The Injustice of the Justice System

Perhaps there has never been this sort of in-your-face abuse of power than what is going in in the justice system. Roger Stone is awaiting a 40-month prison sentence while Andrew McCabe enjoys life as a high-profile CNN commentator. Both made false statements, yet one is to go to prison and the other is untouchable. It does not stop there.

The whistleblower who created the Trump impeachment is so protected, and no one is allowed to even know his name. However, we have Julian Assange and Edward Snowden who they seek to imprison for life. There is something very wrong with the justice system. It has become a toy for political persecutions.

HOW TO REFORM THE LEGAL SYSTEM

I urge people to forward this to every politician you can and CC the White House. The justice system is out of control and ONLY the RICH can even afford to defend themselves. Congress can literally pass a law that you must kill your firstborn. They can do whatever they like. We have no right to even argue against such a law. The only person who would have such an opportunity must have what is called STANDING. That is created by the attempt of the government to ENFORCE the law. So in other words, if they prosecute your neighbor for refusing to kill their firstborn, you cannot go to court unless they prosecute you for the very same crime.

This is seriously a denial of Equal Protection of the Law. It allows for political and selective prosecution. They can put Stone in prison for life but they have the discretion not to prosecute McCabe. That is a gross injustice and it allows for political prosecutions as if we lived under Stalin.

The only way to solve this crisis is to REMOVE the discretion of prosecutors to indict people. They should submit their case to a committee in Washington that must approve every indictment. If this is done, then we can at least restore some justice to the system.

HOW TO REFORM THE SUPREME COURT

We then have the problem that Congress could pass a law that says you must kill your firstborn. They only way to challenge such a law is to defend against their attempt to prosecute you for violating that law. The Supreme Court should be expanded with another layer of Justices below who should rule on every law passed by Congress BEFORE it is enforced. In this manner, the poor are protected whereas only the rich can afford the tremendous cost to go all the way to the Supreme Court.

America needs a New Declaration of Equal Justice under the LawIn prior times of war, crisis, suffering and loss of life from causes outside the U.S., Americans of both parties would pull together and focus on what can be done to quickly help, alleviate and solve the problem.  No longer.  The COVID-19 crisis provides us a window into our national social and spiritual health, and what we see from much of America’s Left as expressed in the media and Democrat Party reveals a degree and strain of moral impoverishment we haven’t seen before.
The COVID-19 crisis in America will pass as all such virus epidemics do, but an overriding issue and question that will remain for the American future is: do we have sufficient courage and determination to successfully deal with the real internal threats and contradictions that jeopardize the future viability of the United States and its Constitution?

What has been allowed to grow in the American cultural and political petri dish over the last two generations is a mixture whose contagious influence is as harmful as it is riddled with absurdities.  A partial list would include:

  • an unequal two-tiered justice system;
  • open borders;
  • preferential treatment of illegal aliens over American citizens;
  • the dominance of political correctness and its de facto censorship of free expression;
  • fake news;
  • rewriting history;
  • the 1619 project;
  • renaming Columbus Day;
  • the abolition of traditions of every size and shape;
  • destruction of American historical monuments;
  • the trampling the American flag and other symbols of democracy;
  • the eradication of family values while celebrating and elevating relationships counterproductive to procreation

An imperative for any civilization that wants to survive; election fraud and dismantlement of the electoral process; an attempted coup that would have nullified the Constitution and the peoples’ sovereignty; a baseless and wasteful impeachment; the disgraceful character assassination of nominees to the Supreme Court; the pervasive infiltration of education with academics hostile to America; the adoption safe spaces and the prohibition of trigger words on college campuses; union control and influence on public school educational curricula whose net effect dumbs down students and often paints America as the great villain.

Any one of these is no little thing.  But together, the collective influence of all these factors presents us with a reality that is disheartening and threatening.  How did this happen and what are patriotic Americans to do?

We find ourselves in this perilous and incendiary state in large part because we were asleep or preoccupied, while over the last generations, internal enemies of America were gnawing away at our institutions and public civility—following the playbook of Italian communist Antonio Gramsci, the father of the “long march through the institutions.” Gramsci called for a gradual radicalization of the knowledge industry and the cultural institutions—“the superstructure of our society”—so as to transform the values and morals of society. Gramsci believed that as society’s morals were softened and confused, its political and economic foundation would be more easily transformed.  The evidence surrounding the current state of affairs confirms the validity of Gramsci’s theories and suggests he was right.

But the story is not over. 

It’s time for a new approach to fighting back with a more powerful playbook—one that the founders used at a time of overwhelming discouragement when odds of success were extremely low.  That same playbook was again used by Abraham Lincoln, a president who presided over a very divided nation and who was reviled by many, similar to today’s conditions.

Washington’s colonial army war efforts were disastrous in the first year. The first version of the Declaration of Independence—signed by just John Hancock, president of the Continental Congress and its secretary Charles Thompson, was the only version in circulation for the first six months after July 4, 1776.  But after Washington’s successful surprise attacks on Trenton and Princeton, the Declaration was edited, reprinted and rereleased with all 56 signatories, vowing “a firm reliance on the Protection of Divine Providence,” and “mutually pledg[ing] to each other our Lives our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.” That declaration seems to have changed the fortune of the Continental Army and even determined the outcome of the War of Independence, even though the final Yorktown victory was still four years away.

Lincoln’s war efforts were largely unsuccessful in the first year and a half of the Civil War, and he struggled with the question of why, so far, the Almighty was permitting the bloodbath to continue with more favor being shown toward the South.  Through prayer, Lincoln had an epiphany of moral clarity.  He realized that it was not enough to win the war, put down secession and preserve the status quo of tolerance of slavery in the southern states, as he had stated in his First Inaugural address upon taking office.  He now realized the simple truth that if his objectives were aligned with God’s will and announced to all, that the Union would be blessed and prevail. And so it was that after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed into law on Jan. 1, 1863 that things on the ground began to change.

Whether we call it a Declaration or a Proclamation, a statement of moral clarity is needed to reestablish the foundation and fortress from which to fight and prevail. The Declaration of Independence focused on liberty.  The Emancipation Proclamation focused on equality.  Such a time as this would be well-served by a Declaration of Equal Justice under Law—the very words etched in stone on the front façade of the Supreme Court.

Our greatest advantage over the material secular progressive left is our connection with a higher power—a spiritual power.  Most of us take for granted and pay little heed to the words inscribed on all our currency—“In God we Trust.” A Declaration for Equal Justice under the Law would summon new help from the Divine and fundamentally change the future as it did in previous crisis times.  We should even ask and implore that such a Declaration lead to taking down America’s internal enemies and enable us to win the battles ahead for what is good and right.

German Treasury Secretary of Hesse Commits Suicide

It is with deep regret that the German Treasury Secretary of the federal state of Hesse, Thomas Schäfer, killed himself on March 28th, 2020. He oversaw Hesse‘s biggest city, Frankfurt, where we would hold our conferences and it remains the European capital for international banks. I know he was deeply concerned that this Coronavirus-Crisis was being used to destroy the economy. Thomas understood what was taking place and also understood he would not be able to deal with the absurd expectations of the general public about financial relief that was being pushed over a crisis that did not appear to warrant such a reaction.

Thomas was one of the good guys. My deepest condolences to his family. I understand his pessimism for what is to come post-Coronavirus. It is extremely difficult to watch something unfold and be unable to do anything to stop the momentum. Suicide becomes the option when it is just easier to leave than it is to stay.

Managing Money v Teaching You How to Survive

QUESTION: Marty, they have always called you the Legend. You have proved that you are probably the greatest trader that ever existed. You not only have choreographed when the correction would start, but you have held our hand through this entire decline. Again you said the market would decline into the 23 of March and that should be the temporary low. Nobody forecasts markets like you do and that is why everyone tries to ignore you while others hate you out of jealousy. Won’t you return to funds management? Please! We could really use you in these troubling times.

ANSWER: I greatly appreciate the fact that many people have been writing in to say thank you. I prefer working on Socrates. Only on the private blog do we provide forecasts to the day. We do not provide that on the open blog. If I just managed money, I would not have the time to write or program. I believe in the old saying, if you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.

My goal is to prove that markets are orderly and it is total nonsense that there is some random walk. That is an excuse for someone who is not a student of the markets and cannot see the order because they take no responsibility for their own losses. It is easier to always blame someone else.

Yes, they have called me the legend. I suppose that is better than the oracle given that strategy is just to buy and hold so you look like a hero in bull markets and take massive losses in every decline. Markets rise and markets fall. You NEVER marry the trade! That is the sure-fire way for a fool to be separated from his money.

The object here is to understand how markets function for if we grasp that revelation, then we can manage our economy and live WITH the cycle instead of always fighting against it. Academics try to reduce the market to theories yet they fail to understand human emotion. They will advocate lowering interest rates as if someone will borrow when they see no future. The absurdity of Keynesian Economics is beyond belief yet they have attempted to manage the world economy based upon a theory that has never worked even once. Even Pail Volcker admitted that in his book on Rediscovery of the Business Cycle.

I have stated many times that Karl Marx killed more people than any religious war and in fact, all wars put together. He was responsible for hundreds of millions of deaths. Yet the left keeps trying to force his theories upon society creating havoc, hatred, and class warfare. They violate even the very Ten Commandments which aside from religion, appears to have been a pearl of respected ancient wisdom we refuse to listen to. Why does the left keep trying to push Marxism upon society? They simply covet what other people have and want to punish others for being more successful.

We have shut down the entire world economy for less than 20,000 deaths worldwide? This is a joke. Either John Hopkins University has deliberately been part of a plot to further Marxism or they are outright ignorant of what they are doing. They have supported the destruction of human rights and liberty advocating you kill the patient to cure the disease. More people die in car crashes annually than this death toll no less the annual flu which kills hundreds of thousands of people. We do not surrender our rights and close the economy for such events. So why this virus?

The red dots of John Hopkins University are outright propaganda. They are not current. They do not disappear with the virus subsiding. Look at China. They are deliberately misleading and make it appear as if whole countries are infected supporting stay at home and marshal law. This is propaganda they have been promoting and we have governments declaring emergency powers to end democratic processes thanks to this misleading graphic which is historical rather than current and the dots may represent just one case, not the entire state.

We are fools for what is taking place. There are dark forces whipping this up into a panic for the sole purpose of creating authoritarian powers because they do understand my models and they are scared of losing power. We have Democrats holding parties calling this the Trump Virus. They are cheering the destruction of the economy just to get rid of Trump. Their hatred of him is deeply concerning for the veneer of civilization has been removed and we stand on the precipice of civil unrest and bloodshed all in the name of Marx. I recently asked a Democrat why do they hate Trump so much. They could not articulate a single act he has done. They simply said presidents shouldn’t Tweet.

Governments can see the Monetary Crisis Cycle coming to destroy their systems. This is the best way for them to fight back. I have warned my concern was what comes AFTER Trump. My deepest fear is the loss of all civil liberties and fools are cheering this on without understanding what they are wishing for.

I am concerned about the future for my posterity. They will NEVER know the world in which I grew up in.

There is a government now who wants to openly use our models to trade. They have one of the top 5 wealth funds in the world. I believe they will open it up to manage money using our models. But I have ZERO interest in returning to funds management. Other countries in Asia have openly admitted they are using “Capital Flow Analysis” which is our model at the central bank level.

Again, I greatly appreciate the trust and confidence. But I prefer to teach you how to fish for a lifetime rather than to feed you for just one day. This is a picture of my backyard. It is my sanctuary from the craziness of the world. I will feed the birds. They know where to get a free meal. That will last only when I am here – not forever. What we face is more serious. We have to learn that the world is not a toy for us to manipulate as they are doing right now to retain power. They will fail for the system they seek is just not sustainable. So I prefer to teach you how to see the world so you can survive rather than manage money like feeding the birds for a day.
