Vaccine Mandates Illegal in Costa Rica

Armstrong Economics Blog/Disease Re-Posted Aug 11, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

Newly elected President Rodrigo Chaves has outlawed vaccine mandates. “Today vaccines are no longer mandatory and any action against someone who does not want to be vaccinated is a violation of the law,” the president stated. Although the president is vaccinated, he stated that was a health decision he personally made. It is now against the law in Costa Rica to force someone to be vaccinated against their will.

The president lifted numerous COVID restrictions when he came into power this May. He began by eliminating the mask mandate for everyone who does not work in healthcare. The Association of Physicians and Surgeons of Costa Rica, the Association of Pharmacists of Costa Rica, and the National Medical Union of Costa Rica spoke out against the president’s order to lift masks. He set out to lift the vaccine mandate in May too, but finally signed it into law this August.

This is another win for medical autonomy and a nation refusing to prolong the COVID fear-mongering propaganda that decimated the global economy.

FBI Director Chris Wray Claims Victim Status, Any Agency Targeting is “Deplorable and Dangerous”

FBI Director Christopher Wray gave remarks in Omaha, Nebraska today. He was questioned about reaction to the FBI raid on President Trump’s home and noted threats circulating online against federal agents and the Justice Department are “deplorable and dangerous.” “I’m always concerned about threats to law enforcement,” Wray said. “Violence against law enforcement is not the answer, no matter who you’re upset with.”

Director Wray also noted that FBI agents should be “valued and cherished” for their willingness to “put their lives on the line” to protect the institutions of government. On other matters, Director Wray declined to answer questions about the nine-hour search conducted Monday by FBI agents of Trump’s Palm Beach, Florida home. Instead deflecting any questioning to the U.S. Department of Justice. WATCH (2 mins):

.

This is the same agency that refused to prosecute any FBI agents involved in the cover-up operation to protect rapes of U.S. female gymnasts, and the same FBI agency who conducted a four-year corrupt investigation of false Trump-Russia accusations manufactured by Democrat political operatives.

The collapse of institutional credibility has nothing to do with deplorable Americans and everything to do with their own conduct.  As noted recently by Senator Chuck Grassley:

“If these allegations are true and accurate, the Justice Department and FBI are – and have been – institutionally corrupted to their very core to the point in which the United States Congress and the American people will have no confidence in the equal application of the law. Attorney General Garland and Director Wray, simply put, based on the allegations that I’ve received from numerous whistleblowers, you have systemic and existential problems within your agencies.” (LINK)

It’s the Family You Remember

Armstrong Economics Blog/Opinion Re-Posted Aug 7, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

COMMENT: GREAT idea to take the family to Yellowstone!!

I am 79 yrs old and my dad took the family there when I was in secondary school. He and mom were school teachers so they had all summer off. Not that far a drive from the east side of New Mexico.

Strongly urge everyone to take the time for holiday adventures with the family to create some memories. On our death bed we will not recall a list of work-related events, but family memories.

UD

REPLY: Yes. The family trips were the memories that endure. Even before my mother died, I had taken all the old 8mm films my father took and converted them to disk. She wanted to see them to relive her life before she passed. I remember the family trip to Europe for the summer. This was me watching an artist painting St Mark’s Square in Venice. That is what endures when all else fades away.

Nature v Humans

Armstrong Economics Blog/Opinion Re-Posted Aug 7, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

Sorry, I took a break with the family and went to Yellowstone National Park. My father took me there 60 years ago and it was so spectacular. I always remembered being there as a kid. So I suppose it is a family tradition now knowing that probably my grandchildren will take their children there. So, while empires, nations, and city-states rise and fall throughout history, despite the climate zealots that blame everything on humans as if we are a plague that should be exterminated, nature endures.

Even the Bisen are not afraid of cars. If they decide to eat the grass on the side of the road and block traffic, they have the right of way. Yellowstone is off the grid. Cell phone reception is very spotty and if you stay at the famous Old Faithful Inn, there is no air conditioning or Wi-Fi. So prepare to ruff it. You are really disconnected from the world.

Unborn Babies May be Filed as Dependents in Georgia

Armstrong Economics Blog/USA Current Events Re-Posted Aug 5, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

Georgia law states that life begins at conception. Aside from cases of rape and incest, or if the mother’s life is in danger, abortions are prohibited in the state. The Georgia Department of Revenue (DOR) has stated that the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization ruling sees the unborn as “natural persons.”

Therefore, under that logic, the unborn child has Constitutional rights. Georgia’s tax department will now allow taxpayers to claim unborn children as dependents. “Department will recognize any unborn child with a detectable human heartbeat … as eligible for the Georgia individual tax dependent exemption,” the DOR stated. Tax exemptions may reach $3,000 per unborn child. A heartbeat may be detected as early as six weeks into pregnancy via ultrasound.

Even some liberal voices are praising this new law as it will help low-income families who need the extra money. Other states strongly opposed to the practice of abortion may follow suit. Let’s just hope the government doesn’t find a way to tax unborn persons.

Coordination Between J6 Committee and Politically Motivated DOJ is Intended to Break Attorney-Client Firewalls in Trump Targeting Effort

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on August 4, 2022 | Sundance

The long-term motives and plans of the J6 committee and their coordination with the DOJ are starting to come into increased clarity as the mid-term elections draw near.

A key indicator of the strategy from within the J6/DOJ effort surfaced when the quasi-constitutional “committee” sent a subpoena to former President Trump legal counsel Pat Cipollone, then leaked the subpoena, then leaked the testimony, then shaped, edited and broadcast the testimony during their prime-time broadcast.   After the J6 broadcast, attorney Cipollene was then subpoenaed by the DOJ and recent reports indicate he is being called to testify before a grand jury.

The legal strategy, hereafter called by what it is, a Lawfare strategy, is now clear.

The legislative branch, specifically the J6 committee, is attempting to use their self-created legislative legal authorities, to fracture long established attorney-client privileges, and then send the results to the DOJ for use against the client of the attorney.  This explains the importance of former White House attorney Lisa Monaco taking up her position as Deputy Asst Attorney General.

The DOJ would be shut down by any ordinary court of jurisdiction, even in the heavily political Washington DC system, if they attempted to get a lawyer to give testimony about his legal advice to a client.  It is one of the most basic tenets and legal privileges in our system.

Attorneys cannot be compelled to give testimony against their clients, it is a standard long accepted in our legal system.  Any attorney who would break the confidence of the attorney-client privilege would lose their license.

Additionally, as the president, other privileges exist for President Trump, specifically the executive privilege to receive counsel or advice -from any person- on any issue that would pertain toward the administration of the executive office.  The president needs to be able to receive information in confidence, and the people giving advice and counsel need to be able to speak freely without fear the content of the conversation would later be used by another entity not involved in the issue at hand.

By compelling testimony to a non-court of manufactured quasi-legal jurisdiction, such as the J6 committee demanding testimony from Cipollone, it now appears the resulting information is being transferred to the DOJ for use against Cipollone’s client, President Trump.

This is an example of lawfare at its worst.

The J6 committee demands testimony and asserts the testimony must be offered without conflict because the J6 committee itself has no criminal authority.

As the issue is argued, the witness cannot be criminally charged by the committee, therefore no criminal liabilities exist for the witness, therefore the testimony can be compelled by the committee (the legislative branch).  However, what we are seeing is the committee being used as a legal shield and enforcement tool by/for the DOJ who could never -on their own- force the same testimony.

The result is President Trump legal counsel Pat Cipollone being compelled to testify before a criminal grand jury, and within that questioning he will be asked about about his prior testimony before the J6 committee.  Essentially, this is one big Lawfare workaround; and likely a legal and constitutional issue that will end up at an appellate court level or higher.

Political elements within the legislative branch (J6) are colluding with political elements within the executive branch (DOJ), to fracture the constitutional protections that exist not only for presidents’ (exec privilege), but also for all Americans (attorney/client privilege).

In ordinary times, this approach would be a jaw-dropping controversy that would come under rebuke from everyone involved in the media and justice system.

What is being described, well, actually what is happening, is what happens in third-world banana republics when presidents of various political regimes take office and then target their opposition using the state police or military.  What is being done under the auspices of the J6 committee and DOJ is an identical scenario using a longer approach that works around the foundation of the U.S. political and legal system.

More alarmingly, there is no one doing anything or saying anything to stop this process.  The republican politicians in Washington DC are as willfully blind to the unconstitutional lawfare scheme as they are to the victims of the J6 FBI and DOJ targeting operation who are languishing in DC prisons.

No doubt former President Obama and his crew are laughing as they watch this play out, while the media cheer.  After all, these are all former Obama officials who are carrying out the targeting operation. [ SEE WHY HERE ]  The Republicans and Democrats created the Fourth Branch of Government as a political targeting mechanism.  Both parties are now protecting themselves from discovery of its intent.

DC Dick Begs Wyoming Voters to Support DC Liz

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on August 4, 2022 | Sundance

Despite the overwhelming support of mainstream corporate media, Wyoming DeceptiCon Liz Cheney is likely to be crushed in the republican primary race on August 16.

In addition to voting to impeach President Trump and being removed from her congressional leadership position, DC Liz was one of only two republican votes to support the formation of the J6 Committee (the other was Adam Kinzinger).  DC Liz has been begging Wyoming Democrats to vote for her in the republican primary contest so she can save her seat.

In an embarrassing and genuinely pathetic last-ditch effort, her father, DC Dick, recorded a campaign commercial begging the people in Wyoming to support his daughter.
