President Trump, First Lady Melania and Barron depart the White House heading to Florida for the Thanksgiving holiday. Young Barron is now taller than dad.
The President, Melania and Barron emerged at 3:53 p.m. from the Oval Office and walked past the assembled press with a few waves. The president did not take any questions but walked with his family to Marine One, which was wheels up at 3:57 p.m.
The Press Corps was dusted upon lift-off…. it’s almost like the pilots decided to hover a little longer than normal. LOL.
President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump participate in the annual Thanksgiving Day celebration at the White House where Bread and Butter received their official Thanksgiving pardon. [Video Below, Transcript Added]
.
[Transcript] – THE PRESIDENT: Thank you very much. Please. And it’s always nice to begin by saying: The stock market is up again. We just set another record, so we should say that. Very substantially up. (Applause.) And I think that’s 132 times that we’ve set a record from the time we got elected on that very great day. But it’s — it’s good to know. A lot of people are very happy.
We’re doing well. Our country is doing very well. And the First Lady and I are delighted to welcome you all to the White House on this magnificent autumn day. On behalf of the entire Trump family, I wish each and every one of you a very happy Thanksgiving. It’s going to be a great Thanksgiving.
We’re glad to be joined today by Representatives David Rouzer and Jason Smith and a man who has done an — and, I have to say, they are warriors. They have all been great warriors. Mark Meadows, thank you very much. The three of you, please stand up. They are warriors — (applause) — and great people. And Deb, thank you very much for being here. Thank you.
Thanks also to the President of the National Turkey Federation, Joel Brandenberger; and its Chairman, Kerry Doughty, who is here with his family and his wife, Jan. Where is Ker- — Jan, thank you very much. Please, stand up for what you do. He’s also the head of Butterball — the Chairman of Butterball. (Applause.) That’s the biggest there is. Great job. And we appreciate your involvement. Thank you very much.
As we gather this week with loved ones across our beautiful land, we give thanks to God for the many gifts that he has bestowed upon us. Today, we also come together to honor the beautiful, feathered friend — the noble turkey. Now, that’s a beauty.
It’s said that Abraham Lincoln was the first President to spare a Thanksgiving turkey, at the request of his son. In 1947, President Harry Truman accepted the first annual National Thanksgiving Turkey. In the decades that followed, Presidents, from Kennedy to Reagan, would show mercy —
(The turkey gobbles.)
See? (Laughter.) Wow. That’s a strong bird.
— to their birds, but it was George H.W. Bush who first issued an official pardon.
In keeping with that tradition, today I will issue a pardon to a pair of very handsome birds: Butter and his alternate, Bread. (Laughter.)
AUDIENCE MEMBER: (Inaudible.)
THE PRESIDENT: That’s true. Look at you.
Their names were chosen by the students of Harrells Christian Academy in North Carolina. Great state.
Bread and Butter were raised in Tar Heel State by farmer Wellie Jackson, who’s here with us with his wife Tara and their lovely family. And I want to thank you very much. Great job. Great job. Thank you very much. (Applause.)
Thankfully, Bread and Butter have been specially raised by the Jacksons to remain calm under any condition, which will be very important because they’ve already received subpoenas to appear in Adam Schiff’s basement on Thursday. (Laughter and applause.) It’s true. Hundreds of people have. It seems the Democrats are accusing me of being too soft on turkey. (Laughter.)
But, Bread and Butter, I should note that. unlike previous witnesses, you and I have actually met. (Laughter.) It’s very unusual. (Applause.) Very unusual.
In any event, I expect this pardon will be a very popular one with the media. After all, turkeys are closely related to vultures. I don’t know if I like that line, but there is a little truth to it.
But today, after, the birds will retire to “Gobbler’s Rest” at Virginia Tech — great college — where they will be cared for and enjoy a terrific life.
This Thanksgiving, we bow our heads in gratitude for the newfound prosperity and spirit that’s taking place all across America. The country has never been more successful. Our military has been rebuilt. We captured the number-one terrorist in the world and killed the number-one terrorist in the world — al-Baghdadi. And I want to thank our military because there’s nothing like our military. (Applause.)
And I want to thank almighty God for the — shedding his grace on our nation. Our nation is special and we especially send our love to members of the United States Armed Forces serving all around the world. We are forever thankful for those who wear our nation’s uniform and the families who support them. The families are so important. They can never be the same without those great families. Because of their selfless service, millions of our follow Americans are celebrating another wonderful Thanksgiving in safety and in peace.
And it’s just a very special country, a very special place — the Rose Garden at the White House. If you’re looking back here, that’s the Oval Office. Some of you haven’t been here before. But every time we walk onto the grounds of the White House, we realize how special it is.
So now we reach the moment Bread and Butter have been waiting for so patiently — their presidential pardons. Melania and I wish all Americans a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving. We love you all.
Butter, let’s talk to you for a second because I’m going to do something that you’re going to be very happy about. Uh oh, that looks like a dangerous bird. (Laughter.) It just escaped.
Wow. Butter, I wish you a lot of luck. But I hereby grant you a full and complete pardon. (Applause.) Good. Full and complete. (Applause.)
House Judiciary Committee (HJC) Chairman Jerry Nadler, together with Lawfare contracted impeachment agents Barry Berke and Norm Eisen (pictured below), are attempting to reframe a collapsing impeachment and pull-in White House participation.
Chairman Nadler has announced a December 4th hearing with a panel of democrat selected constitutional lawyers and legal ‘experts’, to discuss the procedural framework of an impeachment process. As Nadler states: “Our first task is to explore the framework put in place to respond to serious allegations of impeachable misconduct”. So the HJC initial objective to build their narrative is to explain what the impeachment process is about.
This is transparently an attempt by Nadler/Lawfare to give legitimacy to an illegitimate political exercise. The hearing purpose is framed as a trap to pull the White House in, and thereby create the optics of constitutional legitimacy. Strong caution is advised and I would not be surprised to see the White House refuse to participate. Here’s why:
With the House investigative portion of resolution 660 complete, per Adam Schiff and a yet invisible report from the HPSCI committee submitted, either the House Judiciary should follow their own process or not. The White House and the minority have not even seen the one-sided report mandated by the House Impeachment Inquiry Resolution.
My advice to the White House would be to respond to Nadler’s letter by informing him the House “Impeachment Report” authorized by resolution 660 has not yet been delivered; therefore, without a basis for the HJC to consider the validity of the first phase, it would be presumptuous to engage in a second phase framework exercise without the origination material described by the House Democrats’ own procedure.
The HJC is putting the proverbial illegitimate cart before the invisible horse. Hammer them with this ! How can the HJC construct a hearing on the framework of impeachment without the results from the impeachment inquiry report?
Obviously Lawfare is rushing. They are rushing to push out this hearing on December 4th before the DOJ Inspector General drops a report on December 9th that would weaken their impeachment narrative.
Former Navy SEAL Rob O’Neill appears on Fox News to discuss the political corruption in amid the Flag officers within the military. WATCH:
.
O’Neill rightly points out how DC bureaucrats are confusing the purpose of warfighters and President Trump is focused on the common sense approach. Former Navy Secretary Richard Spencer embarrassed himself by violating the chain-of-command and then criticizing President Trump over a lack of “order and discipline” within that same command structure. Ridiculous.

QUESTION: I understand that the Koch brothers bought ancient coins. Is there any truth to that?
WJ
ANSWER: Oh, yes. William Koch was involved in a very famous case involving the Athenian decadrahms. There was a hoard discovered in Antalya by a television repairman and two other people back in 1984. They found a hoard of 2000 ancient silver coins with a metal detector. The hoard contained the rare Athenian decadrachms, which were produced as a commemorative 10-drachma coin. There were only 7 previously known examples. The Elmali Hoard contained 14 of them and became known as the “The Hoard of the Century.” The first one sold for $600,000 dollars, easily breaking the old record. The billionaire, William Koch of Boston, bought 1,800 of the coins for $3.5 million dollars. The Turkish Government knew that the treasure had been smuggled out of the country, but after it was taken across the border they didn’t have the slightest knowledge of its whereabouts. The treasure disappeared.
Based on the evidence, the Turkish Government started legal proceedings in Boston. The judge gave an important interim judgment in Turkey’s favor. Koch lost the hoard to Turkey
QUESTION: I live in Australia but seriously considering living elsewhere as our freedoms continue to be eroded, our economy artificially supports to stop property prices corrected as top 4 banks carry estimate 80% exposure, etc, etc.
I love living in Sydney beaches for climate, beaches + surf, incredible quality of raw ingredients for food and a healthy lifestyle. But I believe we are on a downward spiral which may well last a generation or longer.
I’m location independent economically with both Australian and UK passport.
Where my best options to move and make a home where the next 20 years will flourish rather than suffer?
I’m very open to suggestions?
DF
ANSWER: The UK will most likely adopt a worldwide income tax. As an Australian resident, you are taxed on your worldwide income. This means you must declare all income you receive from foreign sources in your income tax return. You might want to look at moving to Thailand. They are outside of the CRS and a very reasonable country, if not the most reasonable in SE Asia. It is hard to say what will unfold there going forward. However, the only thing that is certain is that the West is in the decline & fall mode. The financial power will shift to Asia post-2032.
We have to understand that all the promises of socialism are crumbling to the ground. The governments will become much more aggressive to enforce taxation in a desperate attempt to retain power. That will fail. The only thing this is causing is rising separatist movements and inevitable violence
QUESTION: Good morning, Mr. Armstrong. Last week, you wrote about the north and south poles flipping. Has Socrates ever suggested that the earth could flip so that the north and south poles move to where the equator is now; that is, has the earth ever moved sideways? I live in Edmonton, Alberta and, at one time, north-central Alberta lay in the tropics and was characterized by swampy river deltas; the rivers had their sources to the west and flowed into a large lake. Fossils clearly show plant, fern, and tree species that are now found in Florida and Louisiana. Even more exotic like ginkgo trees were present. Dinosaurs and other assorted reptiles thrived. Could it be that Edmonton and area swung to the north, thus killing off the dinosaurs?
Thanks for all that you do!!!
MG
ANSWER: We were provided the data on all the pole shifts going back millions of years. Each time the plates move (expand), a strip of new lava appears on the seafloor. It is magnetizedto where the north pole is at that time. So we have all that data and it is also in Socrates. The poles shift on the Sun is every 11 years. But here on Earth, it appears to be about 720,000-year cycles for a major flip. We are clearly in the time slot for a pole shift. But because there is not a human record explaining what it was like during such an event, it is very hard to speculate if it is a sudden defrost. Some have been frozen while eating lunch, which may have taken place in Siberia with the frozen mammoths.
It is part of our database on nature which was fed into Socrates. This is how it has been able to correctly forecast major changes in weather from the historical databases we have gathered. It does appear that 2032 is also the culmination of climate change which is part of the cycle that is historical and has nothing to do with humans. We are nothing but a fly on an elephant’s rear end that can be swatted off in a second in the long-term scheme of things.
New Jersey was also underwater. Much of the State has the Pinelands which is sand. Where I grew up, we had clay pits where kids used to hunt for dinosaurs fossils since they discovered some in that area. Over millions of years, the rising and falling of the coastline deposited minerals underground, culminating with the end of the last ice age about 12,000 years ago when plants and trees began growing in what is now New Jersey.
I find it really funny how the Global Warming people warn that coastal cities will sink because the ice will melt. Again, these people offer absolutely no historical evidence to support their claims and they completely fail to address the fact that it was the end of the ice age when coastal land began to appear in areas they claim will sink.
Climate has ALWAYS changed. They are only about reducing population growth. It is absurd to claim 11,000 scientistshave agreed to teach girls they should not have children. If any climatologist really signed that statement, that is OPINION and not based on any scientific analysis. If their name is on that paper agreeing to that statement and they never agreed to that, they should file a class-action lawsuit to stop this propaganda.
We have much more serious climate change issues that these people are ensuring we are not going to be prepared for because it is always the cold which reduces population historically. The recent pole movements have been drastic of late, which may be a warning of what is just around the corner. To make it clear, the poles have “wandered” in shorter time intervals measured in 1,000-year cycles compared to 720,000-year cycles for major flips. There have been detailed records of the pole movement since 1580 from London. The north pole has always moved. What is unusual right now is its acceleration in the movement has been faster than records have indicated.
While any magnetic-field flip could be in our immediate future based upon our timing models, keep in mind that we are dealing with a cycle duration of 720,000 years. Being within a decade would be extremely accurate with this type of duration. So there is no way to pinpoint even a year of the decade for that matter. The effects would be profound in technology. This is because the weaker magnetic field would be somewhat poorer at shielding Earth against the solar wind (the constant stream of charged particles emanating from the sun) and cosmic rays (blasts of radiation from deep space). Therefore, GPS would not be accurate, and satellites that monitor the weather or carry telecommunications signals could be disrupted or even fried. Then we would have increased radiation might kill off some portion of the population, animals, and plant life which would result from the decreased shielding in some pockets, but probably the atmosphere would still provide sufficient shielding at Earth’s surface since we have no evidence of that effect previously.
Polarity flip or reversal is one of the few geophysical phenomena that is indeed global. A pole shift begins in the deepest parts of the Earth, however, it also affects the atmosphere. Based on the data we have gathered, over the last 2.6 million years, the magnetic poles have flipped 10 times and there have been more than 20 times during which the poles have wandered. When a volcano erupts, the lava cools and is magnetized to where the north pole was located at that moment in time. Iron oxide’s outermost electrons orient themselves along the Earth’s magnetic field and once the lava cools down to 1022 degrees (550 degrees Celsius), this is when the magnetization direction becomes fixed. We were supplied data from sources that wanted to see what cycles Socrates would extract. That was 720,000-year intervals. We are in the target zone now into about 2045.
REQUEST:
Hi Martin, I trust you are well. Would you post the chart you showed of how the UK has performed since joining the EU? I’ve been ploughing through your emails but am unable to find it. In short, I want to show my partners son the chart, who is a vehement ‘remainer’. Ie, evidence that the Uk would be better off leaving the EU.
Thanks for your help,
Cheers
Charlie
Earlier today President Trump signed H.R. 724, the “Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture (PACT) Act,” which makes it a Federal crime to engage in animal crushing. Quite remarkably this law is the first ever federal anti-cruelty statute to protect animals in U.S. history. [Video and Transcript Below]
.
[Transcript] – THE PRESIDENT: Thank you very much. This is a very important signing, and we’ve had two now in a row that are very, very important and inspirational, I might add. Right? When you think of it.
Thank you all for being here today. I’m pleased to sign the Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture Act into law. Animal cruelty. This is something that should’ve happened a long time ago and it didn’t. But the people behind me and others have been incredible, and I just want to congratulate you.
And I ask the same question I asked for another bill that we just signed: Why hasn’t it — this happened a long time ago? And I give you the same answer: because Trump wasn’t President. (Laughter.)
This commonsense legislation restricts the creation and distribution of videos or images of animal torture. It is important that we combat these heinous and sadistic acts of cruelty, which are totally unacceptable in a civilized society.
We’re pleased to be joined by some of the very important people that got this done. And they worked very, very hard on it. Representative Vern Buchanan — fantastic person. Sheriff Carolyn “Bunny” Welsh. Kitty Block, President and CEO of the Humane Society. Jack Hubbard, COO of American Humane. Rory Diamond, CEO of K9s for Warriors. Marty Irby, Executive Director of Animal Wellness Action. Laura Sellards, President and Executive Director of the Warrior Dog Foundation. Lauree Simmons, President and Founder of Big Dog Ranch Rescue. John Thompson, Executive Director of the National Animal Care and Control Association. Sara Amundson, President of the Humane Society Legislative Fund. Tracie Letterman, Vice President of the Humane Society Legislative Fund. Anna Marie Malloy, Senior Legislative Specialist at the Humane Society Legislative Fund.
And these people really worked hard together with some of your friends that are in different states all over the country right now, that we were able to get this done a little bit quicker than people thought. And so they send all of their regards, and some of them are watching this right now, as we do this.
From battlefields to hospitals, from the ranches of the frontier to the backyards of America, from animals of service to animals of war, our nation’s animals have played a vital role in the development, settlement, security, and happiness of our country. So true. We had a great dog named Conan here, just a little while ago. It’s very fitting that it was on the same day, but that’s a little bit what you’re talking about. Conan was something and created quite a stir.
We have a responsibility to honor the dignity of God’s creation. With today’s act, we take the critical step toward being more responsible and humane stewards of our planet and all who we want to cherish and take care of, and all of those who live on it.
And I will now sign this very important piece of legislation. And I want to congratulate everybody here. And after I’m finished, I’d like you to have you maybe say a few words to the media, if you’d like. Okay? Thank you very much.
(The bill is signed.)
Okay, so who’s supposed to get this pen? (Laughter.)
PARTICIPANT: Right over there, the Congressman.
REPRESENTATIVE BUCHANAN: Thank you.
THE PRESIDENT: And your sons? Introduce your sons and say a few words.
REPRESENTATIVE BUCHANAN: James and Matt.
THE PRESIDENT: Great job.
MR. MATT BUCHANAN: It’s great to be here.
REPRESENTATIVE BUCHANA: And thank you for your leadership on animals. I can tell you this has been six years and coming — about torturing animals and cruelty to animals. But without your leadership, this wouldn’t be a reality today. So thank you very much, Mr. President.
THE PRESIDENT: Well, thank you very much. Great job. Great job.
See that, Jeff?
MR. IRBY: It’s the first ever anti-cruelty statute in American history. So, you broke another record.
THE PRESIDENT: Oh, wow. That’s fantastic. (Applause.)
MR. DIAMOND: In one stroke of the pen, the President has done more to protect animals and stop animal cruelty in America than anyone in history. That’s incredible.
THE PRESIDENT: That’s really a very nicely put statement. Thank you very much.
MR. DIAMOND: Yes, sir.
THE PRESIDENT: I appreciate it.
MS. BLOCK: This bill — this now passage — it’s a watershed moment. Animal protection is such a vital issue. We are so grateful for the signing today and for the support of the American people and all the legislators who stood behind us. This is an incredibly important moment and for such a great cause. So thank you.
THE PRESIDENT: That’s great. That’s a great honor. Thank you.
MS. BLOCK: Thank you. Thank you.
THE PRESIDENT: My great honor. Please.
SHERIFF WELSH: Mr. President —
THE PRESIDENT: Hi, Sheriff.
SHERIFF WELSH: How are you? On behalf of law enforcement, this is another effort on your part and success on your part to assist federal, state, and local agencies to work together, because animal cruelty — the cruelty of animals, the destruction in the home, domestic violence — everything is related. And what this does is enable law enforcement to work together on the federal, state, and local level to investigate and prosecute animal cruelty. And we thank you for that.
THE PRESIDENT: Thank you, Sheriff. And she’s one of the toughest people in the country — (laughter) — for law and order. So that’s a pretty —
SHERIFF WELSH: Thank you.
THE PRESIDENT: — interesting combination of events.
Please. Go ahead.
MS. SIMMONS: We see animal abuse every day in rescue throughout the southeast, throughout the country. And I really feel that this bill will make people think twice about — before they abuse an animal, and hopefully end the horrific torture that some of these animals endure.
Mr. President, I want to thank you for getting behind this, for helping the animals of the United States. And hopefully you can work a deal and — with your China trade that we can — the meat trade over there too.
THE PRESIDENT: That’s pretty tough toward animals, isn’t it, when you think of it, right? We’re doing actually very well in that regard.
Tell me, why wasn’t this done many years ago? Could you — do you want to answer that?
MR. DIAMOND: There is no good answer, sir. Until you became President, it wasn’t going to happen.
THE PRESIDENT: Pretty amazing, you know? It’s almost common sense, right?
MR. DIAMOND: Exactly.
THE PRESIDENT: From the heart. But almost common sense. That’s pretty amazing.
Anybody would like to say something?
MR. IRBY: Yeah, Mr. President. Thank you so much for all that you’ve done as our President — and, Mr. Buchanan, you –for making this the first-ever anti-cruelty statute in American history. I know you must think a lot of that, and that really says a lot about everything you do as our President. And we’re proud to have you.
THE PRESIDENT: Well, thank you very much. I appreciate it. Anybody? Please.
MR. THOMPSON: Mr. President —
THE PRESIDENT: Yes.
MR. THOMPSON: Yeah, I just want to say that, you know, animals are changing in our society. It used to be they were just animals; now they’re family members. And what you’ve done today has another toolbox in the men and women who — in animal care and control who go out there and fight every day. Sooner or later, we’re going to put an end to this and the evil that comes with it.
THE PRESIDENT: Well, that’s very nicely stated. Thank you very much.
REPRESENTATIVE BUCHANAN: Let me only add, also —
THE PRESIDENT: Go ahead.
REPRESENTATIVE BUCHANAN: — Mr. President, I just wanted to say that this is a big bipartisan win. It takes time, unfortunately — you know better than anybody — to try and get something done up here. But with your leadership — and we’ve got some other good bipartisan wins we’re going to have shortly, I think. But this — this is how it came together. There was a lot of work by a lot of different groups and members of Congress on both sides.
THE PRESIDENT: What were the numbers?
REPRESENTATIVE BUCHANAN: A hundred percent, pretty much, for both sides, the House and the Senate. But again, that’s because of your leadership and what you brought to this effort.
THE PRESIDENT: That’s really great.
REPRESENTATIVE BUCHANAN: Thank you very much.
THE PRESIDENT: Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
Pam Bondi, would you like to say something?
MS. BONDI: I’ve prosecuted way too many of these cases, President. Way too many of these cases were prosecuted. And thanks to you, you’re going to save so many animals. Thank you.
THE PRESIDENT: Thank you very much, Pam.
Well, thank you all very much. And we appreciate it. Maybe stay back and we’ll take a couple of pictures and we’ll let the media go. Thank you all very much. Thank you. I appreciate it. Thank you.
