbon from the environment by targeting citizens. The agency said that achieving Net Zero will require “behavioral changes” from the people that include curtailing every aspect of life from diet to transportation. But don’t worry, the agency claims the “people seem willing to accept there must be some degree of constraint.”

“In terms of the analysis we’ve done, about 10 percent of emissions reduction to 2035 comes from what we would think of as behaviour change. That’s predominantly around diets, flying and modal shifting [to] public transport,” CCC Director James Richardson said. Richardson said half of the necessary behavioral changes will surround diets as people will forced to consume less meat and find alternative protein sources.

The CCC would like to implement harsh fines on the automotive industry. Richardson compared the switch away from fuel engines as a simple matter of creative destruction. “We know from previous transitions between technologies that incumbent firms can get left behind – we all remember Blockbuster Video or Kodak. When these new technologies come in, it can be easy for incumbents to think they have more time to change than they do,” he stated. Well, we didn’t need to redo the entire infrastructure of the nation to do away with DVDs. There was a benefit to the consumer and private sector in adopting those new technologies. The private sector has shown an unwillingness to switch to EVs, for example, as has the consumer.

Food Shortage

Starmer lied at the COP29 summit when he claimed his government would not be “telling people how to live their lives’ by reducing air travel or changing their diets.” Other Build Back Better nations also adhering to the Great Reset are slowly forcing their populations to make changes through taxation on carbon-producing items like cattle or aviation. Yet, how will governments FORCE the people to change their diets and transportation methods? These agencies are overly optimistic for believing the masses will blindly comply with their baseless orders.

The CCC believes that Brits must reduce meat and dairy consumption by an astounding 50% by 2050. “Setting a target is not enough. The UK must back up its international commitments through actions here at home,” the CCC has explained. The agency has already made advancements in reducing the sheep and cattle population. CCC chairman Piers Forster. Forster has suggested imposing high taxes on meat and dairy products to make them less attainable for the average person. The governments will fill their coffers with taxes and the elite will not need to make such “behaviour changes” as these initiatives are meant to benefit the few while punishing the masses.

Insects Eat

Biden killed the Keystone XL Pipeline, as an example, under the premise of climate preservation and look what happened. All the measures taken to reduce fossil fuels have caused costs to skyrocket, but what happens when these measures transfer to the food supply? These nations are hampering their own ability to produce food by destroying cattle and farmland. They’re ensuring costs rise due to taxation. Importing goods has come at an increased cost due to increased demand and higher energy costs. These agencies have no alternative in place aside from lab-grown meat and insects. Is that a change we are willing to make for the benefit of none?

Former CDC Director Claims COVID Originated in the USA

Former CDC director Robert Redfield, an outspoken critic of Antony Fauci, believes COVID-19 had sinister origins. We know the NIH was funding gain-of-function research under Fauci at a lab in Wuhan, China. However, Redfield believes the virus leaked from a domestic lab located at the University of North Carolina.

Redfield believes Dr. Ralph Baric was the mastermind behind the creation of the virus. Baric was among the first to alert government officials that SARS-CoV-2 was rapidly spreading. In January 2020, Baric told the government “had three months” before they would be faced with a deadly pandemic. He has spent his life studying coronaviruses, studying animal models to rest the efficacy of new treatments. Baric helped to develop remdesivir months before March 2020, and the FDA authorized its usage in May of that year.

The Biden Administration funded a study that claimed the origins of COVID-19 were not manmade. The virus somehow passed from human to animal and no individual or institution was responsible. As they told us from the beginning, Chinese peasants in Wuhan contracted the virus from consuming diseased bat meat. But skepticism remained. Then the narrative changed that there may have been an unintentional leak from the Wuhan lab and reports emerged that workers in the lab fell ill with the virus as early as 2019.

Theories about Baric’s role in creating the virus have been circulating for years. Senator Rand Paul has been adamant in finding those responsible for the “lab leak” and he questioned Baric’s role in front of US Congress. “For years, Dr. Ralph Baric, a virologist in the U.S., has been collaborating with Dr. Shi Zhengli of the Wuhan Virology Institute, sharing his discoveries about how to create super-viruses,” Paul said on May 11, 2021. “This gain-of-function research has been funded by the NIH [National Institutes of Health].”

Baric himself did not deny the possibility of a lab leak, however, he insisted it originated in China where they have fewer restrictions on studying live viruses. Yet, he does not deny studying mRNA vaccines on mice at his lab in North Carolina and working closely with the Wuhan lab that he so frequently criticizes.

Redfield has consistently said that the COVID-19 virus was engineered. ‘I think he [Dr. Baric] probably helped create some of the original viral lines, but I can’t prove that. But he was very involved,” the former director said. Although he would not go as far as to say that the US framed China for leaking the virus, he said its original purpose was to be developed as a biodefense program and the US played a “substantial” role in its creation.

Under the incoming Trump Administration, Senator Paul and Robert F. Kennedy will certainly hold the NIH, USAID and the Department of Defense responsible for the pandemic. The world deserves to finally learn the truth behind the origins of the global pandemic that changed the course of history.

Why Bitcoin Will NOT Replace the Dollar

People continue to ask if Bitcoin will replace the dollar. They believe that the recent surge in Bitcoin indicates that it will topple the USD as the world’s reserve currency, but that is merely propaganda. You must understand that Bitcoin is simply a trading vehicle, not a currency. I cannot stress that point enough. My opinion has been unpopular, and clients have walked away due to my stance on crypto. That’s fine, as I am not in this for the money. I can only adequately inform my clients of the unbiased truth and hope that those willing to listen will heed the computer’s warnings.

To begin with, there is much speculation about the founder(s) — Satoshi Nakamoto – who created Bitcoin (BTC) on June 3, 2009. The mystery person or group (or government agency) has been MIA since 2011. Yet 1 million Bitcoins remain in their original account, untouched. His wallet is estimated to be worth over $81 billion at the time of this writing, and if this is indeed an individual, he or she is one of the top 15 richest people in the world. They have never moved a fraction of a BTC from their account. So, one wallet contains 5% of all mined bitcoin. Will this person or entity perpetually hold?

They expect us to believe some mysterious Japanese man created the blockchain technology and simply evaded all world governments. They claim Bitcoin is an anti-government vehicle, but it is a bureaucrat’s dream because it allows them to track where funds are coming from and going. In 1996, the US government released a white paper entitled, “How to make a mint: the cryptography of anonymous electronic cash.” Released by the National Security Agency Office of Information Security Research and Technology, this document explains how a government agency could create something like Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency. They had been attempting to create one for years and then magically Bitcoin came on the scene.

Bitcoin’s price is akin to the problem that existed when the bubble burst in 1966 with mutual funds because they were listed back then. The value can change at a volatility rate of 10x that of the dollar, making it a highly dangerous instrument as a store of wealth. It is solely a trading vehicle until they weigh it and the value is changed.

In 1966, investors bid the mutual funds up beyond net asset value, so during the crash, people lost everything when they thought it was a secure investment. The net underlying assets may have dropped 20%, but they paid 20% over the net asset value and then sold at 50% of the net asset value. Many mutual funds crashed 70-90%, whereas the Dow drop was 26.5%. Ever since mutual funds have no longer been allowed to be listed. You go in and out at net asset value. Bitcoin must change its structure, or it will never become a valid currency with a stable store of value, which is supposed to be the whole point. It is just an asset class of high volatility.

I have not been bullish on digital currency, as it’s a trading vehicle no different than any other commodity or stock. Sure, a profit could be made, and many have had great success. We do include Bitcoin in our models, and those subscribed to Socrates will see that our arrays are picking up on Bitcoin next year.

Bitcoin is a trading vehicle that is no different from wheat or cattle. It is NOT a store of wealth, as it fluctuates like everything else. It rises and falls no different than any other trading instrument. It is not a “store” of value maintaining some constant value to park your money. We need to get realistic here. The concept of Bitcoin replacing the dollar fails to comprehend what makes something the world’s reserve currency. I will write a piece explaining that aspect since it is crucial to understand.
