The exodus from blue states has not waned since the pandemic. Americans are seeking lower taxes, crime, and tyranny as half of our nation descends into utter chaos. A recent poll by SmartAsset found that Americans earning $200,000 or more have been the most eager to flee states like New York and California.
California and New York have lost more high-earners, and therefore higher taxpayers, than any other states. California is the least desirable state with an average outflow of 24,670 high-income households with an adjusted gross income (AGI) of $1.3m. New York is not far behind, with a net outflow of 12,040 high-earning households worth an average AGI of $1.1m.
California is rushing to implement legislation to punish those who dare to leave Newsom’s socialist utopia. I’ve discussed the exit tax on this blog in detail as businesses and individuals seeking to leave the Golden State must pay a fine. The government will look at all of your assets and investments to determine how much you will need to pay, which is usually 0.4% of someone’s net worth. Wealth historically flees when taxes rise, and to combat this issue, California plans to tax anyone with an income for $30 million for up to a full decade after they leave the state. Someone leaving the country entirely will still be forced to pay California for the privilege of leaving.
Other states will likely adopt an exit tax. New York’s state budget toppled, fueled by the migrant crisis, and they will begin to hunt their own citizens for funds because that is what governments have ALWAYS done when they find themselves insolvent.
California also has one of the highest tax brackets for income tax, often reaching 14.4%, while New York slaps a 10.9% tax on the highest earners.
Average home prices in California has reached $746,667 but it is difficult to compile an average price on such a large state and the average home in a DESIRABLE relatively safe neighborhood is much higher. The same could be said about New York as we have a vastly different landscape from the city to the north, and stating the average home price of $450,000 grossly understates what someone will pay if they live near the city or in a relatively safe desirable neighborhood.
Where is everyone moving?
Americans are fleeing to red states with lower taxes and crime. Property prices in desirable neighborhoods may be high, but you have a much lower property tax. Florida and Texas continue to be the safe havens within America for both businesses and individuals. The average AGI for those moving to Florida from the aforementioned states is $907,013 while California’s new residents have an average AGI of $579,207. Consequently, lower earners have been forced to leave these states.
Inflation has already caused every American to spend more while living on less. High-income households are being punished under these socialistic eat the rich policies that invalidly claim they are responsible for the financial hardships of others. This trend will continue as Democrat-run states continue to adopt hardline policies that penalize monetary success.

Chuck Schumer makes it sound like Trump is the only one with immunity. He is an outright liar and is only fueling civil unrest. Prosecutors and judges are ABSOLUTELY IMMUNED, but somehow the President has none? Schumer claims nobody should be above the law. Well, let’s start with the Judges and prosecutors or those in Congress. He wants to tear apart the Supreme Court to manipulate the law for his political agenda. The tyranny this man supports is what the American Revolution was all about.
When the history of this period is written, Schumer will go down as a major factor in destroying the United States and his role in fostering civil unrest.
The Paris Olympics was a preview of what to expect under Agenda 2030 and other lofty climate change goals. Paris aimed to host the most sustainable Olympics in history with a 50% target reduction in carbon emissions compared to previous Olympics like Rio 2016 or London 2012. The world’s most impressive athletes are now speaking out to tell the world that climate goals are NOT sustainable for human life.
First, the International Olympic Committee planned to offer the athletes sustainable living conditions. The unairconditioned rooms had cardboard beds made of reusable materials. The picture of Italian swimmer Thomas Ceccon sleeping outside has gone viral. “There is no air conditioning in the Village, it’s hot, the food is bad,” he told The Sun. “Many athletes move for this reason: it’s not an alibi or an excuse, it’s the reality of what perhaps not everybody knows.” He said he was too tired to make the final as he was exhausted from the climate-friendly accommodations.
Countless athletes left the Olympic village to find alternative housing. The organizers eventually caved and provided some form of air conditioning to athletes due to the high number of complaints. The geothermal cooling systems simply failed. Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo, meanwhile, told the athletes to “trust the science” ahead of the games. Where have we heard that before?
“We appreciate the concept of not having air conditioning due to the carbon footprint,” Australian Olympic Committee CEO Matt Carroll said last year. “But it is a high-performance Games. We’re not going for a picnic.” They want you to believe that simple heating and cooling is a luxury that can be discarded in the name of science. We are now hearing from Olympians, the pinnacle of human strength and health, that they could not forego cooling systems.
Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum has said that people will eat bugs and enjoy them. Shamefully, that is precisely what the Olympic organizers fed athletes. “The science” claims that cattle is killing our environment since it releases too many emissions. The Olympic Committee boasted of serving a mainly plant-based menu to athletes, ignoring the obvious issue that nutrition and protein are essential.
Countless athletes complained that they were hungry and did not have enough to eat. Worse, the food provided lacked the proper nutrition for their bodies to perform. “I want to eat meat, I need meat to perform and that’s what I eat at home, so why should I change?” British swimmer Adam Peaty, 29, told iNews. “I like my fish and people are finding worms in the fish. It’s just not good enough. The standard, we’re looking at the best of the best in the world — and we’re feeding them not the best.”
They are seeking to reduce the amount of meat everyone can eat. They are creating lab-grown alternatives without knowing the repercussions. Farmlands are being bought en mass and thousands of cattle and chickens are being slaughtered in nations abiding by the WEF agenda.
Then there are reports of athletes falling ill after swimming in the Seine that was never properly cleaned. There is a reason President Macron backed out of his obligation to swim in that filth. Rules for thee but not for me. The masses will be forced to sacrifice human comforts to promote the climate change agenda. YOU are the carbon they want to eliminate.
