What Kind of Civil Unrest Are We Looking At?

COMMENT #1: There is civil unrest in America, there is no civil unrest in Europe, nothing, zero. You are just so patriotic that it is always America up, Europe down, biased scumbags.

REPLY #1: The civil unrest our computer is forecasting is global and not limited to the United States. In case you have not noticed, there are major protests against the lockdowns in Europe. The term “civil unrest” does not mean exclusively violence. I have explained it all depends upon the police and military. In 1991, Yeltsin stood on the tanks in Moscow and the civil unrest led to a bloodless revolution.

They were also toppling statutes in London under the Black Lives Matter movement. They were toppling statutes in London and the mayor said some statues should be removed. Here is a picture of the protest in London in June 2020. That is NOT the civil unrest that the computer is projecting. The actions of this group have been usurped for political purposes but this is NOT the major civil unrest which is brewing against the lockdowns and the loss of all freedoms, which is global and is by no means limited to Europe or the United States.They have been trying to organize protests this coming weekend in Europe in Italy, Germany, Austria, and France for starters. This racial unrest is intended to influence the election. This is not something that will lead to revolution. It only further divides the nations and distracts the people from their real agenda — the Great Reset. The civil unrest we see may indeed lead to the break up of Eurozone, but you must have missed the posts that also warn that the United States will break up as well.

We are witnessing the first stage of this process that ends in 2032. First, there is a migration out of the cities because of taxes and the lack of security. As this further develops, the second phase is the break up of national states. Everything reverts back to its origin like the split in Germany north v south and we will see the same in the United States. The cycle of civilization is we all come together to create great empires because this BENEFITS all concerned. However, then governments always become draconian which then sets in motion their own demise. The more they lose power, the more drastic they become. This leads to people leaving and the ultimate collapse of that empire.

This is what we are going through and the financial capital of the world will migrate to China. So I hardly see how I am so patriotic that I put Europe down and America up. I do not think you have read enough of the posts on here to grasp the trend.
COMMENT #2: The Berlin (local) authorities have forbidden the announced and allowed demonstrations (which are based as a basic right in our German/federal) constitution, with the comment, “they have seen that at the demonstration of 1st august a lot of people have ignored the actual (valid) restrictions – holding distance 1,5 meter. and wearing masks. So they are “afraid” that these “hardliners” would behave the same this coming weekend.

(My comment, if the official figure of 17-20.000 people for 1st august would be right, the street of 17th June is so extremely huge that each participant easily could take distance of 5 meters to each other, and with 5 meters. you don´t need a mask.

It gets really interesting yet. – I think a lot of people will stay home and not travel to Berlin, but a majority is feeling so extremely ignored that they state “you can´t stop us – and – now it could get violent! (depends on the reaction of Berlin police head, and the orders he gets).

REPLY #2: They are using this virus to remove all our freedoms and as an excuse to prevent protests. This is a very clever way of applying tyranny. You will find that they are already laying the plans to extend this for another year because this is all about destroying the world economy to enable their Great Reset. It is a shame if the majority stays at home. This will only lead to a more violent confrontation when they realize oppression is the NEW NORM.

This is NOT about this virus and health. They have used this to impose their version of climate change to alter the entire world economy.
One of the major players in destroying the world economy is the academic Klaus Schwab and his World Economic Forum. To keep up the pretense that this will extend into the end of 2021, Schwab has postponed Davos until the summer of 2021. He was going to sell his Great Reset in January, but that is a slap in the face if world leaders gather in Davos while trying to keep everyone locked down.

U.S. Tightens The Noose By Initiating Snapback of UN Sanctions Against Iran

The United Nations Security Council disgracefully rejected the U.S. initiative to extend the UN arms embargo against the Iranian regime beyond its current expiration this October. As the U.S. Ambassador to the UN Kelly Craft said at the time on August 14th, “the United States stands sickened – but not surprised – as the clear majority of Council members gave the green light to Iran to buy and sell all manner of conventional weapons. History will easily trace the path of leadership in this era, and unfortunately it will not go through the UN Security Council.”

Iranian Defense Minister General Amir Hatami made the Iranian regime’s malevolent intentions crystal clear. “We have made it known that we are ready to provide high-quality and appropriately-priced weapons and equipment to countries that need this,” he said on August 18th.

Iran: World’s leading sponsor of terrorism

Ambassador Craft promised that the United States would not give up trying to prevent the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism from gaining unfettered access to the global arms market.

UN Security Council Resolution 2231, which endorsed the disastrous nuclear deal with Iran known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), lifted various nuclear-related UN sanctions against Iran that had been imposed in previous Security Council resolutions. The Security Council took this major UN sanctions relief step upfront in contemplation of the Iranian regime’s continuing compliance with its commitments under the JCPOA. Resolution 2231 provided a mechanism for those previous resolutions, with their accompanying prohibitions imposed on Iran, to “snap back” in the event of Iran’s breach of the JCPOA.

Iran has committed multiple material breaches of its JCPOA commitments relating not only to arms transfers and missile tests, but also to its core nuclear-related commitments regarding nuclear enrichment levels and access for international inspections. As one of the original participants in the process leading up to the full implementation of the JCPOA in reliance on Iran’s commitments, the United States has every right to initiate snapback of the provisions of previous Security Council resolutions that had been in place prior to January 2016, regardless of whether the U.S. has the support of other countries that are parties to the JCPOA or otherwise.

On August 20th, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo personally delivered letters to both UN Secretary General Guterres and to the president of the Security Council initiating the snapback process, leading to the restoration of virtually all UN sanctions on Iran lifted under UN Security Council Resolution 2231. “America will not appease,” Secretary Pompeo told reporters at UN headquarters in New York. “America will lead.”

U.S. has not violated any legally binding obligations imposed by Resolution 2231

The snapback is supposed to take effect in 30 days from notification of an issue involving “significant non-performance of commitments under the JCPOA,” according to the process outlined in Resolution 2231, unless a Security Council member or the President of the Security Council introduces a draft resolution beforehand that is passed to extend the sanctions relief on Iran. Such a draft resolution would not pass, however, as long as President Trump remains in office. The United States would be able to veto such a draft resolution, allowing the snapback to proceed into effect automatically.

Opposition to the U.S. initiative from China and Russia is to be expected. It is disappointing to say the least, however, that the Western European permanent members of the Security Council, France and the United Kingdom, have also come out publicly against the U.S. on invoking the snapback process. Then again, Western European countries are not known for their moral courage when potentially lucrative commercial deals are at stake.

The critics of the U.S. snapback initiative claim that the U.S. has no authority to invoke it after withdrawing from the JCPOA. The critics are wrong. The JCPOA itself is a non-binding political document that was not even signed. Security Council Resolution 2231’s endorsement of the JCPOA does not convert a non-binding political document into a legally binding agreement. If the U.S. decided, as it did for national security reasons, to reimpose its own unilateral sanctions, the U.S. has not violated any legally binding obligations imposed by Resolution 2231. However, what Resolution 2231 did do is to legally condition the lifting of United Nations sanctions that the Security Council had previously imposed on Iran upon Iran’s meeting of its JCPOA commitments.

The United States is identified in Resolution 2231 as one of the “JCPOA Participants.” The U.S.’s “participant” status under Resolution 2231 derives solely from its original active participation in the negotiation, finalization and implementation of the JCPOA. Resolution 2231 sets no other qualifications or conditions on the original or continuing eligibility of such specifically identified JCPOA Participants to initiate a snapback.

Attempt by China, other UN Security Council members to change the explicit text of Resolution 2231 with hollow declarations is meritless

The U.S. could have vetoed Resolution 2231 because of the provisions lifting the previous UN sanctions but did not do so in reliance upon Iran’s commitments to abide by the terms of the JCPOA. Absent an amendment to the resolution to delete the United States as a JCPOA participant state after President Trump withdrew the U.S. from the nuclear deal in May 2018, which the Security Council never adopted, the U.S. maintains its original standing to initiate a snapback.

In short, the snapback provisions of Resolution 2231 are keyed to Iran’s JCPOA non-performance, not to the performance or non-performance of any other JCPOA Participant.

“[T]he United States” and any other “JCPOA participant State” may initiate snapback. Operative paragraph 11 of Resolution 2231 sets out the requirements for initiating snapback. Those requirements are that (i) a “JCPOA participant State” (ii) notify the UN Security Council (iii) of an issue it believes constitutes “significant non-performance” of commitments under the JCPOA. That has been done, and the snapback clock is ticking.

The attempt by China and other UN Security Council members to change the explicit text of Resolution 2231 with hollow declarations is meritless. China and Russia also attempted to enlist the current president of the Security Council in essentially ignoring the U.S. notification, as if somehow that would make the notification disappear or render it null and void. Indonesia’s UN Ambassador Dian Triansyah Djani, Security Council president for August, went along with the scheme. In his capacity as Security Council president, he said that he was “not in the position to take further action” on the U.S. snapback notification. Ambassador Djani said that there was no consensus in the Council supporting the U.S.’s move. Ambassador Djani should go back and read Resolution 2231 in detail. While a consensus may be desirable, no consensus is required for the snapback to take effect.

Simply ignoring the U.S. notification as if it did not happen will have no legal effect in stopping the snapback from taking effect

Dmitry Polyanskiy, Russia’s First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, tweeted what he viewed to be the result of the Security Council president’s decision to take no action: “It means, there is NO SNAPBACK.”

Wrong! The president of the Security Council does not have authority under Resolution 2231 to decide on whether the United States’ snapback notification is valid or not. He is authorized to introduce a draft resolution for a vote by the Security Council to keep the sanctions relief provisions of Resolution 2231 in place, which the United States can then veto. Simply ignoring the U.S. notification as if it did not happen will have no legal effect in stopping the snapback from taking effect.

When asked by reporters at the UN about sanctions enforcement, Secretary Pompeo would not get ahead of President Trump’s decision. “But you just need look no further than the history of the last two and a half years,” Pompeo said. “When the U.S. sanctions were violated, we enforced them. When UN sanctions are violated, we’re going to do everything we can to enforce them as well.”

Belarus & the Covert Civil Unrest

QUESTION: Dear Mr. Armstrong, I am writing from Lithuania, next to Belarus, which is is undergoing some serious civil unrest. It is anyone’s guess whether the presidential election outcome was faked/real, but the fact is that President Lukashenko is under serious pressure aimed at him being ousted. A question arises if the concerted effort to remove him was precipitated by his skeptical attitude towards all things covid19. I have to admit that I am no big fan of any dictator including Lukashenko, but the timing seems odd, as TPTB cannot care less for human rights abuse- Saudi Arabia is ok to them.

MY QUESTION IS IF BILL GATES IS PULLING THE STRINGS, as Lukashenko made a mockery of the corona affair? There were some obviously staged events in Lithuania to support the uprising in Belarus. And what worries me most, is the fact that participants were joining gloved hands and had masks on, sort of voluntary slaves. Ironically, the Belarus dictator let his people live their normal lives, including football games, when my Lithuania was under lockdown, and my 9 yo daughter has some anxiety issues since. Sort of Stockholm syndrome.

ANSWER: President Lukashenko is often called the accidental last dictator of Europe. There is no question that the Belarusian government has been against the climate change movement. Only in January 2020 did it announce an action plan to phase out polymer packaging. However, Lukashenko also rejected COVID-19 and did not lockdown his economy.

The rumor is that the opposition is being funded by Soros. Lukashenko accused the West of fomenting unrest as he sought to consolidate his grip on power amid widening protests. But it may not be governments, but clandestine activists on a global scale. Lukashenko spoke as the European Union rejected the official results of the vote. The EU naturally expressed its solidarity with protesters. The EU said it’s preparing sanctions against Belarusian officials responsible for the brutal post-election police actions. Lukashenko is also keeping in close contact with Putin in Russia.

Premier Liu He and USTR Lighthizer Discuss Renewed Phase-1 Deliverables…

United States Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and China’s Vice-Premier Liu He release a joint statement showing renewed emphasis on phase-1 purchases.

Washington, DC – Ambassador Lighthizer and Secretary Mnuchin participated in a regularly scheduled call this evening with China’s Vice Premier Liu He to discuss implementation of the historic Phase One Agreement between the United States and China. The parties addressed steps that China has taken to effectuate structural changes called for by the Agreement that will ensure greater protection for intellectual property rights, remove impediments to American companies in the areas of financial services and agriculture, and eliminate forced technology transfer.

 

The parties also discussed the significant increases in purchases of U.S. products by China as well as future actions needed to implement the agreement. Both sides see progress and are committed to taking the steps necessary to ensure the success of the agreement. (link)

This is interesting timing. In the foreground President Trump has openly stated he was/is not seeking further trade discussions with China. However, in the background if China does not meet the $75 billion phase-1 purchases, then a set of automatically triggering tariffs kick-in…. so it is in China’s interest to engage.

This trade leverage, combined with President Trump’s willingness to completely decouple from China…. combined with tariffs against China being favored by President Trump… explains the position of the administration.  Do nothing and tariffs kick back in.

According to Reuters analytics China has only purchased $7.3 billion in agricultural products through the first half of the year. The phase-1 agreement (tariff avoidance) requires $36.5 billion in purchases for 2020.

Additionally, in the energy sector: “China bought only 5% of the targeted $25.3 billion in energy products from the United States in the first half of 2020. Chinese state-owned oil firms have booked tankers to carry at least 20 million barrels of U.S. crude for August and September.” [Reuters Link] Again, if China doesn’t meet the agreement threshold the suspended tariffs return in full force.

It looks like Vice-Premier Liu He is attempting to head-off the re-institution of tariffs due to phase-1 purchases falling below the agreement; thus Beijing is trying to avoid the built-in tariff penalty aspect.

Tyranny is Indistinguishable whether used by Kings, Dictators or Career Politicians

What is going on in New Zealand and Melbourne is the complete rejection of every principle of liberty, which has degenerated into a tyrannical coup. These are the very same actions by those governments that sparked the American Revolution. We have to wonder about this forecast of Socrates about rising civil unrest on a global scale. I had assumed it would be because of the debt collapse and rising taxation. But we are witnessing such tyrannical actions from Europe to New Zealand and Melbourne that this appears to be using the virus to suppress what they realize will be the collapse of their governments. They are turning our Free World into Venezuela. These tyrannical people in office now will perhaps eventually suspend elections when they realize they themselves would be booted out.

They have suspended all warrants and authorized the police to simply break into anyone’s house if they suspect you are violating COVID regulations. This is precisely the same tyranny that sparked the American Revolution. The king authorized Writs of Assistance which allowed the government to arbitrarily search whatever they suspected for any reason. John Adams, Second President, listened to the 4-hour speech of the defense lawyer James Otis (1725-1783) who argued against the king’s Writs of Assistance in February 1761. History repeats for there are few people in government today that even understand what is at stake with the actions being taken in the name of this virus. This also proves that there is NO DIFFERENCE between kings and career politicians. Liberty cannot exist with pretend representatives of the people.

Here are a few excerpts from that famous speech of James Otis that so moved John Adams and inspired the birth of the American Revolution.

I will to my dying day oppose, with all the powers and faculties God has given me, all such instruments of slavery on the one hand and villainy on the other as this Writ of Assistance is. It appears to me the worst instrument of arbitrary power, the most destructive of English liberty and the fundamental principles of law, that ever was found in an English law-book…  

The writ prayed for in this petition, being general, is illegal. It is a power that places the liberty of every man in the hands of every petty officer. I say I admit that special Writs of Assistance, to search special places, may be granted to certain persons on oath. But I deny that the writ now prayed for can be granted…

In the first place, the writ is universal, being directed “to all and singular justices, sheriffs, constables, and all other officers and subjects”; so that, in short, it is directed to every subject in the King’s dominions. Everyone with this writ may be a tyrant; if this commission be legal, a tyrant in a legal manner, also, may control, imprison, or murder any one within the realm.   In the next place, it is perpetual; there is no return. A man is accountable to no person for his doings. Every man may reign secure in his petty tyranny, and spread terror and desolation around him, until the trump of the Archangel shall excite different emotions in his soul. In the third place, a person with this writ, in the daytime, may enter all houses, shops, etc., at will, and command all to assist him. Fourthly, by this writ not only deputies, etc., but even their menial servants, are allowed to lord it over us…  

One of the most essential branches of English liberty is the freedom of one’s house. A man’s house is his castle; and whilst he is quiet, he is as well guarded as a prince in his castle. This writ, if it should be declared legal, would totally annihilate this privilege. Custom-house officers may enter our houses when they please; we are commanded to permit their entry. Their menial servants may enter, may break locks, bars, and everything in their way; and whether they break through malice or revenge, no man, no court can inquire. Bare suspicion without oath is sufficient.

French Police Arrest Man Because his Mask was Just Below his Nose

COMMENT: The French police are out of control. In a recent video gone viral, a CCTV video footage shows a supermarket employee being violently arrested because he allegedly was not wearing his mask “properly”.

With such pretexts, the government can arrest anyone without barely anybody even noticing. I think they’re testing kidnapping. We also know that the government has implemented without any vote or debate the use of rivotril to kill people said to be “dying”. Family members were not allowed to see them before dying, nor their relatives to attend the funerals. This is the typical soviet methodology to get rid of dissenters.

Dear Martin and Socrates,
I have been following you two for many years, often with a byrds eye view. What happens here on earth is in conformity with never failing cosmic laws. Things MUST happen even if we don’t like it. Dark,evil times must come wherefrom good prosperous times can emerge and thus push evolution forward – only to be followed by darker times and then even better and more prosperous times than before that, and so it goes on and on in never ending, never failing cycles. Understanding this can make us live WITH inescapable, inevitable changes we must face, not AGAINST them.
Socrates is telling us what has happened and he tells us what will happen so we can act accordingly, even giving precise dates. Never a harsh word, never favoring anyone, never keeping secrets to himself he just informs us. He’s there for everybody: traders, dealers, bankers, real estaters, climatists, farmers, governments, ordinary folks for whatever reason.
He is a guiding beacon. His motives are only for the best of mankind. He speaks nothing but the truth. This is very thoughtful and kind. Isn’t this the most humane one can do?
Of course Socrates is nothing without his maker. What has been said above is about Martin Armstrong. He is the beacon. He is the one who is thoughtful and kind. He must care immensly for next door neighbor and humankind. (Isn’t this the greatest of all commands?)

REPLY: Thank you very much for your comment. Keep in mind that we all act out of our own self-interest. We are all in this together. Many people see this as evil. But by acting in our own self-interest, we make the entire system work.

The famous speech that “Greed is Good” delivered by Michael Douglas in “Wall Street” has a lot of truth to it, for it is not just greed with respect to money. Greed to make money is also the mother of all invention. Communism failed because it removed all creation from the individual and centralized that in government, which is removed from the people. Watch the movie “Mr. Jones.” Stalin’s communism failed. They went from a productive society to collapse. To hide that truth, he stole the food from Ukraine and killed more than 7 million people. Stalin’s self-interest was to cover-up the failure of Communism. Countless people died to pretend communism worked.

My personal self-interest is the desire to live in peace and to have a nice future for my family. What I do, I am compelled to do. It is not for money, or I would be selling advertising on the sites or go back to funds management. I have been fortunate enough not to need the money, and that has given me the freedom to explore what I envisioned. This is what governments cannot do despite believing they are all-powerful. They cannot use imagination to create something new since they have no actual mind.

Consequently, we are always confronted by the left, which insists upon controlling everything. In the process, they destroy the best of humanity — our imagination and creativity. They pursue unrealistic goals that always denigrate human individuality. This is why I do not see how a one-world government is even feasible because no matter what body of people you bring together, there is always a division who sees the glass half-full or half-empty. This is what drives the left mad. They demand conformity.

What motivates me, I would say, boils down to two aspects. First, my desire for freedom and to be left alone. Second, I have witnessed the markets do not move on actual fundamental news as much as they move on perception and anticipation. It was the lack of news that led to the 1987 Crash when nobody could understand what was happening and wild rumors emerged that Europe was invaded by Russia to rumors that the president was shot with a bullet dipped in poison. It was simply capital flows, and people feared the dollar would fall another 40%.

 

I have always been interested in Artificial Intelligence and have witnessed countless times how governments make decisions without researching if those actions have been successful in the past. I wanted to create Socrates to offer us guidance that was totally unbiased and would provide a road map for the future. Perhaps if we listened to such a system, we would not be creating madness and chaos, which will only lead to the inevitable crash. We cannot alter the cycles, but I believe we can help smooth out the extreme moves and seek a new age of better management for all. This is in my self-interest, for my family and their future, long after I am gone.

I read your blog with great fascination recently as the great Covid hoax continues.
You talk about the global agenda for one world government and I sadly agree with your assessment. I do wonder though if you have an opinion on who the real masters are? David Icke calls them ‘the cult’ although he doesn’t go into details about who they really are. David appears to be off his rocker but so much of what he says makes sense and it’s easy to see how his predictions will play out in front of us. Cashless societies, massive Orwellian surveillance, electronic passports, fusion of the human race with AI and ultimately a hive-mind where humans are told what to think by their computer programs. We seem to be sleep walking into a grim future. It’s incredible how quickly we have given up our freedoms and acquiesced to the madness of lockdown in return for our ‘safety’ from the flu.

ANSWER: We have to be very careful about sticking to facts. It is when you go off into never-never-land and talk about AI hive links that you tend to then discredit the truth. I do not know David Icke and I do not read or listen to him. I have been critical of these conspiracy theories of creating a one-world government BECAUSE I do not see where it is rationally possible. That DOES NOT mean people do not believe that they can eliminate war stupidly assuming if there is only one government then it cannot declare war on itself. That is such a hair brain theory it really does not warrant more than its absurd. They never bothered to look at civil war and how countries break apart.

Just look at Europe. That has been the entire idea before the creation of the Eurozone. This is a theory elites have tried to pull off. However, that does NOT make it a plausible idea. We see Greek protests against austerity and they blame the Germans. After World War II, Greece forgave the debt Germany owed to Greece. However, with the Greek economic crisis in 2010, Germany demanded under Merkel that the GHreeks MUST pay back loans.

We have separatist movements popping up everywhere, including inside Germany North v South. We see the same split in Italy – North v South. In Spain, it is East v West (Barcelona). We see separatist movement in Belgium to split the country North v South but also along language lines – Flemish, German, French.

In the Czech Republic, there is the region of Moravia claimed by the Moravian autonomists which even includes the Silesian autonomists. In Denmark, the Bornholm region and the Faroe Islands both seek separation. In Finland, the Åland Swedes want to be autonomous. In France, there are no less than 15 separatist movements.

I do not dispute that people are trying to create a one-world government like George Soros, but our models warn that this COVID scam is not only creating a mass flight from cities, but this will only increase the intensity for separatist movements especially as Socialists keep trying to take over.

The “real masters” are not the Rockefellers and Rothschilds. They are no longer as powerful as they once were 100 years ago. Nevertheless, Bill Gates’ father was linked to the Rockefellers and their experiments on other populations along with John Hopinks University. The Rothschilds have long been replaced by Goldman Sacks which everyone I know of in the industry has long called then “Government Sacks” who infiltrates government with an endless stream of CEOs to runt the Treasury, SEC, and the CFTC. They are strategically above the law.

What is very different from this conspiracy is that politicians around the world have jumped on Bill Gates’ agenda against their own people. They have deliberately been forcing the collapse of the world economy in order to indeed redesign it from the ground up. I believe that Gates has been bribing them to achieve such a global agenda. This group is desperate to overthrow Trump because he stands in the way. Trump can’t be bribed and that is their problem. Make no mistake about it, Klaus Schwab is a key player in this agenda to destroy the world economy and rebuild it into a controlled nightmare.

 

 

Schwab and his World Economic Forum in Davos is a critical factor to influence all world politicians to accept this Gates-Schwab Agenda. Add to this George Soros and his drive to overthrow governments to forge his vision of a one-world government. This is not speculation. This is an agenda that Soros has well designed calling it his Open Society. Yet it is Schwab who has put on the line the World Economic Forum to push his Great Reset.

It has been Gates who is behind the Cashless Society pushing very hard to force everyone into his electronic database where you cannot buy or sell without his vision of digital currencies merged with his Digital ID. Because he is also a eugenic believer and sees the problem of climate because caused by overpopulation, his curious birth-control chip which can be turned on and off remotely would allow him one day to require permits to have children. That is speculation, but he has developed a chip rather than pills you cannot guarantee someone will actually take them.

Unfortunately, these people will create war and civil unrest but they will not succeed. They will probably round up everyone who opposes them and they are enticing the military elite to join them for they also would love to see world war reduce the population. Make no mistake about it, their target for that will be Syria.
