Fossil Fuel Car Ban BLOCKED

Miami Living in cars

A month before exiting the office, Joe Biden inserted a measure permitting California to ban gas-powered vehicles by 2035. Thankfully, the measure was overturned with bipartisan support in a 246 to 164 vote, with 35 Democrats breaking with party lines to overrule the ban.

House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, R-Minn., said, “There is no reason the radical climate policies of California should regulate the entire American population and rob every American of consumer choice.”

California’s Gavin Newsom fully supported the ban. The Advanced Clean Cars II rule would prohibit ALL gas car sales by 2035, at a time when the average American cannot afford an electric car or maintenance on an electric vehicle. Beginning in 2026, 35% of new autos sold in California would have been required to produce zero emissions. By 2027, 51% of all new cars would have been electric, and that amount would have risen to 68% in 2028, followed by an all-out ban on gas-powered cars in 2035.

Evil of CO2

California does not have the infrastructure to support such a measure. The California Independent System Operator has repeatedly called for for a “voluntary energy conservation” during holiday weekends as they are concerned the power grid cannot handle the volume. California may be in the spotlight, but countless Democrat-run states were on board with the ban. Washing state, for example, had a target to ban gas car sales by 2030. Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Rhode Island were also considering restrictions on fossil fuel car sales by 2035.

This is part of a broader globalist trend to restrict the freedom of movement, citing fossil fuels as the reason for enhanced government control. The World Economic Forum (WEF) blatantly said that private car ownership should follow the fossil fuel ban.

Goodbye car ownership, hello clean air: welcome to the future of transport,” the WEF published on its website back in December 2016. The first step is to transition cars to electric under the guise of climate change. This will cause all vehicles to be dependent on the electrical grid, which the government controls. Yet, they never planned to stop at electric vehicles. They want full control over you and where you go. It was announced at the 2023 Summer Davos that the ultimate goal is to end 75% of ALL car ownership, including electric vehicles, by the year 2050.

Schwab claimed that eliminating private car ownership could slash CO2 emissions by 3.9 billion tons per year. As a reminder, everyone flew on private jets and was chauffeured in limousines to Davos – they do not care about the environment in the slightest. There is a much darker motive at play that the public needs to realize. Free transportation will be provided in these 15-minute cities where most of the population will reside. Everyone will have a digital ID and social credit score. This is NOT about climate change — the goal is to eliminate the freedom of movement.

Thankfully, politicians in the US are beginning to wake up to the realization that the climate change agenda will not benefit their constituents. America avoided being swept into the globalist vortex the moment Kamala Harris lost the presidential election. The Trump Administration has taken numerous measures to overturn Biden-era globalist measures, such as leaving the WHO, but make no mistake that the unelected elites who control governments are eager for the world’s leading superpower to join their ranks again, and the battle against them will be ongoing.

Semi-Automatic Weapons Ban

Democrats are continuing their plight to abolish the Second Amendment. “You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind each blade of grass,” is a famous quote misattributed to Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto during the last World War. Yet, our right to bear arms certainly keeps us safe from predators both foreign and domestic.

The Second Amendment states: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

In the 1886 case Presser v. Illinois, the Constitutional right applied only to the federal government, permitting state governments to implement harsh regulations on gun ownership. The 5-4 famous case of District of Columbia v. Heller enshrined American citizen’s rights to possess weapons for self-defense in the home. McDonald v. Chicago was brought to the Supreme Court two years later, also ending in a 5-4 decision, that the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment extended to the Second Amendment right to bear arms at the state level for lawful self-defense. “Self-defense is a basic right, recognized by many legal systems from ancient times to the present day, and in Heller, we held that individual self-defense is ‘the central component’ of the Second Amendment right,” Justice Samuel Alito declared.

Democratic Sen. Adam Schiff of California leads Democratic Sens. Alex Padilla of California, and Democratic Sens. Chris Murphy and Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, along with 37 other Democrat Senators are sponsoring a new bill that would outright ban semiautomatic weapons.  “This is not about the Second Amendment. This is about saving live,” Senator Padilla stated.

guncontrolmeme

“Anti-gun lawmakers insist their push to ban ‘assault weapons’ isn’t about the Second Amendment. Let’s be honest — that’s exactly what it’s about. And it’s about disarming law-abiding Americans,” The National Rifle Association countered.

These laws are precisely intended to weaken the public. Law enforcement and military personnel may carry these weapons under the proposed legislation. This is indeed a slippery slope as once the government places a ban in effect, they will continue to strip away freedoms. The Democrats cite school and mass shootings, but others believe the nation is facing a mental health epidemic. Back in the day, boys would learn how to use rifles to hunt and shoot at the age of 12 if not younger. It was part of the American way of life.

Look at other nations that have banned guns in recent years. They face ongoing knife attacks, and then the government goes on to ban certain types of knives and blades. The people at large would be utterly defenseless if the government turned on them.

Joseph Stalin abolished all private firearm ownership in 1929. When the Great Purge happened in 1936, the people were completely defenseless. Disarmament led to the Soviets’ consolidation of power and outright genocide. Adolph Hitler followed suit in 1938 with the Weapons Act, barring Jews from owning any weapon, including a knife. There are countless examples throughout history that explain the course of events that follow disarmament, with each story ending in government tyranny and mass casualties.

Kaja Kallas Personal Hatred of Russians Will Destroy Europe

Kaja Kallas is a NEOCON with such hatred of the Russian people that she should not be close to any position of authority. Our computer has NEVER been wrong. It projected that war would start in 2014, and in 2013, it targeted Crimea.

Herodotus in war

Kallas has no regard for human life. She just hates Russians for the days of the Communists, who oppressed the Russian people, and she now seeks to kill as many Russians as possible for the sins of previous generations. That is what led to World War II when the French insisted on oppressive reparation payments, and the people turned to Hitler, who then sought revenge for the oppression the German people were subjected to by their previous leaders.

She has said publicly that Russia should be conquered and split up. What would they say if Putin said the same about the Eurozone or the United States? This hatred of Russians will bring death and destruction to Europe. This time, they will NOT survive. The Eurozone will never survive.

I grew up in a small town in New Jersey. Next to my grandfather was a German family who saw the war coming and migrated. Down the street from my mother was another German family who had also migrated and fled Germany before the war. Those who thought the people who left were conspiracy theorists. They survived, while their critics did not.

COMMENT: Marty, I just had to write to express my gratitude. What I have learned just from the November WEC, my first attendance, has been more than my MBA. Erwin’s training session, your blog posts, and Socrates even got the change in unemployment this month that nobody picked up. It is like I was blind, but now I can see all the interconnections and the fallacy of random walk theory. I know you do not want a Nobel Prize. Yet, who will change the world? One day, they will open their eyes to cyclical trends. I have to say, once I looked, I now cannot see the world any other way.

I hope the movies they are making about your career become the spark to change society.

Thank you so much. I truly mean that.

Joseph Interprets Pharaoh

REPLY: Yes, once you see that there is a cycle, economics will change from trying to manipulate society to perhaps following the Biblical Story of Joseph, warning the Pharaoh that there will be 7 years of plenty, so save, and then 7 years of drought. Live with the cycle, understand it, and survive. We stop the insanity of Keynesian Economics, Climate Change that denies there is a cycle, and even war, which never comes when everyone is fat and happy.

Nothing exists without a cycle. Even our brain has a cycle to it. When there is no more brain waves, we are dead.

President Trump Delivers Brutally Honest Impromptu Presser Aboard Airforce One

President Trump was returning to Washington DC from Mar-a-Lago, when he stopped by the assembled press pool for an impromptu presser.  I wish the background airplane audio was not so loud, but the remarks from President Trump were awesome.

President Trump is brutally honest in his remarks about trade deals and tariffs saying there’s no reason for him to rush or even want to sign a deal because the only parameters that will exist are the same ones that exist right now, tariffs against all nations who tariff us.  President Trump also answered the question about offering military troops to Mexico to destroy the cartel problem.  WATCH:

Călin Georgescu’s Replacement in Romania, George Simion Wins First Round of Voting in Critical Battle Against EU Intelligence Apparatus

Posted originally on CTH on May 4, 2025 | Sundance

The original winner of the previous Romanian election in 2024, Călin Georgescu, was removed as the election winner and barred from ever running again because Georgescu did not support the EU security state and did not want war with Russia.  The election was thrown out because the wrong person won the vote of the Romanian people.

A second election was organized, and the man who represents the voice of Călin Georgescu, George Simion, has won the first round.  However, do not get too excited; remember, NATO is building their biggest military base in Romania, and they will not accept any impediments.

Like Moldova, the second round will likely see massive numbers of “Romanians voting from abroad” to help shape the final result.  The people living in Romania will not technically be the ones deciding the Romanian election.

In the new era of intelligence systems controlling “democracy,” all votes from people with an interest in the matter will be counted in favor of the candidate chosen by the EU national security apparatus.

BUCHAREST — George Simion, the hard-right leader of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians, is projected to win the first round of Romania’s presidential election with around 40 percent of the vote, according to partial results from the country’s election authority.

Simion badges himself as a supporter of U.S. President Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” movement, wants to stop military aid to Ukraine and will leave the EU quaking as another key country threatens to turn its back on mainstream European policies.

“I promise I will always heed the will of the people. I am here to serve Romanians, not the other way around,” Simion said in a statement early Monday.

He will face centrist Bucharest Mayor Nicușor Dan, who edged out establishment figurehead Crin Antonescu to make it into a runoff on May 18.

Dan won 20.7 percent of the ballots of Romanians voting at home, barely ahead of Antonescu, who received 20.5 percent. But Dan won 26 percent of the votes of Romanians voting abroad, with nearly 80 percent of the polling stations counted. Antonescu only received 7.3 percent of the votes abroad.

[…] The election results are being closely watched in Brussels and Washington, as Romania has become the latest battleground between the far right and the political establishment.

[…] Sunday’s vote was part of the election do-over that Romania’s top court ordered in December, after canceling the November ballot over allegations of illegal campaigning and potential Russian interference in favor of Călin Georgescu, an ultranationalist firebrand who came out of nowhere to win the first round.

That was the first time a candidate backed by a mainstream political party did not make it into the second round. Georgescu was set to face reformist Elena Lasconi in the second round. Lasconi, whose center-right Union Save Romania party leadership abandoned her to support Dan, only received some 2.8 percent of the votes of Romanians voting at home, according to the partial results.

Simion hoped to harness the election support Georgescu built last year by saying he’ll have a job for him, even possibly as prime minister.

“We are approaching an exceptional result, far beyond what the system’s TV channels present, which stirred up division, sprayed venom and distorted everything I said,” Simion said in a message projected at his party’s headquarters after the exit polls were released. (read more)

President Trump Proposes Reopening Alcatraz Prison in San Francisco

Posted originally on CTH on May 4, 2025 | Sundance

In a rather remarkable message via Truth Social, President Trump proposes the reopening of Alcatraz prison.

PRESIDENT TRUMP – “REBUILD, AND OPEN ALCATRAZ! For too long, America has been plagued by vicious, violent, and repeat Criminal Offenders, the dregs of society, who will never contribute anything other than Misery and Suffering. When we were a more serious Nation, in times past, we did not hesitate to lock up the most dangerous criminals, and keep them far away from anyone they could harm. That’s the way it’s supposed to be. No longer will we tolerate these Serial Offenders who spread filth, bloodshed, and mayhem on our streets.”

“That is why, today, I am directing the Bureau of Prisons, together with the Department of Justice, FBI, and Homeland Security, to reopen a substantially enlarged and rebuilt ALCATRAZ, to house America’s most ruthless and violent Offenders. We will no longer be held hostage to criminals, thugs, and Judges that are afraid to do their job and allow us to remove criminals, who came into our Country illegally. The reopening of ALCATRAZ will serve as a symbol of Law, Order, and JUSTICE. We will, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” (link)

Deep State Weighs In – Mike Turner Interviewed by CBS Margaret Brennan

Posted originally on CTH on May 4, 2025 | Sundance

At the behest of President Donald Trump, House Speaker Mike Johnson previously removed House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) Chairman Mike Turner from his position. Representative Mike Turner is no longer Chairman of HPSCI. This was a big loss for the Deep State.

The removal timing was not coincidental as it followed President Trump announcing an intelligence advisory board headed by Devin Nunes {SEE HERE}. In addition to his manipulative support for Ukraine, in December of 2023 Chairman Turner lied about his FISA-702 renewal having support from Devin Nunes and John Ratcliffe {LINK}. Mike Turner was identified as a big fibber; he lied about Nunes; Turner was removed from the HPSCI chair.

After a few months of general invisibility, Mike Turner appears on CBS today to discuss the tariffs in addition to the removal of his good friend Mike Waltz from the position of National Security Advisor to President Trump.  Video and Transcript below.

[Transcript] – MARGARET BRENNAN: Good morning and welcome to Face the Nation. We have a lot to get to, so let’s begin today with Ohio Republican Congressman Mike Turner. Good to see you here in person.

REP. MIKE TURNER: Thanks for having me, Margaret.

MARGARET BRENNAN: So, I have a lot of national security topics to get to you, but at the heart of so much is America’s economic strength, and so I want to ask you about what President Trump said this week about the cost, the impact of his China tariffs on the supply of goods in the United States. Take a listen.

[START SOUND ON TAPE]

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Somebody said, oh, the shelves are going to be open.

Well, maybe the children will have two dolls instead of 30 dolls, you know. And maybe the two dolls will cost a couple of bucks more than they would normally.

[END SOUND ON TAPE]

MARGARET BRENNAN: Do your constituents back in Ohio, really want to hear the message that they need fewer Christmas presents this year. I mean he’s acknowledging less supply, higher prices.

REP. TURNER: Well, I think there’s going to be a lot that has to be- be shaken out here. And we certainly are seeing, I think, some reaction now in China also. That means that, you know, the President’s goal is that these nations, that of which he’s putting tariffs on the table, and tariffs which are a punishment for having behaved poorly taken advantage of the United States economically, will come to the table and negotiate better economic deals than the United States has been experiencing. Those- those deals are beginning to be offered. The White House is beginning to negotiate those. China is beginning to signal that they’re willing to come to the table. So even though the President is making those statements at the same time, we’re seeing that the President taking that step of saying we want a better economic deal is beginning to work.

MARGARET BRENNAN: But in the meantime, China said it may restrict exports of materials used by General Dynamics, which makes tanks, including in your state of Ohio. Are you concerned that the trade war won’t just impact people’s purchasing of toys, but preparedness, tanks and military readiness?

REP. TURNER: I think we’re all concerned of the effects on the supply chain, and certainly we’ve got to make certain that this works through the entire processes, and that we are concerned of the effects of the economy. I think the President is going to be looking at that. Congress is going to be looking at that. But the real concern here is- is that we do have to look long term as to how this protects our overall economy.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Well, Beijing has not yet launched those talks. We’ll be watching for them if they do get underway. Let’s get to the other news of the week, the reshuffling at the top of the national security apparatus. It has long been clear there are divides within the Administration on certain topics. Iran is one of them. Russia is another one of them. Mike Waltz, who you served with, viewed as a traditional Republican hawk. I say this because when he was on this program previously, he laid out in pretty clear terms that the US goal in these negotiations with Iran are dismantlement of its nuclear program. Not limits on enrichment, not verification. But those are the things that the envoy negotiating with Iran have said. We’re seeing policy differences from within the President’s own administration here. Has Congress been given details on what the goal is and what the plan is?

REP. TURNER: Well, I mean, the goal is simply stated that we do not have a nuclear Iran, and certainly the President is leaning strongly in that from his first term with the maximum pressure campaign, the President was clear that both in non-nuclear Iran and also making certain that we have that the nefarious activities of Iran working through their proxies, the terrorist groups and organizations that that be stopped. So the President is very strong on an anti-Iran policy, including ensuring that there not be a nuclear Iran.

MARGARET BRENNAN: But the things that his envoy have described sound a lot like that, 2015 nuclear deal negotiated under President Obama with limits on enrichment, for example, and things like that. I know in the past, you voted for legislation that would give Congress more oversight over a deal with Iran. Do you expect President Trump to bring any kind of deal he brokers to Congress for approval?

REP. TURNER: Well, I think we have to see what the deal is. I mean, currently there’s just ongoing negotiations. We’ll have to see how that evolves. Let’s see what those terms are–

MARGARET BRENNAN:– You don’t want–

REP. TURNER: — and really–

MARGARET BRENNAN: — any kind of review regardless?

REP. TURNER: I mean, as it evolves, we’ll have to see what those terms are and what in- and really what you know, what is achieved, and certainly there’s a role for Congress to play as that goes forward. But I think we need to give them the opportunity for success.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Well, the Israeli Prime Minister issued a statement yesterday denying that he personally was talking to Mike Waltz about bombing Iran- military action against Iran. Of course, we know his aides could have those conversations. Is it appropriate work for the National Security Advisor to the President to be coordinating with Israel about military action against Iran, or was Mike Waltz possibly in the wrong here?

REP. TURNER: Well, first off, we don’t know specifically that was occurring, but at the same time the National Security Council- the function of the National Security Council is to ensure that the President of United States has the greatest information possible. And Mike Waltz is, you know, has an incredible background and experience. He worked diligently to make certain he had a strong role in the national security team of the president. And I’m certainly glad that he’s going to be retained and staying in a strong role in this administration, working directly with- with world leaders and heads of state is certainly an important role of- as the National Security Advisor to the President. Certainly, I think even as you and Ambassador, he’ll continue to do that type of function.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Is it in the national security interest, though, to have the Secretary of State who also has, at least on paper, three other jobs now in this role, and for how long? I mean you’re saying how important it is.

REP. TURNER: Well, I mean, it’s certainly, certainly we know, certainly we know. You know, Henry Kissinger has has been in that position before–

MARGARET BRENNAN: — Even he said that it was untenable. But he was in lockstep with his president.

REP. TURNER: I think what’s also very important here is that- that Marco Rubio, you know, from a policy perspective, is very strong in this administration. His signal of being, of it, being in this position, sends a signal of continuing the same policies in the administration. From a Trump team policy perspective, you know, him taking over this sends a signal of continuation and strength. That’s excellent–

MARGARET BRENNAN: — But the policy–

REP. TURNER: — Now, we’ve got to give- now we’ve got to give him the opportunity of, is he going to be able to build out the team in the National Security Council, and that certainly hope, hopefully, that- that he’ll be able to do so and build up a strong team there that represents, really the opportunity to support President Trump and giving him the- the information and knowledge and the access to information and knowledge that he needs.

MARGARET BRENNAN: That’s a diplomatic way of saying there shouldn’t be loyalty tests to the President. You want actual experts staffing the National Security Council. You don’t want Laura Loomer, a far-right activist, making decisions on personnel.

REP. TURNER: Well, at the same time, there does have to be loyalty to the President–

MARGARET BRENNAN: — Of course–

REP. TURNER: — I mean, we saw in the President’s first term–

MARGARET BRENNAN: — but also to the Constitution–

REP. TURNER:– that the President was betrayed during the first Trump impeachment by individuals who were at the National Security Council. So, Trump personally has an understanding that you have to have people in the National Security Council that are on Trump’s team and the National Security Council being directly working with him and being in the White House, it’s very, very important that they be personnel that work for and on behalf of the President.

MARGARET BRENNAN: You are talking about national security council members who testified under oath that the President was withholding aid to Ukraine during the first administration for a political–

REP. TURNER: And was shown to have wrongly being testified because I was part of that- that panel and they- they- their testimony was proven not to be accurate, that the President was not tying aid to Ukraine to- to the investigation.

MARGARET BRENNAN: The premise of the impeachment. But your point is that looms large in the President’s memory and interaction with the National Security Council now.

REP. TURNER: The President needs to make certain that he has staff that are supportive of him in the National Security Council and his policies and make certain that they’re providing him information. This is the heart of what does the President know that our adversaries are doing. When he’s dealing with Russia, and what and policies with respect to Ukraine, he needs to know what Vladimir Putin is doing, and that’s coming directly from the National Security Council.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Noted. The White House budget was released Friday. It is not the trillion dollar promise the President campaigned on. Susan Collins on Appropriations, Roger Wicker in the Senate Armed Services Committee says this is not adequate. And in fact, he said the intention is to shred to the bone our military capabilities and support to service members. Do you share your Republican senators’ concerns?

REP. TURNER: I think there’s more work that can be done on the National Security portion of the President’s budget.

MARGARET BRENNAN: You would like to see more defense spending that the White House is putting forward. I think there’s

REP. TURNER: I think there’s going to be more debate, and I think there’s more opportunity for increased investment. We really need to do more in the national security space. There are adversaries that we have that want to do America harm, and we need to be strong.

MARGARET BRENNAN: All right. Congressman Turner, thank you for joining us.

REP. TURNER: Thank you.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Face the Nation will be back in one minute. Stay with us.
