Keep in mind…. a more assertive, deliberate, strategic and determined MAGA movement is being noticed everywhere.  There are new combat rules in response to the leftist onslaught toward our children.  Cold anger has turned hot.  Some have called this ‘Dark MAGA‘!

Meanwhile…

Leftist favorite Netflix, is hemorrhaging users and just lost 30% of its value.  Spotify just refused to renew the leftist idols, the Obamas.  The ultra-leftist Disney Corp just lost their special district status in Orlando, and leftist Twitter is on the verge of a hostile ‘free speech’ takeover by Elon Musk.

The political culture wars are raging, Biden’s support amid the American people is collapsing even more, and Dark MAGA is not relenting.  Now this:

CNN spent $300 million to launch a subscriber-based platform that didn’t even survive a month:

CNN+, the streaming service that was hyped as one of the most significant developments in the history of CNN, will shut down on April 30, just one month after it launched. CNN+ customers “will receive prorated refunds of subscription fees,” the company said.”

Florida Senate Passes Bill to Remove Disney Special District Status, House Vote Likely to Approve Thursday

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on April 21, 2022 | Sundance

The multinational Disney corporation decided to target conservative lawmakers in Florida after the legislature passed a bill to stop the sexualization of children K-3 in public schools.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis called for the legislature to consider the removal of Disney World’s special district status in a previously scheduled special session.

Today, the Florida Senate approved a bill to revoke Disney’s ‘special district’ status in the Orlando area.

(Via Wall Street Journal) – The Republican-led Florida Senate passed a bill Wednesday that would eliminate a special tax district that allows Walt Disney Co. to govern the land where its theme parks sit, as lawmakers target the company for opposing legislation restricting classroom instruction on gender and sexuality.

The GOP-led House will likely vote to approve the measure Thursday. Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, who called for lawmakers to consider such a bill in a special session he convened this week, has made clear he would sign it.

Losing the nearly 40-square-mile district near Orlando could be a major blow to Disney’s Florida operations.

[The special district] allows Disney to construct new buildings and expand its parks without having to adhere to state or county regulations related to construction, wastewater management and drainage. It encompasses four theme parks, two water parks, a sports complex and hotels, stores and restaurants. (read more)

City of Detroit Displaces 100,000 Residents After Tax Error

Armstrong economics Blog/Corruption Re-Posted Apr 19, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

Government incompetence caused 100,000 people in the city of Detroit to lose their homes. The city recently admitted that it overtaxed homes by over $600 million between 2010 and 2016, resulting in thousands of foreclosures. In the state of Michigan, property cannot be assessed at over 50% of its market value. Yet, Detroit managed to assess properties at up to 85% of their market value, resulting in over half a billion in illegal taxation.

Neither the state nor the city of Detroit has done anything to compensate the people who were forced out of their homes. Mayor Mike Duggan insists that state law prohibits his administration from helping residents by providing tax credits or cash compensation. Duggan not so generously proposed allocating $6 million in resources to help overtaxed citizens, many of whose lives have been ruined, but that represents only 1% of what the city collected in illegal taxes.

The Coalition for Property Tax Justice is now helping those affected by involving Michigan’s Attorney General. The tax advocacy group believes victims should receive compensation in their preferred manner, but it is alarming that nothing has been done to compensate the people. Why were the properties over-assessed to such an extent for half a decade? How did the city not notice the dramatic uptick in taxes rolling in? It seems that this is deeper than a clerical error.

Hours After Arrest South Carolina Mall Shooter Released on Bail, allowed to Go Home and Work

Earlier today, 22-year-old Jewayne Price was arrested in connection with yesterday’s mass shooting at a busy mall in Columbia, South Carolina. Jewayne Price is accused of shooting nine people leaving 14 people at the mall injured. The victims are ages 15 to 73.

Price was arrested after he was originally questioned as one of three gang related suspects identified as persons of interest in Saturday’s shooting at Columbiana Centre, a busy shopping mall in the state’s capital. A few hours after his arrest, Jewayne Price was released on 25,000 bail.

SOUTH CAROLINA – The suspect in a South Carolina mall shooting in which nine people were wounded has been released under house arrest and ordered to wear an ankle monitor after a judge set a $25,000 surety bond.

The suspect, Jewayne Price, is also barred from contacting any of the victims, Columbia police said on Twitter. Price will be allowed to travel from his home to work while he is under house arrest.  Neither Price nor his attorney could immediately be reached for comment. (read more)

Judge Declines Jail for Two Men Who Impersonated DC Federal Agents

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on April 13, 2022 | Sundance

U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael Harvey (Obama appointee in 2015) declined to hold the two men in jail who are accused of impersonating federal agents in Washington DC. “There’s been no showing that national security information has been compromised,” Harvey said in his decision.

If the DOJ does not appeal the decision, both men, Arian Taherzadeh, (40) and Haider Ali (35), who are also in the United States with expired visas, will be allowed bond.

(Reuters) – […] Harvey ordered both men to remain in home confinement, subject to GPS monitoring, with their parents and that they surrender their passports and stay away from airports and embassies.

[…] The judge said prosecutors did not prove the defendants tried to infiltrate the Secret Service with nefarious purposes, and noted they were so “spectacularly outed” that there is no risk anymore that they can continue to pose as agents.

Harvey said neither defendant is charged with a violent crime and neither one faces a stiff prison term if convicted – all elements that work against the prosecution’s claims they pose a danger to the community. Harvey added there have been “significantly worse and more dangerous impersonation cases” before the court in the past.  (read more)

It was also recently revealed the Secret Service tipped-off the two imposters right before they were about to get arrested.

Suspect Identified in NYC Mass Shooting, Manhunt Underway for 62-Year-Old Frank R James

Police have identified suspect Frank R James (62) as the man who opened fire on a Brooklyn subway train during the early morning rush Tuesday, injuring at least 29 people. According to authorities, ten people were shot when James set off a smoke grenade and opened fire in a subway car.

New York – A 62-year-old man who made bizarre threatening rants on YouTube has been identified as a person of interest in the savage Brooklyn subway attack that injured at least 29 people Tuesday morning, officials said.

Frank James — who warned last month that he was “entering the danger zone” — rented a U-Haul van tied to the N train attack in Sunset Park and is being sought for questioning, police said at an evening briefing.

“Mr. Mayor, I’m a victim of your mental health program,” James said in one lengthy video.

“I’m 63 now full of hate, full of anger, and full of bitterness.” James said he had a diagnosed mental illness and railed against what he called the “horror show” of the city’s mental health services. “What’s going on in that place is violence,” he said about a facility he claimed to receive care from. During an evening press briefing (video below), NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell said among the items recovered by cops at the scene were a 9 mm handgun, a hatchet, gasoline and “consumer-grade fireworks.”

Justice Jackson

Armstrong Economics Blog/Rule of Law Re-Posted Apr 9, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

QUESTION: So what do you think of the Supreme Court nominee?

DA

ANSWER: It is a joke. Biden ruled out everyone other than a black woman, which is in itself racist. This is all propaganda. In NYC, I have watched judges. A black judge will typically impose a harder sentence on someone who is black because they view that they have suffered prejudice because of them and the criminal can never claim racism. I saw a Jewish guy sentenced to an extra two years because the Jewish Judge went to the same school that he disgraced. I saw a black defendant who thought he would be treated fairly because he had an all-black jury. They found him guilty of everything because they do not like the young blacks shooting up their neighborhoods. I seriously doubt Justice Thomas would rule in favor of a black man simply because he was black.

To think that putting a black woman on the court will somehow support black women is just absurd. As I have stated before, just because a Republican president appoints a justice does NOT mean they will always rule in favor of Republicans. Justices do not always vote on Party Lines.

Roberts v Scalia

King v. Burwell upholding Obamacare was a political decision, not law, and it revealed the stark difference between Chief Justice Roberts, appointed by a Republican, and Justice Scalia, who was also appointed by a Republican.

It was Justice Scalia who spoke the truth. He wrote about Roberts’ decisions:

“… this Court’s two decisions on the Act will surely be remembered through the years. The somersaults of statutory interpretation they have performed (‘penalty’ means tax, ‘further [Medicaid] payments to the State’ means only incremental Medicaid payments to the State, ‘established by the State’ means not established by the State) will be cited by litigants endlessly, to the confusion of honest jurisprudence. And the cases will publish forever the discouraging truth that the Supreme Court of the United States favors some laws over others, and is prepared to do whatever it takes to uphold and assist its favorites.”

This is what Biden is shooting for. Not the rule of law, but twisting the Constitution to achieve his progressive agenda to turn the Constitution inside out. This is when we really need Will Smith to slap people in the face to wake up in Washington as they keep moving to destroy everything that made America great. There is now absolutely NO guarantee of how Justice Jackson will rule. I did find it disturbing for her to say she could not define “woman.” If we cannot define that, then can a guy go into the lady’s room and look at girls in there, claiming he identifies as a woman? Where does this ever end? What’s next? A pedophile can claim he identified as a child and was just playing doctor? There are basic norms that have always existed in society and I fear they are going out the window with the baby and the bathwater. I hope she does not rule with this inanity.

House Votes to Legalize Marijuana

Armstrong Economics Blog/Agriculture Re-Posted Apr 5, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

Individual states began legalizing marijuana a few years ago after the 1969 Supreme Court decision led to the Controlled Substance Act of 1970. Now, the House has voted to legalize marijuana on the Federal level despite President Biden’s sudden opposition. This is all linked to the Sovereign Debt Crisis – turn down the economy, and governments will begin to legalize what is illegal to profit.

The Mexican Revolution began in 1910 and ran into about 1920. A large number of Mexicans immigrated to the US to escape the conflict. This Mexican population had its own uses for cannabis, and they referred to it as “marihuana.” The initial marijuana tax was intended to criminally prosecute Mexicans who were widely seen as taking American jobs during the hard times. Fake news stories ran rampant about people becoming crazed by “marihuana” and harming society. Back in 1937, Congress imposed drastic new regulations and taxes on marijuana, cocaine, and opium, which was then legal. The drugs were taxed before legislation changed.

In 1967, President Johnson’s Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of justice opined, “The Act raises an insignificant amount of revenue and exposes an insignificant number of marijuana transactions to public view, since only a handful of people are registered under the Act. It has become, in effect, solely – a criminal law, imposing sanctions upon persons who sell, acquire, or possess marijuana.”

The law certainly caused damage as prisons profited. Some estimates claim that 40,000 people are currently serving time in US prisons and jails for marijuana-related offenses. In 2019, US authorities arrested 350,149 people for possessing marijuana. Biden initially campaigned with a promise to legalize marijuana, citing racism as well since a disproportionate (24%) of those incarcerated for marijuana are black. But like all politicians, Biden is not fully supportive of the Marijuana Opportunity, Reinvestment and Expungement (MORE) Act that passed 220-204.

Legalizing marijuana would be a lucrative venture, as Canada already has witnessed. I mentioned in January that the state of Arizona saw $1.23 billion in sales 11 months after legalizing recreational marijuana. The Marijuana Excise Tax that the state-imposed contributed $92.9 million to community colleges and health departments, while $7.3 million will go toward an education sales tax. Biden wants to continually spend money while destroying any potential to generate revenue.

Collins, Romney and Murkowski All Affirm Their Vote to Support Supreme Court Nomination of Ketanji Brown-Jackson

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on April 4, 2022 | Sundance

I have not written much about the confirmation hearings and pantomime for Ketanji Brown-Jackson to take a Supreme Court seat because, well, the entire plan for her installation was obvious from before Joe Biden took office.   If you want to review the map READ THIS from January 6, 2021.

Once you know how to spot the strings on the DC marionettes, the puppet show becomes predictable.  KBJ was always going to be on the supreme court if Joe Biden was installed as president.

However, that said, in absolute affirmation of their UniParty ideology, the usual suspects have once again shown up to display their positions:

WASHINGTON DC – In a 53-47 vote, the Senate voted to advance Jackson’s nomination out of committee, with Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Mitt Romney (R-Utah) joining all 50 members of the Democratic caucus in supporting Biden’s high court pick. All three of those senators have now said they will support Jackson’s confirmation to the high court. (link)

{BACKGROUND Story HERE – January 6, 2021}

Garland was made AG because he was on the DC Circuit Court.  Pulling Garland into the AG slot removed the block he represented.

It was always about getting the path for KBJ cleared.

KBJ will deliver rulings identical to those – as if Barack Obama was on the SCOTUS.

Lisa Monaco was appointed and confirmed Deputy AG as an insurance policy for the DOJ intent.

DeSantis Defends Vulnerable Children – Groomers are Outraged

Armstrong Economics Blog/Politically Correct Re-Posted Apr 4, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida has signed the Parental Rights in Education Act, which the media refers to as the “don’t say gay act,” despite those words not appearing in the bill. The act will save young children from kindergarten through third grade from being taught about adult sexuality and gender theory. “We will make sure that parents can send their kids to school to get an education, not an indoctrination,” DeSantis said.

While some believe this bill is homophobic, this is the type of curriculum it is aiming to prevent:

Children should not be asked to express or discuss their sexuality. I am not sure why this needs to be stated. The media is outraged, claiming that DeSantis is harming the youth by preventing young impressionable children from discussing alternative families and lifestyles. Even President Joe Biden called the bill “hateful” and stated that his administration would be closely monitoring Florida public schools.

A statement from Disney:

Weeks after it was revealed that over 100 Disney employees were running a human trafficking operation, the company has come out to state that they are opposing the bill. “For them to say that they’re going to actively work to repeal substantive protections for parents as a company that is supposedly marketing its services to parents with young children? I think they crossed a line,” DeSantis stated. “They support sexualizing kids in kindergarten, they support injecting woke gender ideology into second-grade classrooms, they support enabling schools to ‘transition’ students to a ‘different gender’ without the knowledge of the parent, much less without the parent’s consent.” Disney has no problem censoring movies for their conservative Chinese audience and has no problem with their cruise lines sailing to countries that prohibit LGBTQ communities.

As a reminder, tax dollars go towards funding public schools. Unfortunately, the average American cannot afford to send their child to private school. The average cost of private elementary school tuition costs $10,994 per year and the private high school average is $15,535. There is a clear agenda in America to remove gender constructs, with even the next Supreme Court nominee stating she cannot define a “woman.” Why is everyone from the POTUS to major corporations outraged that children cannot be taught about sex? The government wants to take over the parental role. There is something sinister behind the curtain.
