Worsening Food Price Increases Gain Global Attention – UN Food and Agriculture Organization Tracks Highest Prices Ever Recorded

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on April 8, 2022 | Sundance

The UN Food and Agriculture Organization reported on Friday they are recording the highest Food Price Index since they started recording thirty years ago. With record highs in prices for cereals, vegetable oils, dairy and meats

This issue has been a slow burning fuse toward the biggest powder keg in modern history, and it is about to get very serious.  We have been warning about it since last fall {Go Deep}.  In the most deliberate and painstaking ways possible, we have been urging everyone to take this issue seriously.

The background cause is complex and started with the 2020 government response to the pandemic.  U.S. and international government intervention in the food supply process has been FUBAR from the beginning. Every action taken since early 2020 has been one bad policy after another; building failure upon failure, crisis upon crisis, bad decision upon bad decision, bringing us to a precipice summed up by saying “the absence of food will change things.”

Some will say the food prices we are about to experience –and the crisis it will create– was deliberate.  Others will say this was the cumulative outcome of major failures on the part of the government.  At this point the former makes more sense, and the latter looks like a justification and excuse, because if government entities were really serious about food prices and shortages, they would be taking pragmatic steps to mitigate the problem; they are not.

There are simple things government could do, such as helping farmers offset targeted fertilizer costs, providing relief for diesel fuel and energy costs, and taking other simple steps that would help the agricultural industry.

Instead of responding with the urgency this would demand, the collective government action has been to ignore the problem (talk soundbites), and give speeches about using subsidies to offset the end result (consumers) – without ever addressing the root cause.  All this while fueling conflict in Ukraine and chasing radical energy policies under the guise of global climate change.

The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (UNFAO) keeps track of food prices and projections using a global index [SEE HERE].  What they are calculating, and what they are projecting based on the current calculations, is a major increase in food prices combined with a major increase in food scarcity due to the unaffordability of food products.

The baseline of 100 is the monthly rate of change for a basket of food products using the period from 2014 to 2016.

The current rate of change is indexing at 159.3, meaning the monthly increases in price are almost 60% higher than the base period.  Trying to chart this rate of index is almost impossible, as it seems literally exponential. (red line in graphic)

In 2020, the monthly rate of change increased to an index of around 110.  In 2021, the monthly rate of increase went from 110 to around 135.  In the first three months of 2022, the index has jumped from 135 to almost 160 (in three months), and there is no end in sight.

The FAO Food Price Index* (FFPI) averaged 159.3 points in March 2022, up 17.9 points (12.6 percent) from February, making a giant leap to a new highest level since its inception in 1990. The latest increase reflects new all-time highs for vegetable oils, cereals and meat sub-indices, while those of sugar and dairy products also rose significantly.

The FAO Cereal Price Index averaged 170.1 points in March, up 24.9 points (17.1 percent) from February, marking its highest level on record since 1990. This month’s increase reflected a surge in world prices of wheat and coarse grains, largely driven by conflict-related export disruptions from Ukraine and, to a lesser extent, the Russian Federation. The expected loss of exports from the Black Sea region exacerbated the already tight global availability of wheat. With concerns over crop conditions in the United States of America (USA) also adding support, world wheat prices rose sharply in March, soaring by 19.7 percent.

The FAO Vegetable Oil Price Index averaged 248.6 points in March, up 46.9 points (23.2 percent) from February and hitting a new record high. The sharp rise of the index was driven by higher sunflower, palm, soy and rapeseed oil prices.

The FAO Dairy Price Index averaged 145.2 points in March, up 3.7 points (2.6 percent) from February, marking the seventh consecutive monthly increase and lifting the index 27.7 points (23.6 percent) above its value a year ago. The upward trend of dairy product prices persisted, mainly supported by the tightening of global markets due to inadequate milk output in Western Europe and Oceania to meet global demand. Quotations for butter and milk powders rose steeply.

The FAO Meat Price Index* averaged 120.0 points in March, up 5.5 points (4.8 percent) from February, also reaching an all-time high. In March, pig meat prices registered the steepest monthly increase on record since 1995.

The FAO Sugar Price Index averaged 117.9 points in March, up 7.4 points (6.7 percent) from February, reversing most of the previous three months’ decline and reaching levels more than 20 percent above those registered in the corresponding month last year. [DETAILS]

In the United States and North America as a whole we are blessed and fortunate.  We have abundant, healthy and fertile land that allows us to grow more food than we consume.  We are a net exporter of food products.  However, while we do not have to worry about shortages at the scale of other nations, there will be scarcity.

Additionally, the price increases will hit the U.S. consumer at a lesser, yet still big time significant, scale.  The issue in the U.S. will be food insecurity due to massive increases in price.   The middle class will spend more of their earnings and wages on food, and people will literally make changes to their food purchases based on these massive increases in price.

In food dependent nations, the scale of the issue will be far greater.  In part, this is the reason the southern border crisis will be much more severe this year.  We will see an influx of migration due to food availability and unaffordability issues, that is certain; however, that issue is also incidental to the massive influx that is going to happen as a result of the Biden open-border policy.

In the strongly food dependent nations, the food price and scarcity issue has already triggered panic.

We are several generations separated from any time in history where people have worried about the United States having abundant affordable food.  Arguably, those under 40 to 45-years of age do not have any reference to the type of food scarcity and food inflation that is coming.

As we have mentioned for quite some time, “the absence of food will change things.”

We are in an abusive relationship with government leaders.

Canada Bans Foreign Home Buyers for Two Years

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on April 8, 2022 | Sundance

In Chapter 1, sub-section 1.4 of the 2022 Canadian budget, there is a rather remarkable new rule that bans foreign ownership and investment in housing for a period of two years.  [LINK HERE]

To make sure that housing is owned by Canadians instead of foreign investors, Budget 2022 announces the government’s intention to propose restrictions that would prohibit foreign commercial enterprises and people who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents from acquiring non- recreational, residential property in Canada for a period of two years.”

Two points about this issue.  First, can you imagine the media outcry if a conservative prime minister would ever make such a proposal?  Quite a leftist change from the previous mantra “diversity is our strength”?

Second, considering the issue of foreign investment that creates housing, there is a likelihood this could backfire.  The new position of Canada will certainly put more upward pressure on the U.S. housing market.  Every action tends to have an equal and opposite reaction.  It will be interesting to follow this and see where it leads.

OTTAWA, Ontario (AP) — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government announced Thursday it will ban foreign investors from buying homes in Canada for two years in a bid to cool off a hot housing market.

Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland took a number of measures to tamp down speculation and demand amid record home prices in announcing the federal budget for the year.

The government announced a two-year ban on foreign home buying as well as higher taxes for people who sell their home within a year, though both measures include multiple exceptions including for permanent residents and foreign students. (read more)

Imagine the apoplexy if Donald Trump made such a nationalistic move.

As with most things leftist, European, political and currently Canadian, the ideologues are all about advancing globalism until some consequence reaches their doorstep.  Then suddenly changes need to be made and protectionist programs like this new 2022 housing rule are triggered.   Can you think of something more economically nationalist than this rule?

Alas, we beat the dead equine.  In order for entrenched left-wing ideologues to continue advancing their insane ideology, they must pretend not to know things.

Australian MP Outlines Concerning School Lesson, Sexual Assignment for 10-Year-Old, “What the Hell Is Going On Here”

The issue of inappropriate education topics surrounding the sexualization of children has been in the headlines recently, as Florida and other states initiate laws to stop young students (K-3) from being exposed to sexual material promoted by leftist educators.  However, the issue is not isolated to the United States.

A state legislator in Victoria, Australia, recently outlined an education program where young 10-year-old girls are being told to ask their fathers about “erections and ejaculation” as homework. Bernie Finn, a member of the upper house of the Victorian state parliament in Australia, reads the concerns from a constituent parent in his district, then explodes,”What the hell is going on here?”  WATCH:

“How the hell are we supposed to protect our kids when this sort of perversion is in our schools? This is what is being dished up to them on a daily basis in a primary school – not even a secondary school – a primary school. This is just unbelievable. It’s staggering.”

There It Is, The Canadian 2022 Budget Authorizes a Central Bank Digital Currency

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on April 7, 2022 | Sundance

CTH noted earlier, in the aftermath of the COVID-19 control mechanisms, things were being done legislatively to follow a ‘new world order’ for western democracies {Go Deep}.  One of the nations we noted following this new direction, was Canada.  Today, a review of the proposed Canadian 2022 budget finds something to align with the new version of democracy – the establishment of funding to create a central bank digital currency.

That should not necessarily come as a surprise.  After all, despite a massive amount of denial from the Canadian Finance Minister and Canadian Prime Minister toward the context of CTH research {Go DEEP}, the direct evidence we were looking for is now discovered.

Buried deep, very deep, in Chapter 9.2 of the Canadian Budget you will find this:  …”In the last several months, for example, there have been a number of high-profile examples—both around the world and here in Canada—where digital assets and cryptocurrencies have been used to avoid global sanctions and fund illegal activities.”

(Chapter 9.2) […] Budget 2022 includes measures that will help maintain the integrity of the financial system, promote fair competition, and protect both the finances of Canadians and our national security.

  • Budget 2022 announces the government’s intention to launch a financial sector legislative review focused on the digitalization of money and maintaining financial sector stability and security. The first phase of the review will be directed at digital currencies, including cryptocurrencies and stablecoins.
  • Budget 2022 also proposes $17.7 million over five years, starting in 2022-23, to the Department of Finance to lead the review.

The review will examine, among other factors: how to adapt the financial sector regulatory framework and toolbox to manage new digitalization risks; how to maintain the security and stability of the financial system in light of these evolving business models and technological capabilities; and the potential need for a central bank digital currency in Canada. (LINK)

Huh. Imagine that.  What was called a “conspiracy theory” just a few weeks/days ago, is now the expressed intent of the same government who denied it was ever being considered.

(Source link – Chapter 9, sub section 9.2)

You may remember when Chrystia Freeland and Justin Trudeau triggered their use of the Emergency Act to confiscate the bank accounts and financial assets of protest groups.  Trudeau and Freeland essentially broke the financial code of Omerta, by highlighting how easy it is for government to seize your bank accounts, credit cards, retirement accounts, insurance, mortgages, loan access and cut you off from money (without due process).

However, when Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland announced they would use the Emergency Act declaration to target the financial support systems, banks and accounts of the people who were protesting against COVID mandates, they not only undermined the integrity of the Canadian banking system – they also inadvertently stuck a wrench into the plans of the World Economic Forum and the collaborative use of the Canadian Bankers Association to create a digital id.  WATCH:

If the Canadian government can arbitrarily block citizen access to their banking institution without any due process, what does that say about the system the Canadian Banking Association (CBA) was putting into place as part of their Digital ID network?

If the CBA digital identity were in place during the trucker protest and the deployment of the Emergency Act, the same people targeted by Trudeau’s use of the Act could have their entire identity blocked by the same government measures.  The realization of the issue, reflected by a severe undermining of faith in the banking system, surfaces as a dramatic problem for those working to create and promote the Digital ID.

It is not coincidental the financial targeting mechanism deployed by Trudeau/Freeland, the Canadian banking system, was/is the same mechanism being used to create the digital identity, which is now the same mechanism they are budgeting to begin establishing the Canadian digital currency.

♦ It is all one continuum.

Using the COVID-19 pandemic, they created a specific vaccine mandate.  Using the vaccine mandate, they created a vaccine passport.  The vaccination passport and registration process tracked/monitored human behavior.  In actual substance, the vaccine passport can be looked at as the beta test for a larger mission of a comprehensive digital identity and/or social credit tracking system.  Most Canadian’s complied, willingly.

Now, it is a simple process to shift into a digital identity, as noted above by the Canadian Banking Association, and presto – the government has just created the foundational infrastructure for the digital currency.

The 2022 Canadian budget provides the funding to create the digital currency mechanisms.

Once the mechanisms are in place, then it becomes a simple process to control how the digital currency is spent.

Biden Administration Admits to Creating Strategic Disinformation for Their Intents in Ukraine – Meanwhile Big Tech Claims They Will Target Anyone Who Intentionally Uses Disinformation

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on April 7, 2022 | Sundance

Riddle me this my friends:  The White House has officially admitted to creating misinformation, disinformation and malinformation as part of their strategic campaign against Russia in Ukraine.  NBC news gleefully embraces the strategy {SEE HERE}.  However, the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has an official agency mission {SEE HERE} to “help the American people understand the scope and scale of Mal, Dis, and Misinformation activities,” and Google/Big Tech have officially aligned with both U.S. government interests, promising to target, remove and penalize any entity engaged in Mal, Dis and Misinformation activities.

Please think about the inherent questions.  On one hand the White House and Intelligence Community is admitting they are purposefully and intentionally creating misinformation, and on the other hand the White House and Intelligence Community are promising to target the origin of misinformation.  In the middle, Big Tech speech police are saying they will be the arbiters of what constitutes misinformation.   See the problem?

Before ‘circling back’ to the previously emphasized CTH position, first take a look at how “senior administration officials” are admitting to NBC the creation and promotion of misinformation under the auspices of weaponized false intelligence reports:

(Via NBC) – […] three U.S. officials told NBC News this week there is no evidence Russia has brought any chemical weapons near Ukraine. They said the U.S. released the [mis]information to deter Russia from using the banned munitions.

[…] Coordinated by the White House National Security Council, the unprecedented intelligence releases have been so frequent and voluminous, officials said, that intelligence agencies had to devote more staff members to work on the declassification process, scrubbing the [mis]information so it wouldn’t betray sources and methods.

[…] The idea is to pre-empt and disrupt the Kremlin’s tactics, complicate its military campaign, “undermine Moscow’s propaganda and prevent Russia from defining how the war is perceived in the world,” said a Western government official familiar with the strategy.

Multiple U.S. officials acknowledged that the U.S. has used [mis]information as a weapon even when confidence in the accuracy of the information wasn’t high. Sometimes it has used low-confidence intelligence for deterrent effect, as with chemical agents, and other times, as an official put it, the U.S. is just “trying to get inside Putin’s head.” (read more)

Despite the aligned ideological spin NBC puts on the context, the bottom line is that senior officials in the U.S. government are lying in an effort to create and support a propaganda campaign against Vladimir Putin and Russia vis-a-vis the Ukraine conflict.

The justification for the manipulation of information, the creation of dis/mal/and misinformation, and the propaganda campaign writ large, is based on a position that the U.S. is on the virtuous side of the conflict.  Where virtue is determined by the officials creating the lies.  Yes, lying for the public good, is essentially now the admitted narrative.

Putting aside the creation of lies to advance a strategic geopolitical objective, the bigger admission in the U.S. government statements is that much of the information coming to the American public -from them- is manufactured, false, fabricated and wrong.

Simultaneous to this admission of manufactured lies, the platforms of big tech and social media are saying they will target, remove and block any content that contradicts the official government position.  In the case of Google, the dominating search engine for information over the internet, they state it is an infraction against their policy to espouse a claim “that contradicts official government records.”  Yet, the U.S. government is officially admitting the information they are creating for the government records, is self-admittedly false.

Not wanting to overinflate the CTH position, but this now admitted reality is exactly why we have taken the following position.

…”There is no such thing as “disinformation” or “misinformation”.  There is only information you accept and information you do not accept.  You were not born with a requirement to believe everything you are told; rather, you were born with a brain that allows you to process the information you receive and make independent decisions.”…

There are only two elements within the public discussion of information, truth and not truth.

In an era filled with “fact-checkers” and institutional guardians at the gates of Big Tech, let me explain exactly why it is important not to accept the speech rules of the guards.

When you accept the terms “disinformation”, “misinformation” or the newest lingo, “malinformation,” you are beginning to categorize truth and lies in various shades.  You are merging black and white, right and wrong, into various shades of grey.

When your mind works in the grey zone, you are, by direct and factual consequence, saying there is a problem.  You are correct, however, this is where people may make a mistake. That problem is supposed to be there.

It is not a solution to the problem to try and remove the grey simply because it takes too much work to separate the white pixels from the black ones.  You were born with a gift, the greatest gift a loving God could provide.  You were born with a brain and set of natural instincts that are tools to do this pixel separation, use them.

If you define the grey work as a problem you cannot solve on your own, you open the door for others to solve that problem for you.  You begin to abdicate the work, and that’s when trouble can enter.  The sliding scale of Pinocchios is one of the most familiar yet goofy outcomes.

Put more clearly, when you accept the terminology “disinformation”, you accept a problem.  The problem is then the tool by which authorities will step in to make judgements.  Speech, in its most consequential form, is then qualified by others to whom you have sub-contracted your thinking.

When you willingly sub-contract information filters to others, you have lost connection with the raw information.   CTH was founded upon the belief that truth has no agenda, nor does it care about you, your feelings, or your opinion of it.  It just sits there, empirically existing as evidence of information in its most pure form.

The search for truth, in all things, is the mission objective of this assembly.  Often, we don’t like the truth; often, the truth is bitter, cold, challenging and even painful to accept.  However, the truth doesn’t care.  Information in its most raw form is ambivalent to your opinion.  If you struggle to accept these things, that’s when you need grey.  The New York Times is not called the “grey lady” accidentally.

Personally, I am an absorber of information – perhaps on a scale that is unusual.  But I do not discount information from any form until I can put context to it and see if the information makes sense given all the variables present.  When something doesn’t feel right, it’s almost always because it isn’t right.

Often, I find myself struggling in the grey and complex.  It is not unusual to spend days researching, digging, clarifying a situation, only to discover the path to finding the truth is in another direction entirely.   Erasing everything and starting over is frustrating, but it is genuinely the only approach that works; and often finding truth is supposed to be difficult, that’s why it is rewarding.

In the digital information age, we are bombarded with information.  It is easy to be overwhelmed and need to find something or someone who has better skills at separating the black grains from the white ones.  All opinions in this quest should be considered; thus, it is important to allow the free flow of information.

I am not necessarily a speech absolutist.  There is some language that needs to be constrained if we are to participate in a respectful society, with grandma’s rules and knowing the audience.  The CTH has guidelines for comments for this exact reason.  However, those constraints need to be based on a set of inherent values.   When it comes to information it is important to draw a distinction from speech.

There needs to be an open venue for all information. Unfortunately, when we begin to apply labels or categorization to information, there’s an opportunity for information to be manipulated – even weaponized.  Saul Alinsky spent decades pondering the best techniques to weaponize information and speech.  Alinsky’s intentions in the endeavor to change society by changing how language and information was used were not good. He devoted his completed rulebook book to Lucifer.

Be careful about anyone saying we need to label or categorize information in order to control or remove speech from the discussion.

You were not born with a requirement to believe everything you are told; rather, you were born with a God-given brain that allows you to process the information you receive and make independent decisions.

Unfortunately, the collectively aligned group of U.S. Govt, the Intelligence Community and now Big Tech, are saying they will put every roadblock they can muster in your way as you attempt to navigate through the misinformation they control.

With that in mind, I would finish with this.  Be kind to those who cannot see through the misinformation, and do not invest too much time trying to convince them.  Convincing is an endless quest, because it transfers the responsibility of discernment from them to you. They will become dependent on you and that my friends can be a heavy weight upon you.

Remember, “Whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.” ~ Max Ehrmann

German Parliament Rejects Vaccine Mandate

Posted originally on the conservative tree hose on April 7, 2022 | Sundance

Despite western media presentations of vaccine outlooks in what they frame as progressive Germany, the country actually has one of the lower vaccination rates in Europe. About 76% of Germans have one dose of vaccine compared to an average of 80% in France, Italy and Spain.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated earlier in the year, the only way forward through the COVID-19 pandemic was a national vaccine mandate.

Anticipating limited support for the measure, Scholz’s tenuous coalition government constructed a law they thought would have widespread support.  Those over 60-years of age would have a mandatory vaccination, and those 18 to 59 would have a mandatory conversation with their doctors about the vaccination.

The members of parliament were told to follow their conscience as Scholz’s law was brought to the floor for a vote.  The vaccine law failed to pass parliament as 378 members voted against it, 296 voted in favor.  The legislative defeat has stunned the ruling German coalition.

BERLIN, April 7 (Reuters) – Germany’s lower house of parliament on Thursday voted against a bill requiring anyone aged 60 and over to get vaccinated against COVID-19 in a defeat for Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

[…] In an attempt to avoid another wave of the virus in the autumn, the cross-party proposal required citizens aged 60 and over to be vaccinated from Oct. 15.  […]  Of the 683 parliamentarians who voted, 378 voted against the bill and 296 in favour, triggering cheers from far-right AfD lawmakers. It was a free vote, with lawmakers not told to follow party lines.

However, the defeat is a setback for Scholz who had even summoned his foreign minister, Annalena Baerbock, to leave a NATO meeting in Brussels to return for the vote.

Scholz had last week been forced to drop plans for mandatory vaccinations for over 18s as he could not muster a parliamentary majority.

Dirk Wiese, a lawmaker involved in initiating the bill, blamed opposition conservatives, saying they blocked the bill to hurt the government.

“The CDU/CSU (conservatives) have unscrupulously answered a question of conscience,” Wiese said in a statement.

The bill’s failure reflects the challenging policy-making dynamics of the ruling coalition, comprising Scholz’s Social Democrats, the Greens and liberal Free Democrats who disagree on many issues. (read more)

Apparently, the viewpoint of medical autonomy, freedom and individual liberty is still alive in Germany.  If the reports of vaccine rates are accurate, 24% of German have rejected the vaccine completely, and now 55% of MP’s have rejected the government demand to make the vaccine mandatory.

There Is Something Very Troublesome About the Western Govt, Post-COVID, Rules-Based Order

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on April 7, 2022 | Sundance

While the western media quickly jumped from the COVID crisis to the Ukraine crisis, in the background of current events there is a lot of activity amid western government that does not look very democratic.

The word ‘autocracy‘, with all its variants, has been used a lot frequently by western government politicians as they attack the ideology of Russia, China and essentially every national leader who does not join their “rules-based order” club.  There is so much linguistic repetition from the same western leadership, it’s impossible not to see this autocracy narrative as some form of talking point that stemmed from some G7 or NATO collaboration meeting.

It does not seem coincidental the new catch phrases of “autocracy” vs “rules-based order” surfaced at the tail end of the COVID crisis, when Build Back Better shifted from a talking point into an actual set of western legislative constructs  perhaps intended to codify the emergency powers those same officials deployed.

What kind of democracy, or rules-based order mindset, was the European Commission carrying when they decried the overwhelming national election in Hungary?  Surely if the EU wanted to celebrate democracy, they would cheer for the high voter turnout that reelected Prime Minister Viktor Orban, yet they did exactly the opposite.  Apparently, some democracies are more valued than others.

At the same time the EU is clutching pearls over the results in Hungary, another western ally, Canada, is codifying the government’s emergency act power to seize property without due process.  As we are directed to be distracted by everything Zelenskyy, it might be worth noting that Ontario Bill 100 is about to permanently change the rules of permitted political protest. You can read about Bill 100 here and watch the economic debate here.

Essentially, Bill 100 gives the Canadian government the power to seize your home, finances, bank accounts and assets if you take part in any form of protest that would create economic harm to any loosely defined entity.  Protest at the border, lose your house; at least that’s the threat they are about to make into a law.

It seems rather incredulous to me that securing a corporate financial interest would override the concerning possibility of forever losing liberty and freedom for the individual citizen. However, in this new post-COVID ‘rules-based order’, that’s the official justification from the Canadian government.  Slippery slope and all that accepted, this Ontario Bill 100 is a few slides beyond the slippery.

Similar actions are taking place in New Zealand and Australia, where codifying the emergency powers of public health officials post-COVID rules, is at the forefront of their legislative and constitutional reform efforts.

Creating new era ‘rules-based democracy’ stuff is filling up the business end of western government attention in Europe, North American and the land down under.

But it’s not just Europe, Canada, New Zealand and Australia doing this.  In the United States we have a combination of new restrictions on liberty and freedom around emergency health issues in combination with J6 “threat to democracy” outcomes being created.  The J6 committee is looking at Trump supporters the way the EU commission is looking at Hungarian citizens.

Add it all up, and this new version of western democracy doesn’t look like it is based on the same principles the older version, the non-rules-based version, was using.

These new “rules of democracy” are also being overlaid by new rules for discussing democracy as found in the guidelines from the tech overlords.

Google just recently announced, in the era post-COVID, they will no longer tolerate content that “makes claims that are demonstrably false and could significantly undermine participation or trust in an electoral or democratic process.

So, if you are to speak against the new “rules of democracy”, or the legislation that is going through the “democratic process” in the EU, NZ, AU, Canada or the United States, you can be targeted by the online Google wrong-think police.  Isn’t that convenient considering the effort to codify the totalitarian tendencies of the new “western democracies.”

If you speak against the newer version of the ‘rules-based order‘, the leaders of western democracies will enjoy protection from the internet police.  A rebellious sort, as defined by a person who still thinks independently, might say that sounds almost autocratic or something.

There was always a concern that any political leader who granted themselves extreme powers, under the pretense of the pandemic threat, would never want to relinquish that scale of control over their citizens.  Indeed, it can be argued we are seeing those concerns come to fruition with supportive action from ruling elites in the various parliamentary and congressional offices.

A wise fellow of steward-minded disposition stated today that if U.S. government officials were genuinely concerned about the welfare of Americans, they would immediately be holding legislative sessions to ramp up energy production, cut through regulatory hurdles, lower gasoline prices, seal our borders and prepare our national food stocks for a concerning global food shortage.

Perhaps, just perhaps, if a legislative body was truly representative of the citizens, they would be using a few billion taxpayer dollars to purchase or offset fertilizer costs, help farmers with diesel fuel prices and work earnestly to insure full harvests this year.

Alas, the only nation worthy of such financial consideration is a tenuously manipulated -by them- country called Ukraine.

These new western democracy rules certainly appear to be rules of priority for the few, and not rules that would be a priority for the many.   Perhaps that’s the whole point.  Maybe that’s the bigger picture.

As it appears by action and consequence, this new western, post-COVID, ‘rules-based order’ is focused exclusively on providing benefit for the self-described elites.

I wonder what will happen if the many just don’t comply?…

… Or have the autocrats thought about that with the open border rules coming May 23rd?

Counter Move, Hungary Will Pay for Russian Energy in Rubles if Russia Asks

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on April 6, 2022 | Sundance

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban was overwhelmingly reelected last weekend {LINK}, despite the massive efforts against him by the European Union, western and euro-centric multinational globalists.   Brussels was furious at the Hungarian people.

The European Commission responded to the election by announcing they would fine Hungary €5 billion {LINK} for not following the ideology of the collective New World Order and western democratic norms.  The EU intent is to punish Hungary for perceived transgressions against the European order.

Delivering another blow, while pushing back against the EU, Western Alliance and NATO today, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said Hungary will purchase Russian energy in rubles.  With the overwhelming support of the Hungarian people behind him, Prime Minister Orban is not going to be kowtowed by Brussels pressure.

BUDAPEST/LONDON, April 6 (Reuters) – Hungary said on Wednesday it was prepared to pay rubles for Russian gas, breaking ranks with the European Union which has sought a united front in opposing Moscow’s demand for payment in the currency.

Hungary will pay for shipments in rubles if Russia asks it to, Prime Minister Viktor Orban told a news conference on Wednesday in reply to a Reuters question.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned Europe it risks having gas supplies cut unless it pays in rubles as he seeks retaliation over Western sanctions for Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine.

[…] Hungary’s Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto earlier said that EU authorities had “no role” to play in its gas supply deal with Russia, which was based on a bilateral contract between units of Hungarian state-owned MVM and of Gazprom.   The European Commission does not comment on declarations from national authorities, a spokesperson said.  (read more)

On April 10, the election in France will take place, and Macron is ahead for now with 27% of the vote. But Macron has been using his position as the European Union bloc’s president for six months. Macron has cleverly used this position as a powerbase toward a reelection bid by not merely pushing for a strong EU government, and surrendering French sovereignty to Brussels, but he has been using the Ukrainian crisis to justify his return to power.

Macron’s remarks have been closely watched at home as he is strategically using his EU position to win reelection. Macron has stated that he wants to add changes to the charter of fundamental rights of the European Union to make it “more explicit about environment protection and the recognition of the right to abortion” in an effort to “breathe new life” in Europe’s democratic values. He is also pitching a minimum wage or a “decent” minimum salary across the EU bloc and moving on reducing “inequalities” by fighting discrimination, which is the pitch of the World Economic Forum as to WHY a Great Reset is needed.

Macron has also said it’s time for the EU to “take action” to meet its environmental ambitions, including the bloc’s commitment to reach climate neutrality by 2050. That too is from the World Economic Forum agenda.

Macron also called on the EU to quickly draw up a new security plan to ease tensions with Russia. Many have seen Macron as using his position not to promote EU policies, but to boost his candidacy rather than caring about EU issues. Most of the opposition has pointed out his failure with dealing with the massive migration into Europe. He had 5 years to deal with that and has done nothing.

For now, Macron is basking in the limelight of Zelensky and the threat of Putin to Europe. But our model shows that this will be the last president to be elected in the Fifth Republic of France. Jacques Chirac (1932–2019) was elected in 1995 initially as a Gaullist, but he turned Neo-Gaullist, and thus the slippery slope of France began. We will see a new government emerge by 2030. The risk of a European war will be at its peak in 2027. There will be NO return to normal!

Remember, Rome lasted for 1,000 years, but it collapsed in just 8.6 years.
