Inside Every Liberal is a Totalitarian Screaming To Get Out

The winner of a essay contest, N. A. Halkides, wrote a piece which is actually very on point. I have written before saying essentially the same position that those on the right seek liberty and justice for all because their greatest dream is to be free and left alone to pursue this gift of life. The left, is where revolutions emerge because they are never satisfied with the world and always want to be like the thief who breaks into you home to take what they want for themselves. Halkides explained like this:

The Progressive believes in precisely two things:  his own magnificence and the constructive power of brute force.  In combination, they lead him naturally from the role of pestiferous busybody to brutal dictator.  Where the productive man dreams of the things he might create if only left alone by his fellows, the Progressive dreams of the world he could create if only the lives and property of his fellows were at his disposal.  The roots of his pathology lie in that oldest and most destructive of all human vices, the desire for the power to rule over other men.

To give someone something to help them when they really need it actually makes you feel good inside. To be forced to turnover assets so someone else can claim to be charitable is not charity by any means – it is extortion. Even Hillary on the campaign trail remarked that Trump was worth several billions. “Think what we could do with that!” she exclaimed. It is always violating the Tenth Commandment – Thous shall not covert anything belonging to someone else. It seems God understood the totalitarian hiding inside every leftist and made it a violation of his 10 Commandments.

Panic Cycles are Different From Volatility

QUESTION: Mr. Armstrong; You model called for a Panic Cycle on the 8th and Directional Change in the Dow. Then a rise in volatility starting the 9th, So the difference is the Panic Cycle was an outside reversal and then the direction change cemented that as the high. The volatility then kicks in which the break. I have that all correct? This is just amazing how you pick the day of the high every time. But you can pick these wild days and then forecast volatility as well. This is far beyond anything out there.

Definitely see you in Orlando.

PD

ANSWER: Yes, that is correct. Panic Cycles are either a big move in one direct, or they are outside reversals that exceed and penetrate the previous low. That is distinguished from the three main types of volatility.

Is Australian Government – Crossing the Line into a Totalitarian State

Behind the Curtain, there seems to be no government going completely nuts more so than Australia. They are doubling taxes on all foreigners who own property, which is a violation of international law, and then they made it a crime for a foreign to even buy a house undisclosed. On top of all of this insanity, that they are planning to strip consumers of their legal protections if they pay in cash and fail to get a receipt. If an Australian pays for anything in cash, they suspect he is hiding money.

This outrageous proposal is clearly exposing the Australian government as a leftist goose-stepping authoritarian regime going complete insane hunting Australians for taxes. They are even following children to school and then check the school as to how they are being paid. This is real Hitler stuff. That is why the Swiss created number accounts because he made it illegal for a German to have any account outside of Germany.

This anti-free society the Australian government is establishing is just off the charts. They set up a Black Economy Taskforce to hunt down their own citizens. This is becoming very dangerous. Can you imagine a government staking your children? This gestapo agency is indeed spying on its own citizens in every aspect just as did the NAZI government in Germany. They have put forth 35 recommendations contained in the interim report where they are arguing the need for “consumer-focused action” to crack down on cash payments.

The Black Economy Taskforce has turned its attention from the businesses to  consumers they now say are “part of the problem” adding that “[w]e intend to examine the merits of consumer focused sanctions, including the loss of consumer protections, warranties and legal rights for people who make cash payments without obtaining a valid receipt,” They are out to change the entire culture of Australia because the government refuses to see itself as the spendthrift causing the entire problem. They wrote: “This is not simply of matter of imposing new penalties, but part of a wider cultural change agenda.”

They are looking to impose penalties if a consumer pays cash and FAILS to get a receipt so they can end the underground economy. They are expecting to change the culture by forcing consumers to ask for a fiscal receipts when paying cash for anything.

Obviously, Australia is hunting its own people as if this were a fox hunt. Those who are looking to adopt children should consider adopting from Australia to save them from a government that is going down the path of a totalitarian regime

The Monetary Crisis Cycle Comes in Two Flavors

QUESTION: Mr. Armstrong; I attended the Paris conference of the BIS when you were the keynote speaker. You delivered a forecast that was probably too far ahead for its time. You said the euro would go through and it would first drop but then peak with deflation in 2008 after the markets crash from 2007. You elaborated saying currency rises during a crash when people run to cash. You also said the euro would then decline for 13 years into 2021 before a new system will emerge.

That stuck in my mind and I watched it fall then rally into 2008 and the crash of 2007 you forecast some 10 years in advance. My question is simply this. You said, if I remember correctly, that the dollar would soar thereafter and we would see another monetary crisis as we did in 1985. Is this your Monetary Crisis Cycle you will reveal in Orlando?

I, and a few others from that conference, have bought tickets. I hope to shake your hand this time for a job well done for they would not have tried to stop you forecasting if you were like everyone else who are usually wrong.

All the best

HJW

ANSWER: Oh yes. I remember that event. I sat at the head table with all the central banks of Europe and the French host was upset how the table began speaking English because it was the one language everyone knew. He was so pleased when I ordered my meal in French.

To answer your question, the Monetary Crisis Cycle has two phases. There is a short series and a long series. These are frequencies that result in major upheavals in the world monetary system but each results in a slightly different outcome and we are converging between the two. They have brought governments to their knees. This is the culmination of fiscal mismanagement since World War II as we prepare and go through the pains of labor before a new system emerges.

All of these things are connected. This is the most hated bull market in history. April 2017 was 97 months from the start which was the length of the bull market into 1929. After 97 months, the majority were bearish not bullish. Only now are retail investors starting to come back. I have warned that threshold was 23,000 on the Dow. We can see that happening right now.

Our forecast back in 1985 that the 2016 election in the States would be the first time a third party could rise was on point. Trump effectively pulled off a coup and took over the Republican Party. The elites didn’t get it and said all these people voting Republican for Trump were not “real” Republicans. They are too corrupt to see that they are indeed the problem and it is not Trump as a personality that won, it was part of the birthing process that we are in before a new system emerges. The old elites will be dead soon and a new age is dawning. Yet they will not go quietly into that light – they will rage against the coming of the light as they say. I have warned that the start of the Private Wave in 1985 meant that confidence would shift away from government and this would be one day seen as the Crisis in Democracy wave.

Zogby Analytics Poll – Trump Approval Climbing Simultaneous To Main Street Economic Gains…

Zogby Analytics is out with a new survey of 1,300 “Likely Voters” and shows President Trump’s approval numbers are climbing and now around 45%.  However, the interesting aspect of the survey is the groups showing the highest gains in approval.

It won’t surprise you to discover the strongest gains in support for President Trump can be found amid the middle-class and working population of the U.S.  Those who are benefiting the most from Trump’s America-First Main Street economic policy are the constituent group with the largest gains in support.

Highlights:

♦Trump’s approval numbers have moved up slightly, especially among his base and a few other sub-groups not known for their support of the president.

♦When it comes to party, President Trump’s numbers are steady among Republican likely voters; he has a 76% approval/22% disapproval rating among Republicans, which is almost identical from our July poll. Among Independents, Trumps numbers have improved nearly seven points to 40% approval/50% disapproval. The president’s numbers are still down among Independents from a few months ago.

♦Trump’s numbers improved with Asian American voters surveyed; Trump’s approval stands at 43% approve and 55% who disapprove.

♦Trump saw one the biggest improvements among any sub-group with Hispanics; his approval increased 11% to 42% approval versus 55% who disapprove of Trump’s job as president.

♦When it comes to where voters live, large city voters-population >100k (39% approve/58% disapprove) and small city voters (44% approve/51% disapprove) are more likely to disapprove of President Trump. Small City voters (population less than 100k) were the largest increase in approval for Trum among sub-groups, with a 12% gain in approval since July. Trump does slightly better in the suburbs–47% approve/48% disapprove and he remains popular in the rural areas with 50% approve/44% disapprove.

♦Trump also continues to get higher marks among married voters-53% approve/43% disapprove versus single voters-31%approve/61% disapprove; homeowners-50% approve/47% disapprove versus renters-35% approve/59% disapprove, while NASCAR fans-58% approve/37% disapprove and Weekly Walmart shoppers-55% approve/43% disapprove.

♦Trump’s numbers also increased significantly among union voters from 43% approval to 51% approval in August. (full poll link)

These results don’t look good for the Democrat opposition party who see the largest part of their historic constituency benefiting immensely from President Trump.  It is no wonder the DNC and Democrat Leadership are now trying to steal President Trump’s middle-class economic platform.

Funny that…

What’s a good Vichy Republican to do?…

Gordon Chang: President Trump “Fire and Fury” Comments Intended for China Not North Korea…

Apparently CTH and Asian expert Gordon Chang are on the same intellectual page in analysis of the ongoing North Korea issues.  In this interview Mr. Chang outlines the dynamic between U.S. President Trump, North Korean President Kim Yong-un and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Gordon Chang also agrees that mounting economic pressure on China will be the pathway to getting the DPRK into line.

.

The North Korean commentariat today has all been centered around a “response” to a precipitous strike by the United States. As previously outlined by Secretary Tillerson, via the “four no’s”, and backed up by the entire U.S. policy team, there is no intent on the U.S. to initiate a North Korean regime change. That leverage approach is China’s to utilize; while we hold China accountable.

Tillerson Deputy Attempts To Lower State Department Employee Anxiety…

When we initially read this article yesterday our review began with an earnest and sincere effort to understand the concerns amid the career bureaucrats in the U.S. State Department; and also to understand the overall cultural climate that would need Secretary Tillerson’s Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan to spend an inordinate amount of time trying to calm these officials….

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The No. 2 U.S. diplomat on Tuesday sought to allay concerns among the State Department’s rank-and-file employees over possible layoffs and perceptions of a lack of firm direction under the administration of President Donald Trump. (more)

…After all, this has to be about the eleventyth time either Secretary Tillerson or Deputy Sullivan has addressed these ‘climate assessment’ issues. It was less than a week prior to this latest effort by Sullivan when Tillerson himself was talking to the department.

I mean seriously, how much “talking to‘ could one organization need? These are obviously some seriously needy people. Then again, we’ve long discussed the overall liberal perspectives within the department; so the most entrenched liberalism inside government is definitively inside the Department of State.

These are, as we have always accepted, generational and career liberals.

The State Department is the furthest left of an entire governmental enterprise that is based on upward personnel evaluations the further an individual moves left ideologically.

To encapsulate, the article within Reuters winds through layers of internal employee concerns and ends with the following paragraph:

[…] In response to a question from an employee about State Department efforts for gay and lesbian couples posted abroad, Sullivan told employees he would do everything he can to make sure everyone is treated fairly, a remark that drew strong applause, one of the officials said. (link)

Nevermind.

Just close the entire department and start over.

It’s hopeless.

I cannot fathom the level of patience Secretary Rex Tillerson must possess to come from a private sector based on excellence and accountability, and yet work within such a dysfunctional snowflake culture of mediocrity and blame-casting.

Job

O Canada, Paved

By Tabitha Korol

The cover of the August 2017 issue of Rolling Stone magazine displays the image of Justin Trudeau, and the first headline, “Justin Trudeau, Why Can’t He Be Our President?”  Aside from his not being an American, the American people have finally elected to withdraw from their detrimental socialism and return to our Constitutional Republic.  Unfortunately, Canadians have reversed their course toward a more intense socialism.

Trudeau promised real change, the same vague promise made by then-candidate President Obama in 2008.  To reflect his multiculturalism, Trudeau chose a cabinet of thirty, based not on competence, but on gender, ethnicity, and disabilities, yet there appears to be not one observant Jew among them to handle the antisemitism in schools and media and to represent the one percent Jewish population most victimized by hate crimes in an increasingly dangerous Canada. He pledged to legalize recreational marijuana, and to change the electoral system, except that he finds this to be unnecessary now that the very process got him elected.

A globalist, Trudeau promised to welcome 25,000 more Syrian refugees in 2016, without vetting facilities, compared to the 10,000 accepted by the Conservatives. Interestingly, immediately following the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris, he accepted 33,200 refugees, a number that soon became 46,700, representing the same belief system and increasing violence to that one percent and more. I am reminded of the song, “They paved Paradise and put up a parking lot.”

Canadian-born, then-15-year-old Omar Khadr, had been taken by his father to join Al Qaeda.  Captured at 16, he pled guilty to planting ten landmines and murdering an American soldier by throwing a grenade at Sgt. First Class Christopher Speer, in a 2002 firefight in Afghanistan. US Sgt. Layne Morris was also severely wounded by the explosion and blinded in one eye. Convicted, and after serving eight of his 40-year-sentence in Guantanamo, the 24-year-old Khadr was released to Canada where he would spend the remainder of his sentence.

Despite his being dropped into a war zone by his own father, however, he sued the Canadian government for breaching his rights (as a minor) under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and received $10.5 million and an apology from the Canadian government. Years before, Omar’s father had been arrested and imprisoned for being an Al Qaeda financier in the jihad bombing of the Egyptian embassy in Pakistan, and his mother wanted to raise her six children outside of Canada, away from Western social influences. This is just one of many unvetted families who have emigrated to the west. Trudeau has indeed brought change. Instead of this family’s paying for their crimes, they are receiving payment for their crimes. Inviting and rewarding terrorism has resulted in increased crime against Canada’s Jewish citizens and will ultimately affect all infidels.

Honor killings are on the rise in Canada, sanctioned by sharia, blamed on the challenging process of integration but never experienced with previous immigrants.  They include a 16-year-old daughter of Pakistanis who was killed for wanting to wear western clothes and get a part-time job, like her peers; a 19-year-old daughter whose crime was to stay out all night; a first-wife and three daughters found drowned in their vehicle in a canal, and 13 other such cases under investigation.

The results of Trudeau’s tenure in office thus far range from disappointing to disconcerting. Unable to cap Canada’s budget deficit at $30 billion over three years as expected, after a year in office, Trudeau blames the previous administration for weak economic growth. Considering Trump’s roaring economic growth within his first six months, Trudeau’s excuse is feeble. And, rather than keep his promise to help to defeat ISIS, he has promised humanitarian support for Iraqis and Syrians.

Rolling Stone magazine also bore the headline, “How the Trump administration is destroying the EPA.”  The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is an agency of the U.S. federal government, which was created to protect human health and the environment by enforcing regulations based on laws passed by Congress. Created in 1970, this bureaucracy had burgeoned, by 2016, to 15,376 full-time employees, with a budget of $8.1 billion. The Trump administration proposed a 31% budget cut to $5.7 billion and to eliminate a fourth of the agency jobs. This is improvement, not destruction.

The EPA’s increased jurisdiction has encroached on private property, making it more difficult for farmers, ranchers, those in agriculture and homebuilding to meet stringent water supply regulations. The US Chamber of Commerce, National Federation of Independent Business, The American Farm Bureau Federation and others filed a lawsuit to stop the EPA, which uses the pressure of social media for covert propaganda for their own purposes, violating laws and increasing prices of produce. Farmers depend on a fair regulatory system that protects the environment and does not force them to raise strangling prices on consumers.

As Mark Levin explained, “The EPA is destroying the middle class; it’s destroying working people in this country; it’s destroying coal miners; it’s destroying oil jobs; it’s destroying trucking jobs. The EPA is destroying our smokestack industries. The EPA is doing more damage to our economy and hardworking men and women in this country than any country in the world. The environmental movement is a communist movement.”

Complying with EPA regulations costs the U.S. economy $353 billion per year — more than 30 times its budget, more than Denmark’s entire national GDP in 2011. The annual cost of the global warming industry is, conservatively, $1.5 trillion, enough to reduce our taxes and national debt – for the “possibility” of reducing our temperature by 0.048°C (0.086°F) by the end of the century, the same temperature reduction one experiences traveling down an elevator.

By shrinking its budget to two-thirds, its workforce to one-fifth, and limiting its regulatory powers, Trump is redefining and narrowing the EPA’s focus to its original purpose of 1970, to improve our water and air while also cultivating job growth.  Superfund sites (land previously used for chemical dumps) will fall under the purview of the states, rather than further drain the federal budget.

Canada’s healthcare, to paraphrase Hillary, “leaves no citizen behind,” but this most expensive system in the world cannot meet the public’s needs. Although Canada’s Universal healthcare is excellent once the person is in the system, the key words are “in the system,” and it’s not always “universal,” with wealthier provinces better funded than others. It is true that their efficiency channels the funds more to care than to administration, but patients are assessed in terms of “outcome” and what is acceptable to the voters. This is reminiscent of Sarah Palin’s warning of death panels, where the medical boards evaluate the person’s age and quality of life before deigning to provide costly medication and therapy.

Because of the many limitations, professionals cannot focus on prevention, not always seeing the patients until they reach the acute and chronic-care stages. The restrictions on government funding also result in long waiting lists (sometimes many months) to access services, so that those who can, go to the United States for their care and treatments. Mental illness and drug therapies for injury and disease fall largely outside the public system. This is the “single payer system” where Obamacare was heading, and which President Trump hopes to replace.

Humor is our way of dealing with the incongruous: “Americans can’t enact Canadian-style healthcare or where would the Canadians go when they need a doctor?” and “If you think healthcare is expensive now, just wait until it’s free.”

So, M. Trudeau, we don’t want your socialism here and, in sincere affection and friendship, we wish the Canadians another Stephen Harper before the song “They Paved Paradise” becomes Canada’s experience, “you don’t know what you’ve got ‘til it’s gone.”

Germany Government Trying to Cover-up Continuing Refugee Crisis Before Election

It should come as no surprise that the Merkel government has been trying to hide the extent of the ongoing refugee crisis in Germany. The Merkel government appears to be trying to keep police surveillance of border controls top secret. Despite the fact that Merkel did close the Balkan route into Germany, the federal police continue to report there is a “high number of migrants” entering Germany through the border with Austria. The migration to Germany is continuing. Back in 2015, Merkel boldly said Germany could accommodate 500,000 migrants annually for the next several years, and that $6.6 billion had been set aside for costs related to processing and accommodating them. Germany and Sweden give the refugees the most money for just coming there. Refugees in Germany receive up to €346 per month from the state, in Sweden, the monthly allowance is up to €224. In Britain, the equivalent sum is €217. This is why Germany is the number one destination. This is money to them that was often a one-year’s wage in a single month plus room and board.

The German Federal Police’s internal final report on border controls submitted to the G-20 summit in Hamburg revealed the truth. Accordingly, between June 12 and July 10, 2017, the federal police found 6,125 violations of illegal entry into Germany, and 812 drug-related injuries. In addition, 782 arrest warrants were executed during this period. Quoting from the report which has been leaked:

“These results alone are indicative of the added value of the temporary reintroduction of border controls at the German internal borders,” the report said. They represented a “considerable safety gain”. The high number of arrest warrants made it clear “the need for national investigation and control measures”. The Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere (CDU) of the Merkel government ordered that the report should not be published. The Merkel government has tried to hide the refugee crisis ahead of the election. Politicians will just be politicians no matter what country we are talking about and no matter if we look at the left or the right.
