Senator Joe Manchin Pretends to be Surprised That Joe Biden is Banning Coal Powered Energy

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on November 5, 2022 | Sundance

Yesterday, Joe Biden declared that all coal-fired electricity plants in the U.S would be shut down, saying, “we’re going to be shutting these plants down all across America and having wind and solar.”

Today, West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin, the senator who gave Joe Biden the vote he needed for the ‘inflation reduction act’ also known as the climate change investment act that will eliminate all oil, coal and natural gas development, pretends to act surprised that Joe Biden will destroy the West Virginia coal mining industry.

Joe Manchin – “Today, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) released the following statement on comments President Biden made about shutting down coal plants.

“President Biden’s comments are not only outrageous and divorced from reality, they ignore the severe economic pain the American people are feeling because of rising energy costs. Comments like these are the reason the American people are losing trust in President Biden and instead believes he does not understand the need to have an all in energy policy that would keep our nation totally energy independent and secure. It seems his positions change depending on the audience and the politics of the day. Politicizing our nation’s energy policies would only bring higher prices and more pain for the American people.

“Let me be clear, this is something the President has never said to me. Being cavalier about the loss of coal jobs for men and women in West Virginia and across the country who literally put their lives on the line to help build and power this country is offensive and disgusting. The President owes these incredible workers an immediate and public apology and it is time he learn a lesson that his words matter and have consequences.” (read more)

Tucker Carlson Draws Attention to Imprisonment of Catherine Englebrecht and Gregg Phillips

True the Vote founder Catherine Englebrecht and election data security analyst, Gregg Phillips, were previously in contempt of court and placed in jail for failing to outline the participants in a 2020 hotel discussion that revealed the Konnech election data compromise that was transmitted to Chinese networks.  {Go Deep} Konnech CEO Eugene Yu was arrested for exploiting access to U.S. election data, including election worker information, and transferring the files to China.

Eugene Yu and Konnech sued True the Vote and are using the U.S. civil judicial system to find out who told the FBI about the Chinese data harvesting operation. Federal Judge Kenneth Hoyt demanded that Phillips and Englebrecht reveal the names of everyone who was present when the original data files were shown to True the Vote.

Englebrecht and Phillips stated they did not ever possess the data file, do not have it and refused to name all the participants who may have seen it.   Judge Hoyt threw them in jail last Monday until Englebrecht and Phillips give up the names to the court and the Chinese Communist Party.  Tucker Carlson discusses {Direct Rumble Link} – WATCH:

Blue Check Twitter is Big Mad

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on November 4, 2022 | Sundance

As anticipated, Blue Check Twitter is big mad today….

(Politico) – Elon Musk began firing hundreds of Twitter employees on Friday, four days before the midterm elections, including members of the teams that work on U.S. elections and content moderation on the high-profile social-media platform.

Tweets flooded the platform on Friday, many using the hashtags #LoveWhereYouWork and #OneTeam, as employees let others know that they had been let go. Many of those posting had previously worked in roles including public policy, trust and safety, communications, engineering, marketing and human resources.

Half of Twitter’s public policy team was cut, including members of a team handling verification of politicians’ accounts, according to a person close to the company who requested anonymity. That work will now be folded into a team rolling out a subscription service that is expected to launch on Nov. 7.

[…]  Friday’s layoffs, however, appear to be adding fuel to the anxieties of both users and advertisers that Twitter is gutting its ability to keep tabs on who and what shows up on its platform. And the across-the-board cuts come just as the company’s moderation systems are expected to be tested during the midterms.

In a press call, a coalition of civil rights and activists groups called #StopToxicTwitter called for a global pause on advertising in the light of the mass layoffs on Friday. […] “With today’s mass layoffs, it’s clear that Musk’s actions betray his words,” Jessica González, co-CEO of the media advocacy group Free Press, said on the call. (read more)

NBC Broadcasts, Then Deletes, a Report From San Francisco That Directly Contradicts FBI Statement About Pelosi Attack

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on November 4, 2022 | Sundance

Something sketchy is going on here.  NBC aired a report on the attack against Paul Pelosi that directly contradicts the FBI affidavit of the events when police arrived at the Pelosi home.  NBC then deleted the broadcast report from Twitter and their website saying it “did not meet their journalistic standard.”

It’s worth noting the contradiction stems from the FBI report written by FBI Agent Stephanie Minor, who is relatively new to the FBI: “I am a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”) and have been an FBI Special Agent since 2019.” [Source, page 2, item 4 “affiant background“] Why would the FBI use such a junior agent for such a high-profile case?  It seemed odd when the FBI affidavit was released.

The NBC broadcast {Direct Rumble Link} says that Paul Pelosi opened the door, didn’t declare an emergency….. and then walked back to his attacker and was attacked.  NBC Scrubbed this report, but not before it was captured on the internet. WATCH:

Compare the NBC report to the probable cause affidavit {Page 3, PCA LINK}

That’s not a minor discrepancy.

NBC reporting from San Francisco about what happened when the police arrived at the home of Paul Pelosi directly conflicts with the FBI affidavit about what the police saw when Paul Pelosi opened the door.

After people noted the discrepancy, and began sharing the report, NBC quickly scrubbed the report.

No – This is Not the Last Daylight Saving Time

Armstrong Economics Blog/Politics Re-Posted Nov 4, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

There seems to be some confusion as people cheer that November 6 will be the last annual end to Daylight Saving Time (DST). The proposal to stop altering the clocks passed in the Senate last year. However, the bill died in the Democrat-controlled House and has not been discussed since.

The tradition of changing the clocks back and forth began in 1918 in a failed attempt to conserve energy by limiting daylight hours. The US Senate unanimously voted for the Sunshine Protection Act to preserve DST. Had the House of Representatives done their part, time would remain consistent throughout the year beginning in November 2023.

Rep. Frank Pallone Jr. (D-NJ) said that the measure was simply not a top priority for House Democrats. The proposal was popular and well understood by the general public so House members pretended to be in favor of passing legislation. Even Pelosi chimed in that she supported making DST permanent. To complicate measures, lawmakers do not know if they should make daylight saving or standard time permanent. “We continue to try to come up with a consensus but so far, it’s eluded us,” Pallone said.

Nixon attempted to make DST permanent for two years in 1974 to help with a gas shortage. Ford nixed that legislation nine months later.

Perhaps they should allow WE THE PEOPLE the opportunity to vote. This is another example of how much control politicians have over our lives right down to the time.
