MAGAnomics – Second Quarter GDP Growth 2.1% Beats all Expectations – Inflation Low at 1.5%…

The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) has released the data for the second quarter of 2019.  The Q2 GDP growth rate of 2.1 percent beat all economic expectations, and highlights strong consumer spending throughout the U.S. economy.

The two primary drags on the Q2 release are also the most volatile: Export/Import contributions (-.65%), and Inventory contributions (-.86%) [table 2]. However, consumer spending was much stronger than anticipated (+4.3%) showing the internal strength of the U.S. labor market and the impact of wage growth which still exceeds 3.6 percent.

The inflation index is still low at 1.5 percent year-over-year, and highlights a point all economic pundits overlook.  With countries attempting to stop the impact of tariffs on their exports they are devaluing their currency (EU and China) and subsidizing their export industries (China).  This has the cumulative effect of lowering their price. As a consequence, and with a strong dollar, the U.S. is importing deflation.

The Fed can do nothing of substance to impact low price inflation because the causes are external to the U.S. economy.  CTH predicted this in 2016, and we stand by that assertion today because we now have almost three years of empirical data to prove it.

Wall Street wants bad news because Wall Street wants a lower fed rate.  As a direct consequence Wall Street’s multinational corporate media bias over the GDP data release is hilarious. The headline from NBC is typical: “Economic Growth Slows Less Than Expected in Second Quarter”….    Sometimes you just have to laugh.

When you boil it all down you see the same battle continues: Wall Street -vs- Main Street.

We are in the space of flux where President Trump’s economic policy and trade reset is favoring Main Street blue-collar workers and companies.

Another way to look at it is where the multinationals (Wall St) are Globalists and fighting the economic Nationalists (Main Street).  This really is the heart of the back-n-forth, and there are trillions at stake.

Right now the U.S. middle-class is driving the economy, bigly.  Meanwhile the investment class is trying to keep their old globalist process in place.  Wall Street wants the U.S. to be a “service driven” economy.  President Trump wants the U.S. to be a “balanced production” economy, with an expanding middle-class.

The Wall Street economy generates a wealth disparity; rich and poor with little room in the middle [a limited pie].  A Main Street economy closes the wealth gap by expanding the wealth of the middle-class through higher wages and opportunity [unlimited pie making].

Overall the 3.1% GDP growth in the first quarter and 2.1% GDP growth in the second quarter, puts us on track for typically stronger Q3 to generate a higher than 3.0 percent average.

All of the internals, measurable stats centered around Main Street, are excellent.  It is the externals, measurable stats centered around Wall Street multinational interests, that are weak.  This is exactly what we would expect to see as President Trump focuses on Main Street USA.

It is not a coincidence that the U.S. and Japan are the world’s two strongest economies as the dynamic of Globalists -vs- Nationalists continues.

Mueller was just not Credible

QUESTION: Marty, it seems the Mueller’s testimony was really bad for the Democrats and it looks like Mueller refused to investigate the fact that Hillary paid for the Steele Dossier which started this whole investigation. How can Mueller investigate everything but not Hillary and the Steele Dossier?

ANSWER: You are correct. Mueller claimed ignorance. He was paid millions of dollars to investigate Hillary’s accusations based on the Steele Dossier but then claimed he never heard of the company that created that dossier. It is just not credible. If you are the head of such an investigation and you produce the 448 pages report, you should know everything from at the bare minimum a broad overview. He refused to implicate Hillary or the Democrats. This was purely political. Here is the transcript:

CHABOT: 103, that’s correct, Volume 2. When you talk about the–the firm that produced the Steele reporting, the name of the firm that produced that was Fusion GPS. Is that correct?

MUELLER: I–I’m not familiar with–with that. I–could you–

CHABOT: –Let me just help you–

MUELLER: –Can you–

CHABOT: –It was. It’s not–it’s not a trick question or anything. It was Fusion GPS.
Now, Fusion GPS produced the opposition research document widely–widely known as the Steele dossier. And the owner of Fusion GPA was someone named Glenn Simpson. Are you familiar with that name?

MUELLER: This is outside my purview.

CHABOT: Okay. Glenn Simpson was never mentioned in the 448 page Mueller report, was he?

MUELLER: Well, as I–as I say, it’s outside my purview and it’s being handled in the department by others.

Epstein Held in New York Version of Guantánamo

Jeffrey Epstein was being housed in the “10 South” unit, commonly known as the “HOLE” which is a 24- hour lock-down where they also keep terrorists which is very strange just pending trial. This is not about Epstein but who he could implicate. It has been called America’s Gulag and the Guantánamo hid in New York City nobody is allowed to know about. It’s where America violates human rights all the time but keeps as its dirty little secret. MCC 10 South is where the government keeps federal inmates, including alleged terrorists, to cut them off from the world with no regular access to visits or telephones. The treatment in 10 South is the worst a human being can endure and it will drive many humans to choose suicide to indefinite imprisonment under such conditions.

Most suicides in MCC take place where Epstein is being held so much so that a psychiatrist visits usually once every other week or so to check on the inmates held in this torture chamber. Epstein’s cell-mate was Nicholas Tartaglione, who is a former Briarcliff Manor cop that faces the death penalty in four drug-related killings upstate. He claims he was wearing earbuds when investigators went to question him about the incident. There is no possible way that a cell-mate would not have known if the other guy tried to commit suicide.

 

 

Naturally, the government response is that Epstein may have staged suicide to be moved to a different prison. That is absurd for MCC is a holding center for people pending trial, not a “prison” for sentenced inmates. Because Epstein is not found “guilty” he cannot go to a real prison. MCC has no prison yard. There is no grass or trees. You are inside a high rise building with no sun. The only other place he could be transferred to is Brooklyn’s MCC, which is no real difference.

Inmates are often killed by others as a cover-up so the government can blame them but strangely they manage to get some sort of deal. My bet is that Tartaglione will NEVER face the death penalty. I know the conspiracy groups are already blaming Clinton. But Epstein probably goes way beyond just Hillary and Clinton as the new New York play was entitled (which rumor has it the Clinton’s had shut down). This may rise well beyond that so I do not believe that Epstein will ever see a trial.

The Next Solar Cycle Begins in 2020 & May be a Panic Decline in Solar Activity

Our computer correlates everything from economics to nature. We have been warning that the next 8.6-year wave in the Economic Confidence Model appears to be one of inflation. This should be a cost-push version, meaning not DEMAND but shortages. One of the serious correlations we see is that the next solar cycle of 11 years may be the lowest in at least 200 years on our model, which calls for the low in a wave of 224 years to be precise.

Our forecast for this next solar cycle of activity, which rises and falls in an 11-year cycle, is indeed in a bearish trend but it correlates with the ECM – which is rare. If our computer is correct, then the next solar cycle should be at least one-third less solar activity and it could rise to a panic type of declineof 50% as measured in terms of sunspots. This analysis warns that the next cycle will start in 2020 and reach its maximum in 2025. This further warns not of global warming, but highly volatile weather and crop failures as we hit both extremes.

The next two solar cycles will be the risk of violent weather and global cooling.

When will Epstein be found Dead? Before or After a Deal?

QUESTION: Do you think Jeffrey Epstein will ever go to trial?

ANSWER: NO WAY!!!!!! First of all, if the court were fair, he should be on bail where he offered to pay for 24 hrs guards, wear a bracelet, and surrender his passport. There was no way he could have fled and this would have allowed him to be safe and secure. Throwing him in MCC ensures that (1) there will never be a fair trial, and (2) he must make a deal or (3) he will be killed one way or another. Epstein will hang himself, so they will say, or be killed by a fellow inmate who will take the blame for time off his bid.

No high profile case is EVER allowed to go to trial where things the government does not want to be revealed could ever become public.  The Death in Custody Reporting Act of 2000, which collected similar data from states, expired in 2006, so it is next to impossible to get any data on even how many inmates commit suicide no less under what condition they are determined to be suicides rather than strategic murders.

Either Epstein will be found dead claiming suicide because he had remorse, or he will make a deal and then probably will be found dead of some heart attack afterward. I would be shocked if there would EVER be a public trial allowed.

Note: When I wrote this, there was no news yet. Subsequently, Epstein was found nearly dead in his cell with injuries to his neck. They are refusing to explain what took place, as always, claiming they are not certain if he was attacked or was it an attempted suicide. He is in the hole. If he was not alone, that raises questions. But once someone like this is thrown into MCC, he has little chance of surviving.

Climate Change is about Overthrowing Capitalism

The Extinction Rebellion, formed in 2018, appears to be an extreme anarchist group that is using climate as an excuse to overthrow governments. Climate change has become a movement that advocates a hostile takeover of the world economy to end capitalism. This movement of climate protestors in Britain known as the Extinction Rebellion has a very subversive agenda. Their agenda is in line with the Green New Deal in the USA, which is deeply rooted in political extremism or what we might call today eco-socialism which is very anti-capitalism. It is clear that some on the fringes of the movement might at some point break with organizational discipline and engage in violence/terrorism as a justification for public protest to bring about change.

What is very interesting is the fact that there is obviously a movement using climate change as the excuse to impose socialism and overthrow capitalism. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (AOC) Green New Deal, and how the world will come to an end in just 12 years, has been using climate change to overthrow capitalism. Even if this were a real threat, there is no possible way to end all automobiles and air traffic in 12 years to save the planet. Tucker Carlson took on Robert Hockett, who advised Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on the Green New Deal. He managed to get him to admit that the world will not end in 12 years. He admitted that they are using climate change to overthrow the entire economy.
