Sunday Talks – Vivek Ramaswamy Outlines Intention of New Dept of Government Efficiency

The co-chair of the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Vivek Ramaswamy, appears with Maria Bartiromo to discuss the goals and intentions of the DOGE effort.

Ms Bartiromo continues to pull the conversation back to the need for Ramaswamy and Musk to go to the legislative branch for permission to reduce government waste.  Over and over again, Ms Bartiromo frames this discussion around: DOGE must go to congress for permission.

Note to Ms. Bartiromo.  DOGE is an initiative of the Executive Branch; specifically, an authorized agency with authorized officials carrying the plenary and absolute power of the Presidency.  The President is the Executive.  The Dept of Govt Efficiency, along with all of the other institutions and offices mentioned by Bartiromo, are subsidiaries within the Executive Branch.

This is the Executive Branch, a plenary power, reducing the size of the Executive Branch and eliminating waste within the Executive Branch.  There is no part of this effort that needs permission, authorization or approval from the Legislative Branch.  That entire line of thinking is structurally flawed.  WATCH:

.

President Trump does not have to go to congress to do something entirely within the Executive Branch.

When I watch Ms Bartiromo frame these arguments on completely fraudulent constitutional premises’, I begin to question the motives of Ms Bartiromo.  There’s something else happening here with Bartiromo and her steering “congress, congress, congress” narrative.  I’m not wrong.

Ann Selzer Announces Retirement from Polling to Seek “Other Ventures and Opportunities”

Those who walk the deep weeds of politics immediately recognized that Ann Selzer had cashed-out and was going to retire after she transmitted the ridiculous polling that showed Kamala Harris was going to win Iowa by +3 points.  The prediction was laughable, and the result showcased just how silly it was, Trump +13.

The reality was that Selzer, and the ideologues around her, posted the bogus weekend election poll in order to fuel an attempted “pro-abortion” narrative and boost female turnout in the November 5th election.  The Sunday talks and corporate media ran with the narrative from the baseline of Selzer’s fraud.

Today Ann Selzer announces her retirement, “in order to pursue other ventures and opportunities.”

IOWA – Public opinion polling has been my life’s work. I collected my first research data as a freshman in college, if you don’t count a neighborhood poll I did at age 5. I’ve always been fascinated with what a person could learn from a scientific sample of a meaningful universe.

Beyond election polls, my favorite projects were helping clients learn something they did not know to help them evaluate options for their companies, institutions or causes. That work may well continue, but I knew a few years ago that the election polling part of my career was headed to a close.

[…] My integrity means a lot to me. To those who have questioned it, there are likely no words to dissuade. For those who know me best, I appreciate the supportive notes and calls reminding me that what drew me to them as friends, colleagues and clients was commitment to truth and accuracy — both in my professional and my personal relationships. Are Betting Odds Better than Polls?

Posted originally on Nov 4, 2024 By Martin Armstrong

Betting_Odds 2016

QUESTION: Mr. Armstrong, Thank you for being so honest. I like how you separate your opinion from the computer. My question is simple. Do you give credence to the betting odds being more accurate than the polls?

See you next week

Frank

Newsweek Madam President Hillary Clinton R

ANSWER: The polls are often wrong, and the betting odds do not seem much better. In 2016, the odds of a Hillary victory were 88% compared to 13% for Trump. Our computer called it correctly, as was the case with BREXIT. With over 70 million in early voting, the computer will be correct on the turnout.

More voters (154.6 million) turned out for the presidential election in 2020 than in 2016 (137.5 million), the most significant increase between consecutive presidential elections since record-keeping began in 1964. The problem with the 2020 election was the scare tactics using COVID. The mail-in ballots were 65,642,049. The combined early voting and mail-in during 2016 was only 12.6 million. With early voting exceeding 70 million, this is by far the largest turnout for early voting in history.

Hungary’s Orban Reminds Europe if Trump Wins, They’ll Have to Adjust the Pro-War Stance Toward Ukraine

First, a repeat of what I have said for over two years, “WATCH MOLDOVA“ – Their vote is today.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban recently reminded the EU collective, they will need to revise their pro-war stance if President Donald Trump wins the election on Tuesday.  Orban is a good friend of President Trump and ideological ally of MAGA.

Despite the trillions at stake and the WEF/EU alignment that continues promoting the meat grinder in Ukraine, Prime Minister Orban is well aware that things will seismically change if President Donald Trump wins and brings the peace solution to the frenzy.

(Via Politico) – A Donald Trump victory in the United States election on Nov. 5 would force the European Union to adapt its stance on the war in Ukraine, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said Sunday.

“Europe cannot bear the burden of [the war] alone, and if Americans switch to peace, then we also need to adapt, and this is what we will discuss in Budapest,” Orbán said, according to a Reuters report, referring to a Nov. 7-8 meeting of European leaders in the Hungarian capital.

Orbán also reiterated his support for Trump ahead of Tuesday’s election, which sees the former U.S. president up against current Vice President Kamala Harris.

Stressing that a Trump victory is something that “I not only believe in but I also read the numbers that way,” the Hungarian leader said that “we [in Europe] need to realize that if there will be a pro-peace president in America … then Europe cannot remain pro-war.” (read more)

With a President Trump win, the democrats will immediately start banging the loud drum of The Logan Act, nonsensically trying to stop Russia and Ukraine from any ceasefire or cessation of hostilities before President Trump takes office.

Watch the Dept of State, CIA and DOJ immediately start referencing the ridiculous Logan Act.  It’s as predictable as the sunrise.

Britain An Unprecedented Economic Decline into 2026

Posted originally on Nov 1, 2024 By Martin Armstrong |

2024_10_29_07_16_13_Sir_Keir_Starmer_suffers_biggest_fall_in_popularity_for_new_prime_minister

Aside from the collapse in Starmer’s popularity, he has confirmed our forecast for Britain. The left never saw someone they did not want to shake down for money. In the US, we have Trump talking about eliminating the income tax, which I worked on during the Nineties and even testified on taxation before the House Ways & Means Committee. Starmer has announced major tax hikes and higher borrowing to meet his aim of investing for long-term growth.

The tax hike as a percentage of gross domestic product to a record 38.2% will be the highest in modern British history, resulting in government spending not seen outside an emergency or war. While he claims that the additional £40 billion ($80 billion) is to invest in the future, it will undermine the future of Britain.

This year saw a Double-Directional Change on the yearly level for the pound, and we are looking at an unprecedented economic decline into 2026. This is what the LEFT refuses ever to comprehend. They are Marxists until the end.
