Biden Losing It – 2015/2016 Russian Meddling “wouldn’t have happened under my watch”…

This is sad…. hopefully those around him -who care- will stop this soon; before it gets embarrassing for him.   Former Vice-President Joe Biden appears on CNN for a friendly interview about his current candidacy.  Unfortunately what follows is an exhibition in Biden’s growing cognition issues.

Mr. Biden, referencing his position that Russia was meddling in the Brexit, U.S. and EU elections in 2015 and 2016, says those examples would not have happened under his watch:

This is only one snippet of the interview. However, even in this short snippet it’s obvious something is wrong. Candidate Biden is losing his ability to cognitively compartmentalize multiple aspects of a conversation simultaneously.

Biden will not be the presidential nominee of the 2020 Democrats. That’s clear now.

There have been stories about how the Biden team is increasingly working to keep him away from too much scrutiny. This interview with Chris Cuomo is a case study in: why.

Within political circles and debate prep there is a process called “murder-boarding”, where you put your candidate in front of a pretend panel of three questioners. As the candidate answers a specific question the job of the two participants is to interrupt and inject related questions prior to the conclusion of the original thought response.

If Biden is in the next debate; and if Crazy, Spank-Me and How begin to challenge Biden during his responses; he will not be able to get through it. He’s done.

Now, the DNC may make the decision, or instruct the other candidates, to back-off the Biden attacks; but that approach has limitations and can only help retain his viability for so long. Eventually the issue will overwhelm the ability of those around him to cover and assist.

There may be some twisted political purpose in assigning Biden the role of lead attack against President Donald Trump, but nothing within that motive will be intended to worry about Biden’s best interests.   He’s in a tenuous space right now.

Candidate Biden cannot compartmentalize thought on-the-fly and then reassemble the short term cognition to continue a train of thought on multiple simultaneous issues. If we can see it, those who would be relying on Biden to campaign and interact with an increasingly narrow focused media apparatus can surely also see it.

In my humble opinion, Joe Biden likely won’t make it to Iowa.

Citizenship Question on Census: Constitutional Problem or Threat to Democrat Politicians?

Bill Whittle can’t understand the Constitutional problem with asking a citizenship question on the decennial census, since the entire purpose of the census is to determine Congressional apportionment, and only citizens can vote…so far. Progressives and Democrats say that legal immigrants will avoid answering the census if it might jeopardize the ability of their illegal friends and family to stay in the United States. UPDATE: Shortly after we recorded this episode the Justice Department announced that efforts are still underway to add a citizenship question to the census, although printing of forms has allegedly already begun. The yield curve has been inverted for the last month. An inverted yield curve occurs when long-term government debt yields fall below rates on short-term notes and bills. For stock market investors, an inverted yield curve is typically a sign that equities could peak before an economic recession will follow. It also can be a precursor to a bear market in stocks, where equities fall 20% or more from highs which is the typical forecast. Some have pointed to the escalating China trade war. Investors, the claim, are worried that the China trade war and U.S. tariffs will slow global economic growth.

The 10-year Treasury note yield fell to 2.24% in early trading on May 29. Yields on three-month Treasury bills rose to 2.35%, well above the 10-year rate. The 10-year Treasury note fell below 2% on June 25 following the release of weaker-than-expected consumer confidence data. The three-month note traded at 2.13.%. Ten-year rates stood at 2.69% at the start of 2019. On June 4, 10-year Treasury notes slipped to 2.1 in midday trading, its lowest level in 20 months.

But much the real trend driving the inverted yield curve is capital inflows seeking long-term yields. Much of the capital has moved in from Europe. In addition, the amount of money in fixed-income exchange-traded funds passed $1 trillion last month, an ascendance that has reshaped the market in which countries and companies raise money to pay their bills. This has also altered the yield-curve. These forces have changed the dynamics of the marketplace and the traditional inverted yield curve does not necessarily mean what it once did and more than central banks use to be in control of the economy or money supply.

Now that the media’s biggest spreader of hype, NY Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) has been caught up for the histrionics she used to milk publicity for herself out of an El Paso County, Texas migrant detention center visit,  she’s trying her utmost to portray the pastors who pointed out her sleazy histrionics as liars.

“Several pastors who toured the same overrun border facility where Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.,  claimed “abuses” of sexism and women drinking water out of the toilet told Fox News her claims are “totally absurd.” (Fox News, July 3, 2019)

“Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, the world’s largest Hispanic Christian organization, and senior pastor of New Seasons Christian Worship Center in Sacramento, asked the White House if he could take a group of pastors to see for themselves the reported deplorable and inhumane conditions for illegal immigrants at an El Paso County, Texas migrant detention center and what they saw was “drastically different”.

AOC, who has never met a truth she could allow to stand and who is always allowed the last word on Twitter, came on like an unleashed fury against the pastors in last night’s tweet:

“The right is responding to what’s been exposed at the border by denying it & saying I’m lying. Hard to assert when the details I shared are corroborated by other members of Congress, court documents, migrant testimony, and now photos released today by the Inspector General.”

How about those pictures depicting that not just the El Paso facility but all ICE/CBP facilities use the same toilet-sink arrangement, AOC?

Rev. Rodriguez, a Trump adviser, who has previously advised both Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush on immigration, responded on “Fox @ Night” Tuesday. (Fox News)

“I must be living in a parallel universe somewhere…I did not find soiled diapers. I did not find crying children. I did not find deplorable conditions,” Rodriguez told Fox News host Shannon Bream. “Quite the opposite. I found amazing people on both sides trying to make a very difficult circumstance better. I don’t know where everyone else is visiting! I spoke to border patrol agents, the vast majority of which are Latino and many attended churches that are part of our network, and I asked, ‘Hey guys, did you stage this? Did you flip the script to accommodate people like me?’ And they went ‘Pastor Sam, absolutely not. You are looking at the very thing that existed here for a number of weeks, so it’s not that we shifted because of any deplorable conditions that were discovered.’”

“Rodriguez said he found out that the attorneys who reported the original “deplorable” conditions “never, ever walked through the center.”

“They never visited what I visited. They took that information anecdotally to interviews with children, with children mind you, from the age of 2 to the age of 17. The truth sets you free.”

“Kevin Wallace, pastor of Redemption to the Nations Church, who joined Rodriguez, slammed Ocasio-Cortez’s allegations as “totally absurd.” Instead, he witnessed “kind, considerate and passionate” Border Patrol agents.

“The congresswoman is entitled to her opinion, but her opinion should never shape the truth,” Wallace told “Fox & Friends” Wednesday morning. “The truth doesn’t have a side. The truth stands on its own and people with integrity have got to make up their mind to stand on the side of truth, and the facts that we saw were there.”

“Ocasio-Cortez described being fearful of the border agents. But Tony Stewart, the pastor of Citylife Church who also toured the center with the delegation of seven pastors, said border agents were in tears about the mischaracterization about them.

“What we saw was much different than what was said [by Ocasio-Cortez],” Stewart told “Fox & Friends First,” adding, “The reality, it is not a great situation. We are in a crisis and I would urge Congress to make this work, but border agents are doing the best they can in the circumstances. It has been over-politicized, boiled to a point and this week it exploded but I would say when we were there it was much different than I expected.”

AOC wept crocodile tears standing in front of an empty field, but pictures of her weeping went viral anyway.

Border agents, who have wives and children were in real tears about the mischaracterization about them by a politicians awarded saturation coverage by a left-leaning media.

The seven pastors, all being male, are up against it with the “abuses of sexism”-throwing AOC, and here’s hoping she won’t accuse them of the same sexual threats she made against the border guards.

The Washington Examiner requested FOIA when released will not only prove what really happened when AOC made her pitstop at the El Paso station, it will also blow her cover.

It’s high time to out AOC for who and what she really is.  Though she habitually says stupid things, she’s not per se a regular stupido.  She’s not a vulnerable sexually threatened female crying for public sympathy in a little girl voice.  Neither is AOC just another run-of-the mill far left activist.

AOC’s a trained actress brought into power by Socialist Senator Bernie Sander’s original 10,000 member casting call, who should never have been elected as a U.S. Congresswoman.

There are only a handful of people throughout history who I admire and wish I could have shaken their hand. Thomas Jefferson was one of them. The Fourth of July is all about the signing of the Declaration of Independence which Jefferson authored.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. 

The actual Independence Day was expected to be July 2, when the Second Continental Congress voted to approve a resolution declaring the United States independent from Great Britain’s rule. After voting for independence, Congress debated and revised the wording of the Declaration which took two days to complete on July 4th. Jefferson had been writing it, draft after draft. He was one of the Committee of Five the Continental Congress set up to draft a declaration, with the other four being Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Robert Livingston, and Roger Sherman. John Adams had written to his wife, Abigail, stating that July 2nd would be the day of Independence.

It wasn’t until July 8 when the city of Philadelphia actually held a parade firing off guns to mark the moment. Then it wasn’t until July 9th when the Continental Army, under General George Washington, received the news. Washington then ordered soldiers who were in New York City to defend it from the British. Washington read a letter dated July 6th that he received from John Hancock, who was the president of the Continental Congress. As far as the British were concerned, they did not learn of the Declaration of Independence until August.

Thomas Jefferson wrote his own epitaph. He was proud to have done the Declaration of Independence. He made no mention of being the President of the United States.

In truth, nobody signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4th. John Trumbull’s painting of the signing hanging in the grand Rotunda of the U.S. Capitol was simply a work of imagination. The actual signing took place on August 2nd. That’s when the assistant to the secretary of Congress, Timothy Matlack, produced a clean copy. John Hancock signed first, right in the middle of the signature area. The last delegate to sign, according to the National Archives, is believed to be Thomas McKean of Delaware, who signed sometime in 1777.

According to the National Archives, there are 26 copies of what is known as “the Dunlap broadside” (21 owned by American institutions, two by British institutions, and three by individuals). These were printed on paper on the night of July 4th by printer John Dunlap from a document sent by the Continental Congress. The original was written on parchment. There is one line of text along the bottom edge on the back of the copies of the Declaration of Independence. It reads, “Original Declaration of Independence dated 4th July 1776,” This docket (identifying label) was visible when the document was rolled up for storage.

When Bonds Become Money

QUESTION: You said the “crash is in the debt markets”. Can you please explain how that will evolve?

ANSWER: Once upon a time before 1971, there used to be a difference between debt and cash. Government bonds were not acceptable for collateral. You could not borrow against them. You had to liquidate them. This is why they once believed that it was LESS INFLATIONARY to borrow than print. Today, you can buy TBills and post them as collateral to trade futures contracts.

When paper money was beginning during the American Civil War, the government issued compound interest currency. In reality, this was merely currency that paid interest. Therefore, they were a hybrid where they were actually bonds that circulated as if they were a currency. We have returned to that whereby TBills are a street name and are good collateral so they have become the equivalent of bearer bonds that merely serve the purpose of currency.
