The Biden Administration Urges Struggling Families to Buy Solar Panels

Armstrong Economics Blog/Energy Re-Posted Aug 23, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

Similar to Pete Buttigieg’s braindead suggestion to simply buy an electric vehicle to combat energy inflation, the White House is now offering another solution for Americans crippled by inflation – stop being poor. While they did not say these words verbatim, their ideas behind taming inflation among low and middle-earning Americans are completely out of the realm of reality. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm patted the Democrats on the back for passing the Inflation Reduction Act.

“If you are low income, you can get your home entirely weatherized through the expansion from the bipartisan infrastructure laws, a significant expansion — you don’t have to pay for anything,” Granholm said, toting government rebates. Solar panels can run anywhere from $15,000 to $25,000 for an initial setup. Is this something people with little disposable income can afford? How about the growing number of renters who do not have this option even if it were “free.”

Granholm offered more belittling advice for the middle class. “If you are moderate income, today you can get 30% off the price of solar panels. Those solar panels can be financed, so you don’t have to have the big outlay at the front … it’s a significant incentive.” Oh wow, a 30% discount and only a six to 12-month wait for the tax credit! Forget about basic shelter costs and food, go ahead and finance expensive solar panels as your family starves on the streets.

This administration is completely out of touch with the needs of the American people. They have done absolutely nothing to lower energy inflation and are now gas lighting the people to believe WE can do more to combat prices not seen in 40 years.

The Darndest Thing, Alex Jones Endorses Ron DeSantis

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on August 20, 2022

Alex Jones and David Frum are now on the same team. Isn’t that weird?

In the aftermath of the tragic death of Andrew Breitbart, there was a financial opening. Billionaire Robert Mercer stepped in and soon (’14) Breitbart advocated for Ted Cruz.  Over at The Washington Free Beacon, billionaire Paul Singer stepped in, Fusion GPS was contracted and WFB advocated for Marco Rubio.

Over at the Blaze financial trouble swirled, Glenn Beck leaned on Keep the Promise and advocated for Cruz. Then, post Cruz implosion, financial trouble swirled again and suddenly Trump was a lifeline.

The March ’16 Sea Island summit was unsuccessful, anxiety ruled.

Following the 2016 RNC convention the Mercer’s (Robert and Rebekah) switched allegiances and aligned with Trump. Kellyanne Conway, formerly with Cruz, joined team Trump.  Parler was created as Rebekah Mercer funded.

These are the moves of the billionaire class members within the club who utilize influence to advance objectives and self-interest. Nothing about this is surprising.

Recently, in the aftermath of a $49.3 million award, Alex Jones is on the financial ropes.  The perfect position for the purchase of influence and guess what…

(Daily Mail) InfoWars host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has jettisoned his support for Donald Trump and is backing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for the 2024 presidential race.

Jones, who was recently ordered to pay $49.3 million to parents of a Sandy Hook school shooting victim in a defamation case, admitted he’s ‘pigheadedly’ supported Trump throughout the years. But, he said on his InfoWars podcast, he’s now backing DeSantis, who is ‘way better than Trump.’ (read more)

The billionaire donor board members of the RNC club have an agenda.

Remember, it’s a private club and there are billions -if not trillions- at stake.

The Outlier of the West, Japan Core Inflation Rises 2.4% Year Over Year

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on August 19, 2022 | Sundance

If you have been following along, you might remember the note we made in July about not every country willing to go along with the western agenda on energy reduction, climate change, and raising interest rates to shrink their economy down to the scale of diminished energy development {Go Deep}.

In addition to Russia, China, Iran, Brazil, South Africa, Argentina and India vociferously retaining their own economic and monetary independence, Mexican President AMLO literally blasted the program while visiting the White House and the Bank of Japan refused to join the mantra to raise interest rates.   Essentially, all of the aforementioned nations see the collective Build Back Better program for what it is, a path to poverty.

As a result of their non-compliance with the global bankers, which, not coincidentally I would point out, coincided with the assassination of Shinzo Abe, the government of Japan has been getting blasted by the proverbial ‘west’ (U.S, Canada, U.K, Europe and Australia).

Japan is attempting to deal with inflation by focusing on increasing energy production and security (the supply side); while the rest of the western group have been chasing the false promise of decreased inflation by lowering the demand side, ie. pretending not to know their energy policy is creating the increases in costs.

As a result of the distinctly different monetary approaches, the financial system has been trying to punish Japan and the financial media have been trying to point out every flaw in the Japanese economy as a result of their noncompliance.   However, as you will see in this Reuters article, the July inflation within Japan is moderating.  Inflation in Japan is 2.4% for July (year over year).

TOKYO, Aug 19 (Reuters) – Japan’s core consumer inflation accelerated in July to its fastest in seven-and-a-half years, driven by fuel and raw material prices and adding to the costs of living for households yet to see significant wage gains.

In a sign of broadening price pressure, the so-called “core core” index that strips away not just the impact of volatile fresh food but energy prices, also rose in July at the fastest annual pace in more than six years.

While inflation exceeded its 2% target for four straight months, the Bank of Japan (BOJ) is likely to remain an outlier in keeping monetary conditions ultra-loose with price rises still modest compared with other major economies.

“Food prices and a weak yen were the main culprits behind accelerating inflation,” said Yoshimasa Maruyama, chief market economist at SMBC Nikko Securities, adding that he expects core consumer inflation to reach 3% this year. (read more)

It is funny to see Reuters put out a *shock* styled article for 2.4% core inflation.   In the U.S. Joe Biden would be celebrating 2.4% inflation right now; however, his energy policy is driving that CORE inflation number well beyond 6%.

Japan is still in a tough place with increasing prices for their citizens, but it is nowhere near the scale of Europe and North America.

While their currency is suffering from not following the western agenda, they have several upsides.  First, exports from Japan to the United States and the EU now become even cheaper. With a higher dollar value, Japanese imports into the United States come at a discount.  This will help Japan export goods and retain a strong export economy.

Second, with Japan already a massive investor inside the United States, the dollars that are generated in profit from their operations are delivered back to Japan at a higher value.  A higher dollar value, the outcome of their breaking from the western central bank decision to raise rates, does not hurt Japan.  They bring back high valued dollars from their decades in investment into North America, and they continue exporting to the U.S. at a discount.

So, the nationalist outlooks of Japan, Brazil and even our Mexican neighbors are reflecting a pragmatic self-interest that so far has withstood the pressures from the western alliance to fall into line.  This is how those three countries are positioned to push back against the insufferable BBB agenda.

We can use the example of those western industrialized nations to show that not everyone is in alignment with this globalist multinational finance and corporate takeover.

For Those with Eyes to See

…”Norman Rockwell (optics), Ward Cleaver (tones), soft hues and gentlemanly pastels. Club branding is subtle on the image front, but very clear on the substantive messaging side. Social issues selected to maximize camp coalition, and influence base.” 8-12-22 {LINK}

Glenn Beck and Ben Shapiro enter messaging, with club financing… and we’re off.  Ted Cruz in 2014, is Ron DeSantis in 2022.

The UniParty issue does not start in Washington DC, it surfaces in Washington DC.

The UniParty agenda, the origin of the crap that we see surface in a toxically corrupt federal government, starts IN YOUR STATE.

The UniParty is an outcome of the private organizations that run the political parties known as the RNC and DNC.  This is where almost all voters and political followers get lost.

The Republican and Democrat parties are not affiliated with any construct of the United States government.  They are private entities, private clubs, corporations that can establish any set of rules and regulations for the people within the club/party.   That’s where the origin of the feces begins.

The club can accept or deny membership for any person who wants to run for political office.  The RNC and DNC clubs essentially select the politicians.  There is nothing within this process that is even remotely democratic, representative or even visible in the framework of the U.S. constitution.

Private corporations known as the RNC and DNC run the professional political apparatus, and from that origination all of the corruption in the body politic -as outlined in the visible UniParty agenda- surfaces.

Two clubs, both funded by Wall Street power brokers, globalists and ultra-rich mega-donors, select the members who will represent their interests in Washington DC.   That’s the root of the issue.

The Republican National Committee (RNC), and the Democrat National Committee (DNC), are private clubs.

The RNC and DNC are corporations, private businesses; and just like all private businesses, they have the ability to make rules, bylaws, terms and conditions of membership and association that are completely arbitrary according to their charter.

The RNC and DNC are not entities of government.  The RNC and DNC are not affiliates of government.  The RNC and DNC have absolutely no connection to government, other than their arbitrary business model for helping politicians enter and remain within government.

In fact, the RNC and DNC are simply private corporations who engage in the business of politics.  Whenever we start to forget the DNC and RNC are private corporations, we can slip into the mistaken belief that they operate on any form of baseline altruism.

These corporations exist for the fulfillment of their mission; and their mission is to use the business of politics as a method of financial reward to sustain the business model.

Some call these private entities, these corporations, “clubs,” because using that term helps to remind us that these groups do not operate without a private agenda.

The rules within the RNC club are determined by the people who control the club charter, primarily large donors who fund the corporate business.  If they have a particular intent or direction, they wish the club to support or take, they control how the club engages in the process of achieving their outcome.  That effort is taken regardless of the opinion from the subordinate members in the club.

Through the process of controlling the corporations, the private clubs, both the RNC and DNC control how political events take place.  Nothing within this process is contingent upon the support of the voting electorate.

Each state and local precinct has their own chapter of the club, and often the corporate direction, specifically the club activity in/around Washington DC, is different from what the local groups want to see take place.  However, just because the local chapter of the group disagrees with the parent company or board of directors, does not mean the larger corporate entity will change anything.

When we are evaluating political events inside the United States, it is critical to keep reminding ourselves that what is taking place, or what is not taking place, are outcomes determined within the executive suites of a private club.   This is an unfortunate system dynamic, but it is a critical point that once fully understood explains many of the issues people have with the registered politicians within the club.

The RNC and DNC are businesses.  Their decisions are business decisions.  The club actions, or lack thereof, are all part of the business of politics.

The tenured participants in the club do not operate arbitrarily in a vacuum.  They talk to each other, communicate with each other, organize with each other, plan with each other, and collaborate for the larger objectives of the private corporation.

Nothing within the business system of DC and club politics has anything to do with the constitutional framework of U.S. government.

Again, for emphasis.  The governing process and constitutional aspects of the framework within the U.S. government, have absolutely nothing to do with the two private corporations known as the RNC and DNC.

A potato farmer has no influence on McDonalds, despite the fact the fast food corporation sells french fries.

The Illusion of Choice ]

“Governor Ron DeSantis’s (R-FL) re-election campaign announced “The DeSantis Playbook” on Thursday, a guide to the governor’s “Freedom Agenda” focused on law and order, parental rights, economic policy, and the environment.

The playbook, first obtained by The Daily Wire, details a lengthy list of the governor’s accomplishments for Floridians, lawmakers, governors, and Americans who might wish to follow in DeSantis’s footsteps.” (read more)

You may remember when never-trumper Glenn Beck was on the verge of bankruptcy, that’s when the weakness was identified by the bankers.  The same bankers who have long exerted influence in our national conversation.  The same bankers behind Ben Shapiro, not coincidentally another tenured ‘never-trumper.’  As much as things change, almost everything stays the same.

Shapiro and Beck…. It’s the multinational finance group within the worst part of the political manipulation sphere. Cruz in 2014 (prepping for 2016) is DeSantis in 2022 (prepping for 2024). EXACT SAME management group. EXACT SAME media. {link}

As we noted in the Managing of Ron DeSantis, the technique is Norman Rockwell (optics) and Ward Cleaver (tones), soft hues and gentlemanly pastels.

Club branding is subtle on the image front, but very clear on the substantive messaging side. Social issues selected to maximize camp coalition, and influence base.

Consistently present political messaging where the republican voter base can say “yes.” Keep the “yes” messaging at the forefront (social emphasis). Focus on values. Schools, kids, safety, woke pushback, media bias etc, keep the audiences nodding yes.  Ultimately, it’s a sales technique. Identify with the target to influence their decisions.

Issues around multinational & corporate economics, hard lines, foreign policy, all these things must be avoided – except in general terms.  The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is not to be challenged, not really.  Keep the message social and build the emotional connection. It is harder to break an emotional bond than a logical or cognitive bond.

These are the political techniques of Lee Atwater that still make up the bulk of the GOPe club playbook.   The greatest skill of the professionally republican is to present the illusion of choice in such a way as the voters do not see it.

Keep in mind, back in Washington DC both clubs are collaborating on the Trump removal program because both clubs’ benefit.

If we watch closely, we will see a MAGA-lite, professionally controlled republican go from five-days as a pupa, to chrysalis, to national club butterfly.

And tomorrow is Saturday.
