Did Socrates Forecast The Israeli Invasion?

Armstrong Economics Blog/Israel Re-Posted Oct 26, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

QUESTION: Socrates appears to have picked the Hamas Attack. There was a double Directional change on the currency for the week of October 2nd and then two more directional changes for the following two weeks. There are rumors that people knew it was coming and were buying Northrop Gruman shares the week before. Am I reading correctly that Socrates picked this up in advance because people were positioning themselves in advance?

SF

ANSWER: This is how Socrates has been forecasting such events. As I have said many times at conferences, I began to understand this back in the 1980s. Those who know of such events start to move the money in advance. Socrates picked up a Double Direction Change the week of September 11th. The previous week was the lowest weekly closing on Northrop Gruman. The main turning point was the week of October 2nd. This showed up in the currency as well, confirming that the target zone was Israel. The same was true looking around at the surrounding economies.

We will address this complex tope at the WEC Nov 17-19th.

The 1848 Berlin Revolution

QUESTION: You have mentioned that the 1848 Communist Revolution that swept all of Europe was a political contagion. Am I correct in assuming this is what you suggest comes post 2024 going in 2032?

Paul

The French 1848 Revolution

ANSWER: Yes. We all have heard of the 1846 -1852 Great Hunger/Great Irish Potato Famine. This Great Hunger was not confined to Ireland. It hit all of Europe, and this was a significant influence in promoting the Communist Revolution of 1848 that swept Europe. The 1848 Revolutions in Europe were unique, for they were a contagion. Neither the French Revolution of 1789, the July Revolution of 1830, the Paris Commune Uprising of 1870, nor the Russian Revolutions of 1905 and 1917 sparked a comparable transcontinental cascade as that of 1848 that swept Europe, including Romania. What is often overlooked is that this came on the heels of a major famine that killed millions- the Great Hunger.

The parallel with prosecuting Trump also existed, where they executed a German politician for supporting the 1848 Revolution. Robert Blum (1807–1848) was a German democratic politician, a publisher, and a revolutionary spirit. He was also a member of the National Assembly of 1848. He fought for a unified Germany and opposed what was happening then, the same thing unfolding today. He argued that no people should rule over another – that is, Prussia. Back then, Prussia was protestant, and they sought to overrule the Catholics of Bavaria. Today, the LEFT assumes seizing power, and they get to force their agenda upon everyone else. That is neither how Democracy works, and it is specific against the very purpose of civilization, where everyone benefits by joining together.

Hence, Blum was also an opponent of the Prussian occupation of Poland.  Blum also was against the rise of this idea of an ancient Arian race, and as such, he opposed the movement toward antisemitism. He supported the Southern German Catholic sect of Bavaria. He even argued for the equality of the sexes, which was ahead of his time.

Blum claimed immunity as a member of the National Assembly who, under the law, could not be prosecuted for his political position. That principle should have applied to Trump on January 6th. They were clever and had him arrested during a stay in Vienna, Austria, and this being a German politician was not recognized as an immunity outside of Germany. They naturally found him guilty and ordered his execution for his role in the Revolutions of 1848 in the German states.

The ex-CIA Chief has called for the execution of Donald Trump. That would save the CIA from having to assassinate Trump if he wins the election and blame some Mexicans this time. Trump now knows the game. There is no way the Neocons, FBI, CIA, and institutionalized career politicians, including the uni-party RINOS, will ever follow any order of Trump. They are blocking even RFK because he is also an outsider. How dare these people think they can be voted in to change government?

This is this coalition of anti-American actors’ last stand, and they are not about to lose control in 2024. We are staring into the eyes of some of the most evil people on the face of the Earth. They can taste power and lick their lips over the thought of defeating Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, Syria, and the Palestinians. From their perspective, this is their time.

Welcome to how history repeats and the Revolutionary Cycle as we move into 2032.

Sunday Trivia – Did You Ever Notice The Lyrics

R.E.M is a band from Georgia.  This song was written in 1987.  Did you ever notice the lyrics?

That’s great, it starts with an earthquake,
Birds and snakes, an aeroplane
Lenny Bruce is not afraid.

Eye of a hurricane,
Listen to yourself churn
World serves its own needs,
Regardless of your own needs.
Feed it up a knock, speed,
Grunt no, strength no.
Ladder structure clatter with fear of height, down height.
Wire in a fire, represent the seven games
In a government for hire
And a combat site.
Left her, wasn’t coming in a hurry with the furries
Breathing down your neck.
Team by team reporters baffled, Trump, tethered crop.
Look at that low plane!
Fine then.
Uh oh, overflow, population, common group, but it’ll do.
Save yourself,
Serve yourself.
World serves its own needs,
Listen to your heart bleed. Tell me with the rapture and the
Reverent in the right
Right.
You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright
Light, feeling pretty psyched.

It’s the end of the world as we know it.
It’s the end of the world as we know it.
It’s the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

The ECM of Ancient Times

Armstrong Economics Blog/ECM Re-Posted Sep 18, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

QUESTION: If I remember correctly, did you say that the 51.6-year cycle even applied to the wars of Athens in ancient times?

GD

ANSWER: Yes, you have a good memory. Aegina fell to Athens in 456 BC in war. It won its independence again with the loss of Athens in the Peloponnesian War with Sparta in 404 BC after 51.6 years. Then, the next cycle on the 51.6-year model was 352 BC. This is when Philip II of Macedon, the father of Alexander the Great, drove the Phocians southward after his victory over them in the Battle of Crocus Field. This resulted in Athens and Sparta coming to the assistance of the Phocians to stop Philip again at Thermopylae, where the Persians were stopped. This time, instead of Sparta occupying the pass of Thermopylae, it was the Athenians.

Philip backed down from any advance into central Greece at this time.  However, Philip was seen as glorious since he avenged Phocian general Onomarchos’ plunder of the sacred treasury of Delphi at the Temple of Apollo to pay his mercenaries. This is why Philip II issued gold coins depicting Apollo. Philip crucified Onomarchos, and all the prisoners were drowned as ritual demanded since they robbed the Temple. Philip eventually conquered Athens in 338 BC.

Yet 51.6 years before 338 BC was 389 BC when the Athenian general, Thrasybulus, demanded tribute from the various Aegean city-states to support Rhodes, a democratic government, fighting against the communist state of Sparta. And 51.6 years before that, it was 442 BC when, politically, Pericles defeated Thucydides, becoming the unchallenged leader of Athens. Go back to another cycle, and you come to the first Persian invasion of Greece.

This cycle has existed throughout ancient times, proving it has incorporated economics, war, and climate. It appears throughout the Roman Empire as well.

Even the collapse of the Roman Monetary System unfolded as a waterfall, taking just 8.6 years.

The 2032 Paradigm Shift

Armstrong Economics Blog/ECM Re-Posted Aug 21, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

QUESTION: Marty, I have tried to convince some family members of the deep state and the trend in front of their eyes. No matter what I say, they ignore it and call me crazy. Should I give up?

DP

ANSWER: Look, the vast majority are simply the herd. They prefer not to think analytically. They feel comfortable thinking the government really cares. They still want to live the dream that Santa Claus is real. I would estimate that this represents at least 70% of the population, and at times it has risen to as high as 85%. I based that on simply looking at the election cycle. No president has ever won even 70% of the popular vote. The real decision makes, I would put at about 10%. They are the independents who vote on issues and will vote for either party. The rest are core Democrats and Republicans.

Physiologically, the need to remain as part of the herd. You will NEVER convince them. You can only preach to the choir. Looking at history, this will change, but it must come with pain and sorrow that forces them to reassess their life. Consequently, do not try to beat your head against a brick wall. Just say, when you open your eyes and mind, call me. They will remember that. They MUST come voluntarily. You cannot drag them any more than you can drag a horse to water.

Historically, there comes a time for a paradigm shift. That is when we should see at least 40% of the people who then support change. In the case of the American Revolution, Thomas Paine wrote Common Sense. That publication moved the people finally, and an uprising against the king. His work was so influential that the English struck tokens targeting him with the slogan:

END OF PAIN

As we move closer and closer to 2032, we will see this shift post-2024. We should begin to witness this paradigm shift toward anti-government form by 2026. It will most likely explode in 2029. This is all necessary for the people must come voluntarily. It will be 2032 when we witness perhaps as much as 60%-75% of the people demanding the end of Republic forms of government.

You will NEVER get 100% consensus on anything. Some people ask me what would happen if everyone used Socrates. I respond nothing different. But the question is rather absurd. There will NEVER be such a consensus. Here is a colonial note from George promising it is back by confiscating the assets of those who supported the king who could NOT voluntarily depart from the herd.

Armstrong Economics Blog/Q&A Re-Posted Aug 20, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

COMMENT #1: Mr. Martin; I read your private blog and your comment that “They stopped counting the votes halfway through and proclaimed Zelensky the winner, which was all rigged.” Nobody I know voted for Zelensky. He was installed by the West and the Oligarchs to wage war and fill their pockets with dollars. Even the Economist finally just reported: “Criticism of Volodymyr Zelensky, the president, has increased, and the reasons for the dissatisfaction are clear.”

You are the only person I have found in the West who reports the truth.

Thank you. It means a lot to us Ukrainians in the middle of this stupid war.

PZ

Zelensky and his wife visited Sweden today and our prime minister Ulf Kristersson announced the biggest economic support package in our history to a single country going to Ukraine. But it was not enough for Mr Zelensky. He kept asking for our fighter jets JAS Gripen. He just keep on begging for more and more for every country he visits.

They also announced that the swedish battle tank CV 90 are to be manufactured in Ukraine now!

And Mrs Zelenska visited a rehabilitation centre here in Stockholm for Ukrainians injured in the war. And Zelenska talked about how Ukraine needs to be handicap accessible because they are counting on 3-5 million war veterans after this!

Regards MS

COMMENT #3: Marty, they seriously think we are all stupid. Check this article on a Russian missile supposedly striking yet another Ukrainian theatre.

The picture of the fireball is from Lahaina and the aftermath showing the theatre reveals not a single scorch mark

Now, I was a career firefighter for 30 years, and that is some amazing building.

The attack on the X video appears to be fake and may be an example of AI generated video.

We are in deep trouble, because it is going to become increasingly difficult to distinguish between what is real and what isn’t

I think you will find this story interesting.
The other morning I was at the gym. Each day there is a group of Russians, and a couple of Ukrainians that work out. They are all approximately in their late 50’s to 60’s. They do their respective workouts, but they always talk amongst each other.
The conversation with this group is always cordial. I know there can be hatred between the two, but I think we all know there are exceptions to everything. I think most people respect each other and leave it at that.
I was nearby when for whatever reason they started talking about the war in English. The conversation was primarily about each other’s respective family members. They wanted to know if a parent, sibling, or cousin was doing fine along with any fresh news from the old country. One happened to mention a family member that was trying to leave.
Either way, the conversation was going along fine when all of a sudden an American, whom I think is in his late 70s chimed in.
He started out by providing his take on the situation which was mainly what is repeated on TV here.
“I heard no one can get in or out of Ukraine because the government won’t let them and the Russians won’t either.”
While I’m not sure where he possibly heard that their entire group shot back that wasn’t true citing the many people that fled here, Germany, and even Russia itself. They mentioned it was true many people left illegally if they could not navigate the government rules, but most people try going through the proper channels first. The group unanimously expressed it’s very difficult for the men to leave Ukraine which I think is obvious.
Personally, I have a few friends with Ukranian family members that have fled here this past year so I know it’s possible. I also found out they get quite the care package brimming with preloaded debit cards, healthcare access, phones, and more. The migrants from the south get the same treatment too. But back to their conversation.
One of the Russians chimed in by saying “Of course if you know the right people and have money you get anywhere you want. That’s universal and even applies in America”
The whole group started laughing.
That agitated the American a bit. So he tried changing the conversation direction slightly.
He started to spew the standard pro-Zelensky, Russia is the aggressor, and Russia is on the ropes line. Then went into why Ukraine needs more weapons because Russia started the whole thing. Pretty much everything you would expect to be said by an American watching the nightly mainstream news.
Well, the conversation went from smoldering to a rager. The Ukrainians AND the Russians all started shouting at him in disagreement over everything he said.
In essence, they told him most of what he stated is not the entire story, or in some cases false. A comment that stuck out to me, which also made me laugh, came from the quietest in their group.
“Don’t believe what you hear on CNN or Yahoo. It’s all BS. When you live through Communism you must learn how to read between the lines. You Americans haven’t lived through that long enough yet so you don’t know how to figure out what is really being said. You have that[communism] starting here and don’t even know it”
Each one nodded in agreement.
The American became defensive and told them they were full of it. He shook his head and waved his hands at them in disagreement. Not for a second did he ponder if there was any validity to their claim, nor did he seem interested in researching it further. The conversation essentially ended shortly after that.
I know most of this is old news to you.
Thanks for everything you do.

PS. My goal is to make 2023 the first year I attend the WEC either in person or virtual.

COMMENT #5: Happy days from Canadian broadcasting on these horrors.

However, you go to British institutions and we see comments like “The situation in Yellowknife is almost a lost cause”.

Amazing.

Comments on West Kelowna do happen to come from a BC Provincial Minister though who finally tells us what Al Jazeera mentioned last night.

Evacuations, both mandatory and “have your bag ready to go soon” rose to 70,000+. This close the Fort MacMurray disaster some years back.

How is it that these overseas outlets know more than Canadian ones??

With the fourth indictment against Trump it appears that Fulton County is going to actually go through with making Trump take a mug shot as opposed to how the other jurisdictions have handled it by simply booking him without the mugshot.
Do you think this could backfire politically? Obviously there are plenty of people who hate Trump and would love to see a mugshot of him but to me this seems like a mistake. Martin Luther King’s mugshot from the Birmingham jail didn’t hurt his cause like the segregationists thought it would, instead it made King more sympathetic to a wider audience. Could the same happen here? Might they be overplaying their hand?
From Trump’s perspective there is a lot of good marketing and promotional material that could come of this. He could sell shirts with his mugshot and below it could say:
“Wanted: For President in 2024”
All the best from East Texas,
Greg

COMMENT #7: You said – “The economy was strong before they attempted to BUILD BACK BETTER.”
… and yet, that seems to be EXACTLY what’s going on in Maui right now. Funny how Maui was already tagged as a planned Smart City precinct by Klaus Schwab and Smeagol Harari and friends at the WEF.
Not unlike the unprecedented floods and fires around and through the town of Lismore, NSW Australia, which happens to lie on a planned WEF Smart City corridor. And now the NSW government is hellbent on buying up ALL the property and getting those unwashed masses off of that land corridor. Who would have thought?
If it’s any consolation, you’re preaching to the converted on this subject.
Not that knowing what’s going on seems to be making any difference – seems to me the Fat Lady needs to get her fat butt out of the dressing room and start exercising her fat vocal chords.
Just saying.

COMMENT #8: As a lawyer, I can definitely see you have specialized in constitutional law. We spend little time on that in school. We focus on statutory law. Your father would have been proud of your legal mind. A former staff member told me you have studied the laws of Asia and Europe in order to advise multinational companies. I think that shows in your writing.

PS: Thank you for explaining Shakespeare’s comment that the first thing we do is kill all the lawyers really meant prosecutors.

Poland & Niger

Armstrong Economics Blog/Uncategorized Re-Posted Aug 9, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

QUESTION: Mr. Armstrong, We met when you came to lecture here in Poland. Everything you warned about has unfolded right down to a dollar high in 2022, followed by a low in 2023. The majority now are against the government. We, too, fear that the election may be rigged later this year. Putting all these troops on the border with Ukraine, which includes 40,000 Americans, has raised grave concerns that our government will cross the border in hopes of getting Russia to attack our troops to justify NATO invoking Article V. Some are starting to wonder if our government needs to get Russia to attack us to suspend elections as Zelensky has done in Ukraine.

What do you see for Poland ahead?

Aleksy

ANSWER: Yes, it has been quite a while. Thank you for recommending Krakow. It was beautiful. Loved the architecture and vast square. I know the concerns there about the upcoming elections. We have a Panic Cycle in November. I am also aware of the idea of Polish troops crossing the border and taking the Western portion of Ukraine, which used to be their territory. Putin has warned about this, but the Western press calls it misinformation and Russian propaganda. Then you have Yevgeny Prigozhin in Belarus with his eyes on Poland. Your government is indeed pushing the envelope.

The risk remains that the greenback will rise into 2027, which seems to be more on the threat of war. You have Poland, Lithuania, and Estonia with severe concerns about Russia retaking the region. The Russian people are not really interested in that. Much of that propaganda has been spread by the ISW and NATO, which is desperate to remain relevant.

I think Zelensky’s days are numbered. If he is assassinated, it will be for what he has done to Ukraine. The social media in Ukraine shows funerals and images of the dead. The kill ratio is 5 Ukrainian soldiers to even one Russian and that comes from Ukraine – not Russia.

Ukraine is losing badly. That is my concern that the Polish/American Troops will cross the border begging for Russia to attack them so they can indeed invoke Article V. The share market is going to roll over. Closing below last week’s low should spark a correction, and the volatility should start next week.

Insofar as this election being rigged, I appreciate the concern. Poland will reach a critical turning point on October 26th, 2023, which is now 34 years from the overthrow of communism on June 4th, 1989. There should be a shift in politics; ideally, the present government should lose. That remains to be seen.

We seem to be begging to start another proxy war against Russia in the middle of Africa. There was a coup overthrowing the government, and you have people chanting chanting “Wagner” and raising Russian flags. The whole problem has been the Neocons and their private propaganda machine, the ISW, keep projecting that Russia is weak and they can take it down. Russia can manufacture all the weapons it needs, and it is one of the wealthiest countries on the planet regarding natural resources. These people are putting out fake news to encourage war, telling everyone the West can win.

This is more akin to the US Civil War, where the North had all the capacity to manufacture weapons, and the South had been primarily an agrarian society. The South needed money and supplies from Europe.

Secretary of State William Henry Seward (1801–1872) for the North was deeply concerned that no foreign nation would intervene in the conflict on behalf of the Confederacy. Russia came to Seward’s aid to protect the US from a European invasion. Russia sent its warships to protect New York City and San Francisco in 1863 against the British and French, who perhaps considered the American Civil War an opportunity to conquer the United States.

In contrast, the Confederate diplomats desperately attempted to convince the stronger European countries to come to their aid and intercede on their behalf. These diplomats were successful in helping to convince Great Britain and France, two European countries that had much at stake in the outcome of the American conflict, to legally confer belligerent status upon the Confederacy, which recognized it as a nation engaged in war. In other words, they recognized the South as independent. In contrast, today, the West refuses to grant that to the Donbas in Ukraine despite the Minsk Agreement and the fact that the people there are Russian, while Ukraine outlaws their language and their religion.

In fact, Abraham Lincoln drew his Emancipation Proclamation taking the actions of Tsar Alexander II (b: 1818; 1855–1881), who issued his own Emancipation Manifesto on March 3rd, 1861, emancipating 23 million Russian serfs. American abolitionists cheered his action and pushed for Lincoln to do the same, which he finally did on January 1st, 1863. Russians were actually shocked when the American states descended into armed conflict over the issue. In Russia, the serf owned nothing, and they were not happy. They embraced Marxism, and the first Russian Revolution followed in 1905, 43 years later (8.6/2).
