Lebanon Declares State of Economic Emergency

Lebanon has maintained a peg to the US dollar for about two decades and as all pegs go, this one is under pressure as the rise in the dollar imports deflation. The central bank has declared an economic emergency as it attempts to reassure people it will hold the peg. Lebanon is one of the world’s most indebted nations and it maintains its pound to a peg of around 1,507.5 to the dollar. This attempt to reassure investors about the country’s ability to repay its debt and strengthen its currency is not being considered reliable as the start of Sovereign Defaults is underway on an economic pressure. Countries have been borrowing year after year with no intention of paying off their national debts. It has been a fool’s game and we are starting to see this pressure build as it will FIRST on the currency pegs, and then on the inability to meet debt payments.

COMMENT: Marty; I found my ticket to your Japanese session from March 1999 when you warned the audience the club was targeting the yen for March-end. You told everyone how to defeat their manipulation and that was just great. You saved everyone billions that day. They called you Mr. Yen for that one. The club didn’t appreciate that call. I heard that on the phones. I remember the yen went from 117 to 122. They lost a lot that week.

I am coming to this 2019 WEC. For someone who has been following you for decades, I understand what you mean that this is an event that has never taken place before in modern market history so we will really need Socrates this time.

May I suggest that you give a quick demo on how to use Socrates to its fullest for this event. I think it would be really helpful this year.

Do We Face Global Cooling or an Ice Age?

QUESTION #1: You expect global cooling due to the decrease in solar energy. Why do glaciers melt?

QUESTION #2: Now that the Greenland Glacier is growing, is this part of the shift back toward global cooling? Do you think we are headed to an ice age?

ANSWER: There appears to be a 20-year cycle in the Arctic to begin with. The mere fact that at times the Northwest Passage has been ice-free and ice blocked proves there is a cycle to absolutely everything. The Arctic has not always been frozen. There are documented accounts from 1817 when the ice melted. The point is nature functions in a cyclical manner — hello, remember four seasons?

I do NOT believe we are heading into an “Ice Age” of such a dramatic duration. All the data clearly shows that we are in a declining trend with each warming peak being less than the former. Anyone who thinks humans have caused this last warming period just listens to propaganda and ignores all the historical evidence. There is ABSOLUTELY no period in history absent of a cycle — NONE!!!!

From an objective and unbiased view, yes, we will see a cooling period. However, this will most likely be just a retest of the last low of the Little Ice Age. I would not speculate on an Ice Age coming, just a swing downward in temperature enough to cause us a lot of inconveniences.

The Greenland Glacier is growing again at the edges because the water is colder. That seems to be in line with the downturn in the energy output of the sun since 2015. The global cooling puts food production at risk. Sure, there are those who just refuse to believe this since global warming has become a religion. The herd may be thinned for their propaganda will ensure they are unprepared for food shortages.

Constantly there are stories about how the data has been manipulated and outright forged. Now China’s scientists have come out and warned of global cooling, not warming. These scientists are not reliant on Western government grants and do not need to fix the data to support the global warming agenda.

The problem with the people who refuse to listen is a similar qualification for being the worst investor in history. You can claim you are right all you want, but when the market goes against you and you refuse the look at your assumptions, you end up dead broke. Perhaps literally after jumping from a window. That is the downside to bias. Always consider both sides.

ANSWER: Unfortunately, the book I wrote back in 1986, “The Greatest Bull Market in History,” brings as much as $3,000 on eBay. Paul Tudor Jones had bought a large quantity and distributed them to his clients so that is probably where most have survived. I have only one copy myself. The receiver confiscated all the copies to prevent them from getting out, I believe, at the request of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. I have finished what I regard as perhaps one of the most important books.

There really is an effort to prevent any real analysis that exposes the business cycle and those manipulating markets from the safe haven they have been granted in New York City. Everyone knows that NEVER is a single banker every criminally charged for what they do. Even Steve Bannon, the former adviser to Trump who did work at Goldman Sachs, has called the failure to ever prosecute a single person in New York just outrageous. This has tarnished the reputation of the American legal system and acted as a major warning sign that you better count your fingers and toes after doing any deal in New York City. It has taken three foreign governments to go after Goldman Sachs on the Malaysian deal. New York will never investigate the entity and behind the curtain, it is known as Government Sachs.

I am also finishing for the WEC “How do Empires, Nations & City-States Fall – The Dark Age Cycle.” This will be the first time I release the “Dark Age Cycle,” which has been back-tested to 6,000 BC. I have provided the reconstruction of the world monetary system for the first time in an effort to demonstrate how I have used coinage to document history. My research also allows me to answer vital questions of how empire, nations, and city-states actually fall and how rapidly this type of move unfolds.

I have also undertaken the study of the emergence of Dark Ages and compiled the checklist that distinguishes a shift in political orientation from a collapse in civilization itself where it takes a reboot to start all over again.

To produce “The Forecaster,” it was funded by German TV. They gave the Receiver and the government an opportunity to appear and give their side – they all declined. In order to undertake that film, every allegation against the powers that be had to be proven to Lloyds of London in order to underwrite the insurance for the film against slander or lawsuits. Here is the email from Tancred Schiavoni demanding the source code to Socrates be turned over to the government or they would fire all employees. They used the case as an open door to try to stop all forecasting.

To a large extent, they have proven one fact — we were never part of the swamp in New York City. Suddenly more institutions, after getting their finger burned by the New York Bankers, have turned to us knowing that we are the alternative. Even Nigel Farage at the Rome WEC referred to us as the “Alternative to Davos.” I am just sick and tired of the corruption that has placed the entire world economy at risk. The Malaysian 1MBD scandal is just one that is finally being charged criminally, but the US will never defend the people or the economy against the bankers.

They banned the film the Magnitsky Affair in the USA and the Forecaster has been shown on TV in Europe, Asia, and even in Canada – but not the United States. Why? If it is just conspiracy talk, that they allowed being aired. But when it exposes that the USA under the Clinton Administration tried to interfere into the Russian elections back in 2000, that they will not allow being reported in the land of the free and home of the brave bureaucrat who suspends free speech.

It’s been 103 Days – Where Are Rosenstein’s Scope Memos to Robert Mueller?…

On May 23rd, 2019, President Donald Trump gave U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr full authority to review and release all of the classified material hidden by the DOJ, FBI, State Department, CIA, FISA Court, and aggregate intelligence apparatus; 103 days ago.

It has been 103 days since President Trump empowered AG Bill Barr to release the original authorizing framework of the Mueller investigation which began on May 17, 2017. A Mueller investigation that concluded six months ago, and yet we are not allowed to know what the authorizing framework was?…. Nor the 2nd DOJ scope memo of August 2nd, 2017?… Nor the 3rd DOJ scope memo of October 20th, 2017?….

The released Weissmann/Mueller report showed there were two additional scope memos authorizing specific targeting of the Mueller probe.  The first scope memo was August 2nd, 2017, OUTLINED HERE, and is an important part of the puzzle that helps explain the corrupt original purpose of the special counsel. The second scope memo was issued by Rod Rosenstein to Robert Mueller on October 20th, 2017.  The transparent intent of the second scope memo was to provide Weissmann and Mueller with ammunition and authority to investigate specific targets, for specific purposes.  One of those targets was General Michael Flynn’s son, Michael Flynn Jr.

As you review the highlighted portion below, found on pages 12 and 13 of the Weissmann report, read slowly and fully absorb the intent; the corruption is blood-boiling:

This second scope memo allowed Weissmann and Mueller to target tangentially related persons and entities bringing in Michael Cohen, Richard Gates, Roger Stone and Michael Flynn Jr.  Additionally and strategically (you’ll see why), this memo established the authority to pursue “jointly undertaken activity“.

With Paul Manafort outlined as an investigative target in the original authorization and the first scope memo, the second scope memo authorizes expansion to his business partner Richard Gates and their joint businesses.   This memo also permits the investigation of Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen and all of his interests; and in ultimate weasel sunlight, Rosenstein authorizes an investigation of his boss, AG Jeff Sessions.

Before getting to more targets, notice the underlined passage about starting with a lot of investigative material because the special counsel was picking up a Russian interference  investigation that had been ongoing for “nearly 10 months.”

I would also note that our CTH research indicates all of the illegally extracted FISA-702(16)(17) database search results would be part of this pre-existing investigative file available immediately to Weissmann and Mueller.  However, in order to use the search-query evidence, Weissmann and Mueller would need to backfill some alternate justification; or find another way to “rediscover” the preexisting results….. I digress

The four identified targets within the original July 2016 investigation, “Operation Crossfire Hurricane”, were George Papadopoulos, Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort and Carter Page. (See HPSCI report):

General Flynn was under investigation from the outset in mid-2016. The fraudulent FBI counterintelligence operation, established by CIA Director John Brennan, had Flynn as one of the early targets when Brennan handed the originating electronic communication “EC” to FBI Director James Comey.

The investigation of General Flynn never stopped throughout 2016 and led to the second investigative issue of his phone call with Russian Ambassador Kislyak in December 2016:

Back to the Page #12 October 20th Scope Memo:

The first redaction listed under “personal privacy” is unconfirmed; however, the second related redaction is a specific person, Michael Flynn Jr.

In combination with the October timing, the addition of Flynn Jr to the target list relates to the ongoing 2016/2017 investigation of his father, General Michael Flynn, for: (1) possible conspiracy with a foreign government; (2) unregistered lobbying; (3) materially false statements and omissions on 2017 FARA documents; and (4) lying to the FBI.

This October 20th, 2017, request from Weissmann and Mueller aligns with the time-frame were special counsel team lawyers Brandon L. Van Grack and Zainab N. Ahmad were prosecuting Michael Flynn and attempting to force him into a guilty plea. 

Getting Rosenstein to authorize adding Mike Flynn Jr. to the target list (scope memo) meant the special counsel could threaten General Flynn with the indictment of his son as a co-conspirator tied to the Turkish lobbying issue (which they did) if he doesn’t agree to a plea. Remember: “jointly undertaken activity“.

The October 20th, 2017, expanded scope memo authorized Mueller to start demanding records, phones, electronic devices and other evidence from Mike Flynn Jr, and provided the leverage Weissmann wanted.  After all, Mike Flynn Jr. had a four month old baby. 

The amount of twisted pressure from this corrupt team of prosecutors is sickening.  A month later, General Flynn was signing a plea agreement:

All of this information backstops the 19-page filing from last week (full pdf below), where Flynn’s attorney Sidney Powell walked through the history of the DOJ, FBI and intelligence apparatus weaponization against Mr. Flynn and lays out the background behind everything known to have happened in 2016, 2017 through today.

From the corrupt DOJ lawyers who were working with Fusion-GPS and Chris Steele, including Mr. Weissmann, Mr. Van Grack and Ms. Zainab Ahmad; to the 2015/2016 FISA database search abuses; to the CIA and FBI operation against Flynn including Nellie Ohr; to the schemes behind the use of DOJ official Bruce Ohr; to the corrupt construct of the special counsels office selections; to the specifics within the malicious conspiracy outlined by hiding FBI interview notes of Mike Flynn,… all of it…. is bolstered by the IG Horowitz report on how the FBI “small group” was manipulating the media, and hiding Comey memos.

Four Bodies Recovered, Four More Bodies Located – 30 People Missing, During Horrific Dive Boat Incident…

During the latest update from California officials, four bodies have been recovered and four more have been located on the floor of the ocean as divers work to recover them,

A total of 30 people are missing after a catastrophic fire aboard a 75-foot chartered dive boat near Santa Cruz Island.  During a press conference Santa Barbara officials reveal  the discovery of four more bodies in addition to the four victims already recovered:

OXNARD, Calif. (Reuters) – Four bodies were recovered on Monday and 30 people were missing after a predawn fire sank a scuba diving boat off a Southern California island, a U.S. Coast Guard spokesman said.

The fire broke out aboard the Conception, a 75-foot (23-meter) boat, at about 3.15 a.m. while it was moored just off the shore of Santa Cruz Island, the Coast Guard said in a statement.

Five crew members aboard escaped the fire while the passengers slept in the ship’s lower quarters.

“The crew was already awake and on the bridge and jumped off,” Coast Guard Captain Monica Rochester told a news conference in Oxnard.  (read more)

It’s impossible to find words to describe what the people in Grand Bahama island must be going through.  More than 24 hours inside a 90-mile wide buzzsaw of sustained  cat-5/cat-4 winds, stationary over a populated island, is beyond comprehension.

Two, perhaps three, complete tide cycles; plus 20 feet of storm surge, plus the catastrophic wind must be completely overwhelming the land mass of the island… A topography changing event.  We pray for those who still have hours left amid this storm.

At 500 PM EDT (2100 UTC), the eye of Hurricane Dorian was located near latitude 26.8 North, longitude 78.4 West. Dorian has become nearly stationary this afternoon. A slow westward to west-northwestward motion is expected to resume overnight and continue into early Tuesday. A turn toward the northwest is forecast by late Tuesday, with a northeastward motion forecast to begin by Wednesday night.

On this track, the core of extremely dangerous Hurricane Dorian will continue to pound Grand Bahama Island into Tuesday morning. The hurricane will then move dangerously close to the Florida east coast late Tuesday through Wednesday evening and then move dangerously close to the Georgia and South Carolina coasts on Wednesday night and Thursday.

An Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft has found that maximum sustained winds are near 145 mph (230 km/h) with higher gusts. Dorian is a category 4 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale. Although gradual weakening is forecast,
Dorian is expected to remain a powerful hurricane during the next couple of days.

Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles (75 km) from the center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 150 miles (240 km). (more)
