Our National Faith Will Stand, Steadfast

A reminder for a friend…

Steadfast doesn’t mean when it’s easy; the term has no meaning when things are working according to our own convenient interests. Steadfast means standing strong when it’s challenging, difficult and unnerving. Just as courage is not the absence of fear, rather it is taking action despite being fearful; so too is steadfast a decision.

Often when things are disconcerting, we retreat to the place where we are comfortable. However, steadfast is unwavering despite the obstacles and difficulties. When we don’t hold the words to comfort the grieved, yet we show up and sit quietly just to eliminate loneliness, that is a steadfast commitment. When we see adversity on the face of another, and we choose to engage with our time and comfort, that is a steadfast decision.

When CTH was formed, it was a small assembly of misfits who were not fearless, but brave enough to be comfortable within our discomfort.  We knew we had to look deeply at the issues which face us. We remind ourselves that ‘truth has no agenda‘ & truth exists despite our feelings of the subject matter. The core elements of CTH are based on this principle of remaining steadfast amid the face of adversity, national, political or even personal.

The CTH armory is insightful, wise and often purposeful; but this assembly is foremost a fellowship. A steadfast decision to stand together and figure out how all of these intense subjects, issues and events interact, influence and ultimately impact our lives.

Right now our nation is facing a time of extreme trepidation. Nerves are frayed, emotions are raw and individually we find our compass spinning in a way that destabilizes us. Into this climate the originating value of our core assembly becomes critical. CTH remains steadfast & committed to the best hopes and solutions within us. We strive with purpose.

Each day for over a decade we begin with a simple prayer. We host a candle for those who need prayers and support, and we engage purposefully with the intent to cherish the value, wisdom and skills that each unique person brings to the subject matter being discussed.

My personal commitment toward that end has been to remain steadfast and unwavering in defense of this little corner of the internet. To maintain a place where facts can be discovered, truth can be unearthed and honest discussion/opinion can be afforded.

In July of this past year, it was our CTH mission to ensure that people within the institutions of our government were aware of: (a) evidence of specific corruption; and (b) our knowledge about it. It was during one of those briefing trips to DC when I recognized a serious disconnect between what the people within those institutions of government viewed as their role, and what We The People expected of them.

It was also the first time when I realized that internal corrective action was unlikely to succeed because the scale of corrupt activity was not simply based on intent, but also present because the absence of morality was metastatic throughout the system.

I’m certain there are good people in DC, but the systems surrounding them have lost their originating purpose. The central function of U.S. government is now so corrupt the institutions regard ‘We The People‘ as the problem the people within the system must protect themselves from.

I quickly recognized the solutions to our national issues were never going to come from our requests to those who operate within the institutions. However, even worse was the impact we were having on each-other due to our national frustration. It was evident within our frustration – as a nation we are losing a sense of identity, unity and fellowship.

The only people who can change that dynamic is us.

We are ‘The People’ we have been waiting for; yet, the professional political class, purposefully walled-off within this corrupt system, are also purposefully blind to our assembly. In order for the DC politicians to continue operating corrupt levers within a corrupt machine they must ignore the will of the same people they are supposed to represent.

President Trump represents ‘We The People‘, and as a consequence those within this corrupt system view his appearances with the same dismissive outlook they carry toward those who voted for him.

They want to destroy us, so they need to destroy him. They want to destroy our faith, so they need to destroy hope.  They will fail so long as we remain steadfast.

CTH (The Last Refuge) was founded upon this acceptance long before Donald Trump became president in 2016; and the actions by both wings of the UniParty congress over the past six weeks have been clear evidence of what we always knew was present.

Our current national challenge is to figure out a way to confront this dynamic and then deal with it. However, we must deal with it in a way that does not destroy the founding principles of our constitutional republic. There are many disappointments around us, but we must remain strong and purposeful with any chosen direction. Misplaced corrective action regardless of intent is neither prudent nor wise.

Above all, those who understand the larger issues must remain united and hold a sense of fellowship toward each-other if we are to overcome the challenges. The purpose of using COVID fear as a strategic weapon to achieve division is evident. Unilateral fiats can be an effective strategy deployed by those who benefit from division; we must counter this effort.

The fraud within the phrase “social distancing” not only creates distance between us but also creates a void of loneliness within the soul. Into this void of isolation, fear takes hold and becomes toxic. Thus the true value of fellowship is more important than ever.

Right now everything around us seems less focused on the pursuit of happiness and more focused on what happiness we are missing. At the heart of that anxiety is this sense of foreboding. A choking sense of fear and worry; a sense of trepidation. Faith in a loving and purposeful God is now more important than ever, embrace it – share it.

This moment in history is where each person of strength holds a higher level of influence, and we should engage in the lives of others to show that strength. Right now people around you are looking for courage, optimism and hope. If you do not provide that to your family, friends and community, you allow the alternative, despair, to take root.

Despair is the foreboding outcome of the same evil systems that create it. Recognize despair when you see it, intercept it and eliminate it when you can… AND you always can. Tend to the flickering flame of liberty & teach others, especially our youth, the skills to defend it.

Do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. We are a majority nation of liberty loving independent and free-thinking people; born under a compact to allow each to live their lives according to their own purpose. Do not abdicate the duty to protect individual liberty to anyone except yourself. Your dreams are unique to you.

Stay strong for your family…

Stay strong for your community….

Stay strong for our nation… We need each-other.

[…] I have been saying for some time that America is at a tipping point. Regardless of who is in apparent control of the Government (Executive, Legislative or Judiciary), there are forces at work that truly do lead to the creation of a “Uni-party.” As the underbelly of the Uni-party has been exposed, those in control have become vulnerable.

The real prospect that God-fearing, hard-working, honest Americans are beginning to see how the system has been rigged to manipulate them is upon us. Your dogged determination to lay bare the ugliness of what Washington has become is to be greatly admired.

We have lacked true leadership for too many years. This of course creates a vacuum and vacuums are dangerous because they allow false prophets to arise. People are desperate for someone to lead and say that they can restore the values that we once held dear as a nation.

Perhaps this is why your banner with the redhead staring at the gathering storm calls to me. The storm is just off the shore, building energy, waiting to crash over all of us. Yet, in the gathering darkness you have provided a light. A beacon of hope in a dismal world. A beacon which illuminates an alternative to the false choices of the Hegelian dialectic that is forced upon us all.

May God keep and protect you as you gather and collate the evidence to lay bare the ugliness that has become government, as it is now practiced, and reclaim all that makes America truly great. May the Holy Spirit guide you in your words and actions. Know that there are many that believe in what you are doing and stand ready to do their part. Remember that the darkness is always greatest before the dawn. I am confident that a new dawn is about to break.

Senator Rand Paul questioned health nominee Rachel Levine on the process of gender ‘reassignment.’ Only there is no such thing as reassignment.

Wishful thinking and medical mutilation won’t change the fundamental DNA structure that resides in every cell of our bodies. Our sex is part of who we are—not an ‘assignment.’

One’s sex cannot be changed. Neither by means of surgery, nor hormones.

Yet for some reason we live in an age where the ’trans’ delusion is getting ’normalized.’ Wishful thinking is now considered science. We can’t debate the issue without being smeared as a hater or ’transphobic.’ Transgender people are the new sacred cows. One can no longer reasonably question the delusion. Government said so. Stooges representing science said so. Biden said so. Burly boys can claim to be girls and compete alongside them in sporting events—and they usually win. They also get to go into the girls’ locker rooms and we’re not supposed to question that, either.

As a libertarian I don’t care if men and women think they can transmogrify into the opposite sex. If they are adults and not hurting others, that’s their business. I do have a problem when it comes to minors wanting trans surgery and big government overruling parents who don’t want their kids mutilated. Teenagers aren’t mature enough to make such a life-changing and irreversible decision. It’s also why I don’t think children should be allowed to vote. They lack life experience and will usually vote for socialism and free stuff.

Senator Paul knows it’s impossible to ’transition’ from one sex to the opposite and he asked Levine simple and straightforward questions about whether we should allow children to make decisions that have permanent and major health implications—both mental and physical. Levine dithered. Paul finally stated it as clearly as he could:

“I’m alarmed that you’re not willing to say absolutely that minors shouldn’t be making decisions to amputate their breasts or to amputate their genitalia. For most of our history, we have believed that minors don’t have full rights and that parents need to be involved, so I’m alarmed that you won’t say with certainty that minors should not have the ability to make the decision to take hormones that will affect them for the rest of their life. Will you make a more firm decision on whether or not minors should be involved in these decisions?”

Levine still refused to answer the question and repeated “her” memorized statement:

“Senator, transgender medicine is a very complex and nuanced field. And if confirmed to the position of Assistant Secretary of Health, I would certainly be pleased to come to your office and talk with you and your staff about the standards of care and the complexity of this field.”

It’s not a complex and nuanced field. It’s not medicine. It’s doing harm to the bodies of children and doctors are supposed to do no harm. Why wouldn’t she answer the question? Her disingenuous response disqualifies her from office.

Paul was quickly attacked as being transphobic. We aren’t supposed to question the supposed science behind transgenderism because the trans people’s feelings might get hurt. To protect their feelings, any criticism of the transgender fad is labeled as ‘hate speech.’ Trans people have become a special caste and immune from any criticism whatsoever. A book that explained the transgender delusion was recently removed from Amazon. They said the book was ‘hate speech.’ This type of online book burning sets a very dangerous precedent.

We must be able to criticize government officials regardless of their race, religion, or sexual orientation. We must be able to debate and ask questions without fear of getting cancelled by identity politics.

Prayers for Tiger Woods, Undergoing Surgery Following Car Crash

Media are reporting that professional golfer Tiger Woods has been taken to a local hospital for emergency surgery on his legs after a car crash near Los Angeles.

GOLF DIGEST – Tiger Woods was hospitalized after being involved in a single-car accident in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning. According to his agent, Mark Steinberg, Woods suffered “multiple” leg injuries.“He is currently in surgery,” Steinberg told Golf Digest, “and we thank you for your privacy and support.”

According to a statement from the L.A. County Sherriff’s Department, police responded to a “roll-over traffic collision” at approximately 7:12 a.m. “The driver and sole occupant was identified as PGA golfer, Eldrick ‘Tiger’ Woods. Mr. Woods was extricated from the wreck with the ‘jaws of life’ by Los Angeles County firefighters and paramedics, then transported to a local hospital by ambulance for his injuries.” (read more)

Jonestown had a big sign hanging in their main pavilion. It read, “Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

We may be repeating the mass suicide that occurred there—only on a much grander scale. Too many people worship Father Government who resides at his statist Temple in Washington D.C. Father Government tells them to worship science—at least, his corporate version of it.

Jim Jones rejected the Bible and told his people that socialism was the only answer.

Similarly, Father Government wants Christians persecuted and socialism embraced. He tells his people how to live their lives down to the smallest detail. In exchange, the people receive safety and security. They are relieved of the burden of thinking for themselves. Father Government and his socialist media loudspeakers tell people what to think. The people no longer have to deal with the stress of freedom.

Non-believers are shunned. Those not embracing Father Government’s preaching are called ‘terrorists.’ They are a threat to the people. They even had the gall to invade the sacred socialist Temple! They are a threat to Father Government! Therefore it’s okay to shoot them. Or, at the very least, censor them.

To be sure, Father Government abuses his people. He makes them do ridiculous things such as wear masks. He forces young people to fight in useless wars where they are maimed and killed. He shuts down their small businesses. He keeps their children out of school. He lies to them. He steals from them by means of taxes. Big tithes must be sent sent to the IRS, which helps grow the statist Temple. Yet despite his abusive nature, Father Government is always forgiven because he cares so deeply for his people.

Until he doesn’t.

Father Government now wants a big reset in order to bring about an Earthly paradise. There are too many people on Earth and they’re mucking up his plans. He now forces his people to pray that science will save them. Father Government has donned a sacred robe and it looks just like a lab coat. He is waving his vaccination needle talisman in a rapturous manner. He has a plan to end fear. All you have to do is obey. Don’t question science. Don’t be a conspiracy theorist! Save the Earth! Get the jab!

Unfortunately, too many haven’t realized that Father Government has gone completely insane. Jim Jones isolated his people in a remote jungle and used fear to get them to obey his nutty pronouncements. Father Government has done the same. At the end, Jim Jones promised to take their fear away by means of ‘revolutionary suicide.’

Father Government is now telling us to do as we’re told and get the shot. It will extinguish our fear. Along with our lives.

Don’t drink the Kool Aid and don’t take the jab.

Civil Unrest in Spain for the 5th Night

Spain has imprisoned a rapper for insulting the government in his Tweets. Barcelona ​and many ​other Catalan cities, along with Madrid have been erupting in civil unrest as people protest to demand the freedom of rapper Pablo Hasel, who the government sentenced to prison for nine months because of his tweets which were insults against the Crown and the police. These protests, which began in Barcelona against the Mossos d’Esquadra, the Catalan police force, which in turn responded with smoke bombs. These protests are reflecting the frustration over the lockdowns which have erupted into riots, fires, and even looting.

The build-up of frustration has led to civil unrest erupting on just about any excuse. This is more than just a protest over the wrongful imprisonment of  Pablo Hasel. This is simply a reflection of the totalitarian state that governments are trying to impose using this virus as the justification to hide their real agenda – the Great Reset.

President Trump Will Speak At CPAC Orlando on Sunday February 28th

After some mixed considerations about attending this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference, CPAC, President Trump is apparently going to speak to the audience on Sunday February 28th.  Without a doubt this will be one of the most anticipated speeches of this year….

(Fox News) Former President Trump will make his first major public appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) conference later this month, Fox News has learned.

Traditionally held outside of Washington, D.C., the 2021 CPAC conference will kick off in Orlando, Fla., on Thursday.  Trump will be talking about the future of the Republican Party and the conservative movement. Also, look for the 45th president to take on President Biden’s “disastrous amnesty and border policies,” according to a source familiar with Trump’s speech.

Trump has stayed relatively quiet since leaving the White House on Jan. 20 for his Mar-a-lago resort in Florida and after Twitter banned him from the social media platform after the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.  But Trump has indicated he wants to stay politically active and told his supporters after his impeachment acquittal the MAGA movement is still going strong. Entire School Board in Oakley Elementary School District, California, Resigns After Viral Video of them Mocking Parents Who Want In-Classroom Teaching

Every negative sentiment about leftist teachers is confirmed in a viral video where Oakley Elementary School District (CA) school board members are caught on video openly mocking parents who want in-classroom teaching to resume.

The school board did not know they were on video-conference that was open to the public.  Their comments and vulgarity were visible for the entire world to see.

First, here is the video.  The last few seconds are revealing as the members realize their broadcast was open to the public: “rut oh, we have the meeting open to the public right now.” WATCH:

CALIFORNIA – The president and three other members of a Northern California school board resigned Friday after reports that they made mocking comments about parents during a public video meeting about reopening schools.

The resignation of President Lisa Brizendine of the Oakley Union Elementary School District was confirmed to Fox News by Schools Superintendent Greg Hetrick.

The other members — Kim Beede, Erica Ippolito and Richie Masadas — who constitute the rest of the board, resigned later Friday, FOX 2 of the Bay Area reported. (read more)
