Washington Post Laments Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban Likely to Win Reelection Tommorow

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on April 2, 2022 | sundance

The Washington Post, aka the U.S. intelligence community, is lamenting the likelihood that Hungarian nationalist Viktor Orban is likely to win reelection tomorrow despite the efforts of the multinational corporations and globalists in western politics trying to defeat him.

According to the public relations stenographers for the U.S. intelligence community, Orban retains a great deal of support from the working class in Hungary, despite the influence campaign the western alliance has been waging to support his political opposition.  The framework from the Washington Post indicates just how tentacled the U.S. government is in meddling in the affairs of our allies.

According to the CIA publication: “He has angered his neighbors and triggered harsh blowback from Ukrainian leaders for what they see as a wishy-washy reaction to the war. Yet by portraying himself domestically as a steady hand navigating between larger world powers, he has gained ground on the political opposition in Hungary and increased his odds of winning a fourth consecutive term as prime minister in a parliamentary election Sunday.

The WaPo notes the job of the global intelligence community and the western manipulators within the NATO alliance become more complicated with Orban likely to continue advocating for the best interests of his country.  This makes it more challenging for “the European Union, which is trying to maintain a hard line against Moscow — from all 27 members of the bloc — while also pressing Hungary on rule-of-law issues and democratic backsliding.”  Orban, an economic nationalist, represents another roadblock in the western effort to create new “democratic norms” through a one world order model of government.

(CIA Continues) – […] Specifically on Russia, Orban has criticized the invasion as an aggression and backed the E.U. in much of its response. But the country has opposed sanctions on energy supplies, and it hasn’t provided military aid to Ukraine.

All the while, Orban has signaled a warm welcome to 500,000 Ukrainians fleeing war — a reversal from his stance during an earlier migration crisis, when Hungary built a wall in response to people fleeing conflict in the Middle East and Africa. (read more)

Because, of course, no one can tell the difference from a marching horde of economic migrants from the Middle East, versus the compassionate position to accept conflict refugees from neighboring Ukraine.

Some 400-500 migrants on Wednesday broke through police lines in Hungary near the main crossing point from Serbia, AFP reporters at the scene said. AFP PHOTO / ATTILA KISBENEDEK

On these nuanced issues, the intelligence community wishes to push a specific globalist and multicultural narrative, and those voices who would look at refugees from a commonsense perspective are, well, Putin apologists or something.  So sayeth the U.S. State Dept and their Big Tech overlords who collaborate with the intelligence community in the ideological quest to create the New World Order.

[…] the E.U. faces a major decision on whether to withhold billions in funding from Hungary as well as Poland for rule-of-law violations.

Heather Grabbe, director of the Open Society European Policy Institute, said there is a “huge danger in trading off the short-term unity of the war against the long-term unity of the E.U. as a community of law with integrity.”

[…] Last week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky applied some pressure on Hungary as well, name-checking every E.U. member — mostly applauding their support — before stopping to speak directly to Orban.

Listen, Viktor, do you know what’s going on in Mariupol?” Zelensky said.

He mentioned visiting Budapest and seeing a memorial — depicting shoes left along the Danube riverbank — dedicated to Hungarian Jews who were shot at the water’s edge.

“Please, if you can, go to your waterfront,” Zelensky continued. “Look at those shoes. And you will see how mass killings can happen again in today’s world. … And you hesitate whether to impose sanctions or not?” (more)

Notice that sentence I highlighted above?

Notice how there’s no source attribution for the quote from Zelenskyy, a journalistic standard.  How did the Washington Post know he said those exact words.  ANSWER – the article was published in the Washington Post, but written by the U.S. Intelligence Community, who were listening in.  They slipped a little.  Every once in a while those little slips sneak through.

How was the U.S. intelligence community listening to those calls?  Occam’s Razor, Zelenskyy is an active operator for them, under their control.  There is evidence of this coming out now.

More on that later.

An Easier Solution for Rupee-Ruble Payments

Armstrong Economics Blog/World Trade Re-Posted Mar 30, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

India imported $3.3 billion in goods to Russia in 2021, and the finance ministry has no plans to slow that source of revenue. India has not placed sanctions on Russia. The Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) announced that India will now switch to a SWIFT alternative that permits rupee-ruble payments between the two nations. This renders removing Russia from the SWIFT system a moot point for India as exporters may continue business as usual with their Russian partners. Furthermore, this will permit India to continue purchasing Russian energy at a time when other countries are shunning the resources they need the most.

In fact, India is hoping to profit off of the West’s ban on Russian exports. “Export to Russia is not much, only in agriculture and pharmacy products. Now that the whole of the West is banning Russia, there will be a lot of opportunities for Indian firms to enter Russia,” a member of the FIEO stated. Indian Oil Corp has begun purchasing more oil from Russia and there are talks of purchasing highly sought-after fertilizer from both Russia and Belarus.

India, the largest oil importer in the world, was only purchasing around 2% to 5% of their crude from Russia in recent years, but with the prospect of seeing a heavy discount, they are likely to turn to Russia instead of the Middle East. “Countries with oil self-sufficiency or those importing themselves from Russia cannot credibly advocate restrictive trading,” an Indian government official cited weeks ago.

So if there is an easy solution for rupee-ruble payments, we should expect to see an easy solution for yuan-ruble payments. These nations are looking at finances rather than politics and will profit as a result.

Director of FBI Cyber Has No Idea Where Hunter Biden Laptop Is Located

I would say this is sketchy but given everything that has been revealed about the FBI in recent years the point would be moot.  We still have no idea where the Huma Abedin/Anthony Weiner laptop is located after the FBI took custody of it.

During a congressional hearing today, GOP Congressman Matt Gaetz asked FBI cyber chief Bryan Vorndran if he knows where Hunter Biden’s laptop is stored.  The head of the FBI cyber operations said he has no idea.  WATCH:

Two Million People Respond to Elon Musk Twitter Poll About Free Speech

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on March 26, 2022

Elon Musk noted that “free speech is essential to a functioning democracy,” and then asked a poll question:

More than two million people responded with over 70 percent saying the Twitter platform does not “adhere to the principle” of free speech.

One of the reasons our democracy is not functioning, is simply because the worldview of the platform control agents is in the minority.  There are more of us than them, they just control the communication platforms, and they do so in an effort to block people from seeing they are in the majority.

The reason Big Tech controls speech, censors speech, manipulates speech and blocks user engagement, is to give the illusion that their worldview is held by the majority, it isn’t.   Their Big Tech created world, their Metaverse, is a tenuous Potemkin village construct.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen Says Nothing Will Deter Biden Administration from Eliminating Fossil Fuels

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on March 26, 2022

Current Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is a Davos/WEF devotee of the highest magnitude.  Yellen is ensconced in the worldview of those who run the operations of central banking and global finance.  She is the globalist secretary of world treasuries and has been throughout her professional life.

As more people become aware of the Build Back Better agenda, or as some would say “The Great Reset,” and its direct connection to the dreams and aspirations of the climate change ideologues in the elitist class, it is worth paying attention when Yellen says nothing will deter the Biden administration from eliminating fossil fuels; and it is her role to make that objective financially possible.

Yellen emphasizes the Biden administration position about how the conflict in Ukraine and the sanctions against Russia are an example of why the global energy resources need to fundamentally change to renewable resources.  Her strength of advocacy, in alignment with the Davos/WEF position, is yet another data-point to highlight the predictable cleaving of the world economies into two distinctly differing groups of nations.  WATCH:

It doesn’t matter how economically painful it is to chase these energy policies, the elitists who operate western government are all-in on the same program.  The same western governments who used totalitarian emergency powers to destroy liberty and freedom under the guise of COVID-19 mitigation, are the same western governments now aligned to use the crisis in Ukraine to advance their energy ideology.

Why Can’t We All Just Get Along?

Armstrong Economics Blog/Russia Re-Posted Mar 25, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

COMMENT: Dear Martin,
I am a frequent follower of your blog. I read your article tonight “ Putin puts Bidens King check mate”
Being an economist myself with 30 years of experience I completely agree with your proposals of a two tier Ruble. I would fine tune it even further by backing the international ruble up with oil/gas and the domestic with Gold as you said!

This would be a genius move in my opinion. Thank you for your work and keep up the very insightful Job you are doing! I personally appreciate it a lot- quite frankly I only read …. & You 🙂 Everything else is pure “ Mass psychosis influenser propaganda” backing a Political agenda. Good luck in sending the right advise to Russia! Not because I lőve Russia being a Hungarian but because supplying Russia with Smart financial and economic advise will bring restoration of peace ASAP which is the interest of the whole world!

Kind Regards,

Viktor

REPLY: Thank you. That is a good idea for we are dealing with the catastrophic collapse of the monetary system of the world. I do not think this will end well. It is ironic, but I try to defeat my own computer. I have never won yet. In the words of Rodney King – Why can’t we just all get along?

Madeleine Albright & Yugoslavia

Armstong Economics Blog/War Re-Posted Mar 24, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

I hope you are doing well.
Talking about Neocons, as a boy, 12 years old, I’ve survived the Yugoslavia bombing by NATO 1999 and Madeleine Albright was one of the biggest influencers to attack Yugoslavia where many civilians died. She died on the same date when they decided to attack Yugoslavia 23 years ago. I guess cycles are everywhere.
Thanks for all that you do.
Best regards,
M

COMMENT #2: The US killed countless civilians in Yugoslavia. We will never for get that.

K

COMMENT #3: dear Marty, dear Team,
thank you for your unique analyses which help me to understand how our world really functions. please help me to understand what NEOCONS are. thank you. Victor

REPLY: Madeleine Albright I met once and the feeling I got was one of a deep seated coldness. She, along with Hillary, were Neocons, which are NOT the Deep State which tends to be the agencies who are more focused on domestic power. The Neocons cannot sleep at night worrying about international enemies who must be defeated. Albright would conjure up hatred for a leader to justify attacking them with no regard for all the other people who die in such conflicts.

Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright introduced Hillary Clinton at an event in New Hampshire, telling the crowd and voters in general: “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other!” President Bill Clinton named Albright the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations shortly after he was inaugurated in 1993.

Albright was true to her convictions that were immovable and she never had a problem waging war. Some would say she was more ruthless than any man just so she could climb that latter of equality. I think that certainly applies to Hillary.

Blackrock CEO Advances Proposal for Global Digital Payment System and Digital Currency

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on March 24, 2022

When CTH outlined the ‘Destination Handbasket’ framework {Go Deep}, we had no idea Blackrock CEO Larry Fink was essentially going to confirm the premise of our prediction.  Keep in mind, any digital currency can only work if there is a digital identity attributed to it – what some have called a digital passport which then creates a crypto wallet.

I have based the framework, of what appears to be over the horizon, on a set of inevitable geopolitical outcomes if the current path is continued.  The letter by Blackrock CEO Larry Fink [LINK] seems to affirm the strongest likelihood of a western-inspired digital currency eventually replacing the dollar.

NEW YORK, March 24 (Reuters) – BlackRock Inc’s (BLK.N) chief executive, Larry Fink, said on Thursday that the Russia-Ukraine war could end up accelerating digital currencies as a tool to settle international transactions, as the conflict upends the globalization drive of the last three decades.

In a letter to the shareholders of the world’s largest asset manager, Fink said the war will push countries to reassess currency dependencies, and that BlackRock was studying digital currencies and stablecoins due to increased client interest.

“A global digital payment system, thoughtfully designed, can enhance the settlement of international transactions while reducing the risk of money laundering and corruption”, he said.

[…] In the letter on Thursday, the chairman and CEO of the $10 trillion asset manager said the Russia-Ukraine crisis had put an end to the globalization forces at work over the past 30 years.

[…] “While companies’ and consumers’ balance sheets are strong today, giving them more of a cushion to weather these difficulties, a large-scale reorientation of supply chains will inherently be inflationary,” said Fink.

He said central banks were dealing with a dilemma they had not faced in decades, having to choose between living with high inflation or slowing economic activity to contain price pressures.  (read more)

You see that problem, that “dilemma” Fink mentions in the last paragraph above.  That is what we have been talking about on these pages for more than two years.   It is a dilemma western government created when they all joined together and followed the exact same financial path during the pandemic.

When western governments used the justification of the global pandemic to shut down their economies, enforce lockdowns and all of the subsequent rules, restrictions and economic pains as a direct result of those decisions, they put us on a crisis path that was always going to bring us to this “dilemma.”  Quite frankly, I do not see that unity of action as accidental, nor do I see it as organic.

All of the western leaders followed the same monetary and financial policy that was being advanced by the World Economic Forum.  They all spent like crazy, and provided tens-of-trillions in bailouts, subsidies and cash payments to cover the economic losses created by their COVID lockdowns.  They all did exactly the same thing, and that collective action is why we have ‘global inflation.’

Perversely, while inflation crushes the working class, global inflation works to their benefit by lowering the cost of the debt the politicians created, which the central bands and federal reserve facilitated.  We the citizens are suffering under inflation, but the governments that created the inflation actually benefit from it.

I will say with great deliberateness, these western governments want inflation.  Sure, it provides a political challenge for those who need to get reelected by voters, but in the bigger of big pictures, they need inflation.  Think about it in very simple terms.  If they did not want inflation, those same central banks and federal reserve policy makers would have raised interest rates six to eight months ago.

None of what is happening in supply chains and inflation is a surprise to them; they might pretend not to know, but these are not stupid people.  This is by design.  Media covers for them because, well, I’ll accept the PR firms for the regimes are idiots. However, the people who constructed these policies to take advantage of COVID-19 are not dummies.  They knew what all that intervention, manipulation and govt spending would lead to.

Where we are going now is a self-fulfilling prophecy, a destination that is a result of specific action the guided policymakers have taken.

Yes, in hindsight, all of it does seem planned to a long-term eventual conclusion.  However, I’m not going to make that specific affirmation just yet; there are still strong elements of ‘not letting a crisis go to waste’ as the leading driver.  Did these governing bodies create the underlying crisis?  We can debate that, but the point is essentially moot.  We are where we are.

The vaccination protocol created the Vax-Passport.  That has opened the door to the digital identity, “digital id.”   Any government created digital currency is going to need a digital id from the outset.

There are a lot of people asking where this is going, and what can be done to stop it.  I’m pretty certain we have accurately identified “Where This is Going,” and I’m a lot more confident now about that aspect than I was even just 24 hours ago.  However, knowing that, now we need to look closer at what they would do to stop us from disrupting it.
