Narrative Fail – CNN Poll Shows Democrat Generic Ballot Advantage Disappeared – Porn Stars Ain’t Selling Like They Used To…

Unfortunately for CNN’s narrative engineers, it’s back to the drawing board ahead of the 2018 mid-term elections.  Russia, Russia, Russia and Porn-Stars, Porn-Stars, Porn-Stars just ain’t selling no more…  If only Comrade Stormy was Russian – ::heavy sigh::

.

According to their own CNN polling (full pdf below), despite their earnest engineering efforts, when considering issues for the upcoming mid-term elections – there’s less interest now in Russia-Russia-Russia/Sexual Harassment nonsense, than there was three months ago.

About six months out from Election Day, 47% of registered voters say they back the Democratic candidate in their district, 44% back the Republican. Voters also are divided almost evenly over whether the country would be better off with the Democrats in control of Congress (31%) or with the GOP in charge (30%). A sizable 34% — including nearly half of independent voters (48%) — say it doesn’t matter which party controls Congress.

The Democrats’ advantage in the generic ballot dipped from 16 points in February to six points in March to just three points now. The party’s advantage has waned among enthusiastic voters as Republican enthusiasm has grown. (CNN LINK)

Additionally, the narrative engineering is failing, BIGLY:

People polled think Russian porn-star-sex is less important now than at the climax of the engineering endeavor.  Oh dear.

Now, what?

Yellowstone – The Supervolcano When is It Due?

Yellowstone Supervolcano geyser Steamboat has been unusually active. Many fear that something strange is happening which may signal it is getting active once again under Yellowstone National Park. Steamboat is indeed the world’s largest geyser and it has erupted three times in just six weeks. Many people have been asking if we ran our models on this one. Sure, we gave it a reasonable shot. However, the data is way too vague to produce an accurate projection. This requires not just trying to ascertain the cycle in this Supervolcano, but to double check it against our entire database to see if it correlates with other events to increase the accuracy.

Yellowstone National Park is actually an active supervolcano. It is a “supervolcano” since the entire park in inside the volcano, which is why you do not see the typical mountain and cone.  As you walk around the park you do not realize that you are walking into the Yellowstone volcano’s Caldera. The Yellowstone Caldera was formed when the supervolcano erupted around 640,000+ years ago. The Yellowstone eruption area collapsed upon itself, creating a sunken giant crater or Caldera 1,500 square miles in area. You could fit Tokyo, the world’s biggest city, in Yellowstone’s super-volcanic Caldera, no less New York City, Los Angeles, London, and Paris.

What makes the place so beautiful is the dramatic geological chaos beneath the surface. The magmatic heat that powered that last eruption, is still there and actually is powered two previous eruptions. Therefore, the park’s famous geysers, hot springs, fumaroles, and mud pots, are all because what lies beneath is still very active.

The very term “Supervolcano” implies an eruption of magnitude 8 on the Volcano Explosivity Index, indicating an eruption of more than 1,000 cubic kilometers (250 cubic miles) of magma. Yellowstone has had at least three such eruptions one about 2.1 million years ago, the next 1.2 million years ago, and the last big one 640,000 years ago. Three super-eruptions at Yellowstone appear to have occurred on a 600,000-700,000 year cycle. It is certain without question that a full-scale eruption would create a global disaster never witnessed by modern man. We are obviously at a loss of historical records to gauge what would happen. The most recent full-scale eruption took place 640,000 years ago – suggesting Yellowstone is overdue for an eruption. Yet this analysis is by itself just one-dimensional. To increase the accuracy, we need to correlate this with everything else in our database.

Looking at just the major Supervolcano eruptions does not help in really determining the true cyclical forces at work. We must also include the minor eruptions that take place within these cycles of 600-700,000 year intervals. The most recent volcanic activity consisted of rhyolitic lava flows which erupted approximately 70,000 years ago.  Indeed, the most recent giant caldera-forming eruption, 640,000 years ago is a starting point. There have been approximately 80 relatively nonexplosive eruptions that have occurred in the past 640,000 years. On the surface, this yields a general cycle of 8,000 years. When we correlate that against the entire database we have, it amazingly lines up with 8,600 years, which is no surprise. When we extrapolate this with our VOLATILITY models, it appears that intensity builds in a cycle of 25,800 years (3 times 8.6).

1991 Pinatubo Eruption

Looking deeper into these 80 eruption events, we discover that at least 27 were rhyolite lava flows in the Caldera, and 13 were rhyolite lava flows outside the Caldera. Some 40 eruption events were basalt vents outside the Caldera. Some of this “minor” eruptions that most people overlook were approximately the size of the devastating 1991 Pinatubo Eruption in the Philippines, and several were even much larger than that one. The most recent volcanic eruption at Yellowstone, a lava flow on the Pitchstone Plateau, occurred 70,000 years ago. So these minor events are entirely capable of even altering the climate WITHOUT the eruption of a Supervolcano which nobody can honestly say what would be the result. If the eruption of Mount Tambora  in 1816 produced the year without a summer, this one would probably darken the sky for more than a year and would probably result in famine and starvation. The evidence of the previous ash-fall would cover the wheat fields of the USA. That would not be very good for society as a whole. How long would the sun be blocked is the real question. This would most certainly contribute to Global Cooling.

Over the past few decades, there have been several research papers in the scientific press that submit there is a correlation between cosmic-solar radiations and destructive geological events such as earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. On top of this, there are correlations with climate change that kick in where volcanoes throw up ash into the atmosphere which blocks the sun and that sets in motion the global cooling sending the earth back toward an Ice Age. Therefore, the entire process is extremely complex. Our computer can put out a forecast, but it is looking at everything and the dynamic complexity of all the interactions. This is why I do not put forth X happens because of Y. It is just more complex than such correlations.

Many put forth that we are overdue on the Supervolcano eruption using this measurement of 640,000 years ago for the previous event. What we will see is a series of building minor events that should probably come in clusters of three. Based upon our correlations, the Supervolcano will be due 670,800 years from the last event. That means, not so much that we are in the clear, but how accurate is that last date of 640,000 years ago? Is it +- 30,000 years? What does seem to be more likely is that a major event is building in intensity keeping in mind that the smaller events can still be biggest that Mount Tambora and on this scale we do seem to be on schedule.

The Big Chill

They are calling it the “Big Chill” because we have just had two years of really Global Cooling. The NASA data has shown that the last two years have been the most dramatic two-year cooling event of the last century. Ever since the ECN turned down 2015.75, we have had colder weather and rising interest rates absent inflation. That is one heck of a combination. The global average temperatures dropped 0.56°C. The previous cooling two-year period was 1982-84 fand that drop was only 0.47°C. The greatest danger we face is being totally unprepared for a cooling period which historically results in crop failures. Russia has already experienced a crop failure this year.

BIG BANG is Here and Ticking

QUESTION:  Dear Marty,
due to 5,000-year lows in interest rates, in 2011 the US was able to triple the debt but keep the payments the same as in 1998. With interest rates rising (but still historically low) in 2017 the US paid the highest interest payment on the debt in history. Could you please elaborate on that?

Thank you for sharing your wisdom.
Kind regards,
M

ANSWER: This is going to be a major topic at the WEC. This is a major time bomb that amazingly nobody seems to be paying attention to. Rates are going higher for they need that to help the pension crisis. The USA is nowhere as bad as it appears in Europe from a debt perspective. This whole mess is going to explode in our face and this is going to be the serious trend going into the next ECM turning point.

The debts of governments around the globe are going to move up exponentially. This is very serious for some will raise taxes to try to keep the game going but that will cause even more deflation. I cannot express how SERIOUS this is. While everyone is looking at the stock market, others at the dollar and gold, they are missing the greatest threat to civilization since the 12th century.

Interest rates began to rise as soon as we passed the peak in this 8.6-year was – 2015.75. The Fed raised interest rates for the first time once the ECM turned.

The number of institutions calling and governments has been rising ever since the ECM turned. This is not going to get better and it is not going to just fade away. Sorry, if we keep our eyes closed and even hide under the bed, it will not matter.

Sketchy Porn Lawyer Accuses Wrong Michael Cohens Using Stolen Treasury Department Documents…

Michael Avenatti is the sketchy lawyer for porn star Stormy Daniels.  Following a similar approach deployed by Fusion-GPS, in a rush to spread rumors and accusations Avenatti has pushed stolen documents from Treasury Department filings to his allies in the media.

The documents appear to come from frequently submitted bank filings and treasury notifications known as Currency Transaction Reports (CTR’s), and Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR’s).  SAR’s and CTR’s are compliance forms filed by organizations who engage in financial services.

Every organization from mortgage providers, to international financial institutions, to local U.S. main street banks, all the way to Western Union and convenience stores who generate money orders, are required to file CTR’s and SAR’s as part of the Treasury Department Banking Secretaries Act; a law requiring anyone engaged in financial services to assist government agencies in detecting and preventing money laundering.

At some point every person reading here has likely had a report filled out by a financial provider, submitting their details within a financial transaction, filed with the Treasury department. You never know about it, because it’s part of compliance reporting.

Somehow the sketchy lawyer for Stormy Daniels obtained a list of treasury filings attached to the name Michael Cohen; the same name as President Trump’s lawyer. It is likely someone within the Treasury Department, or the DOJ with search access to the Treasury Department, leaked this list to Michael Avenatti in an effort to assist his dubious motives.

Unfortunately, at least two of the people Avenatti is now accusing of scurrilous financial transactions are not the same Michael Cohen the dubious lawyer is seeking to attack.  One is a Canadian Michael Cohen, the other is an Israeli Michael Cohen; both have financial transactions in the United States.  The latter just sending his brother money.

This is what happens when you put names in search engines within government records.  There are always multiple people with the same name.  You might remember the wrong Michael Cohen was identified in the Steele Dossier as traveling to Prague, part of a similarly intended and motivated accusation.

The previous incorrect search result on ‘Cohen travel’, contained in the Clinton-Steele Dossier, likely came from unlawful FISA-702(17) “about” queries (opposition research) and was passed along from Fusion-GPS to Steele -laundered into an intelligence product- and later passed back to the FBI via the dossier.  Today’s incorrect search results likely came from a U.S. government agency with access to Treasury Department records.

The U.S. Treasury Department has now opened an internal Inspector General investigation to see if they can find out who accessed the records, conducted an unauthorized search under the search name “Michael Cohen”, and unlawfully passed the results to the porn star’s lawyer, Michael Avenatti.

WASHINGTON –  The Treasury Department’s inspector general is investigating whether confidential banking information related to a company controlled by President Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen may have been leaked, a spokesman said.

Rich Delmar, counsel to the inspector general, said that in response to media reports the office is “inquiring into allegations” that Suspicious Activity Reports on Cohen’s banking transactions were “improperly disseminated.”

Detailed claims about Cohen’s banking history were made public Tuesday by Michael Avenatti, an attorney for Stormy Daniels, the adult-film star who was paid $130,000 by Cohen shortly before the 2016 election to keep quiet about her alleged affair with Trump.

On Twitter, Avenatti circulated a dossier that purports to show that Cohen was hired last year by the U.S.-based affiliate of a Russian company owned by Viktor Vekselberg, a Russian business magnate who attended Trump’s inauguration and was recently subjected to sanctions by the U.S. government. The affiliate, New York investment firm Columbus Nova, confirmed the payment, saying it was for consulting on investments and other matters, but denied any involvement by Vekselberg. (read more)

As most people are now aware there are employees and contractors within the U.S. government now weaponizing their access to personal records in an effort to attack their political opposition.  This should not be a surprise….

President Obama unlocked the door to weaponizing government against ordinary citizens when his Attorney General Eric Holder and the Treasury Department, via the IRS, gathered lists of U.S. persons who donated to Tea Party groups.

Ms. Lois Lerner, an IRS Administrator with access to IRS records of groups who filed under 501c(3)(4), passed to the DOJ over 1 million names from the “Schedule B” filings of those groups.  The filings were contained in 21 CD-ROM’s the IRS gave to AG Eric Holder to generate the admitted “secret research project”.

The people and companies listed as contributing to Tea Party groups were then targeted by additional government agencies.   The IRS admitted to what took place and a class action lawsuit was quietly settled.  However, in doing this a Pandora’s box was opened.

The Obama approach of using government databases to research political opposition never stopped.  A similar outcome was later evidenced in the FISA-702(16)(17) admissions by the FBI and Department of Justice – National Security Division in 2016:

(LINK)

Agents, employees, private contractors, and entities within government agencies with political motives and agendas, how have the ability to weaponize information against people they consider their political opposition.

This was always the danger of allowing corrupt left-wing ideologues to have the ability to control the mechanics of government.  This is part of Obama’s “fundamental change” that people allowed in 2009 through 2017.

After eight years of access and promotion of the processes, there are now thousands of like-minded political ideologues within government that will abuse their access to data in an effort to assist their allies.   Leaking information has evolved into specific targeting as the process has become more refined and frequent.

The discovered conversations between Lisa Page (DOJ), Peter Strzok (FBI), and communications director Michael Kortan (FBI) leaking information to their allies in the media is simply an extension of this continued approach.  The connective tissue between the media who receive information and the political legal groups who use the information is becoming less and less opaque each day.

We see this in the relationship between the Clinton-DNC, Fusion-GPS, the intelligence apparatus and the media.  They were/are working in common cause.

We see this in names like Daniel Richman, the friend of FBI Director James Comey who received the Comey Memos; a friend who was granted access to the FBI database.

We also see this in names like Benjamin Wittes, the operator of the Lawfare Blog and group of like-minded allies, also friends of James Comey.  We see evidence of this weaponization and ideological alignment with FBI Chief Legal Counsel James Baker going to work for Lawfare Blog.

Corrupt government officials; corrupt intelligence officials; corrupt media officials; corrupt legal officials; and corrupt political officials, all connected as part of one larger apparatus with one ideological and political intent.

The use of the weaponized information by a porn star’s lawyer is a corrupt continuance, nothing more.

President Trump Remarks During Cabinet Meeting…

President Trump delivers remarks at the beginning of a cabinet meeting today. Several topics are covered including the safe return of three American detainees from North Korea; and the upcoming summit.

[Transcript] 11:37 A.M. EDT – THE PRESIDENT: Okay, thank you very much. We have a lot of things happening, as you know. But last night was a very big night for the Republican Party. Every candidate that we wanted won, and they did very well. There was tremendous enthusiasm.

And with the economy going so strong and so good with all of the things that are happening, including a tremendous foreign affairs picture. If you look at what’s going on with so many different elements, including the fact that, right now, flying back are three, what they were calling “hostages.” We call them “fine people.” Three really fine people. Seemed to be healthy.

They’ll be landing at two o’clock in the morning at Andrews Air Force Base, and I’ll be there to greet them. Mike will be with me. It will be, I think, a very special time — because nobody thought this was going to happen. And if it did, it would be years or decades, frankly. Nobody thought this was going to happen. And I appreciate Kim Jong-un doing this and allowing them to go.

We’ve picked a time. We’ve picked a place for the meeting, or “summit,” as you like to call it. And I think it’ll be very successful. But as I always say, “Who knows?” Who knows what’s going to happen. But it’s going to be a very important event.

Again, I think this is something that nobody thought was going to happen for years or more. And I really believe it’s going to be a great thing for North Korea, a great thing for South Korea and Japan. I want to thank President Xi. He was very helpful to us two days ago on something very specific. President Xi of China. China has been very helpful.

And we’re working trade with China. And they’re doing okay because they’re helping us, and I guess they’re probably doing a little bit better because they’re helping us. But they have really helped us on North Korea. We appreciate it and we appreciate President Xi.

I just spoke to President Moon and explained what was taking place with respect to the three gentlemen. And President Moon of South Korea was very, very happy to hear it. He, likewise, has been incredibly helpful.

So the relationships we have with Prime Minister Abe, President Moon, President Xi, I think it all goes into what is taking place right now. And we very much look forward to having the meeting between the United States and North Korea. And that will be announced over the next couple of days as to timing.

We have a lot of things going on within our country. We’ve very much toughened up the border, but the laws are horrible. The laws in this country for immigration and illegal immigration are absolutely horrible. And we have to do something about it — not only the wall, which we’re building sections of wall right now. We have $1.6 billion. We’re fixing a lot of wall that basically is non-existent because it’s been ripped to pieces. It was poorly built and it wasn’t — it was really only temporary, in some cases.

San Diego has asked us to go forward with their section of the wall in California. And rather than not doing that and letting them lobby for us with Governor Brown, we decided to do it. And we’ll have a little bit less of a lobby, but we’ll have a lot of people happy in San Diego.

We have, I think, the numbers coming out from the economy. And you’re seeing what’s going on; they’re extraordinary. The stock market is up almost 35 percent from the election, but I think companies are doing even better than that, and they’re really ready to rock.

The conference we had yesterday was a very important one. You look at the deal that we had with Iran, it was a one-sided deal that ultimately was going to lead to nuclear proliferation all over the Middle East. And they were talking about it; other countries were talking about it. It was going to lead to that. They are all very happy at what I did. That was a one-sided deal that we spent $150 billion and $1.8 billion in cash on getting done. And it was not good, and it was not appropriate.

And we’ll see how we do with Iran. Probably, we won’t do very well with them, but that’s okay too. They’ve got to understand life, because I don’t think they do understand life. If you look at what’s happening in the Middle East with Syria, with Yemen, with all of the places they’re involved, it’s bedlam and death. And we can’t allow that to happen.

So we have terminated a terrible, terrible deal that should have never, ever been made. And we will be putting on among the strongest sanctions that we’ve ever put on a country. And they’re going into effect very shortly. They’re mostly constituted and drawn already, and we’ll just have to see what happens.

But we can’t allow a deal to hurt the world. That’s a deal to hurt the world; that’s not a deal for the United States. That’s a deal to hurt the world and, certainly, Israel. You saw Benjamin Netanyahu get up yesterday and talk so favorably about what we did.

Some of the senators, I watch them now as they say, “Oh, he shouldn’t have done it.” But they don’t say it — the Democratic senators — they don’t say with their full throat; they don’t say it with heart. Because they have one problem: They were totally against it. Like Chuck Schumer was totally against the deal. He voted against the deal. He was fighting with Obama. In fact, I remember reading at the time they ended up in a fight together over this deal because he wanted to protect Israel. And he knows this deal is very bad for Israel and very bad for the Middle East. But I know that they voted against it, and then you’ll see Chuck Schumer say, “Oh, he shouldn’t have ended the deal.” It’s like, oh — perhaps he changed his mind. But, by the way, the deal only got worse.

So we have a lot of exciting things happening, and I think that’s going to be an exciting thing. And perhaps — and Iran will never say it because they’re great negotiators. Kerry never had a chance against the gentleman he was negotiating with. The first time I saw that man, I watched him on a certain show — a show of an anchor who is no longer with us. He was taken down. But it was an interesting show. And I looked at him, and after about three minutes of watching the show, I said, “There’s no way that Kerry can negotiate against this gentleman.” And that turned out to be a fact.

So we’re going to make either a really good deal for the world, or we’re not going to make a deal at all. And Iran will come back and say, “We don’t want to negotiate.” And of course, they’re going to say that. And if I were in their position, I’d say that, too, for the first couple of months, “We’re not going to negotiate.” But they’ll negotiate, or something will happen. And hopefully that won’t be the case.

So I just want to let you know the United States is strong. Our military is in a position that we haven’t had in a long time. We have $700 billion approved and $716 billion for next year, numbers that we’ve never had before. We’re rebuilding our military to a level that it’s, frankly, never been. And these are good times to have a strong military, and hopefully we’ll never have to use it. You know, peace through strength, which I believe in very strongly.

So we’re honored by the fact that the three gentlemen are coming home, and I look forward to seeing you — probably, some of you, maybe a lot of you. It’ll be two o’clock in the morning. It’ll be quite a scene, and it’ll be — to me, it’s very exciting because it represents something. It represents something very important to this country.

People never thought a thing like this could happen and can. People never thought you were going to have a situation where we’re having serious and positive communication with North Korea, and we are. What happens? Who knows. We have a chance at something really great for the world and great for North Korea, and great for everyone.

So I want to thank you all for being here, and we will see you at two o’clock in the morning. We’re very excited.

Q When is the summit going to take place?

THE PRESIDENT: We’re going to announce that in three days, Jon. Within three days.

Q Within three days?

THE PRESIDENT: We’re just working arrangements.

Q Will it be the DMZ?

THE PRESIDENT: It will not be there, no.

Q Do you deserve the Nobel Prize, do you think?

THE PRESIDENT: Everyone thinks so, but I would never say it. (Laughter.) You know what I want to do? I want to get it finished. The prize I want is victory for the world, not for even here. I want victory for the world. Because that’s what we’re talking about. So that’s the only prize I want.

Q Could something still scuttle this meeting, the summit?

THE PRESIDENT: Everything can be scuttled. Everything can be scuttled. Doesn’t mean — a lot of things can happen. A lot of good things can happen, a lot of bad things can happen. I believe that we have — both sides want to negotiate a deal. I think it’s going to be a very successful deal. I think we have a really good shot at making it successful. But lots of things can happen. And, of course, you’ll be the first to know about it if it fails.

But I think we have a really good chance to make a great deal for the world. Thank you very much.

Q What are you going to do if Iran starts up their nuclear program again?

THE PRESIDENT: Iran will find out. They’re going to find out. I don’t think they should do that. I would advise Iran not to start their nuclear program. I would advise them very strongly.

If they do, there will be very severe consequence. Okay?

Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you.

DPRK Mission Success: Pompeo Returning With American Detainees – Trump Will Greet At Airport…

This is very good news.   Earlier today President Trump tweeted about Secretary of State Mike Pompeo having secured return of the American detainees from North Korea.

Excellent.   According to President Trump the date, time and location of the summit between himself and Chairman Kim Jong-un will be announced within the next 72 hours.

Notice little panda is being called “Chairman” Kim Jong-un.  Just like big panda next door, Chairman Xi Jinping.

National Security Adviser John Bolton Discusses Decision to Exit Failing Iran Deal…

National Security Advisor John Bolton appears on Fox News with Laura Ingraham to discuss President Trump’s decision to exit the failing Iran deal, and the ongoing talks with North Korea.

Report: Secretary Mike Pompeo To Return From N. Korea With Three American Detainees…

This report out of South Korea, while not confirmed, makes sense. Earlier today President Trump announced Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was en route to North Korea to finalized details for upcoming summit. Secretary Pompeo tweeted he was going to DPRK “at the invitation of N-Korean leadership.”

It makes sense, as an advanced gesture of goodwill ahead of the summit, for Kim Jong-un to release the U.S. captives.

SEOUL, May 9 (Yonhap) — North Korea is expected to release three U.S. citizens held in the communist state on Wednesday, an official from Seoul’s presidential office Cheong Wa Dae said, in an apparent goodwill gesture ahead of a historic meeting between its leader Kim Jong-un and U.S. President Donald Trump.

The official said U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was expected to return with the exact time of the Trump-Kim summit, along with the three U.S. captives in North Korea. “We expect him to bring the date, time and the captives,” the official said, while speaking on condition of anonymity.  (more)

(left to right) Kim Dong Chul, Kim Sang Duk, Kim Hak Soon

Kim Dong Chul, Kim Sang Duk, Kim Hak Soon are the names of the three hostages being released.  Two of the captives, Hak-Soon and Sang Duk, belong to the Pyongyang Univ of Science & Technology and were taken in in Apr & May 2017: they’ve been held for a year. The third, Kim Dong Chul, is an ordained minister taken in 2015 when he was commuting to Rason from China and and has been serving a 10-year sentence on espionage charges.

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo specifically requested their release while visiting Pyongyang on Easter weekend. The three are US citizens with Korean heritage.  National Security Adviser John Bolton said on Fox News Sunday that North Korea could show its sincerity by releasing US hostages prior to the summit.

In March of this year Sweden was initially playing a large role and helping negotiate the terms of the North-South Korea summit as well as the release of three Americans held captive in North Korea.

We believe that Mr. Trump can take them back on the day of the U.S.-North Korea summit, or he can send an envoy to take them back to the U.S. before the summit,” said Choi Sung-ryong, an activist pursuing release of North Korea’s political prisoners.
