China has begun to ration fuel amid the ongoing energy crisis. As reported by the BBC, trucks in China may only fill their tanks with 100 liters (10% capacity) of diesel, with other areas reportedly only allowing 25 liters. The city of Fuyang is limiting purchases and charging drivers a surcharge of up to 300 yuan to fill up their tanks. The fuel shortage will affect both domestic and international goods as trucks simply cannot drive to their destinations. Despite surging demand, all fossil fuels are in tight supply and have seen drastic upticks in price. Jeremy Stevens, Chief China Economist at Standard Bank, told the BBC from Beijing that companies have already begun using diesel generators to maintain factory operations. World leaders are urging this instant switch to renewable energy and net-zero emissions, but the technology does not currently exist to power the world. The energy crisis will contribute to supply shortages worldwide.

During a House Judiciary Committee hearing last week, Representative Thomas Massie questioned Attorney General Merrick Garland about FBI agents and possible FBI informants planted in the crowd in DC to organize events.
Within the questioning, Massie presented AG Garland with a picture of Ray Epps, a former leader with the Arizona chapter of Oath Keepers attempting to agitate the crowd.
Massie also played a video [also below], highlighting how Ray Epps was one of the key people trying to stir up trouble and create an agitated mob response.
Ray Epps is an interesting possibility for an FBI operative, because he was never arrested or charged by the FBI.
As pointed out by Sean Davis on Twitter, “At one point, the FBI had his picture up on its page of people it wanted to question (Photograph 16). Not only was he not arrested, his picture was quietly removed from the FBI “Capitol Violence” page.”
The issues of Ray Epps not being arrested; and then his photograph mysteriously being removed; can be reconciled by a hypothesis that Epps was actually working for -and operating with instructions from- the FBI itself.
Perhaps I am wrong, but the only time I can recall in modern U.S. history that aggressive and illegal federal activity was halted mid-effort, was the example of the Clive Bundy ranch in 2014. Armed citizens forced federal authorities, including the FBI, to back down.
In response to their loss, former AG Eric Holder vowed to revive “a domestic terrorism task force.” Contemplate that response against the 2021 statements of the FBI saying domestic violent extremists (DVE’s) represent the greatest threat. Can you see the connective tissue?
From the worldview of the DOJ/FBI, law-abiding U.S. citizens – pushed to the point of taking up defensive arms against federal agents – are a threat. Ergo, the newest definition of “Domestic Violent Extremists, or DVEs”, to define who the FBI view as their most substantive enemy. Two years after the Clive Bundy Ranch standoff, the FBI shot and killed LaVoy Finicum, fulfilling their promise to eliminate extremists as defined by their worldview.
The FBI was fully aware of the Boston Marathon bombers, the Tsarnaev brothers, before they executed their plot. The FBI took no action. The FBI knew about the San Bernardino terrorists, specifically Tasfeen Malik, and were monitoring her phone calls and communications before her and Syed Farook executed their attack killing 14 people and leaving 22 others seriously injured. The FBI took no action. The FBI knew Colorado grocery store shooter Ahmad Alissa before he executed his attack. The FBI took no action.
The FBI knew in advance of the Pulse Nightclub shooter (Omar Mateen) and were tipped off by the local sheriff. The FBI knew in advance of the San Bernardino Terrorists (Tashfeen Malik). The FBI knew in advance of the Boston Marathon Bombers (the Tsarnaev brothers) tipped off by Russians. The FBI knew in advance of the Parkland High School shooter (Nikolas Cruz). The FBI knew in advance of the Fort Hood shooter (Nidal Hasan), and the FBI knew in advance of Colorado grocery store shooter Ahmad al-Aliwi Alissa. The FBI took no action.
Consider the case of the first recorded ISIS attack on U.S. soil in Garland, Texas in 2015. The FBI not only knew the shooters (Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi) in advance, the FBI took the shooters to the venue and were standing only a few yards away when Simpson and Soofi opened fire. Yes, you read that correctly – the FBI took the terrorists to the event and then watched it unfold. “An FBI trainer suggested in an interview with “60 Minutes” that, had the attack been bigger, the agency’s numerous ties to the shooter would have led to a congressional investigation.”
Remember, shortly before the 2018 mid-term election, when Ceasar Syoc – a man living in his van – was caught sending “energetic material that can become combustible when subjected to heat or friction”, or what FBI Director Christopher Wray called “not hoax devices“? Remember how sketchy everything about that was, including the child-like perpetrator telling a judge later than he was trying to walk back his guilty plea because he was tricked into signing a confession for a crime he did not create.
Or more recently, the goofball plot to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer that involved 18 suspects, twelve of them actually working for the FBI as the plot was hatched? And we cannot forget the January 6th. DC protest turned insurrection effort, which is clearly looking like an FBI inspired and coordinated effort.
Have we forgotten the Atlanta “Olympic Park Bombing”, and the FBI intentionally setting up transparently innocent, Richard Jewel?
Then, there’s the entirety of the FBI conduct in “Spygate”, the demonstrably evident FBI operation to conduct political surveillance against Donald Trump using their investigative authorities; and the downstream consequences of a massive institutional effort to cover up one of the biggest justice department scandals in the history of our nation. The original effort against Donald Trump used massive resources from the DOJ and FBI. Heck, the coverup operation using the Mueller/Weissmann special counsel used more than 50 investigative FBI agents alone.
And of course, the FBI still had 13 extra agents available to rush to a NASCAR racetrack to investigate a garage door pull-down rope that might have been perceived as a noose; but the serial rape of hundreds of teenage girls, eh, not-so-much effort – even when they are standing in front of the FBI begging for help.
[At this point, I am increasingly convinced by evidence the FBI themselves are the perpetrators involved in frequent sex trafficking operations, human smuggling and abduction as part of their operational mission.]
It is important to realize what exactly happened in the case of the Olympic gymnasts and the rape of hundreds of teenage girls.
When the victims and parents told the FBI about what Larry Nassar was doing, the FBI did not bungle the investigation. The FBI did not investigate it. However, worse still, after the parents kept coming back to the FBI to ask what was going on; and report that other parents were now reporting new rapes and sexual assaults were ongoing; the FBI told those parents an investigation was ongoing. Except it wasn’t. The FBI was lying.
As the FBI was telling the victims they were investigating Larry Nassar, the FBI was doing no such thing. The FBI was lying to the victims and their families. The FBI was not taking any action whatsoever to address the multitude of claims against Nassar.
After the FBI was caught lying about their conduct, they then lied to the internal oversight, the OIG, about everything surrounding their conduct.
In the Nassar example the FBI didn’t make a mistake, or drop the proverbial ball, they intentionally and specifically maintained the sexual exploitation of teenage girls by doing absolutely nothing with the complaints they received. This is not misconduct, this is purposeful.
Then, as if to apply salt to the open wound of severe FBI politicization….what did the FBI do with the Hunter Biden laptop?
What the Federal Security Service (FSB) is to the internal security of the Russian state; so too is the FBI in performing the same function for the U.S. federal government.
The FBI is a U.S. version of the Russian “State Police”; and the FBI is deployed -almost exclusively- to attack domestic enemies of those who control government; while they protect the interests of the U.S. Fourth Branch of Government. That is the clear and accurate domestic prism to contextualize their perceived mission: “domestic violent extremists pose the greatest threat” to their objective.
Put another way, “We The People”, who fight against government abuse and usurpation, are the FBI’s actual and literal enemy.
Let me be very clear with another brutally obvious example. Antifa could not exist as an organization; capable to organize and carry out violent attacks against their targets; without the full support of the FBI. If the FBI wanted to arrest members of Antifa, who are actually conducting violence, they could do it easily – with little effort.
It is the absence of any action by the FBI toward Antifa, that tells us the FBI is enabling that violent extremist behavior to continue. Once you accept that transparent point of truth; then, you realize the FBI definition of domestic violent extremism is something else entirely.
The FBI is not a law enforcement or investigative division of the U.S. Department of Justice. The FBI is a political weapon of a larger institution that is now focused almost entirely toward supporting a radical communist agenda to destroy civil society in the United States.
Anyone who continues to push the fraudulent “honorable FBI rank and file talking point”, is, at this point in history, willfully and purposefully operating to deceive the American people on behalf of government interests who are intent on destroying us. It is not a difference of opinion any longer. It is a matter of just accepting what is staring us directly in the face.

At 1:00am on August 25th, Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats came to an agreement on a massive spending proposal. The Senate previously passed a $1.5 trillion “infrastructure” bill, and a group of 9 House moderates -led by Josh Gottheimer- wanted to see it pass. However, the far-left progressive caucus wanted their $3.5 trillion social spending package which includes Green New Deal spending passed as part of the total budget agenda. {Go Deep} For the past two months, the House Democrats have been working with Senate Democrats on the scale of the social spending package.
The ultra far-left communists and Democrat socialists have been negotiating on the social spending part. They agreed to settle for 1.75 trillion in fundamental change and there’s approximately 10 House republicans that will also support it, but the AOC wing wants more. The previously passed $1.5 trillion sits on Nancy Pelosi’s desk until it can be paired with the $1.75+ trillion social spending component.
The House Rules Committee is putting the legislative language together for the latest 1,600 page social spending part [you can see here], but the issue of constructing a bill that will pass the Senate is still problematic. Pelosi was hoping for a vote today, and Joe Biden begged Democrats earlier to get it passed because his polling numbers continue to collapse. The communists (AOC/Bernie Sanders caucus) and socialists (ordinary Democrats) are at loggerheads.

Well, well, well…. Unfortunately this is not a surprise. Former Virginia Governor and current candidate Terry McAuliffe sits atop the executive suites in what remains of the Clinton political tribe. McAuliffe is very close to the Clinton crime syndicate in all aspects of his politics.
As noted by Jonathan Turley, a concerned candidate McAuliffe has now enlisted the assistance of Clinton’s corrupt legal consigliere Mark Elias.
A verklempt Mr. Turley is shocked, shocked that a politician of McAulliffe’s pedigree would hire a known Machiavellian type like Mr. Elias:
Turley – “Elias has not been criminally charged in his actions related to the 2020 election. Yet, bringing Elias into the Virginia race in the midst of the Durham investigation is an astonishing decision by McAuliffe. There are a host of election lawyers but McAuliffe selected an attorney accused of lying to the media, advancing rejected conspiracy theories, and currently involved in a major federal investigation that has already led to the indictment of his former partner.” (read more)
Elias hails from the ever-familiar Perkins Coie law firm and has a specialty in assisting with corrupt election activity, and then defending against any effort to reveal it in the aftermath.
In the Virginia governors race, the White House will support the efforts of Elias (meaning, the DOJ/FBI will take a vacation for a few weeks) because handlers just added Joe Biden’s credibility to the equation by having the White House occupant campaign there.
Knowing they needed to take advantage of the COVID window of opportunity, Virginia previously codified their mail-in ballot schemes into state election law. Putting the entire operation into perspective, with mail-in ballots, ballot harvesters and Mark Elias in place, the Democrats now have all the tools needed to win the Virginia election next week.
The only thing remaining is for Rupert Murdoch to tell Bret Baier whether to call the race for McAuliffe earlier in the day from fabricated exit polls or wait a few seconds until after the polls actually close.

The “factcheckers” at leftist internet domains like PolitiFact continue efforts to bend reality into pretzel shapes to match their preferred worldview.
In most cases it’s subtle and silly; however, sometimes –like this– they just cross into the theater of the absurd:
Water isn’t actually wet folks, according to PolitiFact it’s just lacking dryness. LOL

The real problem with stuff like this is the natural erosion that takes place when people lie and manipulate. The drip, drip, drip of institutional and partisan filtration eventually culminates in a question like: ‘Why don’t people trust the vaccine‘?

Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling and lead investigator Sgt. Michael Luell held a press briefing today outlining evidence of widespread election law violations in the state of Wisconsin.
According to a detailed investigation conducted by their office, election laws were violated in long-term care facilities and resulted in class I felony crimes being committed.
Part of the evidence outlined by Sergent Luell includes the Wisconsin Election Commission (WEC) sending instructions to residential care facilities in March 2020 telling administrators of the facilities to violate the law and fill out the ballots on behalf of their residents regardless of the legal ramifications. WISCONSIN – […] The Sheriff’s Office is alleging that the Wisconsin Elections Commission repeatedly broke the law when it advised municipalities throughout the state to not follow state law and no longer require “Special Voting Deputies” to go into nursing homes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Typically, SVDs include one Republican volunteer and one Democratic volunteer who go into a nursing home to ensure that those want to vote but cannot physically make it to the polls are able to cast an absentee ballot. That law was waived by a bipartisan vote of the WEC throughout 2020, which the RCSO alleges is illegal and should be considered “election fraud” under Wisconsin statute. According to the investigation, staff members acted as SVDs, even though state law was supposed to have prohibited this. (read more)

When I first saw the headline about Joe Biden paying illegal aliens $450,000 per person in reparations, I thought it was a joke. So I contacted a friend who works for DHS in Washington DC to check. I just received independent confirmation this story is entirely legit.
The Justice Department, Health and Human Services and Dept of Homeland Security are in negotiations with representatives from the ACLU and lawyers representing illegal aliens to pay out $1,000,000 per family for the hardship they endured in crossing the border illegally in 2017 and 2018. Approximately 1,000 families will each receive a million dollars giving the total settlement a taxpayer cost of around $1 billion or more.
WASHINGTON—The Biden administration is in talks to offer immigrant families that were separated during the Trump administration around $450,000 a person in compensation, according to people familiar with the matter, as several agencies work to resolve lawsuits filed on behalf of parents and children who say the government subjected them to lasting psychological trauma.
The U.S. Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services are considering payments that could amount to close to $1 million a family, though the final numbers could shift, the people familiar with the matter said. Most of the families that crossed the border illegally from Mexico to seek asylum in the U.S. included one parent and one child, the people said. Many families would likely get smaller payouts, depending on their circumstances, the people said.
The American Civil Liberties Union, which represents families in one of the lawsuits, has identified about 5,500 children separated at the border over the course of the Trump administration, citing figures provided to it by the government. The number of families eligible under the potential settlement is expected to be smaller, the people said, as government officials aren’t sure how many will come forward. Around 940 claims have so far been filed by the families, the people said.

Not everyone in DHS or DOJ agrees with this massive payout to illegal aliens. However, the pressure from within the system to pay off those who were impacted by separation in the 2018 border security program is likely to end up being successful.

As the impacts of the various vaccination mandates take shape, it is worth a review of the current status as it impacts you and your family on a local basis.
As noted by a reader in Washington state, the cleaving of society on vaccinated status is having an unusual impact on many regions even within individual states.
As one anecdotal report is told, the eastern side of Washington state is essentially functioning as before the vaccination mandate; while the western side is seeing a substantial breakdown in local civic society.
Mandates by local officials are creating issues for local services. Local police, fire and first responders are leaving their jobs, creating issues for those in the leftist side of Washington state. Meanwhile the eastern, or more conservative side of the state, is relatively not impacted.
In another cleaving anecdote one business owner in southern California has told a rebel alliance member to discontinue the use of services from a vendor who does not share the leftist political perspectives of the owner; while other right-minded business owners (in the same industry) are looking specifically to gain advantage by seeking out vendors who are skilled, stable and independent.
As would be expected, the vaccination cleaving is creating two unique classes of workers and owners/operators. Those with the best expertise, skillset and work ethic all fall into the group who are more independently minded and not prone to the inherent peer pressure created by the vaccine mandate.
While the data is all still raw in this new cleaved socioeconomic environment, it does appear -in the aggregate- the unvaxxed are better workers, better problem solvers and carry a stronger work ethic. The vaxxed workforce, owners and operators appear less than.
This brings up an interesting dynamic that is still unfolding amid various regions. So the questions posed are these:

How are the various vaccine mandates impacting your area?

The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) has released the first estimate of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the third quarter (July, Aug, Sept). [DATA HERE] The top line number of two percent GDP growth is significantly worse than most economists and financial pundits expected.
The second quarter GDP was 6.7%, so a slow down to 2% is very significant considering the economy should be rebounding and reopening after the COVID-19 impacts. However, when we dig into the details [Table One] you will see how what is happening in your life is actually reflected in the data. None of this should be a surprise, as the data is simply reflecting what is happening in your personal checkbook economics.
First, here’s the media jaw agape, with false explanations and justifications:

The drop has nothing to do with the ‘delta variant’, and everything -EVERYTHING- to do with inflation and impacts from Joe Biden’s economic policies.
Let’s take a look at the details, and you will see how the national GDP is simply a reflection on what we are doing to survive the Biden economy.
GDP growth is the measure of what is happening inside the U.S. economy. GDP reflects the value of goods and services produced in the U.S. minus the value of goods and services we import from outside the U.S.
Consumer spending represents two-thirds of our overall U.S. economy. When Americans stop buying stuff, our GDP drops.
A few things to remember about the value of goods and services. Inventories are an asset, increases in the inventories of goods we produce is a positive driver of GDP. Those inventories become sales, and those sales are also calculated in the value of goods we build, like houses. Considering how much housing values have increased; and considering how much more value that should add to the GDP overall; when the economy “decelerates”, as housing values increase, that tells you something is profoundly askew.
Consumer spending represents two-thirds of our overall GDP growth. Now take a look at the data in Table-1
Notice what is highlighted? Massive drops in consumer purchases of Goods (-9.2%), specifically in consumer spending for ‘Durable goods’ -26.2%
That statistic should not come as a surprise to those CTH readers who have followed along in the past few months. That statistic is simply a reflection of what we are doing. We are paying so much more for energy, gasoline, fuel, housing and food (all driven by inflation), that we are not spending on durable goods like cars, trucks, or long term appliances, electronics or other non-essential items.
-26.2% in one quarter is a massive contraction in the purchasing of durable goods. However, it should not be a surprise. Overall inflation increased 5.4% in the third quarter as measured within this first estimate analysis of GDP. However, inflation on food and gasoline was more than four to eight times higher, respectively, than overall inflation. As a result, disposable income has collapsed:
“Disposable personal income decreased $29.4 billion, or 0.7 percent, in the third quarter”, according to the top line first analysis. However, again this is a preliminary estimation and reflects a very skewed data point. With inflation on essential items running much higher than wage growth, the -0.7 percent first estimate for personal income is profoundly generous to the Biden administration. We can expect the second estimate in late November -with more complete details- to be a significant downward revision because disposable incomes have dropped much more than -0.7%.
Purchases for durable goods do not drop by 26% with only 0.7% drops in income. Look at your own checkbook economics. All of us blue-collar and working class folks are hunkering down and prioritizing food, fuel and home heating costs. We are not out buying new stuff.
Private residential sales are down 7.7% in the July, August, Sept, period according to the BEA data. Remember when CTH said at a macro level housing prices peaked in the last two weeks of May and first two weeks of June? There’s another supportive data-point.
Yes, there are regional impacts from relocation that are driving home values up in key regions like Florida and some suburban neighborhoods as people flee the crazy. However, overall home values have peaked, and only institutional investors (not families) are purchasing them now. Those institutional investors are buying property because they need tangible assets…. because their paper assets are extremely vulnerable. Vanguard and Blackrock purchasing houses gives them a tangible asset they can then leverage for pennies on the dollar for more low interest loans from the fed. Those houses are then turned into rental incomes feeding the mothership.
Lastly, exports should be a benefit to GDP, but as you can see in Table-1 exports are -2.5%, we are exporting less value in part because the value of our currency has dropped so dramatically.
The bottom line is this. The first estimate of Q3 GDP growth is merely a reflection of what you know is happening in your life and around your neighborhood. The next revision to this data (late November) will be lower than the first estimate because you can see the first estimate has not yet caught up to the current status as it existed in September.
