Secretary Alfred E Newman Outlines Federal Response to Gas Crisis – “We Understand The Concerns” About The Concerns That Need to Be Understood

Transportation Secretary Alfred E Newman took center stage today to outline the White House response to the gas crisis as people up and down the East coast are unable to find fuel.  We are so screwed with these professional political idiots, who have never held a real private sector job, in charge of U.S. policy.

Secretary Newman is skilled in the use of parseltongue: ‘We understand the concerns that need to be understood in order to evaluate the concerns that have been expressed.  Our understanding has led to a larger discussion about the concerns and we understand the need to coordinate with our partner agencies toward the common goal of understanding.  Now that we have the analysis to understand the greater concern, we are evaluating the fastest way to express the understanding of the analysis to a more broad network of partners.  As soon as that network understanding is in place, then we will have a better understanding for the American people about their concern‘.. or something.   Yes, these are the words of wisdom from the Secretary of Transportation.

Data Shows Massive Inflation Starting to Bite Middle-Class Hard, Unleaded Regular Gasoline Up 52 Percent, Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Rising Fast

Posted originally on the conservative tree house May 12, 2021 | Sundance | 206 Comments

As expected the high-turn consumable goods are starting to rise in price rapidly.  The Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS) has released the consumer price analysis from April (remember there’s a big lag) [Top Line Data Here – Detailed Sector Data Here]  The trend is rapid inflation continuing with no end in sight.  CORE inflation just jumped the most since 1982.

Overall prices are up 4.2 percent year-over-year, which is three times the rate of inflation under Joe Biden than under President Trump.  Inflation hurts the lower and middle economic class much harder; and the specific inflation sectors show massive increases on the goods and services that blue collar workers use most.

It is specifically the Biden economic policies that are to blame for the scale of these increased prices.  Inflation of this scale is an outcome of policy.

Biden is focused on helping multinationals and Wall Street; President Trump was focused on helping small businesses and Main Street.  We are now seeing the impact from these two differing economic priorities.

Regular unleaded gasoline is up a whooping 51.9 percent from last year [Table 7].  Higher gas prices directly hit the middle class the hardest and also increases the cost of transporting all goods.  Keep in mind this is a snapshot of prices approximately six weeks ago and gasoline prices have been rising even more rapidly recently.  Not good news.

The status of the economy, the employment picture and the stimulus money shows up in the cost of used vehicles rising over 22% last month and 21% compared to last year.  People are holding on to their vehicles and when able purchasing newer used vehicles, reflected in the lower inflation on new cars and trucks (2%).  Paycheck and wage security is becoming an issue again, especially with the cost of gasoline and food.

The inflation data in the food at home (grocery prices) doesn’t look too dramatic until you drill down into the faster turn fresh fruits and vegetables.  Citrus products up 7.8% (lemons, limes and oranges are very expensive) with fresh fruits overall increasing by 6.2%.  The less perishable food products, longer shelf life items, reflect slower inflation due to warehouse and shelf inventory (a natural lag).  However, the fresh fruits and vegetables carry the immediate price of higher energy and transportation costs.  Lettuce up 5.1% year over year. [TABLE 7 has the details]

The rapid increases in price for food and gasoline are hitting the middle-class hard.  This will have a downstream effect on more luxury items and durable goods.  Spend more on food/gas and you might not be able to purchase that new table you wanted.  Durable good inventories increase and layoffs in those sectors begin.

It will be very interesting to watch how the housing market responds over the next few months.  If the trendline continues we should see a considerable softening in home sales, again depending on region, as the inflation hits the working class – and the FED might respond by raising interest rates.

PRESIDENT TRUMP – “If there were long and horrible gas lines like this under President Trump, the Fake News would make it a national outrage! Did Joe Biden put Hunter in charge of our energy, with all of his Burisma experience? Even Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm is lost!” (LINK)

Local Portland Media Finally Turn The Spotlight on Their Collapsed, Decaying Progressive Failure

The socialist bubble that people know as Portland, Oregon, has collapsed into a lawless and chaotic society devoid of order and social compact.  Anarchy runs the streets as Antifa and violent left-wing groups have been allowed to destroy the city without any consequence.

Portland politicians have enabled the collapse of the social order, and the Animal Farm lawlessness has forced businesses and citizens to escape in order to survive.  Now the local media are starting to ask the bigger questions, yet they continue to ignore the obvious answers.  The city is a violent crisis and complete mess because the city leadership allows the violent crisis and mess to exist. Yes, it really is that simple.

Antrim County Audit Attorney Finds Audit Trail Logs Intentionally Scrubbed to Eliminate Evidence of Fraudulent Electronic Manipulation of Election Outcome

A very interesting article and interview appears today that warrants everyone’s attention.  In Michigan the lawsuit against Antrim County election officials continues.  The lead attorney Matthew DePerno continues putting the evidence into the public and court record.

What the evidence shows is an intentional manipulation of the ballot counting systems that shifted votes from Trump to Biden, then the system was scrubbed of log-in details so the people who did the shifts would not be identified.

JD Rucker – “DePerno claims they found MySQL database management software on the tabulation machines in Antrim County. This is significant for a couple of reasons. First, it’s not supposed to be there, which means someone intentionally put it there. Second, it can be used to manipulate the database and make changes to results.”

“It is not a certified program on that system,” he said. “And you can use that system to manipulate the votes. You can use that system to go right into the Election Management System database and do whatever you want.”  What DePerno revealed in less than three minutes of this 46-minute interview should be enough to prompt a full-blown investigation, let alone a comprehensive audit. The dots simply connect too perfectly to be coincidence.”

Best Move So Far in BIG UGLY, Liz Cheney Removed From GOP Leadership – Vows to “Do Everything She Can To Ensure Former President Trump Never Gets Near The Oval Office”

Former Conference Chairwoman Liz Cheney runs immediately to the microphones after being kicked out of the GOP House leadership position.  In a bitter statement the deep state DeceptiCon operative vows to do “everything I can to ensure [President Trump] never gets near the oval office.”

The next task is for Wyoming voters to primary Liz Cheney even more deeply into the land of total irrelevance and crush her in the 2022 election.

There was always going to be a need for a fracturing of the GOP to eliminate this entrenched DeceptiCon class of professional politicians.  That is the essence of what we have called “The Big Ugly” on this website.  The reason this place is named “the last refuge” is an outcome of our association calling for this type of action more than ten years ago.

We are blessed and fortunate that Donald J Trump came to the forefront and awakened the majority of GOP voters to the deception within the party.  It will take a long time to cut out this cancerous wing of the UniParty bird, but it must be done…. precinct by precinct, district by district, state by state, election by election, these professional DeceptiCon politicians must be removed.  The removal effort must be unrelenting and unforgiving.

Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Dan Crenshaw, Mitch McConnell, Lisa Murkowski, Mitt Romney, and every other member of the DeceptiCon caucus must be removed. We must then ensure that no-one like Nikki Haley comes back into the world of politics.  All must be cast into their true ‘America Last’ tribe with Democrats.

President Trump responds below:

PRESIDENT TRUMP – “Liz Cheney is a bitter, horrible human being. I watched her yesterday and realized how bad she is for the Republican Party. She has no personality or anything good having to do with politics or our Country. She is a talking point for Democrats, whether that means the Border, the gas lines, inflation, or destroying our economy. She is a warmonger whose family stupidly pushed us into the never-ending Middle East Disaster, draining our wealth and depleting our Great Military, the worst decision in our Country’s history. I look forward to soon watching her as a Paid Contributor on CNN or MSDNC!

In Japan there have been More Suicides than Deaths from COVID

Armstrong Economics Blog/Disease Re-Posted May 11, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

More people have died from suicide in Japan than COVID. While Fauci says he is only concerned about health and not human rights, he ignores all the suicides that are taking place around the world, from people losing everything to teenagers who see their future wiped out. This is the problem. We live in a Republic which is easily bribed and always falls into an Oligarchy.

Unfortunately, the press will not defend human rights and support Gates and Fauci, who have no respect for people, and instead they look down upon us as the stupid sheep. Japan should criminally charge Fauci and Gates, and watch how the USA will refuse to extradite them violating international law.

May 8th Began Civil Unrest In Jerusalem

Armstrong Economics Blog/Civil Unrest Re-Posted May 11, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

Civil Unrest began in Jerusalem and has escalated to even flames on the Temple Mount. This has a lot of people particularly concerned especially when the Biden Administration was more friendly with Iran thanks to John Kerry.

On May 8th Soldiers Send Second Letter Threatening Macron

Armstrong Economics Blog/France Re-Posted May 10, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

The reports are pouring in from around the world about May 8th. In France, another group of serving French soldiers has published a new open letter warning President Macron that the “survival” of France is at stake after he made “concessions” to Islamism. The letter was posted on the Valeurs Actuelles website late on Sunday, May 9th for everyone to see. It expresses a similar warning previously published last month. There are those in the French military warning that the nation could fall into civil war.

This is the problem. When the economy turns down, that is when conflict arises. These European leaders are absolutely foolish to think they can use this virus to justify crushing their economies so they can all build back better. Of course, Macron’s government called it a lack of courage and they are unbelievably ignorant of history.

May 8th & New UK Legislation This Week – Build Back Better

Armstrong Economics Blog/Europe’s Economic History Re-Posted May 10, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

COMMENT: Marty; Here in Britain May 8th will prove to be important. This is the week that Johnson announced he would introduce his new legislation to “build back better” so it looks like this is going to be an important turning point.

REPLY: Perhaps that and the EU’s dream of a one-term confiscation of assets under the guise of a tax will contribute greatly to not just the demise of Europe, but to weakening the economy to show the world they are like Rome so this is the time for the barbarians to storm the gates in the years ahead.

It’s War – France & Britain Face Off at Sea

Armstrong Economics Blog/BRITAIN Re-Posted May 7, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

The French and British are at it again, as always. The British Royal Navy and French police boats patrolled offshore from the Isle of Jersey’s port of Saint Helier. French fishermen are angry about losing access to waters off the Jersey coast, thanks to Brexit, and have some 70 ships gathered for a protest calling for a blockade of Saint Helier.

Two Royal Navy ships, equipped with machine guns and helicopter landing pads, were sent to track the French demonstration. Macron sent gunships armed with a cannon. So here we have the old traditional hatred between the French and English that extends back to the 13th century. There was an English invasion of France in 1230, which was a military campaign undertaken by Henry III of England in an attempt to reclaim the English throne’s rights and inheritance to the territories of France held prior to 1224.

The House of Plantagenet was a royal house that originated from the lands of Anjou in France. Plantagenets’ two cadet branches, the houses of Lancaster and York, held the English throne from 1154, with the accession of Henry II at the end of the chaos until 1485, when Richard III died in battle. It was the Plantagenets that transformed England. The Plantagenet kings were forced to negotiate compromises, which led to the establishment of the Magna Carta. During the 15th century, the Plantagenets were defeated in the Hundred Years’ War which led to political, economic, and social problems which included English nobles raising private armies.

Eventually, a rivalry between the House of Plantagenet’s two cadet branches of York and Lancaster led to the famous Wars of the Roses, which lasted for decades. English succession culminated in the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485 when the reign of the Plantagenets and the English Middle Ages both met their end with the death of King Richard III.

So the rivalry between France and England has remained in the blood. During the negotiations over Brexit, the French always presented the greatest opposition
