COMMENT #1: I understand and appreciate your skepticism about conspiracies. However, before the covid attack and the sell off in the stock market last March, you did not believe in conspiracy theories at all. You thought the world was run by stupid people and they were incapable of doing anything like what we are witnessing. You commented many times your surprise at how well funded and organized this has been. I wished back then you were right. Now I hope your wrong again (about conspiracy). So maybe a little humble pie is in order the next time you say you don’t believe in conspiracies.

REPLY: No. There have always been conspiracies to try to do things. What I have said and it still holds today: no CONSPIRACY has ever SUCCEEDED. This is a clip from “The Forecaster.”  I always traded against these people. I was asked to join many times. I have always refused. I was invited by Edmond Safra to the IMF dinner he put on in Washington renting the entire National Gallery. I was told by them, “Join us.” They had the IMF in their pocket. I said no, I advised the people to whom the IMF went to ask for money.

This has been a conspiracy that has been better funded than I expected. That is true. Mainly because it is a merger of Gates, Soros, and Schwab. Each had a different objective, but they agreed to combine. Like the Democrats. It is really a conglomeration of many groups from women to transsexuals and socialists all with only a common objective of hating Republicans. Individually, they have different goals.

They cannot create a conspiracy to manipulate a market. If they even could, then they would not blow up and constantly ask governments to bail them out. That alone proves my point — conspiracies do not succeed.

As for this elaborate conspiracy to change the world economy, they will destroy much of our world economy, inspire war, but their grand dream of forcing and controlling this Fourth Industrial Revolution will be transformed into dust. We will begin to witness its faults by 2022.

It is truly insightful, having watched the inauguration of Biden on the UK BBC1.
It is all hope and glory, patriotism, great times ahead etc…..presented by them.
Am seriously thinking of ‘Fucking off’ to another country as am getting older (46yrs).
Truthfully, am thinking Indonesia, despite their earthquake/volcano/ history.
Its time, for me and my closest, to move on.  Am tired, as you are, of this bullshit.
Just wanna normal life!!!!!

I cannot believe how many people believed this stuff. You are the only respectable voice in the extreme left and right confrontation.

REPLY: I understand this looks really depressing, like a violent storm about to strike. Capital will make its decision pro or con by February. There may yet be a rise in separatist movements. There is a lot up in the air. I am getting emails from around the world. I had to do a video interview this morning from Germany.

Australia Imposes $50,000 Fine for Not Wearing Mask; Florida Beats New York

Brisbane has imposed a $50,000 fine for not wearing a mask. In Florida, we did not go insane. Most small businesses survived and we did not have draconian lockdowns. Florida has about 2 million more people than New York, and while New York ­reported 17,839 new cases, Florida had 15,445. The open policy in Florida has fewer COVID cases than New York, proving that the lockdowns have failed to work. Instead, lockdowns are destroying jobs and ensuring that there will be nothing to return to since the WHO is already telling people that 2021 will be WORSE than 2020! Even the number of people who have caught COVID in a restaurant is just 1.4% of the COVID cases. That does not justify destroying restaurants and society.

A Technical Study in the Relationships of Solar Flux, Water, Carbon Dioxide and Global Temperatures, December 2020 Data


Carbon Dioxide CO2 is not making “ANY” dangerous changes to the global temperature!

From the attached report on climate change for December 2020 Data we have the two charts showing how much the global temperature has actually gone up since we started to measure CO2 in the atmosphere? To show this graphically Chart 8 was constructed by plotting CO2 as a percent increase from when it was first measured in 1958, the Black plot, the scale is on the left and it shows CO2 going up by 32.0% from 1958 to December of 2020. That is a very large change as anyone would have to agree.  Now how about temperature, well when we look at the percentage change in temperature from 1958, using Kelvin (which does measure the change in heat), we find that the changes in global temperature (heat) are almost un-measurable. The scale on the right side had to be expanded 10 times (the range is 40 % on the left and 4% on the right) to be able to see the plot in the same chart in any detail. The red plot, starting in 1958, shows that the thermal energy in the earth’s atmosphere increased by .40%; while CO2 has increased by 32.0% which is 80 times that of the increase in temperature. So is there really a meaningful link between them that would give as a major problem? The numbers tell us no there isn’t.

The next chart is Chart 8a which is the same as Chart 8 except for the scales which are the same for both CO2 and Temperature. As you see the increase in energy, heat, is not visually observably in this chart hence the need for the previous chart 8 to show the minuscule increase in thermal energy shown by NASA in relationship to the change in CO2. Based to these trends, determined by excel not me, in 2028 CO2 will be 428 ppm and temperatures will be a bit over 15.0o Celsius and in 2038 CO2 will be 458 ppm and temperatures will be 15.6O Celsius. This is what the data shows no matter what the reasons are, so I have no idea how the IPCC gets to predict that the world will end in ten or even twenty years.

The full 40 page report explains how these charts were developed and why using NASA and NOAA data that are used without change to prove that The New Green Deal is not required and any attempt to complete that plan will be a worldwide disaster.

QUESTION: I just can’t understand why the military armed forces and secret intelligence services all agree with the Marxist left.  Why?

ANSWER: Make no mistake about it. The left seeks to enslave everyone out of fear. The mass of the military, military establishment, and the intelligence services want war. They do not want peace. After the collapse of Communism, they did not like that. Their budgets were reduced and it inspired a feeling of not being needed. Then they needed to create a new enemy and that became terrorism. They had no nuclear arms and their ranks were the size of perhaps an enrollment in a university. But they needed to be pumped up into a global threat. They fully knew of the plan for 9/11. The first crew even drew the Twin Towers on the walls of their cell with planes going into them, advertising they would be victorious.

Among the rank and file, I get a lot of emails. According to soldiers sending in emails, they put it as pro-Trump being 70% and concede that the military will probably spit in a civil war. But the “military” does not include the National Guard. They are who Pelosi disrespected by calling them “weekend warriors” on a phone call to the Pentagon asking for Marines. Her attitude is similar to any dictator who seeks to retain power. They always expect the military to kill their own people. Just look at Venezuela.

However, you must also look deeper. I have written before about the Nika Revolt which is an incredibly important event that leaders are well aware of.  The troops inside Constantinople would not kill their own people and the emperor was about to flee the city. His wife told him to order in a legion that was not Greek and were encamped outside the city. He did. They came in and massacred 40,000 people.

Perhaps you are too young to remember the “Kent State Massacre” where the Ohio National Guard killed four unarmed and wounded nine other students on May 4, 1970.  Then 10 days later, on May 14, two students were killed (and 12 wounded) by police at Jackson State University in Mississippi. This was all about the protests over the Vietnam War. President Nixon established the President’s Commission on Campus Unrest. It concluded that the killings were unjustified. It was found that even if the guardsmen faced danger, it was not a danger that called for lethal force. The report declared that 61 shots fired by 28 guardsmen certainly cannot be justified. Apparently, no order to fire was given. They just panicked. It was held back then that the Kent State tragedy must mark the last time that, as a matter of course, loaded rifles are issued to guardsmen confronting student demonstrators. That probably will not be the case this week.

The Gallup Poll at the time was interesting for the view was 58% of the people blamed the students. Just like the Capitol Siege, they looked at all the photographs, and 24 students were indicted with the May 4 demonstration or with the one at the ROTC building fire three days before. Five cases, all related to the burning of the ROTC building, went to trial. One non-student defendant was convicted, two other non-students pleaded guilty, and one was acquitted. All other charges were dismissed. As for the National Guard, five guardsmen were indicted and claimed to have fired in self-defense which was accepted.

It was during the Russian Revolution where the government expected the military to fire on the people. Yeltsin stood on the tank and begged them not to kill their own people. The troops stood down and the government fell. We too will reach such a point. However, if you look at the actions of Pelosi and the rhetoric coming out of CNN that anyone who voted for Trump is a Nazi or a member of KKK, there is no intention of the Biden Administration to be inclusive. This is a leftist purge, and make no mistake about it, they will NEVER tolerate opposition. It is the very nature of all Marxists — they need total control to force their ideals upon the world.

QUESTION:  Hi Martin, the dollar’s performance bucks logic, especially with Federal Reserve officials spending all week to deny any speculation of a tapering soon in relief measures or an imminent hike in interest rates standing at near zero.

But what made the whole thing even more bizarre was the dollar’s defiance of the rocketing U.S. deficit and debt forecast from the Biden’s administration’s fiscal plans to fight Covid-19.
Why is the dollar so strong? and why is Gold selling off? Are they being manipulated? When do you think we will see Gold go above 2k?

ANSWER: The CFTC data reflected the largest week-to-week turn against the dollar since early-Aug 2020 with the USD’s net short reaching its highest mark on record (in dollar terms) at USD35bn on the back of a USD3.7bn increase in favor of most of the currencies it would seem.

You must understand that we are dealing with a complete collapse in economic theories. This is why it may seem weird. That is why I released that book on Manipulating the World Economy. I am finishing a new chapter to add on COVID for the 5th edition. It keeps selling out in a matter of hours. There is a digital version available on our site.

What we are dealing with is the collapse in Keynesian Economics which held that an increase in the money supply would be inflationary which has proven to be false. The Goldbugs disagree with me but that is because they are so brainwashed but that rhetoric. The central banks have used that same theory and increased money supply hoping to create inflation without success. This is how Modern Monetary Theory has emerged saying after 6 years of QE and no inflation you can just print without impact. All of this ignored the bottom line. As long as people do NOT trust the future, they will hoard their money and not spend it even as the supply increases. You need to change that dynamic. They (1) suddenly believe that it will be more costly to wait to buy now, or (2) they lose confidence in the government and refuse to hold their money.

We are in a dangerous transition period and it will be confusing. You have to let go of your Keynesian indoctrination which centers around the Quantity of Money Theory that is what the central banks have continued to try to follow without any success. They do not understand the economy and the solutions are out of their control. They lie on the fiscal side and that has been totally corrupted by the World Economic Forum and Klaus Schwab.

Violent crimes are up 120% in the first 10 days in NYC for 2021 compared to 2020. While a portion of this has been inspired by the Democrats initially supporting the Defund Police before the election, most of the crime has risen simply because of the destruction in jobs thanks to lockdowns. The NYPD even announced that the “first eleven months of 2020 surged to levels unseen in years.” Gun arrests last November were up 112%. In fact, more than 70% of serious crimes in NYC go unsolved providing a greater incentive to engage in what’s your’s is mine mentality.

What our illustrious politicians fail to understand is that the middle-class and higher have a greater probability to be able to work remotely compared to the lower classes which rely on the physical presence as their means of income. The lockdowns have had a disproportionate impact upon the poor making them even poorer. Hence, the rise in violent crimes historically ALWAYS correlated to the economic decline as does eventually the rise in civil unrest and eventually war. People get bored. They will not be able to just sit home and watch TV because you hand them $600 checks now and then.

To defeat Trump, they allowed the Black Live Matter Movement to turn violent with fringe elements and ANTIFA to expand with impunity. They thought they would dethrone Trump and then go back to normal. They have unleashed nothing by violence and civil unrest which will continue to escalate into 2022.

The Rule of Law Crumbles

The House Judiciary ranking member Rep. Doug Collins delivered a speech on the floor against the Impeachment. What he points out is critical. Pelosi declared Trump guilty with no evidence and pushed it on him to prove he was innocent. She has indeed trashed the Constitution and in her personal vengeance to rush to impeach before he would leave office, she has not just rushed to judgment but revealed just how the United States has fallen from the rule of law. Once a nation abandons the rule of law, it cannot possibly survive.

It is one thing to write what Socrates is forecasting about the decline and fall of the United States and Western Society and something entirely different when one must watch that forecast unfold day by day. This speech of Mr. Collins was spot on. Pelosi simply hates Trump and was more eager to ensure that she did her best to try to destroy his image, his business, and she called upon her Social Media co-conspirators to shut down all comment that supported Trump or was anti-Democratic. In her actions from tearing up the State of the Union speech to this rush to impeach, Pelosi will be remembered as the vilest person to ever hold the position of Speaker of the House.

Every person who voted for this impeachment has revealed their total lack of respect for the Constitution. Her proxy votes meaning people were not even there and others voted for them was unheard of in the history of our nation. I am not a fan of career politicians. This incident has marked a new low. The former head of Russia, Gorbachev, has come out and stated that the Capitol invasion calls into question the stability of the US as a state. He is absolutely correct. The Democrat’s drive for socialism has brought the US to the bring of collapse claiming a 50.4% majority is somehow a mandate to crush the opposition with the help of Twitter and Facebook.

A reader has sent in a comment which is important to listen to people who have lived through such dark times.

I have been following your blog for the last 7 years. Sokrates’ analyses are astonishing. Coming from a postwar Generation, having fled in 1946 from the Communists in Czechoslovakia with my parents, who lost all the possessions in the Berlin bombings and what they salvaged to be taken by the Communists I feel deeply disturbed by the World events taking place. In Austria, we have Government Radio called FM4 targetting the younger Generation. Propaganda has reached a peak. In the news, they commented that, after the Capitol Event, Families are reporting on their next of kin with social media to the FBI!
This is exactly how Hitler started to divide and persecute the Population at large. The same Practice by the East German STASI Secret Police!°
The “Corona Laws ” throughout Europe with their insane Lockdowns are so deliberately Anti Constitution, to prepare us for Totalitarian Rule!
The Population in their blindness does not see it!! They even cheer to their own demise!!
