There are a number of factors that do not add up regarding the Maui fires. I am refraining from speculating, but based on the facts, the government allowed people to die. I reported that the fire hydrants were dry and the top official refused to use water reserves. The notification system and sirens mysteriously failed, leaving many clueless as to what was happening. Now it has been reported that the authorities barricaded residents within the fire zone.
Maui Police Chief John Pelletier said that the barricades were intended to prevent residents from coming into contact with over 30 downed power poles. Yet, they prevented the public from accessing Highway 30. Pelletier insists that the barricades were merely a suggestion, but first-hand reports state that people were forbidden to leave. Those who disobeyed and bypassed the barricades narrowly survived.
Another resident by the name Nate Baird was not aware of the fires until his two young sons said they smelled smores. He fled with his family but was told to turn around and go back to Lahaina. He disobeyed and lived. “Nobody realized how little time we really had,” Baird said. “Like even us being from the heart of the fire, we did not comprehend. Like we literally had minutes and one wrong turn. We would all be dead right now.”
What would you do if you were in the car with your family? Would you be obedient to authority or defy the law and save yourself? Stanley Milgram conducted a famous study that showed most people would blindly listen to an authoritative figure. History repeats largely because those in power NEVER consult history before they hand down some decree. This is why the Democrats are allowing the country to be flooded with migrants with ZERO skills and handing them $2200 a month, which is more than many get on Social Security. This is all politics. We must refer to history to see society’s past mistakes and understand what will unfold. The United States’ emerging market was engulfed in a Sovereign State Debt Crisis of the 1839-1844 period because Andrew Jackson wanted to destroy the central bank because his opponents had borrowed from the Bank of the United States. He moved the federal government funds to his “pet” state banks, unleashing what became known as the broken banknote era. Without a central bank, all the individual banks began to issue their own currency. The frauds were enormous. Nobody knew if the banks were solvent or not or where they even existed. Brokers in NYC would buy notes at a discount from questionable one-branch banks and place them into circulation.
The Panic of 1837 began the Sovereign Debt Crisis, unfolding into the Hard Times period. This economic event also destroyed the credit standing of ALL states and the Federal Government. Because people were already suffering from the economic crisis, the immigrants pouring into the United States sparked a real uprising, for they would work for little pay, taking jobs from the Americans. This became the Nativism movement (native American residents), which was anti-immigrant. On top of that, the old English feud between the protestants v. Catholics merely resurfaced in America since the immigrants were Irish Catholics.
The population of Philadelphia more than doubled during the 1840s from 161,410 to 388,721. It spilled beyond the original city limits (from South to Vine Streets between the Delaware and Schuylkill Rivers) in all directions, which put a strain on the city not designed to accommodate such rapid growth. There was also no professional police force in Philadelphia at the time. Previously, during the 1830s, there was also the national abolition movement. Many blacks migrated to Philadelphia, taking jobs from the locals, which was the origin of the Navitism Movement. This manifested in the Pennsylvania State Constitution of 1838, which rescinded the right to vote among the free Blacks. This was not racist; it was sparked by the economic decline and the rising unemployment. The Democrats today intend to give the new migrants the right to vote in 2024 so they can keep Biden in place.
In 1844, the rise of Nativism appeared because of the economic depression taking the form of a political position of demanding a favored status for certain established inhabitants of a nation as compared to claims of newcomers or immigrants. Nativism typically means opposition to immigration and support of efforts to lower the political or legal status of specific ethnic or cultural groups because the groups are considered alien to the natural culture, failing or unable to assimilate, taking employment from native sons.
Then the migration of the Irish Catholics sparked the Nativist/Protestant sentiment to explode in 1844. The Catholics objected to having their children use the Protestant King James Bible in public schools. The Nativist groups spread a false rumor that Catholics were trying to remove the Bible from public schools. The old hatred from the English Civil War rose again. On the evening of Friday, May 3rd, 1844, a Nativist organization called for a meeting in the Kensington district. They reconvened on the following Monday, and this turned violent as gunshots were exchanged and a riot ensued. Nativists converged on the Irish Kensington district over the next three days and burned more than thirty buildings, including a Catholic school and St. Augustine’s Catholic Church at Fourth and Vine Streets.
Order was restored only by the government calling in the military to suppress the riots. As always, once the first blood is drawn, vengeance follows. Again, riots broke out on July 6th and 7th, 1844. It was really about people migrating to Philadelphia during the hard times and rising unemployment. Just with the blacks previously, this was with the Irish, and this too was manifesting in anti-Catholic sentiment at the growing population of Irish Catholics.
Nativist Riots broke out again in July after it was discovered that St. Philip Neri’s Catholic Church in Southwark dared to arm itself for protection against the protestant mobs using religion as an excuse for violence. This time, fierce fighting broke out between the Nativists and the soldiers who were sent in to protect the church. The protestant Nativists attacked the soldiers, and numerous deaths and injuries took place. The violence helped nationally fuel criticism of the Nativist movement, which claimed to be victims. The Nativist Riots also exposed the need for local police rather than troops to maintain order. Eventually, the police department was formed and consolidated in Philadelphia in 1854.
With all the immigration both into Europe and the United States, this Soros theory of an Open Society is purely an academic fantasy. They totally ignore culture, which is the key to understanding that such a mixture undermines the unity of the state. The Civil Unrest that our computer is projecting, especially from 2024 onward, will be accelerated as it was during the 1840s by the economic downtrend from May 7th, 2024, to 2028. When the Democrats grant voting rights to these migrants in 2024, the election results will only add to a massive uprising of civil unrest, and we may yet face a separatist movement on a major scale.

Do you think turning spoofing into manipulation is the death knell of trading as we head into 2032?

ANSWER: Yes, it has been a long time. I don’t know how you trade size anymore. I would not want to trade a major fund in this atmosphere. I probably should explain why Milken and all those charged with insider trading were really innocent. During the Great Depression, insider trading was defined as a director who knew the company would go bankrupt, and he sold his shares BEFORE releasing that information. That is what REAL insider trading indeed was.
The problem with our law is that a prosecutor gets to create a new theory of the law and then charges you, and it can be precisely the opposite of what the law was intended to do. I saw them charge Muslims after 9/11 with money laundering because they paid off one credit card with another. That certainly was not the intent of money laundering. If you have cash now, they will consider it money laundering because you are trying to avoid taxes.
The theory they used against Milken was that, let’s say, you and I intend to take over General Motors. The legal theory was that we defrauded the person reading this from the same OPPORTUNITY to make money. They did not lose anything. They turned inside trading upside down. The various lawyers came to me because I had written about what real inside trading was back in 1986.
Trading has always been just a poker game. When I would call a bank for a quote, they would always try to read what I would do and move the spread in that direction. Sometimes, you have to pretend to be a buyer if you really have the size to sell. If “spoofing” is now manipulation, trading is finished. You cannot call Goldman Sachs and say, gee, I want to sell $1 billion. They will clip you.
John Maynard Keys wrote in 1926 “The End of Laizzez-Faire” which was the piece that argued that the government can MANIPULATE the economy by using interest rates to manage demand. It was the “New Economics” which completely failed. Before he died, he admitted he was wrong and that not even central banks could manipulate the trend of the economy, no less a single market. Paul Volcker, back in 1979, wrote about the failure of Keynesian Economics in his Rediscovery of the Business Cycle. I remember Paul and I had a conversation about that back in 1998.
Even Larry Summers, the father of NEGATIVE interest rates, admitted that economists cannot forecast the future trend of the economy. Absolutely NOBODY can manipulate any market that changes its direction. Yes, locals could gun for stops and move the quotes on the London Fix, so it kicks off the stops. But that does not change the trend. Those who have pushed this theory that the metals are manipulated have been wrong in their analysis. They push this theory that the metals rise with inflation when they have not done so for centuries.
Gold declined for 19 years, from 1980 to 1999, while the national debt kept rising so much for the debt and inflation theories. Gold does NOT rise with inflation – it rises with geopolitical uncertainty. And when we were on a gold standard, gold declined with inflation. Moving to some gold standard will NOT defeat the business cycle and prevent inflation. There is far more to inflation than just the nonsense of the quantity of money. Most of the theories these people push to sell their gold are false, and as a result, they then have to claim that gold has been manipulated to keep it suppressed to cover their ass, for their analysis is biased.
Even the propaganda they put out about the Great Depression is false. Commodities peaked in 1919 with the shortages thanks to World War I. Silver declined and made its low in 1932, with the stock market collapsing from its 1919 high. Then there is the propaganda that gold and the share market are supposed to decline because of Keynesian Economics raising interest rates. Sorry! That is also a myth and fake news, yet they preach that every time. The stocks soared, and they called it the Trump Rally while the Fed kept raising rates. Gold also rose with rising interest rates.

The disgraced Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will reportedly request that the public receives another COVID-19 mRNA booster vaccine this fall. They are mixing in this recommendation with the RSV and flu vaccines to normalize annual shots. A few days prior to the CDC’s announcement the also disgraced World Health Organization (WHO) claimed it found another COVID variant.
BA.2.86 is one of two new trendy COVID variants for next season. The science is pretending that this variant is similar to the Omicron variant from 2021. Nature reported that the new strain has been linked to SIX cases throughout the entire globe. Could you imagine if they looked at other illnesses impacting a total of six people worldwide? Absurd.
Not to be outdone, the Eris subvariant is similar to the XBB.1.5 subvariant. Pfizer, BioNTech, Moderna, and Novavax have all created versions of a vaccine to target this strain that has not even begun to spread. Of course, they will not disclose what is in these vaccines.
Recommended vs required. There are many organizations that still require vaccination and will likely ask people to risk their lives all for Big Pharma profits. If COVID is mutating and we must inject ourselves to stay safe, what’s to say they won’t bring back mask mandates? Well, there are now reports of businesses requiring employees and customers to mask up. For example, Morris Brown College in Atlanta said they need everyone to cover half their face as a “precautionary step” for a virus that has not begun to spread.
Alex Jones recently warned that these restrictions were coming back this fall. Jones said that whistleblowers from both the TSA and Border Patrol have come forth to warn that full-on lockdowns are in the works. The high-level TSA whistleblower said that managers had been informed that masking would resume as early as September. By October, all staff, passengers, and even pilots must wear a mask. The Border Patrol insider said they were told to expect a spike in COVID numbers by mid-October that will push the Biden Administration to reimplement mask mandates. I wonder if it will also force them to reimplement Title 42 to prevent the full-scale invasion at the border. No one seems to care if the hundreds of thousands of illegals have diseases or vaccinations.
Civil unrest is rising, and the elite want us to stay out of sight. The mail-in ballot option helped Biden secure the election. Once these people get a taste of full authoritarian power, they crave it consistently. They will try to take our rights away again under the guise of COVID. The question remains: will the people obey?
It could not be any more evident that the Biden Administration is allowing a full-scale invasion of the US from the southern border. Trump asked for around $4 billion to secure the US-Mexico border wall, a small fraction of what the US is now spending on maintaining the countless illegal aliens. New York alone estimates they will need $12 billion over the next three years. These people who entered America illegally cannot work, pay taxes, or contribute to our society in any meaningful way. Their only means of survival are government handouts. There is a reason that there was a PROCESS for legal immigration that those who desired a better future with a path to citizenship. Now you can be poor or a criminal on the run and decide to seek asylum in Biden’s America. All of the politicians who champion sending hundreds of billion to secure Ukraine’s border voted against securing the US border. Their concern was not money. It is now clear that there is no plan to solve the migrant crisis because it was a deliberate and calculated invasion promoted by the US government.
Online auction house GovPlanet, specializing in military equipment, announced that it had sold 81 lots of steel “square structural tubes” that were intended to secure the border wall. The NY Post reported that GovPlanet sold that “surplus” for $2 million. Then they sold 729 of those beams for a mere $212 per piece. They are losing money by selling these items for pennies on the dollar, but time is of the essence for Biden as Republicans are proposing new legislation to reimplement the project. Biden wants to ensure that the wall is never constructed and has decided to throw away millions in supplies to keep the border open to everyone and anyone.
All of these supplies were purchased with US taxpayers’ dollars. Trump was mocked relentlessly for requesting a few billion to prevent this absolute madness. Republicans are now proposing the Finish It Act to ensure the government uses the $300 million of remaining construction material to secure the wall. Biden halted construction on his first day in office when he was instructed to undo every barrier to the Build Back Better agenda. He appointed Kamala Harris as the border tzar and she never bothered to visit because it was of no concern. They knew the plan — open the borders and let masses of people utterly dependent on the government in AND allow them to vote so they can keep their free meal tickets coming. This is absolute treasonous behavior; our own president is encouraging a mass invasion on American soil. Yes, our very president is hell-bent on destroying the country in any way possible.

It had to go through Niger the same, and the one from Qatar had to go through Syra.

Instead of creating world peace, and there would be this huge “peace dividend” when Russia fell, that was all undermined by the Neocons. Still, our computer was warning he would probably lose since our geopolitical models showed it could not be Trump starting wars. We will not even make it to the November 2024 elections. This corruption will lead to a turn in the entire world economy post-May 7/8th, 2024. The 2020 election took place on November 3rd, 2020 (2020.841).
Our Rubicon Moment currently may very well be 2023.981 – December 24th. Julius Caesar struck his Rubicon Coinage with the image of an elephant crushing a dragon-headed snake representing the corrupt Senate. However, this is also an incredible opportunity. Our present form of republican governments worldwide that pretend we live in a democracy is coming to an end. It is time to begin thinking about what form of new government we created and, just for once, realize that handing power to anyone corrupts their very soul. There MUST be term limits, and any sort of social manipulation can NEVER be allowed. Rome had peace for 1,000 years, NOT because it was one government, but because everyone benefited. Each province was able to sell its goods throughout the empire. There were no trade barriers or attempts to manipulate society for some fictional equality.
FREE TRADE created peace. When everyone benefits from free trade, there is no war. When Russia could sell into the US economy, as did China, it benefits their people who do not want their livelihoods disrupted. When we put on sanctions thinking it will cause the people to rise up and overthrow their government, they are not stupid. They know it is NOT their government – it is the United States and Europe who have become the new dictators of the world. This parody of the sanction has a point. By shutting down world trade, we encourage international war.

He was installed by the West and the Oligarchs to wage war and fill their pockets with dollars. Zelensky and his wife visited Sweden today and our prime minister Ulf Kristersson announced the biggest economic support package in our history to a single country going to Ukraine. But it was not enough for Mr Zelensky. He kept asking for our fighter jets JAS Gripen. He just keep on begging for more and more for every country he visits.
They also announced that the swedish battle tank CV 90 are to be manufactured in Ukraine now!
And Mrs Zelenska visited a rehabilitation centre here in Stockholm for Ukrainians injured in the war. And Zelenska talked about how Ukraine needs to be handicap accessible because they are counting on 3-5 million war veterans after this!

COMMENT #4: Martin I think you will find this story interesting. The other morning I was at the gym. Each day there is a group of Russians, and a couple of Ukrainians that work out. They are all approximately in their late 50’s to 60’s. They do their respective workouts, but they always talk amongst each other. The conversation with this group is always cordial. I know there can be hatred between the two, but I think we all know there are exceptions to everything. I think most people respect each other and leave it at that. I was nearby when for whatever reason they started talking about the war in English. The conversation was primarily about each other’s respective family members. They wanted to know if a parent, sibling, or cousin was doing fine along with any fresh news from the old country. One happened to mention a family member that was trying to leave. Either way, the conversation was going along fine when all of a sudden an American, whom I think is in his late 70s chimed in. He started out by providing his take on the situation which was mainly what is repeated on TV here. “I heard no one can get in or out of Ukraine because the government won’t let them and the Russians won’t either.” While I’m not sure where he possibly heard that their entire group shot back that wasn’t true citing the many people that fled here, Germany, and even Russia itself. They mentioned it was true many people left illegally if they could not navigate the government rules, but most people try going through the proper channels first. The group unanimously expressed it’s very difficult for the men to leave Ukraine which I think is obvious. Personally, I have a few friends with Ukranian family members that have fled here this past year so I know it’s possible. I also found out they get quite the care package brimming with preloaded debit cards, healthcare access, phones, and more. The migrants from the south get the same treatment too. But back to their conversation. One of the Russians chimed in by saying “Of course if you know the right people and have money you get anywhere you want. That’s universal and even applies in America” The whole group started laughing. That agitated the American a bit. So he tried changing the conversation direction slightly. He started to spew the standard pro-Zelensky, Russia is the aggressor, and Russia is on the ropes line. Then went into why Ukraine needs more weapons because Russia started the whole thing. Pretty much everything you would expect to be said by an American watching the nightly mainstream news. Well, the conversation went from smoldering to a rager. The Ukrainians AND the Russians all started shouting at him in disagreement over everything he said. In essence, they told him most of what he stated is not the entire story, or in some cases false. A comment that stuck out to me, which also made me laugh, came from the quietest in their group. “Don’t believe what you hear on CNN or Yahoo. It’s all BS. When you live through Communism you must learn how to read between the lines. You Americans haven’t lived through that long enough yet so you don’t know how to figure out what is really being said. You have that[communism] starting here and don’t even know it” Each one nodded in agreement. The American became defensive and told them they were full of it. He shook his head and waved his hands at them in disagreement. Not for a second did he ponder if there was any validity to their claim, nor did he seem interested in researching it further. The conversation essentially ended shortly after that. I know most of this is old news to you. Thanks for everything you do.

Comments on West Kelowna do happen to come from a BC Provincial Minister though who finally tells us what Al Jazeera mentioned last night.
Evacuations, both mandatory and “have your bag ready to go soon” rose to 70,000+. This close the Fort MacMurray disaster some years back.
How is it that these overseas outlets know more than Canadian ones??

COMMENT #6: Hello Martin, With the fourth indictment against Trump it appears that Fulton County is going to actually go through with making Trump take a mug shot as opposed to how the other jurisdictions have handled it by simply booking him without the mugshot. Do you think this could backfire politically? Obviously there are plenty of people who hate Trump and would love to see a mugshot of him but to me this seems like a mistake. Martin Luther King’s mugshot from the Birmingham jail didn’t hurt his cause like the segregationists thought it would, instead it made King more sympathetic to a wider audience. Could the same happen here? Might they be overplaying their hand? From Trump’s perspective there is a lot of good marketing and promotional material that could come of this. He could sell shirts with his mugshot and below it could say: “Wanted: For President in 2024” All the best from East Texas, Greg
COMMENT #7: You said – “The economy was strong before they attempted to BUILD BACK BETTER.” … and yet, that seems to be EXACTLY what’s going on in Maui right now. Funny how Maui was already tagged as a planned Smart City precinct by Klaus Schwab and Smeagol Harari and friends at the WEF. Not unlike the unprecedented floods and fires around and through the town of Lismore, NSW Australia, which happens to lie on a planned WEF Smart City corridor. And now the NSW government is hellbent on buying up ALL the property and getting those unwashed masses off of that land corridor. Who would have thought? If it’s any consolation, you’re preaching to the converted on this subject. Not that knowing what’s going on seems to be making any difference – seems to me the Fat Lady needs to get her fat butt out of the dressing room and start exercising her fat vocal chords. COMMENT #8: As a lawyer, I can definitely see you have specialized in constitutional law. We spend little time on that in school. We focus on statutory law. Your father would have been proud of your legal mind. A former staff member told me you have studied the laws of Asia and Europe in order to advise multinational companies. I think that shows in your writing.
