White House Spox Attempts to Cover For Joe Biden Not Knowing About DOJ Settlement to Pay Illegal Aliens

Yesterday, CTH noted the response from Joe Biden about his DHS, HHS and DOJ agreeing to pay illegal aliens restitution was clear and specific evidence Biden had no idea it was happening.  {Go Deep} The question from Fox News was the first time Biden had ever heard about the issue.

The people who really run the Executive Branch never told the White House occupant anything about the agreement, because Biden is essentially irrelevant to what they do on a daily basis.

As a result, yesterday Joe Biden called the media reporting “garbage” and said “it’s not going to happen.”  Today, the White House attempted damage control and spun the issue as if Joe Biden was just not aware of the settlement amount.   The strained attempt to cover for the reality was evident in Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s response today from the podium. WATCH:

[Transcript]  … “President Biden is calling these reports about the administration paying up to $450,000 to illegal immigrants who are separated from family members “garbage.” He says it’s not going to happen. But the ACLU says that it is. So, who is right?

MS. JEAN-PIERRE: Are you talking about the question you asked him yesterday?

Q Yes.

MS. JEAN-PIERRE: So, if it saves taxpayer dollars and puts the disastrous history of the previous administration’s use of zero tolerance and family separation behind us, the President is perfectly comfortable with the Department of Justice settling with the individuals and families who are currently in litigation with the U.S. government.    You know, DOJ can obviously speak more to that process. The President was — what he was reacting to was the dollar figure that was mentioned — that you mentioned to him yesterday.

As press accounts today indicate — there’s been press accounts on this — DOJ made clear to the plaintiffs that the reported figures are higher than anywhere that a settlement can land.

Again, this is a — this is something that the Department of Justice can speak to. I do not have anything more to add to this.

Q But if it’s not — if he’s not okay with $450,000, how much money is he okay giving these illegal immigrants?

MS. JEAN-PIERRE: This is some- — again, Peter, this is something that the Department of Justice is going to handle. I just laid out what he was thinking and how this is — the process was moving forward. The DOJ will talk to the specifics of this.

Q And so what changed, then, from yesterday? You’re saying that he would be “perfectly comfortable” settling with these families who broke the law to come here, but, yesterday, he said, “That’s not going to happen.”

MS. JEAN-PIERRE: First of all, let’s remember how we got here, how we got to a place where we’re dealing with families being separated. This is coming from the last administration’s cruel, inhuman, immoral — immoral policies against — against just people. It’s separating children from their families — 18-month-olds, 2-year-olds, 5-year-olds from their families.

That’s how we got here is because of the last administration. This is what we’re trying to deal with here in this administration. So, let’s be very clear of how we got here and what’s happening.

Anything else that you would like to know about this, again, I’ll — I’ll send you to the Department of Justice. I can’t speak to specifics — any more specifics on this. (read more)

Senator Rand Paul Confronts Dr. Death, Anthony Fauci, Over Lies Surrounding U.S. Funding of Virus Weaponization

During a Senate hearing today, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul confronted Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, over his continued lies and obfuscations about the NIH funding of coronavirus “gain of function” research in Wuhan, China.

Dr. Fauci is primarily responsible for facilitating weaponization of viruses which likely led to the COVID-19 outbreak.  As  a result, Dr. Death must continue to obfuscate and deny his responsibility by manipulating language, terms and definitions to cover his involvement.  WATCH:

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Promises to File Suit Against Dept of Labor and OSHA Rule Tomorrow

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on November 4, 2021 | Sundance | 44 Comments

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced a lawsuit against the Biden Administration’s unconstitutional Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) employer vaccine mandate. As soon as the unlawful emergency temporary standard (ETS) is published in the Federal Register tomorrow, the lawsuit will be immediately filed with the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. For more information on the court action, click here.  WATCH:

On page 5: “The ETS protects these workers through the most effective and efficient control available – vaccination – and further protects workers who remain unvaccinated through required regular testing, use of face coverings, and removal of all infected employees from the workplace.”

A recent study from Sweden published in The Lancet found that within 200 days, mRNA vaccines had no ability to prevent transmission whatsoever.

On page 15: The agency is not required to support its conclusions “with anything approaching scientific certainty and has the “prerogative to choose between conflicting evidence.”

The CDC recently released a review of research studies and its own unpublished data indicating that both infection-induced and vaccine-induced immunity are durable for at least six months. This rule should account for natural immunity.

On page 20: The agency does not believe it appropriate to impose the costs of testing on an employer where an employee has made an individual choice to pursue a less protective option. For the same reasons, OSHA has also determined that it is not appropriate to require employers to pay for face coverings for employees who choose not to be vaccinated.

Employees will have a direct financial penalty for making a medical decision of which they have every right to be in control.

This rule, if allowed to be implemented, will impact nearly 9,000 employers in Florida and the 4.5 million Floridians they employ who make up 60% of our workforce. Nationally, it will cost $2.9 billion. This OSHA rule must be deemed unconstitutional and Florida will be leading the way in taking the Biden Administration to court. (read more)

Steele Dossier Primary Subsource, Igor Danchenko, Arrested on Five Counts of Lying to FBI – Danchenko Was Working With Democrat Campaign Official

Posted originally on the Conservative tree house on November 4, 2021 | Sundance | 283 Comments

CTH begins every review of John Durham news with the following disclaimer:  If Special Counsel John Durham was going to reveal what is possible; how is Durham going to handle the reality that Robert Mueller’s and Andrew Weissmann’s entire existence was in place to hide it?

♦ The primary subsource for the Christopher Steele dossier was a guy named Igor Danchenko.   According to several investigations of the dossier, Chris Steele attributes most of the information within the dossier to Danchenko.  John Durham has just arrested Igor Danchenko [indictment pdf here]

The backstory is…. In essence, Chris Steele put a bunch of Danchenko garbage inside his dossier, and his dossier was used to get the Carter Page FISA warrant to conduct surveillance against the Trump campaign (October 21, 2016). Danchenko then disavowed the veracity of all the information he provided during FBI interviews in January, February and March 2017; but the FBI ignored the Danchenko statements and used the dossier for two more FISA renewals in April and June 2017.

For a background on Igor Danchenko and his sketchy claims both to Chris Steele and to FBI investigators, review this prior video put together by John Spiropoulos prior to the information we discover today:

Today, Igor Danchenko was indicted on five counts of lying to the FBI as an outcome of the special counsel investigation headed by John Durham. {New York Times}

However, it is important to note what Durham is doing here.  Durham is charging Danchenko (working outside government) with lying to the FBI while simultaneously avoiding drawing attention to the FBI/DOJ officials (inside government) who knew Danchenko was lying and were willfully blind to the lying in order to continue attacking and investigating President Donald Trump.

So far, John Durham is willing to go after the co-conspirators outside government, but he is unwilling to target or call out the co-conspirators currently inside the U.S. government.

Igor Danchenko, a Russia analyst who worked with Christopher Steele, the author of a dossier of rumors and unproven assertions about Donald J. Trump, was taken into custody as part of the Durham investigation.

The indictment [pdf here] says that Igor Danchenko falsely told investigators that he received a phone call in July 2016 from Sergei Millian, an individual he believed to be a U.S. citizen and the president of the Russian-American Chamber of Commerce.

Danchenko previously said Millian provided him with information for the dossier, and the two later agreed to meet in person in New York.  However, Millian has said that phone call with Danchenko never took place, there was no conversation or sharing of information and they never met.  The indictment affirms what Millian has claimed from the outset.

Danchenko falsely accused Millian of giving him information for the dossier because Danchenko was making it all up.  Instead the information was really coming from Charles Dolan Jr, a Democrat campaign official who the indictment calls “PR Executive-1” (h/t Aaron Mate).

Within the indictment, John Durham asserts that Danchenko and Dolan were working together to manufacture false information about Donald Trump in order to funnel it into the dossier through Christopher Steele.   The FBI would then gain the fabricated dirt from Chris Steele for their Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

Charles Dolan (DNC campaign operative) later admitted to the FBI that the information he provided to Danchenko was bogus.  However, Danchenko denied getting the information from Dolan, a lie that now becomes part of the indictment.

Technofog has a good review of the indictment – SEE HERE – which includes:

Overall, Danchenko faces five false statement charges:

    1. Falsely denying he didn’t talk to the Democrat PR executive (Dolan) about the dossier allegations.
    2. Falsely stating he took a 2016 call from Russian Sergei Millian (whom he says alleged a Trump/Russia conspiracy).
    3. Falsely stating in another FBI interview that he took the 2016 call from Millian.
    4. Falsely stating he talked to Millian more than once over the phone.
    5. False in another FBI interview about his conversations with Millian.

Something Very Weird Happening in Western Australia – Hospitals Overwhelmed, Vaccinations Continue But They Have No COVID

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on November 4, 2021 | Sundance | 533 Comments

Noted by Alex Berenson, something very weird is happening in the state of Western Australia (WA) home to a population of almost 3 million people.  The WA state has been locked down and isolated from the COVID-19 impacts in the eastern states.

There are very few COVID cases in locked down Western Australia, which has allowed them time to prepare for the potential arrival of the virus which includes a massive vaccination effort.  The state has modeled an anticipated arrival of the COVID virus in early 2022, early next year.  However, as the vaccination rates increase, the hospitals are being overwhelmed with new patients and the Premier cannot explain why.

Alex Berernson notes comments made by WA Premier Mark McGowan on October 31st about hospitals being currently overwhelmed. “Our hospitals are under enormous pressure. This is the same in [the rest of Australia]. This has been something no one has ever seen before, the growth in demand in our hospitals, why it is is hard, hard to know… There is huge numbers of people coming through the door, so we’re doing everything we can to try to manage it,” says Premier McGowan.

The issue is apparently worsening.  In an interview yesterday (Wed, Nov 3rd), Premier McGowan announced a massive expansion of hospital capacity due to an existing and undefined current influx in patients that is overwhelming hospital capacity.

COVID-19 was anticipated to arrive next year.  Proactively, mass vaccinations are ongoing.  It is during this period of mass vaccinations when the hospitals are being overwhelmed by new patients.  These hospitalizations have nothing to do with COVID infections.   WATCH (video at 29:15 prompted):

Obviously something is very wrong:

COVID-19, or any variant therein, is non-existent in the Western Australia population.

The Western Australia population is being vaccinated.

The hospitals in Western Australia are now overwhelmed, and not by COVID-19.

What else could the problem be other than the vaccinations causing hospitalizations?

Premier McGowan looks like a politician in a very difficult position…..

North Korea On the Brink of Famine

Armstrong Economics Blog/North Korea Re-Posted Nov 4, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

We recently reported that there is a cycle to famine. Sadly, the hermit kingdom of North Korea is no stranger to starvation due to the mass human rights abuses carried out by their government in addition to unfavorable weather. Business Insider recently reported that the country has resorted to breeding black swans to provide a new protein food source for citizens.

Ri Jong Nam, the chief party secretary for South Hamgyong province, claims, “Black swan meat is delicious and has medical value.” North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un noted that his country was amid a “tense” food crisis in September and asked citizens to contemplate their own solutions. Due to intense sanctions and most nations simply refusing to trade with the country, the cost of imports has become astronomical. North Korean News claims a kilo of bananas now costs around $45 USD or around $6.40 per banana. To put that into perspective, the average North Korean earns $5.5 to $11.1 per day, but there are no official records. Experts believe the country will be 1.35 million tons short of food this year, and by contrast, the nation needs 5.75 million tons of food to feed the population. I suppose it is not profitable for the pretend “philanthropists” to help a starving nation.

The Virginia & NJ Elections Warn of Political Chaos in 2022

Armstrong Economics Blog/Politics Re-Posted Nov 3, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

The upset in Virginia is very critical, as well as the close vote in New Jersey, where the odds were that the Democrat would win, 95% assured. McAuliffe faced a 52% unfavorable poll in VA. McAuliffe began his concession speech saying:

“While last night we came up short, I am proud that we spent this campaign fighting for the values we so deeply believe in.”

McAuliffe congratulated Youngkin and his family on their successful campaign but continued with talking points that proved controversial in the race, particularly in regards to education and Virginia public school system.

“We must protect Virginia’s great public schools and invest in our students,” McAuliffe wrote.

“While there will be setbacks along the way, I am confident that the long term path of Virginia is towards inclusion, openness and tolerance for all.”

While supposedly calling for inclusion, he has alienated independents and republicans and a lot of Democrats over his forced tactics to follow this agenda coming from the World Economic Forum and Build Back Better, a slogan that was launched at Davos in January 2019.

They tried to implement corrupt tactics such as claiming you could not vote because they sent you an absentee ballot or denied you the right to vote if you didn’t have a mask. Nevertheless, the Republicans also had narrow leads in the races for Virginia’s two other statewide offices. Yet, the Democrats are in trouble in the United States, for the polls are showing that 70% of Americans do not agree with this Build Back Better agenda coming from overseas. They are linked to George Soros who has openly been against the United States and seeks to undermine it every chance he gets. He actually said:

“American supremacy is the greatest threat to the world today.”

I maintain that our computer is absolutely correct. Next year will be chaos in politics — a Panic Cycle.

Giant Slayer – Edward Durr, a Truck Driver Who Likely Defeated The New Jersey Senate President

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on November 4, 2021 | Sundance | 55 Comments

Edward Durr is a blue-collar truck driver for a furniture store in South New Jersey.  In an incredible David v Goliath political upheaval, Durr decided to run for office against the most powerful Democrat in the New Jersey Senate, and it looks like Edward Durr is going to win.  {Direct Rumble Link}

New Jersey Senate President Steve Sweeney was a likely candidate to become the Democrat candidate for governor in New Jersey, as he has deep political connections and decades inside the Garden State political machine.  However, Edward Durr was fed up with the ridiculous COVID dictates from the governor’s office, and the non-response from any political office to push back against the nonsense.  So, he decided to take a stand.

Specifically, because he knew his neighborhood was frustrated with the politics of COVID and the manipulative rules, Edward Durr decided the district needed another option and ran against Sweeney for the State Senate seat.  Mr. Durr has stunned the political establishment with a genuine grassroots campaign that has likely defeated the second most powerful office holder in New Jersey.  WATCH:

(Via Politico) “I kept telling myself and telling people I was going to do it, but in the back of my mind I was like, ‘You know, how am I going to beat the Senate president?” said Durr, who ran unsuccessfully for Assembly in 2019 and has never held elected office.

But Durr said that as he sat in his living room with his family Tuesday night as the results rolled in, it dawned on him that there was a decent chance he‘d soon be a member of the state Senate.  “My daughter was sitting next to me. She laughed at me and said ‘Dad, you’ve got tears running down my face,” Durr said Wednesday morning.

Durr, a 58-year-old father of three and grandfather of six who grew up in South Jersey and lives in Logan Township, estimates he spent less than $10,000 on the race. By contrast, in 2017, when the New Jersey Education Association, state’s largest teachers union, was feuding with Sweeney, it spent about $5.4 million to take him out, yet he still won by 18 points.

This was a far different electorate, with Republican districts and those with large blue collar populations turning out in droves for Republicans.

It wasn’t just Sweeney. Durr’s Assembly running mates, Bethanne McCarthy Patrick and Beth Sawyer, appeared on track to defeat incumbents John Burzichelli and Adam Taliaferro (both D-Gloucester).

Durr said Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy’s coronavirus executive orders, vaccine and school mask, unemployment benefits snafus and a general distrust of the South Jersey Democratic machine that has dominated the region for years all contributed to his strong performance.

Sweeney, Durr said, “never challenged” Murphy during the pandemic.

“You have the debacle of unemployment. The masking of the kids in school. You have Senator Sweeney trying to take away peoples’ medical freedom rights,” Durr said. “I think the perfect storm was that he stepped into a pile of you-know-what and couldn’t get out of it because he didn’t know which way to turn. I just tapped into the right focus.”  (Read More)

Governor Ron DeSantis Announces Legislative Session Plan to Address Election Integrity

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on November 3, 2021 | Sundance | 115 Comments

Earlier today, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis delivered remarks in West Palm.   During his speech he outlined a legislative package he will be presenting to the Florida legislature to bolster the state’s election integrity measures.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced a new legislative proposal to further strengthen Florida’s election integrity. This proposed legislation will be addressed in the upcoming 2022 Legislative Session, which begins in January.

“We are excited to say that next legislative session we are proposing another package of election integrity reforms that will make Florida the number one state for elections,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “I am excited that with this legislation, our state will be able to enforce election violations, combat voter fraud and make sure violators are held accountable. If potential violators know they will be held accountable, they will be much less likely to engage in improper conduct in the first place.”

At the event, Governor DeSantis called on the Legislature to take four additional steps to safeguard our elections:

• Establish an Office of Election Crimes and Security within the Department of State to investigate election crimes and fraud;
• Elevate the crime of ballot harvesting to a third-degree felony, recognizing that this offense is a serious attack on democracy;
• Require timelines for supervisors of elections to clean the voter rolls of ineligible voters; and
• Prohibit unsecure, haphazard drop box locations in Florida.

The 2022 legislative proposal builds on election integrity legislation signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis in May 2021 through Senate Bill 90. In 2021, Governor DeSantis worked with the Florida Legislature to strengthen voter identification, prohibit the mass mailing of ballots, ban ballot harvesting and prohibit private money (Zuckerbucks) from influencing elections in our state.
